Cheryl Cole Has Something to Say About Her Split from Liam Payne (Attention, You Trolls!)
Yes, it’s sad but true:
As reported in detail on The Hollywood Gossip, Cheryl Cole and Liam Payne have broken up.
No one is quite certain just when the split was finalized, but chatter over a split had been running rampant online for multiple months now.
Payne turned these rumors into an unfortunate reality on Instagram Sunday night when he posted the following:
“Cheryl and I are sad to announce that we are going our separate ways. It’s been a tough decision for us to make. We still have so much love for each other as a family.”
He then referenced the couple’s son, who was born in March of 2017 and who has both an odd name and a very cute face:
“Bear is our world and we ask that you respect his privacy as we navigate our way through this together.”
No reason was given for the break-up.
So you know what this means, don’t you?
Yup: the Internet was free to print basically anything it wanted to about what transpired between the beautiful Brits.
For whatever reason, talk that Cole’s mother, Joan Callaghan, did not approve of Payne has become a hot topic among celebrity gossip followers.
There have been reports that she drove a wedge between the artist and encouraged them to go their separate ways.
Entering the spotlight in order to address these reports, Cole took the rare step this afternoon of speaking in public about her private life.
“I hate responding to stuff esp at such difficult times but I cannot sit here and listen to such nasty, false articles regarding my mam,” Tweeted Cole to her 6.4 million followers.
She then got to the point, in understandably irritated fashion:
“I don’t know why they involve her in stories about me.
“I can assure you she has absolutely nothing to do with any of it. I am a grown woman who is capable of dealing with my own life.
“She is a soft and kind woman who doesn’t deserve to be dragged into something that has nothing whatsoever to do with her.”
With that, Cheryl Cole dropped the mic.
Figuratively speaking, that is.
The Daily Mail was the main outlet who wrote this morning that Callaghan posed a “problem” in the relationship between her daughter and Liam, writing simply that she got “in the way.”
The attractive and talented singers started dating in 2015.
They rarely discussed their romance in magazines or on social media, but they had been the target of split rumors throughout their relationship, especially toward the end.
Consider what the 24-year old ex-One Direction member said to ES Magazine in March…
“You know, we have our struggles.
“Like, of course I’m not gonna sit here and say that everything’s absolutely fine and dandy, because of course you go through different things, and that’s what a relationship is.”
He elaborated:
“This part of our relationship was never not going to happen; there was always going to be a little bit of tenseness in the way we sort ourselves out. But tell me a relationship in the world that doesn’t go through a spot like that?
“It’s about whether you make it through or not, together, is the main point there, I guess.”
That’s a fair and realistic assessment of a relationship.
But it wasn’t a ringing endorsement for his future with Cole, either.
We somehow have a feeling neither will have trouble finding anyone new.

Liam Payne and Cheryl Cole: What? It"s Over?!?!?!?
According to a VERY reliable source, Liam Payne is all set to go in one direction…
… while long-time girlfriend Cheryl Cole goes in another.
Indeed, the gorgeous and adorable couple has ended its two-year romance, dealing quite a blow to fans who were expecting the singers to walk down the aisle at some point.
On Sunday, however, the 24-year-old artist shared the sad news on his Twitter page, writing:
“Cheryl and I are sad to announce that we are going our separate ways. It’s been a tough decision for us to make. We still have so much love for each other as a family.
“Bear is our world and we ask that you respect his privacy as we navigate our way through this together.”
Payne and Cole welcomed their son in March of last year.
Liam was also the person who confirmed this blessed event, posting a picture of him and his only child on social media, along with the following announcement:
“My close friends and family know there are very few times when I’m left speechless… wow!
“I’m incredibly happy to welcome our new baby boy into the world, it’s a moment that I will never forget for the rest of my life and my favourite memory I have so far.
“I’m completely in awe of his incredible mother and how she has been the whole way through this, she’s really made my dreams come true…
“I feel very blessed.”
After the birth of their son, many wondered when Cole and Payne would get married.
But wedding speculation turned into split speculation a few weeks ago.
In February, Cole was asked about rumors of a break-up with the her boyfriend while attending the opening of The Prince’s Trust Cheryl’s Trust Centre in Newcastle Upon Tyne, England.
When journalists asked if she was “frustrated” that such chatter could overshadow her charity campaign, the singer avoided the question.
She could have put an end to the rumors with a simple expression of love for Liam at the time.
Instead, Cole said this:
“Do I find it frustrating? No, it doesn’t bother me. My focus is solely on this, it’s taken seven years to get here and none of that matters. This is the most important part for me.”
So… what the heck happened?
We can’t say for certain.
A few outlets have alleged that Cole rejected Payne’s proposal earlier this year and the relationship has been doomed ever since.
The Sun, for example, writes that Payne has wanted to make the relationship official ever since becoming a father.
“Liam is smitten with his little boy and wants things to work between him and Cheryl, so thought talk of marriage was a positive step,” an insider has told this British publication, adding;
“She just doesn’t seem to be thinking in the same sort of way and has made it clear that’s not on the cards at the moment, which he saw as a real snub.”
Liam Payne cradled his newborn son in this precious photo.
We can imagine how awkward this would make any romance.
This same newspaper also explained that Payne may have wanted to marry Cole, but he also wanted to build a successful music career.
And this has kept the stars sort of far apart for awhile.
“The reality is his solo career has been very demanding on his time and Cheryl has spent a lot of time alone as a new mum,” writes The Sun, adding:
“That put pressure on her and the relationship and they drifted apart.”
Darn.
Neither Liam nor Cheryl talked much about their relationship in public during the two years they dated.
So we don’t expect to hear a lot from them now that it’s over.
We just wish each side the very best in all things personal and professional as they moved forward.

Liam Payne Goes Naked on Instagram: See The Picture!
Liam Payne may be on an intense promotional schedule for his solo career, but that does not mean that he can’t take a break to let his fans know he’s still all over social media.
The former One Direction star shocked his fans with a nude selfie, and no, we’re not kidding. He indulged in an outdoor shower, before taking a picture in a sultry pose for his fans.
We have the full picture for your viewing pleasure, and we’re sure you’ll be just as thankful for it as his fans were on Instagram.
With his chiseled body and good looks, nobody can deny that he’s not one of the hottest celebrities on the planet.
Have a look at the picture below.
Good morning, indeed.
Liam showed off his body via his Instagram. Some of the comments were crazy. One Direction stars, in particular, have been very popular with fans ever since they were made a band on The X Factor UK a few years back.
“Where the f*** in the city is Liam taking an outdoor shower?” one fan wrote.
“Just when I thought summer couldn’t get any hotter,” another fan tweeted in appreciation.
A third continued: “I forgot to breathe there for a second.”
Liam likes to parade his body around social media, and we’re not entirely against it.
Have a look at the one below.
See what we mean?
Liam recently became a father to his first child with Cheryl Cole. They named their first son Bear, and poor Liam did not get to spend his first Father’s Day with his family.
Instead, he was on a rigorous promotional campaign for his solo music. Cheryl returned to Instagram to wish him a happy day in a beautiful post.
“Happy 1st Father’s Day Liam.. You are the most amazing daddy and the best example for our son. The way he looks at you says it all. Your relationship melts my heart. You are the centre of his world & We adore you.”
We dare say that brought a tear to Liam’s eye.
Liam dropped his first solo single last month. Titled “Strip That Down,” it was a surprisingly infectious pop single that proved he was not just good in One Direction.
His next track will be a collaboration with Zedd titled, “Get Low.”
What do you think about all of this?

Harry Styles vs. Liam Payne: Unexpected Feud Alert!
Things are going pretty well for Harry Styles these days.
Harry is about to embark on his first world tour as a solo artist; his debut album is receiving near-universal acclaim from critics; and he recently started dating Tess Ward.
We don’t know much about her, but she’s hot and she’s a professional chef, so we’re gonna say Harry did alright for himself.
But when you’re at the top of your game, haters tend to come out of the woodwork, and the former One Direction heartthrob is currently learning that lesson the hard way.
Harry’s cover of a Kanye West song drew a deafening chorus of boos from the Internet this week.
His reference to a “baby mama” in a song lyric had detractors slamming Harry for everything from shameless attention-seeking to misogyny.
For the most part, the reaction to Harry’s first solo endeavor has been positive, but sometimes one critical voice can seem louder than 1,000 compliments.
Especially when the trash talk is coming from a supposed friend.
Asked for his thoughts on Harry’s new single, Liam Payne didn’t hide his distaste for his former band mates debut.
“Harry’s song I heard, and I’ll be honest with you, it’s not my sort of music,” he admitted.
“It’s not something I’d listen to, but I think he did a great job of doing what he wanted to do. That’s the way I’d put it best, I think.”
Now, Liam defenders will be quick to point out that Payne did say Styles “did a great job.”
But that one compliment was buried under a heap of what can only be described as the shadiest shade.
Liam appears to have realized what his comments sound more than a little harsh, and he attempted to walk back the statement by speculating that Harry wouldn’t like his solo stuff either:
“And I think the funny thing is, [Harry] would say the same thing about me because he doesn’t really listen to hip-hop music, where it’s like my song’s more [like Tyga’s] ‘Rack City,’” Payne said.
“And his song is more of a different era to something I’d listen to, I guess.”
Nice try with the self-deprecation, but comparing yourself to Tyga won’t get you out of this one, Liam.
Also, have some respect for yourself, man. Tyga?!
