19 Kids and Counting Return Sparks Anti-Duggar Backlash

Reports signaling the likely return of 19 Kids and Counting to TLC have prompted cheers from card-carrying members of Duggar Nation.

However, the backlash from the family’s growing chorus of critics has already begun, and not surprisingly, it’s as vitriolic as ever before …

It’s not clear whether TLC planned to bring back 19 Kids all along, what the return episode storyline is, or when it will premiere exactly.

What is clear is that the Duggars are trying to weather epic scandals by preaching forgiveness and faith, and that not everyone is buying it.

The New Civil Right Movement argues that 19 Kids and Counting no longer meets the “family show” standard set by the Duggars years ago.

Conservative fans who often praised Michelle and Jim Bob’s unconventional child “training” methods now deserve better, critics argue.

The Frisky is more blunt, writing: “Guess what? They’re bringing the Duggar clan back for yet another season of 19 Kids and Counting!”

“It looks like it didn’t take TLC all too long to get over the whole about Josh Duggar being a lying, hypocritical, child molesting adulterer thing!”

“Naturally, this will give the family the opportunity to again hold themselves up as paragons of Christian wholesomeness and virtue.”

Burn. Meanwhile, the Joe.My.God blog has responded to the return of the Duggars by reminding us of issues that go beyond Josh.

“It’s apparent that TLC is uninterested in the Duggar family’s vicious crusade of lies against LGBT Americans,” the website opines.

Some fans of the Duggars who were more sympathetic wondered why TLC simply didn’t boot Josh off the show and carry on as usual.

He’s the only one who did anything, right? It’s not that simple, critics believe, given that Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar failed to take action.

Not to mention, there was massive support for a Change.org petition asking TLC to take the show off the air as far back as late 2014.

The petition to cancel 19 Kids almost reached 200,000 signatures, long before Josh’s molestation and adultery scandals shocked the world.

The Duggars haven’t just upset the LGBT community, but women in general, pro-choice advocates, Catholics, and atheists in the past.

Nevertheless, it appears that the show is gearing up to return, albeit with minimal promotion or media fanfare, at least for the time being.

It’s a telling sign that TLC didn’t focus on Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar in the Jill & Jessa: Counting On specials that aired in December.

The fact that new footage reportedly features scandal-free Jana Duggar and other siblings is also emblematic of a slow, quiet rollout.

Just when we had given up on the possibility that Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian would ever get back together, it looks as though the troubled couple might be giving it another go!

Yes, Scott and Kourtney were spotted getting affectionate with one another while shopping for a mutual friend’s wedding registry in Calabasas yesterday.

Obviously, it’s not exactly confirmation that they’re back together, but given how hard Scott has been fighting to win Kourtney back, we doubt she’d send him this sort of signal unless she was at least open to the idea of a reconciliation.

And this isn’t the first sign that these two might be rekindling their romance.

Just last week, Kourtney posted a photo of Scott on her Instagram page in honor of “flashback Friday.”

Of course, these two may have to clear some major hurdles before they can start shacking up again.

In addition to the problems that caused them to go their separate ways in the first place, Scott and Kourt are each rumored to be hooking up with new celebs.

Sources say Disick is hooking up with Amber Rose, while Kourtney is reportedly back together with Justin Bieber.

So getting back together might mean sparking some new A-list feuds – fortunately that’s something that both Scott and Kourtney are used to at this point.

Blake Shelton: Proposing To Gwen Stefani on Valentine"s Day???

These two have been pregnant, planned a secret wedding and broke up several times during their three-month courtship, if tabloid reports are anything to go by.

Now, it appears they are getting engaged FOR REALS.

According to Hollywood Life, Blake Shelton is planning “a huge romantic surprise” for Gwen Stefani this Valentine’s Day.

“Blake has something super sweet planned for Gwen on Valentine’s Day,” a source told the site.

“It’s going to be a huge romantic surprise. That’s what he’s been telling his close friends.”

Shelton is currently working on his next album, and he’s been sharing photos from the studio via Twitter.

Shelton’s ex-wife, Miranda Lambert has moved on with fellow singer, Anderson East, but any thought of a future between Shelton and Stefani still stings, sources claim.

“The tears are long gone. Miranda seeing Blake having his relationship with Gwen out in the open has eventually become more of a healing process for her,” the source said.

“At first she thought he was flaunting it, but it has come to a point where she sees he is just moving on and that is exactly what she should be doing herself.

“Admittedly, though, if Blake has a child with Gwen or gets married to Gwen, that will hit a little hard.”

Tila Tequila Baby Daddy Demands Full Custody of Child

Tila Tequila is in danger of losing her only child.

According to TMZ sources, baby daddy Thomas Whitaker is seeking full legal custody of one-year-old Isabella, asking a court to put him in charge all decisions concerning the little girl.

In documents obtained by the aforementioned site, Whitaker claims Tila has delusions of grandeur, such as believing she’s God.

Tequila has certainly posted her share of unusual thoughts, messages and photos over the years.

Most recently, Tila wrote about being an alien messiah.

This rant followed a diatribe in which Tequila said the Earth was flat.

There was also the time she drew a Hitler mustache on her baby daughter. That wasn’t cool at all.

Thomas says he and Tila do not have a formal custody arrangement at the moment.

He’s asking a judge to grant him child support, and also to change Isabella’s last name from Nguyen (Tila’s actual last name) to Whitaker.

Whitaker also wants to make it illegal for Tequila to drink within 24 hours of having Isabella in her custody and illegal for her to talk trash about him to their child.

This is merely a first step for Whitaker.

Ultimately, he confirms that wants physical custody of the infant as well because his daughter would just be safer in his care.
