If you’re an Eminem fan, you probably know that the rapper’s relationship with his ex-wife Kim remains, um … complicated, there’s no ambivalence in Em’s feelings toward his beloved daughter Hailie.
In songs, in interviews, and in his famously infrequent social media posts, Slim Shady has been effusive in his praise for the smart, beautiful and ambitious daughter he and Kim raised.
Hailie recently graduated from Michigan State University (Yes, Eminem’s daughter is a college graduate. You’re old, ’90s kids.), and it seems that — like so many other young people entering the workforce — she’s not quite sure of which direction to take.
Of course, the 22-year-old has a few advantages over her peers.
In addition to the support of a wealthy and world-famous father, Hailie enjoys massive popularity on Instagram, where she’s amassed an astonishing 937,000 followers.
And fortunately, she entering the real world at a time in which “popular social media person” is considered a viable career path.
Hailie recently sat for her first major print interview, and she opened up to The Daily Mail about her plans for the future.
“I’m not sure yet, it’s kind of up in the air, still,” she told the outlet.
“People have been reaching out through [Instagram], as I don’t have any [management],” she added.
We’re no experts, but we’d like to go ahead and offer Haile a bit of free career advice:
Tell your dad to get you a manager!
Hailie was then asked if she’s been approached about any modeling work, and she gave this less-than-encouraging reply:
“Not so much [by] magazines, but companies who work with them.”

Hailie says what she really wants to do is be an “influencer” like her idol, Kim Kardashian, which might actually be easier than breaking into the modeling big-time.
Of course, if she takes Kim’s path to fame, Marshall will wind up serving life in prison for murdering some wannabe Ray J.
Currently, Hailie is dating fellow MSU grad Evan McClintock.
“Marshall was just hitting the big time at the age Evan is now, making headlines for his shocking lyrics and toxic relationship with Kim,” says a source close to the family.
We can only hope for the sake of Em’s sanity that Evan’s not an aspiring rapper.
There’s nothing worse than someone spitting freestyles at you at the Thanksgiving dinner table.
Asked if she sees her dad often, Hailie replied, “Of course, we are very close.”
Fortunately, Em is rich enough that just being his daughter qualifies as a career.
