Jana and Jinger Duggar Spinoff Rumors: Will They Star in TLC Series Next?

Ever since TLC’s Jill & Jessa: Counting On specials, Duggar fans have wondered if the famous family would soon be back on TV officially.

When, and in what form, remain open questions, however …

TLC executive Nancy Daniels recently spoke about the potential for a spinoff starring members of the maligned, yet still popular family.

“We just aired three specials during the holidays. They did very well. The audience clearly cares deeply about these girls,” she said.

While the network brass reiterated that they are “still talking and considering” all their Duggar options, they have “not made a decision yet.”

At first it seemed like Jessa and Jill Duggar would be the most obvious choices for a spinoff, with Counting On serving as a trial run of sorts.

Says a source close to the family and production:

“The show had begun to focus on the next generation of Duggars, anyway – mainly Jill and Jessa and their marriages and babies.”

“That’s when the show got its highest ratings.”

But with Jill in Central America doing missionary work and causing one controversy after another, Jessa soon became the leading candidate.

Not only did she distance herself from the Josh Duggar sex scandals, but she has a new baby Spurgeon and a loyal social media following.

Yet it’s a Jana and Jinger Duggar spinoff that has become the subject of rumors more so than ever as filming continues in Arkansas.

Along with her twin brother John David, the 26-year-old Jana was filming with the little Duggars recently, attracting a great deal of interest.

This was not publicized by the network, but still stood out among locals and eagle-eyed fans dying to see more of “Cinderella” Jana.

Notably absent? Jessa. And her parents.

Jim Bob and Michelle, like Josh, have become radioactive over the past year, but Duggar Nation remains a significant, loyal fan base.

Might a fresh look at the family starring sweet Jana – who was featured on Counting On regularly – and Jinger make the most sense?

We wouldn’t be opposed. Just saying.

Mariah Carey: Engaged to James Packer!

It’s official; James Packer was born to be Mariah Carey’s baby.

The singer and the Australian businessman are engaged! To be married!

According to People Magazine, Packer popped the all-important question in New York City on Thursday night.

And, according to E! News, Packer did so with a 35-carat diamond engagement ring.

Yes, 35 carats!!!!

Packer (who is crazy, mega rich and who has been romantically linked in the past to Miranda Kerr) and Carey met a few years ago, but didn’t start dating until the summer of 2015.

They made their red carpet debut in September and took a vacation in Aspen last month along with the artist’s four-year old twins, Monroe and Moroccan.

Carey shares custody of those twins with ex-husband Nick Cannon, to whom she was married for six years.

Of Packer and Carey, an insider tells E! News the following:

“They fell head over heels in love with one another. It’s crazy how perfect they are together, they both know it and couldn’t be happier.”

This will be the third marriage for both, as Carey was also the wife of music executive Tommy Mottola.

Packer, meanwhile, has three kids (Indigo Packer, 7, Jackson Packer, 5 and Emmanuelle Packer, 3) with ex-wife Erica Baxter.

We send our best wishes to the couple and hope Carey was willing to change her sex schedule in order to celebrate the news.

Demi Lovato Campaigns for Hillary Clinton in Iowa

Demi Lovato will not be voting for Donald Trump in the 2016 Presidential election.

The singer made her political preference known as publicly as possible on Thursday, actually campaigning alongside Democratic hopeful Hillary Clinton in Iowa.

The 23-year-old artist joined Clinton at an organizing event on the University of Iowa campus, performing a set of three songs before nearly 2,000 adoring fans and telling the world why she’s on Team Hillary.

“I don’t think there’s a woman more confident than Hillary Clinton,” Lovato told an enthusiastic crowd.

“Now it’s time that we celebrate the real super star that’s here today.”

With the February 1 Iowa caucuses just a couple weeks away, Clinton has enlisted the support of numerous celebrities of late in order to get out the young vote.

She’s posed for a couple selfies with Kim Kardashian, while Dunham also campaigned on behalf of Clinton in Iowa a few weeks ago.

Katy Perry, meanwhile, shared the stage with HRC and her famous husband back in October, with U.S. soccer star Abby Wambach stumping for Clinton during a campaign event soon afterward.

“I couldn’t be more thrilled to be here in support of her,” Lovato said Thursday, introducing the Democratic front-runner.

“The person that is about to walk on this stage, not only am I voting for because of her beliefs, her strength and the fact that she completely embodies the concept of women empowerment.

“Last, but not least, I am voting for her because I truly believe that there is nobody more qualified to run this country, our country, than our secretary of state.”

And the feelings seemed to be very mutual.

Likely familiar with Lovato’s battle against an eating disorder and a drug addiction, Clinton gushed right back at the singer, saying:

“Demi, you have been just an extraordinary example for so many in the way that you have talked about issues that people find sometimes hard to talk about.

“You’ve given hope and positive reinforcement to so many. I’m thrilled you’re here, lending your voice and your example to our efforts to get people to get out and caucus.”

We’re just gonna go ahead and suggest it:
