Jax Taylor: I"m Finally Gonna Kick James Kennedy"s Ass!
Over the past two seasons of Vanderpump Rules viewers witnessed two very perplexing inverse trends:
For some reason, as James Kennedy’s behavior became even more deplorable, he somehow came to enjoy greater popularity with his castmates.
For the third season in a row, Kennedy behaved abusively toward women, disrespected his relationship with his long-suffering girlfriend, forced unwanted advances on a female friend who’s made it very clear that she has no interest in him romantically, and of course, stabbed his “friends” in the back as part of his never-ending quest for more screentime.
The situation was so bad that by midseason, fans were calling for Kennedy to be fired from the show.
And yet, not only is he still an employee of both Bravo and Lisa Vanderpump, he’s been rewarded for his behavior with increased popularity among his older co-stars, who should really know better.
All season, viewers have been warning the rest of the cast that James is sure to eventually remind them of why he was kept at arms’ length for so long, but for whatever reason, they ignored the pleas for sanity.
As a result, on the Vanderpump reunion finale that aired last night, James was on good terms with the entire cast – except for Lala Kent, whom he sent running from the stage in tears.
Of course, the reunion was taped several weeks ago, and change is the only constant in the lives of WeHo’s drunkest posse of ex-models.
So it should come as no surprise that Jax Taylor has since seen the light and once again considers James his mortal enemy.
As you may recall, the show’s latest season began with the revelation that Jax cheated on Brittany Cartwright with Faith Stowers.
In the months that followed, Jax and Brittany worked hard to save their relationship, and recently, their reborn love was tested and strengthened by the death of Taylor’s father.
So you can see why Jax’s infidelity might not be the couple’s favorite topic of conversation.
And yet knowing all that, James decided to sing a song about it the incident in front of a packed club.
“I had many one too many of the Pumptinis last night and I brought up the whole Faith thing again… over the mic,” Kennedy said during a recent podcast interview.
“I was just like, ‘Oh hey, you banged Faith, remember?’ I just reminded everyone and I didn’t know Brittany was in the room at the time.”
At that point, Tom Sandoval interjected and pointed out that that version of events is a bit too charitable to James:
“I heard that you were like, ‘Jax and Faith! Jax and Faith!’” Sandoval said.
“If Scheana said that, then maybe I did that… maybe. But I apologized this morning. I said, ‘I’m sorry’ to Jax. He’s still very angry with me,” James said, adding:
“I made a little mistake last night. Perfect timing since filming starts in two weeks. I must say. You gotta keep it spicy somehow!”
Of course, what James calls “spicy” others might call “the further victimization of a woman who’s already endured a tremendously difficult year.”
We bet you can guess which category Jax falls into:
“Brittany went in to go see him and say hi Tuesday night at SUR. He literally gave her a hug, she walked maybe four feet away, and he started rapping a song called Jax and Faith. And Brittany started bawling her eyes out,” Jax revealed on a different podcast.
“Crying, embarrassed in front of everybody at SUR and she had to be escorted out. She was literally mortified.”
He added:
“How could you do that to somebody and literally look her in the face and start rapping about this? It’s on, and sh*t’s going to come out about you, and I’m not going to hold back.”
As you can see, Jax has been tweeting about the incident in such a way that’s led fans to the conclusion that he’s planning to finally unleash the ass-whupping that James so richly deserves.
When one Twitter user implored Jax to relax and reminded him that James isn’t worth going to jail for, Taylor replied, simply:
“Yes, he is.”
So it’s bad news for James, who may not have much time left on this earth.
But it’s great news for fans of Vanderpump drama, as well as haters of generic, repetitive EDM.

Michael Abraham: Tyler Baltierra Lies! I Never Tried to Kick His Ass!
Last week, Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra appeared on Kailyn Lowry’s Coffee Convos podcast for a surprisingly candid interview that touched on a wide range of topics.
The portions in which Catelynn and Tyler discussed their desire to have another baby rightfully received the most attention, but there were plenty of gems hidden throughout the episode.
Take for example, Tyler’s account of his fight with Michael Abraham, father of former Teen Mom OG star and A-list cam girl, Farrah Abraham.
After describing Farrah’s family as “a whole different breed” (an apt statement, if ever there was one), Baltierra claimed that Michael challenged him to a physical fight on the set of a TMOG reunion special.
“Michael is actually a very interesting character,” Tyler said on the podcast.
“I never actually told anybody this but he physically got in my face and wanted to fight me about two reunions ago!”
Not one to take anything lying down (unless it’s verbal abuse from his daughter, in which case, he smiles and asks for more), Michael issued a statement to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, in which he offered his side of the story:
“The reason why Tyler ‘never actually told anyone’ is because it NEVER HAPPENED,” Michael wrote.
“Everyone knows that if that would have happened the production company and MTV would have aired it as a public relations stunt. The world knows that MTV films everything and everybody at all reunion shows.”
We hate to say it, as Michael is generally not to be trusted, but that’s a pretty solid argument.
As for Tyler’s claim that the on-set security pushed Michael onto a couch, Abraham says that scuffle only took place in Tyler’s mind:
“I have NEVER been pushed down on a couch by security at any reunion show filming,” Michael wrote.
“The only time reunion security had to do anything with me physically was when they were protecting me during the time that Matt Baier attacked and assaulted me three reunion ago.”
Ah, yes. Who could forget the famous Farrah vs. Amber fight?
It really wasn’t all that long ago, so it’s pretty funny that Michael is acting like it’s just preposterous that anyone in his family would throw down in the presence of Dr. Drew.
Anyway, Killer Mike goes on to actually praise the Baltierras, and he claims that over the years, he’s formed a close relationship with both Tyler and Catelynn.
“It’s a shame that Tyler and Cate have to make up stories like this,” Michael’s statement continued.
“The last time I was face-to-face with them I shook his hand and hugged her to mend our relationship after the strain that Matt’s assault on me caused between everyone on the show.
“I’ve also gone to the extent of complimenting him (Tyler) as being an excellent father this last year repeatedly on social media as he cared for Nova during the time Cate was in rehab.”
Michael concluded his lengthy commentary on the matter by claiming that he and Tyler are two peas in a pod.
We’re guessing Ty won’t be taking that as a compliment:
“Tyler and Cate’s dad Dave are just like me– we will do anything to love, care and protect our daughters,” Michael said.
“It’s so sad that even after we (Farrah and her family) have moved on and have wished everyone the very best, the hate from others continues and there is no valid reason for it.”
He added:
“We are extremely happy and living our lives in a healthy and positive way, why can’t everyone else do the same?”
Hmm … a surprisingly non-psychotic-sounding statement from a usually psychotic source.
Of course, Michael has successfully convinced himself that Farrah freakin’ Abraham is an ideal daughter, so it’s important to bear in mind that the man suffers from some pretty severe delusions.

The Voice Recap: The Battle Rounds Kick Off!
The Battle Rounds are a go!
On Monday’s episode of The Voice, it was time for the lucky people who made it through the blind auditions to be benchmarked against each other.
In true The Voice fashion, some of the pairings were random and felt very one-sided.
But let’s break down the six battles of the night.
Team Alicia: Sharane Calister vs. Jamai – “Mercy”
Sharan proved in her audition that she was a force to be reckoned with, and she did not disappoint during her battle with Jamal.
Her vocals were solid, and she definitely had the upper hand on Jamal throughout. For Jamal, it became clear that charm can only help you skate by for so long.
Winner: Sharane
Team Kelly: Brynn Cartelli vs. Dylan Hartigan – “…Ready for It?”
This battle was close as hell. Brynn and Dylan had very different auditions, so there was no way to tell pre-performance which one of them would win.
The battle was high-octane and filled with moments that were memorable. That’s why it was good one was saved, while another got a reprieve.
Winner: Brynn
Steal: Dylan to Team Blake
Team Blake: Kyla Jade vs. JessLee – “One Last Time”
Giving both of these women an Ariana Grande song to tackle was a downright bizarre move that made us wonder whether Blake even cared about their progression.
Kyla struggled to make it her own, and she was clearly still acting like a backup dancer. JessLee sounded much better, so it was mind-boggling that Kyla advanced.
Winner: Kyla Jade
Team Adam: Rayshun LaMarr vs. Tish Haynes Keys – “Sweet Thing”
If you asked us before the performance, we would have said that Tish would have emerged from the battle as a winner.
But Rayshun appeared on the stage, and his voice had definitely improved somewhat from his previous performance.
It was a tight race to the finish line, and we had no idea who was going to emerge as the winner.
Winner: Rayshun
Steal: Tish to Team Kelly
Team Alicia: Christiana Danielle vs. Shana Halligan – “Use Somebody”
There was really no competition here. Christiana’s vocal range was something Shana could only dream of hitting.
There would have been outrage if Shana secured the win.
Winner: Christiana
Team Kelly: D.R. King vs. Jackie Foster – “Sign of the Times”
Things took a wild turn when D.R. King went to battle with Jackie Foster. This was the best battle in quite some time.
D.R. came out smelling of roses while Jackie was solid, but not strong enough to win this round.
Winner: D.R. King
Steal: Jackie to Team Adam
