Mac Miller: Home Cleaned, Purged of All Drugs After Reported Overdose, Police Believe

On Friday, the world lost a great talent. Mac Miller passed away at 26 of an apparent drug overdose.

Police seem confident that Miller died of an overdose, but when they searched his home for drugs, they found almost nothing.

They believe that someone or several someone’s cleaned Miller’s home, removing all evidence of drug use, before they had a chance to investigate.

According to TMZ‘s law enforcement sources, Mac Miller’s home was swept for drugs, which were all removed in the immediate aftermath of Miller’s passing.

Police believe this for three reasons.

One, police were unable to find any drugs in the home of a man who is believed to have died from an overdose — a man who is known for substance abuse problems.

Two, police have apparently spoken to a number of people who were in Miller’s orbit, which apparently made them more certain that his home was “tidied.”

Three, they very reasonably have a hard time imagining that Miller removed all drugs from his home before his alleged overdose.

Not only did the police search fail to find drugs (for the most part), they also didn’t turn up any pill bottles or drug paraphernalia.

(Plenty of homes of people with no substance abuse problems have old pill bottles lying around at the back of a cabinet somewhere, so that’s definitely odd)

Apparently police did find a “tiny” amount of white powder.

It’s unknown who may have cleaned Miller’s home for him, though people were at his house on Thursday night as well as on Friday when someone called 9-1-1.

Police report that no one has said that they saw Miller alive after Thursday night.

It is entirely possible that someone thought that they were doing Miller or his loved ones a favor by scrubbing his house clean of evidence of his drug use.

For all that we know, he may have asked a friend to do just this if he ever overdosed.

Worst case scenario, however, he appears to have overdosed because of some flaw with the drugs in his possession, and someone took everything so that his death could not be traced to them.

We hope not, but that is precisely the reason that law enforcement needs to be able to look at all of the evidence when someone dies.

You might think that you’re doing someone a favor, but you may just leave their grieving loved ones with more questions and less closure.

Miller was found unresponsive in his Studio City home at around noon on Friday, September 7.

A friend called 9-1-1, asking for immediate assistance for a patient in cardiac arrest.

Tragically, Miller was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical responders. He had been scheduled for a video shoot later that very day.

Miller’s history of substance abuse was no secret. Earlier this year, Mac Miller’s DUI hit-and-run resulted in his arrest.

Years ago, Miller opened up about his substance abuse issues through music, admitting to an addiction to a combination of promethazine and codeine known as “purple drank.”

Mac Miller’s death is absolutely tragic. Unfortunately, the narrative that immediately followed his passing has also been heartbreaking.

Awful trolls blamed Ariana Grande for his death.

Suggesting that she should never have broken up with him, or at least not found happiness when she moved on, people actually sought to fault his ex.

In reality, Miller’s substance abuse problem was a huge factor in Ariana’s decision to break up with him in the first place.

The right narrative is that it’s tragic for such a talented young man to die at 26.

Addiction is almost certainly to blame.

We hope that investigators, even working without all of the evidence that they might like, will be able to provide closure to Miller’s family, friends, and fans.

Sylvester Stallone Reported Dead; Actor Claims Otherwise

According to a number of social media accounts out there, Sylvester Stallone is dead.

The veteran actor has passed away from prostate cancer, one Twitter user has alleged, writing online that Stallone kept his illness a “secret” for as long as possible…

… but, in the end, was unable to “beat” the terrible disease.

Along with this claim, the same Twitter user included photos of Stallone seemingly going bald, presumably from chemotherapy.

Here’s the thing, however:

Stallone has come out and shot down this allegation, responding on his own Twitter page that he is, in fact, alive.

Sharing the initial report, along with the aforementioned pictures, Stallone wrote the following as a message he REALLY hopes can make its way around the Internet quickly:

Please ignore this stupidity… Alive and well and happy and healthy… Still punching!

RIP Sly

We’re pretty sure the Creed sequel is filming at the moment, which may explain why Stallone is missing most of his hair in those disturbing snapshots.

Even if they are not from the star reprising his iconic role of Rocky Balboa, they may be taken from a different role Stallone is shooting for the big screen.

Or perhaps Stallone’s hair really is falling out.

The important point to remember here is that Sylvester Stallone is alive.

In case you don’t believe Sly himself, the actor’s younger brother, Frank Stallone, also took to social media to slam this hurtful gossip.

He didn’t really see the humor in the death hoax.

“Rumors that my brother is dead are false,” wrote Frank, adding:

“What kind of sick demented cruel mind thinks of things like this to post? People like this are mentally deranged and don’t deserve a place in society.”

We agree.

Oddly enough, this isn’t the first time a rumor about Stallone’s demise has surfaced online.

In September of 2016, talk of Stallone having been found dead at his Los Angeles home circulated all over Facebook.

We’re just happy neither of these claims proved to be accurate.

For one thing, we don’t wish death of anyone.

For another, we’re psyched for Creed 2.

And for another, if Stallone can’t throw on some stars-and-strips shorts and defeat a steroid-using Russian boxer who killed his best friend… there’s no hope at all to solve this latest version of the Cold War.

Terry Crews Reported His Sexual Assault to the LAPD

As more and more everyday folks and celebrities alike share their #MeToo stories, one of the most powerful revelations came from an unexpected source: Terry Crews.

Terry Crews’ story of sexual assault was eye-opening to many. If a tall, muscular, male celebrity and athlete could be groped and still fear to fight back or speak out, how do people imagine that women feel in that situation?

Well there’s good news when it comes to Terry Crews — the police are investigating.

Do you guys watch Brooklyn Nine-Nine?

Terry Crews has been in other things, from Old Spice ads to playing the pro wrestler in Idiocracy, but Brooklyn Nine-Nine is one of the best comedies on television.

On it, Terry plays a character who, despite his size and strength, is a nurturing family man with a strong sensitive side and who is wholly unafraid to stray from hypermasculine gender norms.

In other words, Terry Crews plays a character very similar to himself.

Terry Crews was a football player, but before that, he was an art student and is a genuinely good artist. He’s also been quick to eschew toxic masculinity and to support women.

We mention this because Terry Crews is a genuinely good person, and it’s important to know that — even though no one, even bad people, deserve to be sexually assaulted.

After the Harvey Weinstein rape accusations came to light and countless women began sharing their #MeToo stories, Terry Crews tweeted and shared his own story of being groped by a man in the entertainment industry at a party.

This happened in public (it was at a party) and in front of his wife.

As a general rule, you want to be really sure that you have permission before you touch someone else’s genitals.

You might be thinking “oh, it’s a nice surprise,” but you’re basically gambling on the hope that they’ll be pleased.

Just because a lot of folks like having their junk touched doesn’t mean that it’s welcome as a surprise or that you, specifically, have permission to do it.

And that goes for butts and boobs and really any part of their bodies.

The man whom Terry Crews accuses of groping him is Adam Venit, an agent for William Morris Endeavor, who headed the talent agency’s motion picture department.

We say that he headed that department, past tense, because Venit has been placed on leave.

Well, there’s good news, folks.

Terry Crews has filed an official report with the LAPD about his sexual assault.

Describing it all to police can be more difficult, in some ways, than sharing your story with the world.

But it’s an important step.

As satisfying as it might be to see, say, Kevin Spacey scrubbed from a film or to see various famous dirtbags lose their jobs — Harvey Weinstein’s wife left him — only by going to the police can we hope to send these alleged rapists to prison.

Terry Crews isn’t the only one whose brave accusation could lead to real, legal consequences for the accused.

The LAPD is investigating Harvey Weinstein for rape, which could lead to something a lot realer than a stint in rehab, which essentially amounts to a one-week vacation with some therapy.

Gossip Girl actor Ed Westwick is under investigation for rape after an actress came forward, and now another actress is sharing a chillingly similar accusation about him.

Fear of consequences — of being victim-blamed, of being ridiculed, of not being believed, and of being deliberately blacklisted by powerful predators — has maintained a culture of silence around Hollywood and elsewhere for far too long.

The more that brave people share their #MeToo stories, the sooner that we can shine a light upon the evil in our midst. The sooner that we can make ourselves better as a society and as a cutlure.

Ohio State University: Active Shooter Reported on Campus

A frightening situation is underway in Columbus, Ohio.

According to local authorities, at least seven people have been taken to a hospital after an active shooter was reported on the campus of Ohio State University.

It is not known at this time the type of injuries nor conditions of those transported.

Ohio State University

The school’s emergency management department sent out a Tweet about an hour ago that alerted students to the ongoing situation.

It urged them to take shelter, to be safe and to fight back if necessary; and it gave them an idea of where the shooter had been spotted.

“Active Shooter on campus. Run Hide Fight. Watts Hall. 19th and College,” read the first message.

It was followed a few minutes later by: “Continue to shelter in place. Avoid area of College. More information to follow.”

osu tweets

Around 10:20 a.m., the department wrote once more: “Continue to shelter in place in north campus area. Follow directions of Police on scene.”

Watts Hall, one of the locations referenced above, is the university’s materials science and engineering building.

Ohio State senior Anthony Falzarano has already been in contact with CNN, telling the network that he was in class at the time of the shooting.

“We heard a lot of sirens. I was in class and everyone got a text message at the same time for the emergency alert,” the 22-year old said.

“Someone said they heard popping right before we got the alert, but I didn’t hear it. We are in a shelter-in-place right now in the building next door.”

A spokeswoman for the Columbus Fire Department confirms that two people are listed as stable at Grant Medical Center and two others are at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

However, their status is unclear.

NBC Nightly News reports that the FBI, Columbus Police and other agencies are helping the Ohio State University Police on campus.

Courtesy of social media, here is a look at authorities gathered on the scene:

Among others, Ohio Governor John Kasich have taken to Twitter to address the situation.

“Ohio’s thoughts and prayers go out to the Ohio State community. Be safe, listen to first responders,” wrote the former Presidential candidate.

Added Ohio Senator Rob Portman said:

“My and Jane’s thoughts and prayers are with the Ohio State community. Please be safe and listen to our first responders.”

Ohio State University’s main campus in Columbus is one of the largest in the United States. It played host to a major college football game against the Michigan Wolverines on Saturday, which the Buckeyes won in double overtime.

The university has more than 65,000 students enrolled across the state.

Sophomore Wyatt Crosher has also been in touch with CNN.

He says heard gunfire (maybe “three or four gunshots”) that he thinks came from a class building across the street from his dorm.

Students have been told told to keep their distance from this area while authorities investigate.

Jack Black Reported Dead via Twitter!

Jack Black has been reported dead… but read on before you start with the tears.

The comedian was apparently the victim of a hoax pulled by hacker who busted into the Twitter account of Tenacious D, Black’s band.

Early on Sunday, a disturbing tweet from the account was sent.

“I’m sad to officially announce the death of Jack Black at the age of 46, rest in peace brother,” read the post.

Shortly thereafter, a second tweet reading simply “#RipJackBlack” was issued.

And to make sure it seemed super believable, the hacker sent a third tweet:

“It is with a heavy heart I am to announce that Jack Black passed away last night at 3:37am. The cause of death is yet unknown.”

After a number of media outlets reported the alleged death, the criminal finally came clean.

“Calm down guys! It’s just a prank bro, look there’s the camera,” he or she wrote, adding,  “The Legend is still alive, it is ok guys :)”

And then, unbelievably, the a-hole took a stab at self-promotion.

“While you are all on Twitter, you should all follow me @Ruthless”

If any of you were in fact considering following this person, sorry, the account has been suspended.

Tenacious D has resumed control of the account and the death tweets have been deleted. The band sent a message clarifying that the whole ordeal was nothing but a terribly unfunny hoax.

“WE had our Twitter account hacked. We can assure you that Jack is ALIVE and WELL and that this was a sick ‘prank,"” they tweeted.

Last we heard from Black, he was starting up some shiz with Leonardo DiCaprio, but that quickly fizzled out, as we’re sure this scandal will as well.

Sinead O"Connor Reported Missing, Possibly Suicidal, Sources Claim

According to TMZ, singer Sinead O’Connor has been reported missing after going on a bike ride in Chicago Sunday morning and failing to return.

The site reports that O’Connor has been classified “missing suicidal” by Chicago police, who reportedly received a 911 call from a concerned friend of Sinead’s this morning.

O’Connor has a history of erratic behavior, and troublingly, she’s displayed suicidal tendencies in the past.

Just last year, O’Connor left a suicide note for her family to find, and was eventually hospitalized to be treated for a number of mental health issues.

While she was reportedly stable for several months after being released, O’Connor’s condition seems to have worsened recently.

Those closest to O’Connor say she’s been deeply disturbed ever since the death of Prince, her longtime friend and mentor.

Her mourning was apparently exacerbated by O’Connor’s bizarre public feud with Arsenio Hall, whom she claims provided drugs to the late pop star.

Currently, O’Connor is being sued by Hall, after she publicly blamed the comedian for Prince’s death.

There is no word on the specifics of O’Connor’s disappearance, but those closest to the 49-year-old are said to be deeply concerned.

A police bulletin reported that O’Connor was dressed in a black parka and black leather pants, and riding a motorized bike.

Insiders say the singer is not familiar with the suburb of Wilmette, where she was reportedly last seen.

While the neighborhood where she is believed to have disappeared is a relatively safe one, authorities and loved ones are reportedly concerned about O’Connor’s capacity for self harm.

The police bulletin indicates that anyone who sees O’Connor should contact the Chicago PD.

We’ll have further updates on this story as more information becomes available.

Chyna: Cause of Death Reported as "Possible Overdose"

Yesterday, WWE icon Chyna was found dead in her Redondo Beach home.

She was  45 years old.

In the 24 hours since the news of her passing went public, there has been considerable speculation about the cause of Chyna’s death.

Currently, little is known about the wrestler and actress’ final days, but it’s been rumored that friends and family were not surprised to learn of her passing.

Insiders say Chyna (real name Joanie Laurer) frequently acted erratically toward the end of her life, and according to one unidentified friend, she “seemed under the influence” on the rare occasions when she left the house.

Now, new details have emerged which may shed light on the cause of Laurer’s tragic passing.

First, a video of Chyna rambling and sporting a black eye emerged online:

Shortly thereafter, several media outlets reported that Chyna’s cause of death was reported as a “possible overdose,” thus somewhat confirming the suspicions of her loved ones.

The results of Chyna’s autopsy and toxicology report will not be released until next week, and the authorities were careful to note that no cause has been determined as of yet:

“Officers arrived on scene and discovered a deceased female inside the location,” Redondo Beach police Sgt. Shawn Freeman said in a news release Thursday.

“There are no indications or signs that the death was a result of foul play. From the preliminary investigation, it appears that the deceased passed away prior to being discovered by the friend.”

“Possible overdose” was a description in the report taken by an officer at the scene, but Sgt. Freeman noted in his statement that authorities have yet “to determine if the death was natural or accidental.”

We’ll have further updates on this story as more information becomes available.

Michael Cavallari, Older Brother of Kristin Cavallari, Reported Missing Since Thanksgiving

Kristin Cavallari’s older brother, Michael Cavallari, has been reported missing for 10 days now, according to multiple media reports.

He hasn’t been seen since the Friday after Thanksgiving, Nov. 27, after his car was found abandoned on a highway in Eastern Utah.

According to the Grand County, Utah, Sheriff’s Office, his 2014 Honda Civic was found five miles south of Interstate 70 and exit 175.

Authorities searched the area but have not located the driver.

Investigators have looked at the registration, credit card receipts and surveillance from the area to confirm that Michael was the driver.

The Grand County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement that it is treating the disappearance as an active missing persons investigation.

Just days after Michael went missing, Kristin Cavallari shared a post on Instagram about skipping her 10-year high school reunion.

To take care of her baby girl, Saylor. No mention of her brother.

The former member of The Hills and the Laguna Beach cast welcomed her third child with Bears quarterback Jay Cutler November 23.

Call the Grand County Sheriff’s office at 435-359-8115 with any information about her brother. Here’s hoping for Michael’s safe return.

Bunny Lain: Lamar Odom Prostitute Reported Missing

When Lamar Odom was found unconscious in his VIP suite at the Love Ranch brothel last week, his life may have been saved by some of the women who work at the establishment.

Madison Montag and Ryder Cherry have been identified as two of the prostitutes who helped to revive Odom, but sources say the former NBA star made the acquaintance of many young ladies during his time at Love Ranch, many of whom were profoundly affected by his near-fatal overdose.

TMZ is now reporting that one of those women, a sex worker who goes by the name Bunny Lain, has disappeared from the brothel (where she both lived and worked) and has been reported missing by her friends.

“Bunny was extremely distraught over the unfortunate Lamar experience and could not quit crying for days,” says Love Ranch owner Dennis Hof.

Lain reportedly left the Ranch on Thursday night and has not been seen since.

Her co-workers say they pleaded with her not to leave in such a distraught state, but she reportedly insisted on going to Las Vegas, which is about an hour away from the brothel.

When Lain disappeared, Odom was near death. In the days since, he’s emerged from his coma and started physical therapy.

Lain’s friends are concerned by the fact that despite Odom’s remarkable turnaround, she still hasn’t contacted them.
