Justin Bieber Talks Kylie, Selena, Near Self-Destruction

You think you know Justin Bieber?

You think you know what makes this singer tick?

You may not be so certain after reading excerpts from the singer’s wide-ranging interview with Billboard magazine.

In promotion of his new album, which drops on November 13, the artist has opened up on such personal topics as his father, his ongoing battle with celebrity and plenty more…

All is not what it seems: “It might seem awesome from the outside, but I’m struggling. Certain things broke my trust with people. Situations happen that taint your mind… I felt like people were judging me all the time. I came out alive.

“I came out swinging. But I was close to letting [fame] completely destroy me.”

A world beyond himself: “Enough with the Justin Bieber Show. I want to veer away from the self-centered attitude. I’m just focused on the people who have been there since the start, on people who are taking the journey now. I want them to feel like we’re doing this together.”

In defense of… Kylie Jenner? I wouldn’t suggest being a child star. It’s the toughest thing in the world… I want people to be more kind to young celebrities. Like at Kylie. Look at her world:

“She has been living on TV since she was a kid. Every time she’s looking around she sees a camera, and that’s affecting how she’s thinking and how she’s perceiving people and why she has to do certain things… Situations that happen taint your mind, especially in this industry. Especially for girls.”

Daddy dearest? “There’s a misconception that he’s this deadbeat dad, but he has been in my life since [I was 5]. I was with him on weekends and Wednesdays.”

On that Justin Bieber naked photo: I do feel the photo was an invasion of my privacy. I felt super violated. My dad made light of it, but I don’t think that’s sick and twisted. It was funny. Dads are going to be dads.”

On Selena Gomez: “I’m proud of the woman she is today. When you love someone that much, even if something comes between you, it’s a love that never really dies.”

On his new album: “I’m self-expressing with this album – I can’t skip on the moments that were dark, the moments that were happy, the ex-girlfriend stuff. It makes it real.”

Leah Remini Opens Up About Scientology on Watch What Happens Live!

Scientology has dominated some of Hollywood’s most elite players.  Though the “church” has been the subject of much speculation and criticism, it still draws in the attention (and money) of celebrities.

But not all celebrities are fans of Scientology.

Actress Leah Remini, who authored Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology, sat down with Andy Cohen on Wednesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live to talk about life as a former Scientologist.

In her memoir, Remini details accounts of child abuse and sexual harassment within the “religion.” And after reading about her experiences as a Scientologist, Cohen followed up with questions from both himself and viewers.

“I have follow-up questions to the book,” Cohen told Remini on the set of WWHL. ”I read it and I’m fascinated, and I know the viewers have a lot of questions.”

The Bravo executive asked Remini “how much money” she deposited into The Church of Scientology throughout the years that she was affiliated with the organization.

The King of Queens star responded, claiming that she gave $ 3 million—at least!

Cohen then asked the 45-year-old actress to expound upon other celebrities/church members who try to maintain relationships with former members.

Referring to Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ daughter Suri, Cohen said, ”For example, I’m fascinated by the Tom Cruise thing in terms of his daughter. If she allegedly left the church . . . If she’s no longer a Scientologist, then does that mean he can’t be in touch with her?”

Remini explained that the church refuses the right to maintain contact with former Scientologists.

“Well, she’s a baby. She’s a child,” Remini said about 9-year-old Suri. “She doesn’t have a choice.”

“No, but the policy of the church is you can’t be connected to someone who’s committed a suppressive act, which I have. Katie has, per church policy. You can’t be connected to that. You have to shun that particular person,” she continued.

In her book, Remini disclosed information about Cruise’s influence within Scientology.  Cohen commented that her account of how Cruise treats other was “utterly shocking.”

“He appeared to have an enormous amount of power within the church,” Remini explained.

Cohen also questioned Remini about Scientology’s other mega-celeb: John Travolta. “You didn’t mention [John] Travolta much,” he mentioned.

“He’s a very sweet man, and he loves the technology of Scientology,” Remini replied. “He’s been lovely.”

A caller during the after show asked Remini if she regrets subscribing to Scientology.

“Regrets? No, I’m here now,” she answered. “I wouldn’t be here in this moment between these two wonderful people. I’m happy that I’m here with experience.”

Leah Remini left Scientology in July 2013 because she was concerned its ideology would negatively influence her daughter.

Kristin Cavallari Tells All: Pregnancy, Therapy, and Marriage!

Pregnant Kristin Cavallari and her baby bump will grace the cover of the December/January issue of American Baby!

Cavallari and husband Jay Cutler are anxiously awaiting to meet their third child and first daughter.  But in the meantime, they admit that juggling a marriage, two kids, and a pregnancy has taken a toll.

As a result, the couple openly admits going to therapy to maintain a healthy relationship.

“I’m not ashamed to say that Jay and I consistently go to therapy, because it’s been extremely beneficial for our relationship.”

She continues, “For example, when you’re fighting you should never place blame on your partner by saying, ‘you do this’ or ‘you do that.’ You should say how those actions make you feel. It goes a long way.”

Cavallari, of course, is excited to have a baby girl.  But the 28-year-old is looking forward to her new daughter teaching sons Camden, 2, and Jaxon, 17 months, how to “better understand” women.

“She’s going to steal Jay’s heart, which will in turn melt mine!” she tells the magazine. “I’m excited for the boys to grow up with a sister. I think it will help them to better understand and respect women.”

But what a shrink can’t fix, retail therapy can.  Cavallari is looking forward to shopping for her future daughter!

She explained, “Stuart Weitzman makes the cutest baby-girl shoes! I am excited to make some girly purchases. But we’ve been lucky and have been able to use the same Restoration Hardware crib for all three kids.”

The actress and her quarterback husband are considering moving to the South.  Currently, they reside in Chicago.  But once Cutler retires, they want to relocate to Nashville—where they got married.

“Jay went to school there, and I fell in love with it the first time I went,” she gushed. “It’s beautiful, and the people are genuinely nice.”

But, for now, they are just planning on preparing for their next little one and raising their boys.

“Every child is completely different. My two boys are opposites. Camden was such an easy baby. Jaxon is more of our rebel wild child, but he’s also a mama’s boy.”

She added, “Our little girl will have her own personality. I know I can’t change who they are. It’s important to let kids be themselves and to let them make mistakes. Self-discovery goes a long way.”

The American Baby cover isn’t the first time Cavallari has shown off her baby bump.  In June, Cavallari shared a pregnant bikini pic, proudly showing off her bump and body.
