Cheyenne Floyd: Teen Mom OG Fans FURIOUS with Official Casting News!
Earlier this week, MTV finally confirmed the big news:
Cheyenne Floyd is joining the cast of Teen Mom OG.
It wasn’t the first time we heard the idea of Cheyenne, a star on other MTV reality shows like Are You the One? and The Challenge, becoming a cast member on the show.
Far from it, actually.
The first reports about Cheyenne came out back in June, and word is that she began filming then too, along with the father of her daughter, ex-boyfriend Cory Wharton.
Other Teen Mom players have commented on her, and there were even whispers that she’d possibly been let go for some questionable tweets she made several years ago.
But despite all of that, there was no official word on her casting until now.
So now Cheyenne will join Maci Bookout, Amber Portwood, Catelynn Lowell, and fellow newcomer Bristol Palin to make the core group of Teen Mom OG.
And in case you haven’t heard, the show’s fans are very, very displeased.
When the official Teen Mom Facebook page posted the news, the comment section was full of dismay.
“Why do they keep adding random people?” one person asked. “These girls were never on the show to start with and shouldn’t be now.”
This is a good point because the “OG” in the title of the show stands for “Original Girls,” because Maci, Amber, Catelynn, and Farrah Abraham, the original cast, have been around since the beginning of the show.
They were on the very first season of 16 and Pregnant, and despite the significant pay raises they’ve received over the years, they really did struggle in the early days — and MTV cameras documented it all.
As another person pointed out, “Can’t be Teen Mom OG if y’all have 2 new people who aren’t even part of the teen mom franchise smh.”
It is a pretty big oversight, considering the title of the show, you know?
Someone else popped in the comments with some sarcasm, writing “I saw a lady with a baby outside of Target today. She looked to be about 25 yrs old.”
“She was fighting on the phone with her boyfriend, so she fits 3 of the key factors. Hurry up MTV, give her a call!!!”
This comment addresses several other issues with Cheyenne’s casting, one being that she’s turning 26 next month and just gave birth to her first child last year.
Say what you will about Bristol Palin — seriously, say whatever, it’s cool — but at least she actually was a teen mom.
Sure, Cheyenne can probably bring the drama, but it feels like anyone starring on a show called Teen Mom should meet that one basic requirement.
Lots of people left comments to say that even though Farrah left the show, things could have gone on with just the three remaining cast members.
Many said that they’d fast-forward through Cheyenne and Bristol’s segments, and some said they’d stop watching altogether.
Quite a few even said that they felt the show should be cancelled at this point.
In conclusion, let’s let one commenter express what the rest of us are thinking:
“Wtf this sh-t is getting so stupid.”

Meghan Markle Makes First Official Appearance as The Duchess of Sussex!
The Royal Wedding may be over, but the Royal Life has only just begun for Meghan Markle.
Mere days after she captured the heart of a nation by exchanging vows with Prince Harry, Markle made her first official appearance.
Not as Meghan Markle, of course. But as The Duchess of Sussex.
Equipped with this new title and the perfect look to go along with it, Markle attended a 70th birthday party in honor of her father-in-law, Prince Charles.
He is also the man who walked Meghan down the aisle last Saturday after Meghan’s own father fell victim to some health problems.
Prince Harry and his lovely wife arrived at Buckingham Palace in London on Tuesday afternoon to attend a garden party for the former’s dad, a gathering that caused the newlyweds to postpone their honeymoon.
It remains unclear exactly where the couple will vacation when they do finally get away from it all, but most Royal Sources assume it will be somewhere in Africa.
For this festive occasion, Harry went with a classic black suit over a white button-down shirt and a blue necktie.
Markle, whose fashion will now be scrutinzed for the rest of her life, donned a pale pink hat and a blush-colored Goat dress with sheer detailing.
She styled her brunette hair in a chic side chignon.
In photos from the party, Markle is seen sharing a laugh Charles and with Charles and Duchess Camilla, as over 6,000 people actually attended this celebration.
Prince Charles does not turn 70 until November 14, but this event served to honor patronage, military affiliations and the charities he supports.
The gathering also recognized the emergency personnel who responded to the terror attack at Ariana Grande’s concert at the Manchester Arena, which took place exactly one year ago on Tuesday.
Such an awful tragedy.
In the days since the wedding, Prince Charles has received heaps of praise in the British press for the welcome he offered to Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland.
At one point, he was seen taking Doria’s hand in the chapel when she was overcome with the emotion of the big day.
Later, he walked with her as he departed the chapel alongside his wife.
Harry and Meghan, of course, tied the knot in front of approximately 600 guests at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle on Saturday, May 19.
Later that night, they celebrated at a private reception – hosted by Charles – with about 200 of their close friends and family members.
They haven’t said anything in public yet about the wedding, but the newlyweds did pose for this gorgeous photos shortly after they made their union official:
Simply breathtaking, isn’t it?
“The couple will be going on honeymoon, but not straightaway,” said Kensington Palace spokesman Jason Knauf, adding:
“They will have their first engagement as a married couple in the week after the wedding.”
At some point, we’d also have to imagine Markle and Harry sit down for a joint interview as a married couple.

Royal Wedding 2018: The Official Portraits are Here!
Meghan Markle didn’t merely marry Prince Harry this past Saturday.
She married into Prince Harry’s famous and very wealthy family.
And this development has now been driven home via the release of the official Royal Portraits from Kensington Palace.
Snapped in the Green Drawing Room at Windsor Castle after Meghan and Harry magical carriage procession through London, the picture were shot by fashion photographer, Alexi Lubomirski.
This is the same artist who took the couple’s memorable engagement photos at Frogmore House in Windsor late last year.
The first image (above) is a truly epic gathering of the entire royal family (minus four-week-old Prince Louis, who stayed home at the palace because… come on, he’s four weeks old).
Include in this snapshot is the little bridal party and Meghan’s proud mother, Doria Ragland.
(As you’ve likely read about by now, Meghan’s father, Thomas, suffered a heart attack last week and then underwent a heart procedure. He was unable to make the trip.)
“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have released three official photographs from their Wedding day,” opens the Kensington Palace Twitter caption alongside this photo, adding:
“These photographs were taken by photographer Alexi Lubomirski at Windsor Castle, following the carriage procession. #RoyalWedding.”
Also featured in the photo set is a picture of just Harry and Meghan with their adorable page boys and bridesmaids.
And it’s beyond precious…
Led by Prince George and Princess Charlotte, the eight other children include several of Harry and Meghan’s godchildren and children of their friends.
They are:
Florence van Cutsem, 3; Remi Litt, 6 and her sister Rylan, 7; Ivy Mulroney, 4; Zalie Warren, 2; Jasper Dyer, 6; and twins Brian and John Mulroney, 7.
“The duke and duchess would like to thank everyone who took part in the celebrations of their wedding,” a spokesperson for Kensington Palace said in a statement on Monday.
“They feel so lucky to have been able to share their day with all those gathered in Windsor and those who watched on television across the U.K., Commonwealth and around the world.”
Finally, this three-photo release concludes with a romantic snapshot of the brand new bride and groom, looking as happy as two people can be:
Meghan and Harry’s wedding came six months after the couple announced their engagement to the world.
It went off without a hitch, but with plenty of memorable moments.
Markle, for example, paid tribute to Princess Diana by wearing something blue.
She also stunned and inadvertedly seduced millions of people around the world by changing into a sleek white dress for her evening reception.
Just… wow, right?
There was also the kiss outside the chapel and the rendition of “Stand By Me” that was sung right before Meghan and Harry exchanged vows.
The vows did not include the word “obey,” which many have taken as a subtle pro-feminism stance by Markle’s part.

Avicii"s Family Issues First Official Statement Since DJ"s Death
The family of Avicii has broken its silence.
Three days after the beloved DJ was shocking found dead at the young age of 28, Avicii’s loved ones have issued their first statement in response to this tragedy.
“We would like to thank you for the support and the loving words about our son and brother,” opens this message.
It continues:
“We are so grateful for everyone who loved Tim’s music and have precious memories of his songs.
Thank you for all the initiatives taken to honor Tim, with public gatherings, church bells ringing out his music, tributes at Coachella and moments of silence around the world.”
The DJ’s real name was Tim Bergling, it’s worth noting.
And this statement concludes as follows:
“We are grateful for the privacy during this difficult time. Our wish is that it continues that way. With love, The Tim Bergling Family.”
There has certainly been an outpouring of support, that’s not exaggeration.
Avicii was considered to be one of the best known and most respected DJs on the planet.
He was an early supporters of the EDM movement, bringing that type of music to clubs around the globe.
The artist’s major hits included singles such as “Levels,” “Wake Me Up” and “Hey Brother.”
Sadly, Avicii was found dead in his hotel room in Moscat, Oman last Friday.
His cause of death has not been revealed, yet numerous outlets cite Oman authorities’ assertion that there is “no criminal suspicion of death.”
The musician’s body is expected to be flown back to his native Sweden this week, these same outlets have confirmed.
Avicii took a break from touring two years ago after admitting that he had fallen prey to the hard partying lifestyle, while also stating he had been diagnosed with pancreatitis at the age of 21.
It’s unknown at this time whether that illness or whether any foreign substances contributed to his passing,
Elsewhere, Incubus guitarist Mike Einziger helped Avicii wrote the song “Wake Me Up.” He knew the DJ well.
And he has penned his own lengthy tribute to the late star for Variety.

I wish I could have been there to help him. He was such a sweet person and had such a long life ahead of him.
Maybe I didn’t appreciate this as much as I should have when he was alive, but he really changed my life in a pretty profound way, as a collaborator, as a creative partner.
Some of the work we did together is some of the music I’m most proud of in my whole life. We went through a creative period together that was really exciting and fun.
When stuff like that happens it’s just like magic and really rare.
To have shared that with him and just to see and be able to feel how vibrant he was as a human being and also as an artist, he had such a strong creative vision.
He was so committed to every single piece he worked on. And it was really a privilege to be around that and share that with somebody so vibrant. He was so sweet and such a visionary.
I still can’t believe he’s gone – I’m still just trying to process it. It’s awful.
He was such a sweet human being, genuine. He was so young. These are all cliches, but it’s just tragic. All I can do is shake my head.
May Avicii rest in peace.

Vanessa Trump Makes It Official: I Want a Divorce!

No, not that Donald Trump.
The junior Donald Trump has been served divorce papers by Vanessa Trump, his wife of 12 years.
Following pretty strong chatter that this announcement was imminent, Donald Jr. and Vanessa made their decision final on Thursday evening via the following joint statement:
“After 12 years of marriage, we have decided to go our separate ways. We will always have tremendous respect for each other and our families.
“We have five beautiful children together and they remain our top priority. We ask for your privacy during this time.”
The New York Post, which was the first major outlet to report this story, confirms that Vanessa filed her legal papers in Manhattan Supreme Court.
She asked for an “uncontested proceeding.”
Donald Jr. and Vanessa are both 40 years old.
They started dating shortly after meeting a fashion show in The Big Apple in 2003, having been introduced by the current President of the United States.
The couple then got married at his Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida, in November 2005.
They are the parents of five kids: Kai, 10, Donald III, 9, Tristan, 6, Spencer, 5, and Chloe, 3.
While detailing the specifics of the divorce, most newspapers and websites have also quoted sources who say this split is not very surprising.
I heard for a while they have been living separate lives,” an insider tells People Magazine, for example, adding:
“Even before all this Trump presidency stuff started they weren’t good and their marriage was strained.”
And then there’s this from Us Weekly:
“His relationship with Vanessa started getting rocky two years ago, when his dad started to campaign.
“Vanessa is very close to her family and very private and does not like all this attention on her family. They’ve been unhappy for a while.”
A frightening incident from last month certainly didn’t help matters, either.
Vanessa was hospitalized a few weeks ago after the family received a suspicious letter containing a white, powdery substance that police later found to be nontoxic.
Trump Jr. confirmed to the press afterward that his wife was “unharmed,” but the situation was understandably unsettling for all involved.
“Thankful that Vanessa & my children are safe and unharmed after the incredibly scary situation that occurred this morning,” President Trump’s oldest son Tweeted at the time, concluding:
“Truly disgusting that certain individuals choose to express their opposing views with such disturbing behavior.”
We don’t agree with a lot this family says – but we agree with this last statement.
The Daily Mail wrote last month that the pair didn’t spend Valentine’s Day together, opting instead to treat their children to separate dinners…
… and starting a round of Internet rumors that have now been made into a reality.
Trump Jr. meanwhile, has been at the center of a separate firestorm for months after it was revealed last year that he took a meeting at Trump Tower in June 2016 with a Russian attorney promising dirt on his father’s Democratic rival, Hillary Clinton.
The shady businessman even admitted shortly after this information came out that he attended the meeting specifically because he was promised said dirt.
And while Donald continues to run the Trump Organization, People has this to say about his life at the moment:
“Don can’t do any deals, because he’ll be overly scrutinized. He just goes to work every day and is miserable.”

Meghan Markle Makes First Official Appearance with The One and Only Queen
Call us crazy, but we think this whole Meghan Markle-Prince Harry relationship is getting pretty serious.
We got this inkling back when the two first got together… and then it grew stronger last summer after Harry released a public statement that asks trolls to leave his girlfriend alone.
Then Harry went ahead and proposed to Markle.
And now with their wedding scheduled for May 19, we think there may be something really brewing between the former Suits actress and the hard-partying Brit.
It’s worth keeping your eye on at least.
The latest sign that Markle and Harry are more than a mere fling arrived on Monday morning when the star joined Queen Elizabeth II and the rest of the royal family in a first official joint engagement at Westminster Abbey.
As you can see above and below, Markle donned a creamy white coat by Amanda Wakeley over a dark dress and was joined, of course, by her fiance for the occasion.
Prince William and Kate Middleton also took part in the Commonwealth Day service, which is an annual inter-faith gathering broadcast live to celebrate the queen’s lifetime commitment to the Commonwealth.
Markle’s inclusion marks the latest example of her preparing to join this legendary group of relatives forever.

The 91-year old Queen is head of the Commonwealth, defined as a global network of 53 countries with more than two billion people. This morning’s Abbey service is the largest annual interfaith gathering in the United Kingdom.)
Markle continues to make quite the impression in public.
She wears the perfect outfit. She says the perfect thing. She may very well have a perfect smile.
She’s even responded as maturely and as reasonably as one could to dangerous, racist attacks over the past several months.
Elsewhere, we’ve learned that Kate Middleton has organized an amazing bachelorette party for her soon-to-be-sister-in-law.
The impending festivities will include a great deal of wine and Dom Perignon champagne, a photo booth… and even karaoke!
“Kate is determined to make it an unforgettable occasion,” an insider tells In Touch Weekly, adding:
“There will be no expense spared. She wants Meghan to be reminiscing about it for years to come.”
For the record, this gathering will be a separate affair from Markle’s bridal party.
Moreover, Queen Elizabeth II, apparently will be a part of this wild and crazy get-together.
Writes the aforementioned tabloid:
“Those close to Meghan are already betting that the queen will surprise Meghan with some sexy underthings.”
This may be the single funniest rumor we’ve ever seen reported by a magazine.
We’ve been wrong at least once before, but we somehow doubt the Queen will be gifting Markle with any sexy underthings prior to her wedding.
