Cheyenne Floyd: Teen Mom Fans Will Love Me Even Though I"m a Fraud!
Cheyenne Floyd is just weeks away from turning 26, which puts her on par with a number of Teen Mom OG stars.
Unlike her new co-stars, however, Cheyenne did not actually become a mother as a teenager. She became a mother when she was … 23.
Now, she is addressing the backlash about that, and explaining why fans will agree that Cheyenne belongs on the show.
Speaking to Us Weekly, Cheyenne Floyd says that part of the reason that people are bristling at her casting is simple semantics.
“I think that a lot of people are stuck on the word,” Cheyenne laments.
That word, of course, being teen. She’s a grown woman who was never a teenage parent who is now getting paid a lot of money to appear on Teen Mom OG.
Cheyenne admits that, but says: “and at the end of the day I’m still young mom.”
“I still have the same struggles,” Cheyenne explains. “And I’m still learning just like everyone else.”
“I don’t think 23 is the ideal age to have a baby,” Cheyenne points out.
It very rarely is. Your body might be at its healthiest, but even if you’re mega-rich, you’re still young and living your life. Also, your brain isn’t quite done maturing.
“She was unplanned,” Cheyenne says of her young daughter. “So in other ways, other than me not being a teen, I have different things that you can relate.”
Most viewers of Teen Mom OG are not, themselves, teenage mothers and never were.
“So instead of me screaming all day long that I’m not a teen mom,” Cheyenne concludes. “I’d rather just talk about things that I am.”
Cheyenne shares that fans and viewers can expect to learn a lot about her and her baby daddy, Cory Wharton.
“Prior to doing Teen Mom, we kept everything to ourselves as far as what happened,” Cheyenne says. “So it’s going to be really interesting to see what the viewers think after they find out.”
That … will depend upon what viewers find out, we suppose.
“We’re good,” Cheyenne says of their relationship as co-parents. “We’re best friends.”
“We work together with everything and put everything into Ryder,” she adds. “So we have a good relationship.”
“They have a different kind review about Cory,” she says of doubtful fans.
“And,” Cheyenne continues. “They haven’t seen me on TV since I did The Challenge and I literally had the baby right after.”
Cheyenne is definitely not overexposed, that’s true.
“So it will be interesting to see what they think about is his parents,” she says.
“And,” Cheyenne concludes. “We’re excited to show our healthy coparenting relationship.”
Cheyenne is controversial for more than just that. See, people accused her of racism due to some old tweets that resurfaced when her casting news broke.
Tweets attributed to Cheyenne expressed a desire to kill white people and particularly to kill white babies, and also said something about being a nazi.
While anti-white sentiments aren’t necessarily racism (in that they’re not systemic and function as empty words, which is not true for genuine racism), those tweets were disturbing.
Cheyenne promises that she’s not racist and says that she shared the Twitter account with others. More importantly, the heinous tweets were made years ago.
Will she be able to overcome this baggage and endear herself to fans? We’ll find out in October.

Teen Mom Young & Pregnant: Renewed For Season 2 Even Though No One Watched It!
Remember when MTV showed music videos?
Ha! Of course you don’t; that was literally forever ago.
But you might remember a time when the network showed something other than round-the-clock Teen Mom with the occasional Catfish thrown in.
Well, those days are officially over, as MTV is now one step closer to celebrating bad decisions on a 24/7 basis,
According to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant — aka the spinoff no one asked for or seemed to have any interest in — has officially been renewed for a second season.
If you’re keeping score at home that brings the total number of 16 and Pregnant spinoffs to a whopping 79.
Just kidding, it’s four. But still …
The fact that some exec looked at the channel’s current lineup and said, “What we need? More unfit mothers!” is truly baffling.
But hey, TV is TV and ratings will always be the name of the game.
Which is one reason why the Young and Pregnant renewal is so unexpected.
The show had a very difficult time finding an audience in its first several weeks on the air.
Things turned around later in the season, but with more original content on the air than ever before, TV execs are much less likely to give struggling shows a second chance these days.
Adding to the surprise is the fact that the series is already having problems with disgruntled cast members.
Earlier this week, Young and Pregnant star Ashley Jones bashed producers on Instagram, accusing them of manipulating footage to make her look like a bad mom.
“The whole season I was edited to look like a monster,” Jones wrote.
“Joining this show was by far the worst decision of my life.”
She added:
“No trust for the producers or anyone else that works on the show and knows the kind of person that I am but says nothing to editing.”
Producers are used to that kind of talk from the likes of Jenelle Evans.
But Jenelle has been consistently delivering big ratings for over a decade.
Ashley, on the other hand, is much newer to the business and much more inconsistent in the ratings department.
It’s not hard to see how producers may have decided that Jones and fellow hot-tempered cast member
“A crew is up there with Ashley and will be filming throughout this week,” a source tells The Ashley.
“All the girls will be either starting to film or continuing to film over the next few weeks.”
The insider adds that while their exact salaries remain a mystery, the girls all got raises — and the second season is usually when the big money starts rolling in:
“Generally, for the other Teen Mom shows, the pay jump from Season 1 to Season 2 has been the most significant jump,” \
Man, those MTV PSAs about the downsides of teen pregnancy are getting less and less convincing by the day!
(Note to high school kids: We’re joking. Getting pregnant will almost certainly not make you rich.)

Ben Affleck & Lindsay Shookus: Planning a Wedding Even Though He"s Still Married?!
It’s been almost a year since the world first learned that Ben Affleck and Lindsey Shookus are dating, and these days, the couple is reportedly ready to take the next step together.
Unfortunately, there are some sizable barriers blocking their path.
According to a new report from Entertainment Tonight Lindsey is seeking a commitment from Ben, who seems hesitant to pop the question.
But to his credit, there’s a very good reason for that:
“Lindsay and Ben are very much in love,” a source tells the outlet.
“During Ben and Jennifer [Garner’s] split, Lindsay truly felt villainized. Every day she spent with Ben out in the world for people to see felt like another day of public scrutiny, but her love for Ben was worth it,” the insider adds.
“They both learned to stick by each other during those painful months.”
See, therein lies the issue.
The source makes it sound like Affleck and Garner’s split was an ugly chapter in their lives that’s now over and done with.
But the fact is Ben and Jen still aren’t divorced.
Yes, despite the fact Affleck and Garner have been separated for three years, they’re still legally married.
We’re sure that’s primarily because of legal and financial entanglements, but still …
Lindsay probably isn’t too thrilled about the situation.
The insider adds that Ben and Lindsay are planning to spend their lives together, but have thus far avoided any public discussion of marriage:
“Ben has worked incredibly hard on his sobriety and Lindsay has been his rock. He will be forever grateful for all her love and support,” says the source.
“They are both constantly being asked if they are planning to tie the knot, but for now they taking it one day at a time.”
It’s good that he’s taking his recovery seriously, but we can’t help but think Ben’s leaning pretty hard on that “but, babe, my sobriety” excuse:
“Ben knows he loves Lindsay, but he wants to take things slow for the sake of his sobriety. He’s actually been told to take it slow and he’s heeding that advice,” the insider claims.
“Ben isn’t ready to propose and has no plans to get engaged anytime soon, but Lindsay feels he is worth the wait.”

Thomas Ravenel to Ashley Jacobs: I"m Gonna Dump You! (Like a Gentleman, Though)
After Southern Charm star Thomas Ravenel was accused of sexual assault by two different women, many fans of the show wondered if girlfriend Ashley Jacobs would soon dump him.
Instead, Ashley has seemed to double down on their relationship.
But a new report says that Thomas is gearing up to dump the woman who remained by his side. Wow.
A source tells RadarOnline that Thomas Ravenel and Ashley Jacobs are ready to split.
The source reports.”The romance between Ashley and Thomas is over.”
The alleged final straw? Ashley appearing at the Southern Charm reunion without Thomas after Bravo disinvited Thomas from attending.
(Odd, because she went there to defend him, but so little about romance and the ensuing breakups is fully rational)
It sounds, however, like this source is reporting that they haven’t actually, officially, broken up just yet.
But it sounds like it’s just a matter of time.
“Thomas is ready to breakup with Ashley,” the source reveals.
Gosh. Does she know yet?
The source simply adds: “The relationship has run its course.”
Well, that sure sounds final.
Reportedly, it was seeing their romance on Southern Charm as it aired that helped him to make up his mind.
Whenever this alleged breakup goes down, it doesn’t sound like it’s going to be very public.
“Thomas is a gentleman,” the source says, though some would say that this characterization has, well, run its course.
“So he’s not going to humiliate her when they break up,” the source explains.
Wait, is not humiliating your significant other the standard for gentlemanly behavior, now? Because most people who aren’t Arie Luyendyk Jr. would qualify.
“But he is at his breaking point,” the source continues. “And ready to end things.”
Hey, that happens sometimes.
And the signs have been there, some argue, for a while.
Arie used to post a lot more photos of Ashley. He’d upload one after the other to his Instagram.
Now? Well, see for yourself in that gif above how many photos you have to slide through to find that one of the two looking cozy.
You see his ex, his kids, his mom, and even Snoopy the fictional dog before you get to Ashley. In a photo from May 18.
But that might not be a sign that the end of their relationship is nigh, exactly.
It may be that Thomas is simply trying to soften his public image after the accusations of sexual assault.
Fewer photos of him drinking with his girlfriend, more photos of him as a father and family man.
Not a terrible strategy, all things considered.
Now, this whole situation gets a little weirder.
According to RadarOnline‘s insider, Thomas Ravenel has already “told Kathryn that he wants out of the relationship.”
Kathryn Dennis is not just Thomas’ costar and she’s not even merely his ex.
She is the mother of his children.
We’ve all seen Ashley Jacobs’ insane verbal attack on Kathryn on Southern Charm. The cast was appalled at Ashley and at Thomas for not saying anything.
(They did praise Kathryn for keeping cool)
But RadarOnline says that one of the factors that got Thomas to decide to end things with Ashley was watching the season as it aired. Sometimes, seeing yourself in the third person can help make things clear.
Isn’t it kind of weird that he’s doing the dumping, though?
Thomas Ravenel is accused of raping two different women, one of whom was Nanny Dawn, who used to take care of his children.
Charleston police are investigating and so is Bravo, but plenty of women would have distanced themselves from an alleged sexual predator.
Instead, he’s reportedly aiming to break things off.
It’s odd.

The Teen Mom 2 star is in the news often these days now that his MTV series is back on the air, so he was a popular interview subject on the red carpet of the OK! Summer Kickoff Party.
In a revealing Q&A with the sponsor tabloid, Marroquin opens up about the three women in his life:
- Ex-girlfriend Briana DeJesus.
- Ex-wife Kailyn Lowry.
- Current lover Lauren Comeau.

1. A Trip Back in Time
The new season of Teen Mom 2 was filmed months ago, meaning Javi is only just starting dating Briana on camera, a relationship that came as quite a shock to Kailyn on the opening episodes.
2. Exploiting the Chaos
And MTV has wasted no time in playing up this awkward situation, having already released backstage footage of Briana, Javi and Kailin going at it outside the latter’s dressing room. Watch the above video to see what we mean.
3. But in Reality?
Or in current times, we should say? Javi took us by surprise by providing us with an update on where he stands with both his ex-wife and his ex-girlfriend.
4. A Lot on Javi’s Plate
“It’s so hard right now because we’re kind of reliving it all [on the new season], and obviously me and Briana are no longer together,” Javi explained to OK!. “Kail sees our side with what me and Briana we’re talking about, so it hurts her. I gotta deal with her, and deal with the world, and the audience seeing it.”
5. Out with the Old?
Where do things stand with Briana? They look perfectly content these days on TV, but… “We don’t talk,” Javi said at this event. “It is what it is. No hard feelings.”
6. Is Briana Equally Chill About This?
