Anna Duggar: Turning to Reality TV to Save Up Money and Divorce Josh Duggar?!

Is Anna Duggar scrambling to bank some quick cash before Josh Duggar gets out of rehab so she can beat a long-overdue retreat from the cult?

That’s the subject of a new post on The Stir, which comes on the heels of previous reports that Anna Duggar will file for divorce in the near future.

The website cites Anna’s upcoming appearances on TLC’s 19 Kids & Counting spinoff, Jill and Jessa: Counting On, as proof of her big plan.

Jill and Jessa’s new show, which is actually a series of three specials, will focus on the married Duggar daughters and what they’re up to lately.

It will clearly delve into Josh Duggar and how he left the family in shambles, and some fans were surprised to see that Anna’s playing a part.

In a span of just a few months, an exposed police report exposed him as having molested four of his sisters plus a babysitter as a young teenager.

Then, he was outed as a cheater in the Ashley Madison hack, and even sued by Danica Dillon for giving the stripper/porn star rough sex PTSD.

Yes, the conservative Christian clan’s empire crumbled faster and harder than anyone could’ve imagined, but wife Anna suffered most of all.

Previews for Counting On make a big deal out of the fact that Anna breaks her silence on Josh, but it sounds like her motivation is not ratings.

Anna’s trying to bank enough money to divorce her dirtbag spouse, according to insiders, and reality TV offers the quickest, easiest cash around.

According to insiders, he is begging Anna to stay with him when he leaves his Christian labor camp/sex addiction rehab center home in Illinois.

Family patriarch Jim Bob Duggar even bought the couple a house and Josh is pushing for a recommitment ceremony. They are lobbying hard.

Yet Anna isn’t so sure, and sources close to the mom of four say she’s considering the divorce option closely, bringing us back to Counting On.

The 28-year-old reportedly “agreed to be filmed for financial reasons only,” and “her ultimate goal is to save up enough to make it on her own.”

Wow. Is it possible this is all conjecture, and she did it not just for the money but to tell her side of the story, and support her nice sisters-in-law?

Of course. The extra cash is nice whether she stays married or not, and Jill and Jessa never did anything to her. In fact, they’re said to be close.

Still, you have to wonder if perhaps, just maybe, poor Anna has seen the light and taken the first step toward making a seriously bold-ass move.

The Vampire Diaries Season 7 Episode 8 Recap: May She Rest in Peace

Death came to Mystic Falls on The Vampire Diaries Season 7 Episode 8, as the latest installment of this CW hit was filled with major mama drama.

That’s because Lily Salvatore is dead.

She had been forced to throw Mary-Louise and Nora an anniversary party after Julian promised the shindig to his quasi daughters, though Lily was still working with her actual sons to break her bond with Julian and take him out for good.

Along those lines, Stefan and Damon showed up at the gathering and were able to subdue Julian, wrapping him up in chains.

Meanwhile, Valerie opened up to her family after how Julian beat the child out of her many years ago, garnering all of their sympathies… except those of Mary-Louise.

She didn’t believe Valerie. She couldn’t get past Valerie killing Oscar and she helped Julian escape from the brothers Salvatore as a result.

She also broke the bond between Julian and Lily, unbeknownst to the latter.

So when Julian tied up Damon and Valerie and told Lily she had to pick one to kill; she had to pick her real family once and for all… Lily chose Option 3 instead and staked herself through the heart.

But it didn’t kill Julian. She didn’t know their connection had been severed.

Instead, it merely served as a misguided (albeit noble!) suicide. At least Stefan got to bid an emotional goodbye to his mother, however, while Damon essentially just cursed her off as his final words. Ouch.

Julian ran away, told Mary-Louise what happened and seemed genuinely broken up about it.

Elsewhere this week:

• Matt rounded of Enzo with the help of some mysterious friends. The blood sucker was left in the back of a truck, having been shot by many vervain-filled weapons, though we have no idea who is part of this alliance Matt has formed to seemingly bring down all vampires.


• Stefan reacted to Caroline’s pregnancy news in shock, but later called to apologize… and also to say that he loved her! He’ll always be there for her! AWWWW!


• Three years in the future, Damon was tied up at the news station. He hallucinated that his mother was the captor, the woman who is hunting down Stefan. 


• We learned in the final scene that the hunger is NOT Lily. But we still have no idea about her identity.

So there you have it. Only The Vampire Diaries Season 7 Episode 9 remains before the show takes a long hiatus and then shifts to Fridays.

Scott Weiland: Mourned by Celebrities Everywhere

All of Hollywood was taken by sad surprise on Thursday, December 3 when it was announced that Scott Weiland had passed away.

Best known as the lead singer of Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver, Weiland was found dead on his tour bus while on his way to a concert with the group Scott Weiland & The Wildabouts.

50 Cent Posts Video of Cat Slurping Vodka, "Cuz Obviously

50 Cent is in hot water after posting an Instagram video of his cat apparently drinking vodka, because of course this is a thing that happened.

The thought of 50 Cent doing something inappropriate isn"t exactly unheard of, and it"s not hard to imagine by a long shot, but this video he posted last night is a little much, even for him: he"s been working as a spokesperson for a vodka brand for a while now, and he posted a video that seems to show his cat drinking that vodka from a martini glass, and, understandably, everyone is SO MAD at 50 Cent. You can check it out right up there.

Note the caption as well, particularly the very end of it, the part where 50 claims that the cat is drinking water, not vodka. But honestly? It"s still awful. We"re not experts when it comes to cats and their liquor preferences, but it seems pretty unlikely that a cat would be so into straight vodka that she"d be lapping it up like that, but regardless of what the liquid in the glass is, he obviously wanted it to look like his cat was sipping on his stupid booze. At best, it"s just really dumb and mildly irresponsible.

Do better, OK, 50 Cent? Because it"s seriously not that difficult.
