Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban Celebrate Their 11th Anniversary!
Hollywood marriages aren’t always built to last.
For a whole host of reasons, from busy schedules to way too many resources to certain temperaments to looks and wealth and rumors … celebrity relationships tend to crumble before our eyes.
So it makes sense that when you last a long time, you want to show it off. Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are doing just that with a series of adorable selfies — because they’re celebrating their 11th anniversary.
To be clear, 11 years is a long time to stay together for a regular, run-of-the-mill, non-celebrity married couple.
In Hollywood years, it’s like these two have been married for the better part of a century.
But somehow Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban (the one who isn’t Nicole Kidman) have managed it.
And they’ve done so despite major disagreements about where to live. That takes work.
Then there’s the baggage that they have.
We don’t just mean regular relationship baggage or fame baggage.
We don’t even mean the fact that the Oscar-winning actress and the Crunchy … sorry, Country music singer come from different worlds.
(Like, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are closer than ever and they also come from different worlds)
Nicole Kidman also had a famous relationship with Tom Cruise.
The rest of her life is haunted by the specter of Scientology.
She doesn’t speak about the Church, but we all know how this works.
The kids that she and Tom adopted together are still Scientologists.
They’re adults, but were Nicole to ever speak ill of the Church or very likely of Tom, she’d be declared a Suppressive Person, and she’d never get to see them.
It can be a strain to be interviewed constantly and have to give a tight-lipped smile when people ask about a subject that makes you want to scream.
And that tension from walking a verbal tightrope can impact both members of a couple.
But it looks like they’re not letting it touch them.
Also, though they’re both celebrities, there’s something of a fame disparity between the two.
Because Nicole Kidman isn’t a niche celebrity. She’s, you know, world-famous as an actress.
Toby Keith sometimes gets confused with another Country singer by people who aren’t in that particular music fandom.
Remember, Keith Urban is the one married to Nicole Kidman.
Toby Keith is the one who played for an all-male audience in Saudi Arabia.
(Toby Keith Urban is their fused state, and can fly, but they only combine in real emergencies)
But Keith and Nicole look happy and also way younger than they actually are.
Because Nicole is 50 and Keith is 49.
Does time mean nothing to these two?
Yeah, these two are really adorable.
Some other couples have lasted for a really long time, but in a world where Brangelina is divorcing, staying married means really beating the odds.
(Though rumor has it that Brad Pitt is hoping to win back Angelina Jolie, so … we’ll see how that goes)
Yeah, these are really adorable.
Also, who says that old people can’t be cute, you know?
And, not for nothing, but this is such a level-headed, grounded way of celebrating an anniversary.
As far as we know, they didn’t swim around in a champagne pool or do any other ridiculous rich people stuff.
When you’re together for over a decade, sometimes happiness with your partnership is just enough, you know?
You don’t need all of the rest.

Anita Pallenberg Dies; Actress & Longtime Partner of Keith Richards Was 73
Anita Pallenberg – actress, model, and longtime partner of legendary Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards – has passed away at 73.
Her death was announced Tuesday evening by lifelong friend Stella Schnabel.
No cause of death was stated.
Schnabel paid tribute to Pallenberg in a heartfelt Instagram post:
“I have never met a woman quite like you Anita. I don’t think there is anybody in this universe like you. No one has ever understood me so well.”
“You showed about life and myself and how to grow and become and exist with it all. I was a little girl thinking I was big but I became a woman through knowing you.”
“The greatest woman I have ever known. Thank you for the most important lessons – because they are ever changing and definitive. Like you. We are all singing for you, how you liked it. Go in peace my Roman mother, you will always be in my heart.”
Pallenberg found early success as a model and actress (she appeared alongside Mick Jagger in the 1970 cult classic Performance), but it was her personal and artistic involvement with the Rolling Stones for which she’s best remembered.
After sneaking backstage at a Stones concert in 1965, Pallenberg kicked off a tumultuous romance with band co-founder Brian Jones.
When she and Jones parted ways, Pallenberg became involved with Richards, beginning a romance that last for 22 years and yield three children.
During her time with Richards, Pallenberg enjoyed such creative influence amongst the Stones that some of the band’s best known recordings were remixed at her suggestion.
Pallenberg is credited as a background singer on the band’s 1968 classic “Sympathy For the Devil.”
Richards’ years with Pallenberg were among the most turbulent of his famously wild life.
In his 2002 memoir, Richards stated that he and Pallenberg endured a “descent into hell” together, each becoming addicted to heroin during their relationship.
“I like a high-spirited woman. And with Anita, you knew you were taking on a valkyrie — she who decides who dies in battle,” Richards wrote in the book.
Pallenberg is survived by Marlon and Angela, her two children with Richards.
The couple had another son, Tara, who died from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome in 1976.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban: What Prompted Their Biggest Fight EVER?
Nicole Kidman is an extraordinary actress and almost aggressively inoffensive.
Keith Urban is a man whose last name is at total odds with his brand.
Together, they make a sort of unexpected but usually pleasant couple.
At least, they used to, because it sounds like they just cannot reach an agreement.
According to Life & Style, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are fighting over where to live and raise their daughters, ages 6 and 8.
And, honestly, that’s such a mundane, normal total disagreement for a couple to have.
The specifics are a little off. See, as easy as it might be to forget, Nicole is an Aussie.
“Nicole wants to move back to Australia so they can raise their children among family, but Keith is opposed to leaving Nashville because his career is there,” says an insider.
Keith Urban, who we’re almost positive is a different person from Toby Keith, is also from Down Under — but likes living in Nashville.
“Keith tours at casinos and state fairs, and he performs at award shows, so he wants to stay in the States,” the insider shares. And, you know, that makes sense.
Apparently, this is testing the limits of their relationship.
“They’ve been having this argument for almost two years now. It’s taking a toll on the relationship.”
We love Nicole Kidman, but her belief that the girls would be better off growing up in Earth’s Florida has us scratching our heads.
There’s the infamous wildlife. Wasn’t there just recently an article about a man who was bitten by a spider while visiting family and lost two limbs because of it?
Forgetting saltwater crocodiles and shark attacks and venomous snakes and rule-breaking spiders that dare to be both huge and venomous, there’s magpie season, when every day is Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds and the people of Oz just sort of … accept it.
Speaking of seasons, Australia is also an overheated hellscape where “fire season” is a thing.
Even if you take out all of the dangers and discomforts — because hey, every country has their shares of those — Australians, more than any other English-speakers, have a knack for throwing out perfectly good words and replacing them with ridiculous ones.
So if you don’t want to slip on your tracky-dacks, head over to Maccas, and accuse someone of coming the raw prawn with you — which is not a sex position, we checked — then Australia may not be the place for you.
And probably not for your kids, either.
Which is not to say that we’re taking Keith Urban’s side. Nashville might have a television show named after it, but it’s not necessarily paradise.
It’s in Tennessee. We’ve been there a few times, and those times were enough. There are some lovely people, sure, but Tennessee is the answer to the age-old question: “What if North Carolina, but without beaches or swing state status or multiple world-class universities?”
But, you know, more country music.
Maybe Nicole Kidman likes country music so much that she married it, but we can see how living in Nashville might get old after a while. We can also see how she’d want her children to grow up in a different culture.
Come to think of it, maybe Nicole Kidman’s only feeling homesick for Australia because she’s not experiencing what the US has to offer. She’s wealthy and famous and could live anywhere.
Whatever they decide, Nicole’s no stranger to relationship issues.
Remember, she was married to Tom Cruise for a long while there. They adopted two kids together.
And, of course, it’s pretty clear that her relationship with those children is why she doesn’t openly criticize Tom or the Church of Scientology. If she were declared a Suppressive Person, she’d lose contact with her kids — who are still members of the Church.
That whole mess must make having a contentious fight with Keith seem mild in comparison, right?
Let’s not forget that she could have had a relationship with Jimmy Fallon. In another world, right?

Corinne Olympios: Secretly Engaged While on The Bachelor, Keith Berman Claims!
Was The Bachelor’s infamous seductress Corinne Olympios secretly engaged the entire time she starred on the ABC reality show?
That’s the (crazy) rumor of the day, coming to you courtesy of Keith Berman, a man claiming to be Corinne’s former boyfriend.
Corinne’s former fling has been outspoken since she was ousted after her hometown date, as The Bachelor spoilers accurately predicted.
While there has been recurring talk that Corinne Olympios is engaged to Keith Berman, he says that’s not true … but that she is engaged.
To someone else. Right here, and right now.
According to Berman, he hooked up two years ago with Olympios after meeting her through mutual friends, and they’ve kept in touch.
As recently as last month, he saw the 24-year-old Miami-based business owner in L.A., where she allegedly admitted her secret love life.
“She literally pressed upon the fact to me that they were still together,” he tells Us about Olympios and her longtime on-off boyfriend.
“She said to me, ‘We’re still together. I don’t want anyone to know … you have to keep this secret for me.’ And I said, ‘OK, I’ll do whatever you want."”
“That was what she had told me in person.”
Berman says Olympios wanted to keep her relationship secret because “she didn’t want people to think she was on the show for the wrong reasons.”
“I thought she was on the show for the right reasons,” he says, hilariously employing the show’s go-to cliche, “but I guess I was wrong.”
(Personally, we thought she was there for the fame and the Fantasy Suite sex with Nick, which she amazingly didn’t get, but no matter.)
Moreover, Berman claims that not only his Corinne in a relationship, but that her alleged boyfriend called to yell at him for running his month!
Berman writes of the online altercation that ensued:
“He figured out [that we hung out] two years ago and [more recently than that]; and they’ve apparently been dating/together for 3 years.”
“So you do the math, he thought she cheated on him. Or at least that’s what I thought he was mad about when he was yelling at me on the phone!”
“(Mind you they weren’t supposed to be in contact!)”
Keith then addressed Corinne personally, saying:
“Your Bachelor stint was a complete sham and now the whole town knows it! You HAD A FIANCÉ THE ENTIRE SHOW!
“You FAKED THE WHOLE THING!”
“I’ll spare the internet the details,” he says, despite the fact that he is doing the opposite and proving the Internet many, many details.
“Because there’s no need for another kid to get dragged through the mud and bothered by the press as well.”
“But trust me,” Berman assures us, “I know exactly who her mystery man / real ex boyfriend / fiance is!”
Olympios’ response to all this is simple.
“I’m not engaged,” she says.
“I don’t know [why these rumors are out there]. I’m hearing so many different things. It’s just that people love to talk, I guess.”
“Are you kidding me? This is getting so ridiculous. I’m getting fed up with all these rumors. Especially the rumors about Keith Berman.”
Corinne says that she is not currently dating and could be open to appearing on Bachelor in Paradise, which obviously needs to happen.
In the meantime, Nick Viall will choose a Bachelor winner among Vanessa Grimaldi and Raven Gates on Monday night’s season finale.

Corinne Olympios: Engaged to Keith Berman?!
Corinne Olympios is still the star of The Bachelor, despite having been eliminated by Nick Viall after her hometown date two episodes ago.
Case in point: Her rumored, upcoming marriage to ex Keith Berman. Yes, already. Or so the Internet would have you believe …
As The Bachelor spoilers predicted, the 24-year-old took over the entire season, becoming one of the franchise’s most famous contestants.
Naturally, fans are dying to know what she’s been up to since getting dumped by Nick, and with Corinne, nearly anything seems possible.
She’s cultivated that kind of reputation so far in 2017.
One rumor suggested that she and Nick were still banging on the side, while another suggested she was engaged to ex Keith Berman.
Yes, it’s a busy life in the spotlight post-Bachelor.
Corinne’s response to either could be summed up in three letters: LOL. “No. I’m not engaged. Are you kidding me?” Olympios said.
“This is getting so ridiculous,” Corinne said.
“I’m getting fed up with all these rumors.”
We don’t believe for a second that she’s sick of the attention, but we also don’t believe Corinne actually got engaged to someone already.
Keith, who claims to be one of Corinne’s ex-lovers and even wrote a blog post about their past hookups, said of her a few weeks prior:
“Soooo all you girls are wondering is Corinne actually batshit crazy in real life? Well, I had a little fling with Corinne two years ago.”
And? Do tell, Keith!
“Let me be the first to say she’s got you all eating out of the palms of her hands… You think Corinne doesn’t know exactly what she’s doing?!”
“HA! She’s been playing this game her whole life,” he said, and that part we 100 percent believe. “Now she’s just doing it on national TV.
According to Berman, he met the 24-year-old seductress / business owner a few years ago in her hometown through a mutual friend.
He says they hooked up “a couple times” and have since “stayed in touch,” and claims they spoke as recently as a few weeks ago.
Berman has high praise for Olympios, calling her a “f–king superstar right now” and saying that The Bachelor is “right up her alley.”
“She’s got a great personality for it. I was pumped that she was on it. I knew she would kill it, honestly,” he says of Corinne.
Keith acknowledged the “exaggerated representation” of her shown on ABC, calling her mostly “very normal” but “playing it up for TV.”
“They’re trying to portray her as some stupid girl, but she’s really not that dumb. She knows exactly what she’s doing.”
“She’s a very good-looking girl, and she’s just aggressive. She’s very aggressive, and when you’re that good-looking of a girl?”
“Most guys aren’t going to turn a girl that looks like that down? She knows how to play up her sexiness. Nick is into it, and she knows.”
Corinne responded to this to E! News, telling them:
“Keith Berman and I literally, literally are zero.”
“Never were anything, never anything.”
“He is the last person on the planet that I ever thought would have a media scandal,” Olympios adds, implying that he’s out for attention.
“These rumors with him have got to stop,” she says, and only in the life of Corinne would this not be the consensus crazy rumor of the week.
In addition to the engagement talk, she also takes issue with “the rumor about me seeing Nick post-show and having sex with Nick post-show.”
“That is just stupid… Who comes up with this bulls–t?”
“The last time I saw [Nick] was the day he put me in the limo,” Olympios insists, referring to the unceremonious aftermath of her hometown date.
Again, it’s not that crazy, given that Corinne admits she had sex with Nick while on the show, but we’re guessing this is faux incredulity.
All we can say is that the Internet comes up with a lot of things, and there’s no way she’s actually upset about being kept this relevant.
After all, she’s working on a new clothing line that will include T-shirts and bathing suits, and any publicity has to help with her sales.
Right? Corinne (and Corinne’s nanny) needs to get paid at the end of the day, and Keith was clearly right about one thing if nothing else:
She’s known exactly what she’s doing.
Corinne explained to E!: “I’m totally focused on my clothing line. I’m super focused on getting it. I have July deadlines and I am just hustling.”
Get it, girl. Get it.

Toby Keith: Darn Right I"m Performing at Donald Trump"s Inauguration!
For fairly obvious reasons, Toby Keith is rarely compared to Nirvana.
But there’s finally a reason to write about the country music artist and the iconic rock band in the same sentence.
And that’s because Keith has a simple response to anyone giving him grief for performing this weekend at Donald Trump’s Presidential Inauguration:
NO APOLOGIES!
The country music star is maybe the biggest name to have signed on for this controversial event, which will take place on January 20 in Washington, D.C.
Very few major acts want to be associated with the 45th President of the United States, with Keith having received a great deal of flak for agreeing to take the stage.
Not that he seems bothered by the criticism.
“I don’t apologize for performing for our country or military,” the artist told Entertainment Weekly late last week, explaining further:
“I performed at events for previous presidents [George W.] Bush and [Barack] Obama and over 200 shows in Iraq and Afghanistan for the USO.”
That is certainly one point of view.
We can see how some singers out there view performing at the inauguration as a patriotic act that represents the country and the democracy more than one single man.
But we can also see how many stars simply see this as an exception.
We can understand their hesitance to support Donald Trump in any way, shape or form.
Keith will be joined at the celebratory concert by 3 Doors Down, Lee Greenwood, Jackie Evancho, The Piano Guys and the Frontmen of Country, according to an announcement posted on the Presidential Inaugural Committee site.
Broadway actress Jennifer Holliday was also scheduled to perform, but published a letter on Saturday that said she felt a need to pull put.
In her statement, Holliday apologized to the LGBTQ community for agreeing to perform in the first place, calling the initial decision a “lapse of judgement.”
Trump, meanwhile, is well aware that artists are refusing to take his stage.
But he’s claimed on Twitter that not only isn’t he bothered by their absence… he doesn’t want them anywhere near him anyway!
“The so-called ‘A’ list celebrities are all wanting tickets to the inauguration, but look what they did for Hillary — NOTHING,” Trump tweeted in December, adding:
“I want the PEOPLE!”
We guess Toby Keith isn’t a person, based on this line of reasoning?
Trump, of course, has other things to worry about these days than who will or will not perform in D.C. later this week.
Such as accusations that he really is a puppet for Russia and/or talk that he will violate the Constitution on his first day in office due to his many business conflicts.
But, like Keith, Trump doesn’t seem too upset by the insults and threats being hurled his way.
Nor by the lack of well-known stars who went to perform on his behalf.
“Inauguration Day is turning out to be even bigger than expected. January 20th, Washington D.C. Have fun!” he recently Tweeted.
