Kourtney Kardashian has won.
She’s won by a large margin, too.
We say this because Kourtney isn’t just featured in the latest issue of V Magazine.
She’s featured in the latest issue of V Magazine without a shred of clothing covering her body.
We’re talking naked. Totally and completely and 100% naked, so much so that we can’t stop staring at the following photo without thinking:

Kourtney, of course, is not known for posing in this sort of fashion.
But to don her full birthday suit? That’s more the domain of sister Kim or maybe Kylie.
“What I tend to prefer in my everyday style feels more natural and understated, but I love when I have the opportunity to play with makeup and have fun with it,” Kourtney tells V, adding:
I think this shoot… was the perfect situation to try some new stuff.
“I’ve lately been in a mood to try more things with makeup and hair, and I personally have even more fun with it when I have a reason.”
The reason, in this case, is to promote her makeup collaboration with Kylie, which launches on April 24.
“We decided to do three eyeshadow palettes and a lip to go with each palette,” says Kourtney of the upcoming cosmetics line, adding:
“And then came the packaging, which is also completely different from what we originally imagined last year.”
Kourtney turned 39 years old this week, but you can tell by the nude photo above and the bicycle photo directly above that she isn’t feeling her age.
She’s having more fun than ever before, in fact.

In the latest issue of this iconic publication, however, Christina Aguilera puts a unique twist on this naked theme:
She poses for a handful of extreme close-ups, all of which involve not a hint of makeup on her face.
Yes, that really is Christina Aguilera above and below, revealing almost more of herself in this manner that even Kim did three and a half years ago — or Nicki Minaj did when she got down and dirty in Paper.
Just consider:
How many times have you seen a celebrity’s butt or boobs?
It’s not all that rare, is it?
Okay, now consider: How many times have you seen a celebrity with no lipstick, mascara or eye shadow anywhere on her face?
It’s far less frequent, isn’t it?
Why did Aguilera take this bold step for Paper?
“I’ve always been someone that obviously loves to experiment, loves theatrics, loves to create a storyline and play a character in a video or through stage,” she explained to the magazine, adding:
“I’m a performer, that’s who I am by nature.
“But I’m at the place, even musically, where it’s a liberating feeling to be able to strip it all back and appreciate who you are and your raw beauty.”
Aguilera became known over the years for often changing up her appearance, going from a style that oozed sex appeal when she first struck it big to one that was a lot more retro in the 2010s.
“I can’t stay in a stagnant place for too long, which is why I think the position I was in with television just became very stifling,” she told Paper, referencing her six-season stint on The Voice.
She continued:
“I need movement, I need to go explore, be an artist, create and transform.”
But that doesn’t mean the artist doesn’t see herself as an innovator.
“Be fearless in breaking new boundaries and don’t be afraid to go against the grain of criticism along the way,” she tells Paper.
Isn’t she afraid of what people are gonna say about her online?
“There’s always gonna be those trolls out there or people that have their own definition and ideals of beauty, but I think we’re progressing to a place of pushback and more people coming out.”
This is an impressive display of self-confidence on Aguilera’s part, both her photos themselves and her affiliated quotes.
The star just hope she pass along similar traits to her three-year old daughter.
“I don’t want to inject too much upon her as to how I’m choosing to live my life and what I’ve done in my career,” Aguilera says, concluding:
“I just hope I can allow what I’m doing to influence her to be her own person. That’s truly what I hope for her.
“I really want to make sure my children are both very confident in the sense that they know who they are and that they won’t be easily swayed by outside opinion.”

Each week, this Bravo series just pits one spoiled rich white woman against each other, as one First World Problem after another is discussed and dissected in nauseating detail.
Doesn’t mean the program isn’t entertaining.
It’s just… very white.
This likely explains the outcry by some on the Internet in response to Edmonds being featured on the latest cover of Latina Magazine.
The reality star, who is pregnant with her second child, at least seems to recognize that she isn’t the typical main subject of this particular publication.
First, she shared the following image on Instagram:
Then, she included the following caption along with it.
“I’m so proud and honored to be on the cover of @latinamagazine1 and represent @glamarella_jewelry!” wrote the cable network personality, adding:
“I loved doing this shoot right after I found out I was pregnant! No, I’m not Latina but I was asked to be on the cover and talk about my life and #RHOC in the cover story so I guess I’m blessed to be an honorary Latina this month!
“(By the way, big shout out to my husband for my engagement ring that got a front and center shot!)”
Ah yes, an “honorary Latina.”
It’s safe to say this cover shoot and this phrase didn’t sit well with readers of the magazine.
“Dressed up the nice white lady to look like a Latina for Latina magazine because?” wrote one dissatisfied Internet user.
“This is the same as black facing only for Latinas now! What a fail.”
Not exactly, of course. It would maybe the same if Edmonds’ skin was darkened or she was wearing a sombrero or something.
But general point still taken.
Other critics laid into Latina for putting “white privilege” on display, while another person chimed in with:
“This is beyond disappointing and such a slap in the face to the ENTIRE community. Shame on you!”
This magazine does consistently feature prominent Latinas such as Demi Lovato, Jennifer Lopez, Paulina Rubio, Jessica Alba, Shakira, Eva Longoria, Salma Hayek, Eva Mendes, Christina Aguilera, Naya Rivera, America Ferrera and even Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor.
The November 2015 issue featured girl group Fifth Harmony, whose three out of five members are Latinas, marking the first time two non-Latinas were featured on the cover of the magazine.
So this was a trend that started a couple years ago.
