Demi Lovato: Is She Finally Engaged?!?

Demi Lovato has made it very clear:

She would very much like Wilmer Valderrama to slip an engagement ring on her finger.

So after the singer shared the above image of herself and her boyfriend of over six years, Instagram followers were all abuzz:

Did the actor finally propose?!?

“I love this man with ALL of my heart. #HappyValentinesDay,” Lovato wrote as a caption, adorable adding in parenthesis:

“(btw how f-cking cute is he in his polka dot button up?!!??!)”

But fans of the artist were less focused on what Demi wrote than they were on what Demi is wearing in this picture.

No, not a fur coat.

An engagement ring! Maybe!

Did Lovato bury the lede? Is that a new diamond on her finger?

Simply put… no.

So in love

Demi followed up her first picture with the second one above, noting as a message along with it:

“You are my world, my life, my best friend, my love and my purpose. I love you so much Wilmer… y’all are crazy btw… That is my RIGHT hand and my MIDDLE finger I am NOT engaged.”

So there we have it.

Last week, Lovato appeared as a guest on Ellen and told the host:

“I don’t see a ring. I wouldn’t mind if I saw one! There’s a time for everything. We’ve been together this long, so I’m not going anywhere, and vice versa.”

Fair enough.

But still: PROPOSE ALREADY, WILMER! Sheesh.

Joey Floyd Dies; Toby Keith Band Member Was 54

Joey Floyd – an actor turned musician who played multiple instruments in Toby Keith’s Easy Money Band – has passed away at the age of 54.

Joey Floyd

Floyd had reportedly been battling cancer, according to media reports.

After getting his start in the entertainment industry playing Willie Nelson’s son in the 1980 film Honeysuckle Rose, Floyd turned his attention to music.

He became a skilled banjo and fiddle player, and made a career out of it.

In addition to his time in Keith’s band, Floyd toured and recorded with several top artists, including his mentor, Nelson.

Nelson was the one who introduced Floyd to Keith in the early ’90s, and the two are said to have hit it off creatively and personally from the start.

After losing most of his possessions in the Nashville floods of 2010, Floyd devoted much of his time to helping others whose lives had been devastated by natural disasters.

Keith posted the following statement to his official Facebook page moments ago:

“Our dear friend and band member Joey Floyd passed away this morning after a long battle with cancer.”

“There will be a hole on stage and a hole in the hearts of all that loved him. Rest in peace ol’ friend.”

Floyd is survived by his wife, Laurin Floyd.

Katy Perry: Skipping the Grammys Because of Taylor Swift?

At this point, it seems that the feud between Taylor Swift and Katy Perry will never be settled.

Both women have passed up multiple opportunities to bury the hatchet, and it seems they’ve now reached the point where they’ve ceased taking shots and are simply avoiding one another.

Last week, there were rumors that Taylor would be invited to Katy’s pre-Grammys party.

Sources said Katy had decided to get Taylor’s back in the wake of Kanye West’s misogynistic diss, and offer an olive branch as a show of feminine solidarity.

Now, however, it looks like Katy and Taylor are still at war, as not only will Taylor not be attending Katy’s party (which will likely be the year’s most star-studded), but Katy is skipping the Grammys, reportedly because she knows the night will be “all about Taylor.”

We imagine it would be tough to sit in the crowd and force a smile while your peers heap praise on your sworn enemy.

So Katy skipping the ceremony isn’t that surprising, but the fact that Taylor declined Katy’s invitation is a pretty clear indication that the music industry’s sweetheart doesn’t forgive as easily as you might think.

Looks like the bad blood between these two won’t be going away any time soon.

Presidents Day Style Showdown: Lincoln vs. Washington!

Happy Presidents Day 2016! True American heroes don’t come any truer than these two … who we decided to pit against each other.

Why? To determine, once and for all, the greatest of all time. OF ALL TIME! In an epic Fashion Face-Off for the ages – sort of literally!

And the Winner is?

They were both A-plus chief executives, but which U.S. President do you love more, Abraham Lincoln or George Washington? That’s what we wanna know! View Poll »

Honest Abe and G-Dubs’ duds haven’t been popular in ages, yet by the same token, you never go out of style when you’re a titan of history.

The very first President of the United States, George Washington led the rebellion over Great Britain, then oversaw the birth of a nation.

Kinda puts the rest of our lives in unworthy perspective.

Except for Abraham Lincoln, who, four score and seven years later, delivered the Gettysburg Address, valiantly preserving the union.

Against similarly long odds, both leaders fought and delivered. In their respective eras and this one, they are true giants among men.

Ranking their achievements and legacies is impossible … but we can at least do fashion, right? So vote for the top Presidential attire above!

Then check out this gallery of a bunch of stars who have no business being POTUS, but hey, if we were forced to pick a celebrity …
