Lincoln Adim is a Liar, Bachelorette Producers Harshly Allege!
Becca Kurfin claims she fell in love with two men on her current season of The Bachelorette.
But that predicament is nothing compared to the one producers of this show now find themselves in after word spread on Wednesday of Lincoln Adim’s past run-in with the law.
Lincoln is a suitor on Season 14 and, as of this past Monday’s episode, is still in the running for Becca’s heart.
You’ll need to visit our section of The Bachelorette spoilers in order to learn just how far he advances in the weeks ahead – but you only need to scroll down a little bit in order to learn the trouble Lincoln has gotten into.
In May of 2016, Adim sexually accosted a woman on board a cruise ship.
We don’t even need to use the word allegedly in this case because he was actually convicted of this illegal action two years later, just a few days before The Bachelorette premiered.
Press Secretary Jake Wark of the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office has said that Lincoln has to register as a sex offender for his behavior, while stating the following in regard to his conviction:
The judge ordered him to stay away from the victim and attend three Alcoholics Anonymous meetings per week during those two years.
If he complies with the judge’s orders, he will not have to serve out his term, but if he fails to comply with those orders or re-offends, he could be ordered to serve out the year behind bars.
This was and is clearly a pretty big deal.
So the natural next question to ask is this:
How the heck did Lincoln get approved for the show?!?
How were producers unaware of his assault charge and subsequent conviction?
Simple, they now say in response:
Because Lincoln is a liar!
In a statement released by the press in response to this new Bachelorette scandal, the studio behind the ABC reality series says the following:
“No one on The Bachelorette production had any knowledge about the incident or charges when Lincoln Adim was cast, and he himself denied ever having engaged in or having been charged with any sexual misconduct.”
Well… yeah, right? No d’uh!
Of course Lincoln would deny this.
Why didn’t the team behind The Bachelorette use all the resources at their disposal to find the truth themselves?
Continues this production company statement:
“We employ a well-respected and highly experienced third party who has done thousands of background checks consistent with industry standards to do a nationwide background check in this case.
“The report we received did not reference any incident or charge relating to the recent conviction – or any other charges relating to sexual misconduct.
The statement concludes:
“We are currently investigating why the report did not contain this information, which we will share when we have it.”
Fair enough. We’ll be curious to read it.

Lincoln Adim, Current Bachelorette Suitor, Convicted of Assault
Another week, another Bachelorette-based scandal.
And we’re not talking this time about who Becca Kufrin kissed and/or who she sent home on the latest episode of this ABC hit.
Instead, we’re talking about more scandalous behavior by one of the men vying for the heart of this season’s Bachelorette.
Following the reveal that Garrett Yrigoyen had shared many gross and inappropriate Instagram messages not long before he was cast on Season 14, we can now report that Lincoln Adim was convicted of indecent assault and batter…
… mere days before the new season premiered last month.
The conviction took place on May 21, with the Suffolk County District Attorney’s office saying that Adim – who remains on the show through Episode 4 – groped and assaulted a woman in May of 2016.
He was ultimately given two years probation for these acts.
Press Secretary Jake Wark of the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office has said the following to the media about what transpired with Lincoln in this case:

So… a current suitor on the current season of The Bachelorette may face prison time for his inappropriate and illegal actions on board a cruise with a fellow passenger?!?
This is NOT a good look for the series.
Former Bachelor contestant Ashley Spivey wrote on Twitter Wednesday that she was disappointed in ABC and The Bachelor for permitting Adim on the program.
“I am honestly horrified that Lincoln,who was charged with indecent assault and battery, was allowed to go on the show,” wrote Ashley, adding:
“I do not understand how a serious crime like this was missed during background checks.”
It’s a pretty good question, isn’t it?
Spivey did later qualify her stance.
She said that she doesn’t think ABC purposely let someone with this history on the series; she doesn’t think this was some ratings ploy.
She just chalks it up to negligence instead.
“Let me be clear that I do not think production would ever allow this for drama purposes,” added Spivery.
“I really think it is a huge problem for whoever does the background checks into the contestants.”
By law, the district attorney’s office adds of Lincoln, without providing exact details of what the reality star did, “he is expected to register as a sex offender.”
Yikes.
Last month, Yrigoyen apologized after garnering backlash for Liking offensive posts on social media that mocked the transgender community, a Parkland high school shooting survivor, undocumented immigrants and more.
Kufrin came out and defended Garrett in the wake of this scandal.
“I want viewers to be open to everyone, and I want them to go through this season with me and watch my love story unfold with all of these men,” she said a few weeks ago. “Because that’s how I went into this journey.

Yes, we realize that styles popularized by Abraham Lincoln and George Washington haven’t been popular with the mainstream in ages.
Like, ages. Industrial Revolution style.
By the same token, when you’re a titan of history, you never go out of style, are we right?! If you got you a national monument, ‘nuff said.
Take the first President of the U.S., George Washington. He led a rebellion over Great Britain, then oversaw the birth of a new nation.
Four score and seven years later, Abraham Lincoln valiantly preserved and paved the way for a more perfect union against long odds.
Overcoming similarly huge obstacles, redefining what was possible and then fighting to preserve it, both patriots delivered for America.
In their respective eras and now, giants among men.
Ones who make all of our lives seem more than a tad mundane and pointless all of a sudden. Kind of sad if you stop and think about it.
Anyway, comparing achievements and legacies by people in such rarefied air is impossible … but we can at least pick a fashion winner.
Would you rather rock George’s 18th Century Colonial garb or Abe’s 19th Century Civil War-era attire? Talk about the toughest of calls.

Kailyn Lowry: Taking Son Lincoln Away from Javi Marroquin?!
Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin … well, they have quite the complicated relationship.
More complicated than your average young divorced reality stars, even.
The thing with Kailyn and Javi is they just go back and forth so much — one minute they love each other and the next they can’t stand each other.
Just to break down how insane their relationship is, they split up sometime towards the end of 2015, right before Javi’s deployment.
Around this time, they both slept and/or had relationships with other people, though Javi still held out hope that they’d be able to work things out.
He came home in the summer of 2016 and she’d packed his bags for him because she was most definitely done with him, but he still wasn’t ready to end things for good.
He kept visiting her, and one point he even broke into the home they shared together, scaring her oldest son, Isaac, in the process.
Around this time, Kailyn began sleeping with a college friend, Chris Lopez, and she became pregnant.
She also got a protective order against Javi, because as she explained it, her behavior frightened her.
The order didn’t last too long though — she lifted it when she realized that they wouldn’t be able to attend their son’s soccer games at the same time.
And even through all this, it was clear that he still had feelings for her.
Like, did you see the guy’s face when he met her new son, little Lux, on Monday night’s Teen Mom 2 season finale? He looked heartbroken to see how thoroughly she’d moved on.
The whole thing is just the biggest mess that ever was.
Oh, and in the middle of all this, right before Kailyn became pregnant with another man’s child?
They filmed a season of Marriage Boot Camp together. Like you do.
Though we’re coming up on the one-year anniversary of their divorce becoming finalized, their season of Marriage Boot Camp is currently airing, and it’s been pretty tough to watch.
When they arrived at the house, they explained that they each had different reasons behind filming the show.
Kailyn wanted to learn how to coparent with Javi for the sake of their son Lincoln, but Javi wanted to try to work things out romantically with her.
It’s made for an interesting dynamic, to say the least.
He seems way more invested than she does, and she seems way angrier … it’s not good.
And in this new clip from the show, things reach a boiling point.
In the clip, we see Kailyn telling some of her cast members about a fight she and Javi just got into over Lincoln.
“He comes out of the shower,” she says, “and he’s like ‘You’re graduating this year and you want to move to Atlanta, why does Lincoln have to go with you? I think he should stay with me."”
That’s a lot of information real quick, right?
This was filmed last fall, and Kailyn graduated back in the spring with a degree in mass communications. She still lives in Delaware, but she has said that there aren’t many job opportunities for her there.
Recently she’s talked about purchasing a condo in L.A., and she has flown to Atlanta just this month, but there hasn’t been talk of a permanent move like the one referenced here.
And honestly, with three baby daddies all living in Delaware, we have a hard time imagining a big move in her immediate future.
But back to Marriage Boot Camp.
Up in his room in the house, Javi is furious, and he’s planning on leaving the house.
(Though another cast member laughs and explains that “if Javi can have Kail in the house without her being able to leave, Javi’s not going anywhere.”)
Kailyn says that she told him to just go away because she didn’t want to talk about it, but “he keeps pushing me, ‘well, I just think he should be with me, like why does he have to be with you?"”
Meanwhile, Peter Gunz tries to convince Javi to stay in the house, but he tells him “Either they’re gonna take me to the airport or I’m gonna get a cab.”
Kailyn says that their fight got so bad that she walked out on it, and he told her “F-ck this, f-ck you, you’re a piece of sh-t.” And that’s when he decided to leave.
Specifically, he decided to leave for Guatemala.
In a chat later — it looks like he didn’t go to Guatemala after all — Javi explains that he got so upset because he was “exhausted,” that it was hard being around Kailyn all the time.
What a bunch of drama, right?
Again, this was all filmed a year ago, so we know that they’ve managed to get on much better terms, which is wonderful.
But we still don’t know if Kailyn is planning on taking her kids and moving to Atlanta or L.A. or wherever, and that was the issue that started this fight to begin with.
So it looks like the drama isn’t over yet!

Kailyn Lowry Shares ADORABLE Photos of New Baby with Isaac and Lincoln!
Look, we all know that there’s a lot of stuff going on with Kailyn Lowry right now.
She just gave birth to her third child, all three kids have different fathers, she’s not romantically involved with the new baby’s dad … we know all that.
But while sometimes it’s fun to get into the drama, how about, just this once, just even for a few moments, we set it aside?
Instead of focusing on Kailyn’s questionable decision-making skills or how active Chris Lopez is going to be with this baby, why don’t we just focus on the positive aspects of this situation?
After all, there’s a seriously precious new baby in the Teen Mom universe, and that’s certainly something worth celebrating!
Although Baby Lo still doesn’t have a name, we know that he does have some killer hair.
And thanks to some new photos Kailyn shared, we also know that he’s got two big brothers who look very excited to welcome him into the world:

Isaac and Lincoln just look so thrilled to have a brand new baby brother, and as for Baby Lo himself …
He’s almost too adorable.
A lot of Kailyn’s followers are also pointing out that little Baby Lo looks quite a bit like Isaac did when he was a baby, and we can see the resemblance.
Which is lucky for him — Isaac has to be one of the cutest kids in the world, hands down.
In addition to having two doting big brothers, Baby Lo also seems to be enjoying breastfeeding!
“Shout out to breastfeeding moms!” she tweeted yesterday. “I forgot about cluster feeding. This mom is tired.”
Then, a little later, she asked her followers “What’s bigger, pregnancy appetite or nursing appetite?”, which leads us to believe that Kailyn is currently living her life with a baby on her breast and snacks in her face.
As for the baby name, she explained that she still hasn’t decided on one — which is fair. It’s a big decision.
“Isaac said the name Murphy was ‘eh, ok… for a dog,’ and also suggested Francis. Lunc is still adamant about naming baby Lo ‘Climber,"” she wrote.
We have to agree with Isaac on both of his thoughts, and Climber Lowry-Lopez has a certain ring to it too, doesn’t it?
But it does sound like she’s considering a more realistic option.
One of her followers suggested the name Milo, and she responded with “Yes! That one keeps coming back to me!”
She does have some time though — in Delaware, you have ten days after the baby’s birth to choose a name for the birth certificate.
Whether she goes with Milo (which actually is very, very cute) or Climber or Francis or something different entirely, what a lovely little family she has here.

Javi Marroquin: See His Adorable Magazine Cover with Son Lincoln!
For a good long while now, even before the divorce, Teen Mom 2 fans have been split into two camps: Team Kailyn and Team Javi.
Surprisingly, it seems like the vast majority of people — like, we don’t want to say all, but it might be all — are on Team Javi.
These people have created a “poor Javi” narrative, all about how Kailyn was never kind or warm to him, and when he was overseas, fighting for his country, Kailyn stayed at home and cheated on him and broke his heart.
And to be fair, some of those are some solid points, but even Javi will say that both he and Kailyn contributed to the ultimate destruction of their marriage.
But the point is that when it comes to Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin, most people seem to take Javi’s side.
And those people will be absolutely thrilled to see his latest move.
He landed a magazine cover, y’all!
That’s Javi with little Lincoln on the cover of Posh Kids, looking dapper as dapper as can be.
In the accompanying interview, he revealed quite a bit of information about his split from Kailyn and how he handled it, as we heard yesterday.
When he returned home from his deployment, he said, he was an “angry person,” and “everything was still raw and still so new, and I was in a bad place.”
He seemed to put at least a little bit of blame for the divorce on MTV, explaining that filming “adds stress,” but “MTV doesn’t hold a gun to your head.”
Everything that happens on the show, Javi explained, “it’s what we say, and it’s what we do … I’m not going to attribute the show to the fail of my marriage.”
“I think we both made decisions and some were right, some were wrong and that is what ultimately lead to the end of our marriage.”
So while he says “I think I could have handled it a lot better than what I did,” he still has a ton of people supporting him.
He shared the magazine cover on his Instagram, and the comments were quickly flooded with sweet, positive messages from his fans.
His followers were quick to tell him how gorgeous he was, and how handsome both he and Lincoln look in the photo.
Several women asked if he was single — he just broke up with Real World star Madison Walls, so depending on how fast he moves, there’s a good chance he’s available.
The only issue people had with the cover was that they wished Javi’s former stepson, Isaac, would have been able to be in the photo as well.
And we agree, it would have been nice, but either way, looking good, Javi!
