Lamar Odom: Friends Fear He Will Relapse Soon

It’s no surprise that he has an addictive personality, and until he commits to recovery, it’s unlikely that Lamar Odom can drink alcohol without the risk of wanting to use drugs.

A bold statement, I know.  

I’m no addiction specialist, but I’m familiar enough with it to know that temptation is a nasty, nasty beast.

After an overdose at a Nevada brothel nearly killed him, Lamar Odom has made incredible strides in his recovery.

Odom has appeared on the last few episodes of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and viewers notice that he doesn’t seem 100% there.  

Even in February, when Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian tried to explain to him what happened while the entire family was in New York for Kanye West’s fashion show, Odom didn’t seem to fully grasp how grave is condition had been.

“Since the Vegas overdose, Lamar’s mental faculties have been really messed up,” a source told Radar Online.

“Lamar is mentally unstable. He doesn’t know what he is doing.”

What’s worse, he’s “drinking in public and at home too,” the source added.

“It seems like he doesn’t even understand that he can’t drink or do drugs again.  It’s like he forgot how close he was to death, and just thinks everything is fine again.

“But it isn’t, and everyone is really scared about him.”

The source explained that Odom does have a team of men around him “at all times to make sure that he doesn’t go overboard,” but the former NBA star “just doesn’t listen.

That, combined with the fact that he’s not sure where he stands romantically with Khloe Kardashian make things very confusing.

“Everything is up in the air for him,” the source said. 

“Lamar’s friends and business associates know he’s a mess right now. They want him to go to rehab before it is too late, but he just won’t listen,” the source said. 

“Everyone is worried about him. They’re afraid he will do drugs or drink too much and that will really kill him.

Sinead O"Connor Reported Missing, Possibly Suicidal, Sources Claim

According to TMZ, singer Sinead O’Connor has been reported missing after going on a bike ride in Chicago Sunday morning and failing to return.

The site reports that O’Connor has been classified “missing suicidal” by Chicago police, who reportedly received a 911 call from a concerned friend of Sinead’s this morning.

O’Connor has a history of erratic behavior, and troublingly, she’s displayed suicidal tendencies in the past.

Just last year, O’Connor left a suicide note for her family to find, and was eventually hospitalized to be treated for a number of mental health issues.

While she was reportedly stable for several months after being released, O’Connor’s condition seems to have worsened recently.

Those closest to O’Connor say she’s been deeply disturbed ever since the death of Prince, her longtime friend and mentor.

Her mourning was apparently exacerbated by O’Connor’s bizarre public feud with Arsenio Hall, whom she claims provided drugs to the late pop star.

Currently, O’Connor is being sued by Hall, after she publicly blamed the comedian for Prince’s death.

There is no word on the specifics of O’Connor’s disappearance, but those closest to the 49-year-old are said to be deeply concerned.

A police bulletin reported that O’Connor was dressed in a black parka and black leather pants, and riding a motorized bike.

Insiders say the singer is not familiar with the suburb of Wilmette, where she was reportedly last seen.

While the neighborhood where she is believed to have disappeared is a relatively safe one, authorities and loved ones are reportedly concerned about O’Connor’s capacity for self harm.

The police bulletin indicates that anyone who sees O’Connor should contact the Chicago PD.

Cheryl Cole: Did She Leave Her Husband For Liam Payne?!

Cheryl Cole may not be a household name on this side of the pond, but in her native UK, the former girl group member is as well known for her tumultuous love life as for her music.

Now it seems she may be reliving her pop star glory days by hitching her wagon to Liam Payne’s star:

Yes, multiple sources have confirmed that Cheryl and Liam are dating, and it seems just about everybody is weirded out by the relationship.

One issue that seems to be troubling some folks is the couple’s age difference.

Cheryl is 32; Liam is 22, and while a decade is certainly nothing to sneeze at, it’s worth noting that few would have a problem with a man dating a woman who was ten years his junior.

The more legitimate concern is the fact that Cheryl is still married.

Yes, Cole got hitched to Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Vessini in 2014, but it seems the relationship quickly crumbled, presumably under the weight of all those hyphens.

Interestingly, Cheryl and Jean-Bernard made their public debut at the Cannes Film Festival – just as Cheryl and Liam did this week.

It’s not clear how long Liam and Cheryl have been an item, but sources in Cole’s camp insist her decision to end her marriage had nothing to do with Payne.

The couple is reportedly on high awkwardness alert, as Cole’s husband is also in attendance at the iconic film festival:

“Cheryl would have loved to have skipped Cannes this year but her work schedule wouldn’t permit it,” says one source.

“She will be doing everything she can to avoid [Jean-Bernard].”

That sounds like a good idea.
