American Idol Just Made Us Cry All the Tears

You got us again, American Idol.

We"re well aware of how you stage and sort of manipulate certain situations during initial audition episodes in order to tug at the heartstrings of viewers…

… but darn if that still doesn"t work sometimes.

And the audition of Tristan McIntosh was one of those times.

Only 15 years old, McIntosh tried out in front of Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr.

Guitar in hand, she put on an impressive performance of Mickey Guyton’s “Why Baby Why," one that earned her a ticket to Hollywood.

Before doing so, however, McIntosh told the panelists about the one family member who could not be there to support her at that time.

Her mother is a Major in the army and she was all set to retire … before she was called up to serve as a hero in the Middle East.

“It’s just a really weird feeling she’s not here for something of this magnitude,” said the 15-year-old. “I just want to make my mom proud, she’s sacrificed so much.”

Connick Jr. then read an emotional email from Tristan"s mother, but the emotion got turned up far more when the parent came out and surprised her daughter right then and there!

"Do you think I would miss this for the world?” mother told her sobbing child.

And that"s when we started sobbing, too. So did Urban and Lopez.

Check out the full audition below and then also take a look at Tristan"s competition. We must say, Olivia Rox looks awfully tough to beat.

Tila Tequila Claims She Has Robot Brain, Earth is Flat in All-Time Twitter Rant

Based on her latest Twitter rant, we believe that Tila Tequila has either lost her mind or is a consummate pro’s pro at Internet trolling.

Not only does she claim the world is flat, but the reality star says she actually died and was replaced by a clone four years ago.

At least she didn’t dress her kid up as Hitler. Well, this time.

To sum up, the 34-year-old alleges that she is actually a Russian spy who died and was replaced by a clone at some point in 2012.

That would be the main takeaway from any one else’s Twitter tirade, but this is Tila Tequila. The girl operates in her own orbit.

Speaking of which, she may not know what orbiting is, since she believes the Earth is flat and described why in hilarious detail.

It’s not clear if these thoughts are being bestowed upon us because she has a robot brain, but they are … out of this world.

So to speak. The earth is flat, the moon isn’t real because it was placed there artificially and is really spaceship. And so on.

We can’t really do justice to Tila’s tweets but here’s a sampling:

Tila Crazy Tweets

Then she demanded answers from NASA and claims she’s going there to get the scoop on the #FlatEarth once and for all, writing:

“I LIVE IN HOUSTON SO I WILL DRIVE DOWN TO @NASA SPACE CENTER MYSELF AND DEMAND THEY ANSWER MY QUESTIONS!”

Persuasive as ALL CAPS TWEETS may be, good luck getting through security. The gatekeepers of the #FlatEarth secrets ain’t playin’.

Anyway, perhaps the best moment of all of this came when she tossed out another “truth bomb” and got taken to school by a follower.

Seriously, this guy apparently attended school at some point in his reasonably educated life. Tila not so much. It’s never too late, girl.

We have no idea who he is or why on #FlatEarth he follows Tila Tequila on Twitter, but we’ll forgive him after this ultimate mic-dropper:

Robert Pattinson Goes Blue Steel for Dior Homme

According to a new report, one that we cannot verify, the engagement between Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs is off.

Along similar, segue-based lines, meanwhile, the former Twilight Saga hunk stars in a new campaign for Dior Homme Intense cologne and we"re pretty sure most females who watch it will subsequently be getting themselves off.

Sorry. Did we go too far there?

We"re just saying that Pattinson looks mighty fine while promoting this global brand.

The latest commercial for the men’s fragrance is set to the singe “All I Need” by L’Orange & Jeremiah Jae and it features Pattinson traveling the streets of Manhattan while messages materialize on multiple New York skyscrapers and landmarks.

These quotes include Life is short, Break the rules, Never regret anything, and Live as if you will die today.

So aside from looking very good, Pattinson is offering up helpful life advice. That"s why we love him!

Pattinson became the face of Dior cologne in June of 2013.

Since then he has appeared in numerous campaigns for the product, all of which makes us want to swoon.

There was the sultry short film in which the actor got quite amorous with model Camille Rowe in such places as a bathtub and elevator, as well as the one where he was smoking, snuggling and sizzling.

Feast your eyes on the latest Robert Pattinson ad below. (But be warned: you may need to take a cold shower afterward!)

T.I. and Tiny Cottle: Expecting SEVENTH Child!

T.I. and Tameka “Tiny” Cottle are expecting a new baby, and making the most of plugging the new season of their reality show as well.

“It’s going to add to a house of madness,” Tiny, 40, tells People. “A new baby, that’s something we haven’t had in seven years.”

“It’s going to be a little chaotic.”

Her husband, 35, adds, “It’s definitely going to stink the house up a little bit! But in the end, all additions make the family closer and better.”

This will be third child together and seventh addition to their blended family, which they consider all one family and for good reason.

The Atlanta-based couple, whose series T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle returns to VH1 later this year, still have a few months to go.

“I haven’t had any morning sickness, and the baby’s been moving a lot,” the Xscape singer says. “I’m having a good second trimester.”

Tiny announced her pregnancy in an Instagram video, thanking God (and perhaps T.I.) for providing “our new heir to the throne.”

True to form, T.I. is already in hype mode: “The baby’s dropping a mix tape on February 14 called ‘For the Love of Everybody.’”

“It was recorded from the belly. Y’all gonna need some special headphones, which we will also provide. You all can look forward to that!”

We’re not entirely sure if he’s kidding.

In all seriousness, he says their focus is on “staying together, staying friends, being understanding of one another and continuing to care.”

Their secret to a loving home life and thriving marriage, he says, is putting family first. Words of simple, yet profound wisdom from … T.I.?
