Taylor Swift & Calvin Harris: REAL Reason For Split Revealed?!

As you’ve probably heard by now (probably via memes and social media jokes about how she’ll have an album of breakup songs recorded by tomorrow afternoon), Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris have broken up.

The news shocked fans, as it came on the heels of rumors about Taylor and Calvin getting engaged.

The couple was together for 15 months, and by most accounts they were perfectly happy, so why the sudden split?

Naturally, the Internet is awash with rumors about what went wrong between Taylor and Calvin, and yes, we may eventually find out the truth in song form.

Until then, there are a few things we know for sure.

For starters, despite countless rumors to the controversy, Calvin did not cheat on Taylor.

In fact, by all accounts, he was the one who called it quits.

And why would one half of one of the most successful couples in music cut the cord?

Well, it seems that while fans may have been setting a date for Taylor and Calvin from day one, Harris was less keen on the idea of getting hitched.

“Taylor was starting to pressure Calvin into walking down the aisle and he just felt that he wasn’t ready yet,” a source close to the situation tells Hollywood Life.

“He’s still, and always will be, career-focused and doesn’t want to settle down just yet,” the source continues.

“He envisaged getting married at 35-plus, and wasn’t comfortable talking about getting hitched after just a little over a year of dating.”

Taylor has expressed ambivalence about starting a family in the past, but maybe when faced with the prospect of waiting another three years to settle down, she decided she wanted the picket fence life more than she thought?

We may never know for sure, but one thing is certainly clear:

Coming off the most successful album of her career, Taylor suddenly has a goldmine of material for her follow-up.

Gwen Stefani Not Marrying Blake Shelton, Not Carrying His Baby...Yet

The rumors have been plentiful, but they certainly aren’t true.

Gwen Stefani put any and all speculation to rest about pregnancies, engagements, and secret weddings involving boyfriend Blake Shelton on June 1st when she appeared on 94.7 Fresh FM’s The Tommy Show.

“Let’s just take it one day at a time,” she answered when host Tommy McFLY asked if she’d be wearing an engagement ring to an upcoming performance.

“Everything’s crazy right now so no, absolutely not.”

Even Stefani herself can’t help but wonder how some of the tabloids make up such stories.

“Can you imagine the amount of gossipy, weird stories people make up?” she said

“To me, it makes me laugh every day. I actually do Google my name just so I can see the next one that’s gonna happen, because it’s gotten so out of control.”

The most recent tale involves a KFC bucket and a $ 1.4 million Tiffany & Co. ring.  

According to Radar Online, Shelton hid the sparkler at the bottom of the greasy bucket, and when Stefani found it, he proposed.

“The best part about it is it’s hilarious,” Stefani, 46 said.

“The worst part about it is that some people actually believe that stuff. Like, that is what’s funny.”

Coincidentally (or not), Shelton gave an interview to Rolling Stone about the start of their relationship.

Shelton, who had split with wife Miranda Lambert in July, found out that Stefani had just announced her separation from Gavin Rossdale.

“We just started to develop a friendship after that,” he said. “And it took awhile, because it’s chaos. But just over time, seeing each other a lot at work, it just kind of developed into that.

“I was spending some time with Gwen all of a sudden, and she became my closest ally, my friend, my person in my life who had my back, and I had hers,” Shelton revealed.

“And created this bond with somebody that I never would have thought in a million years.”

Amber Heard Text Messages: New Evidence of Johnny Depp Abuse?

Text messages allegedly sent by Amber Heard to Johnny Depp’s assistant have been made public.

And they do not paint the actor in a very favorable light.

Originally shared by Entertainment Tonight, the texts were reportedly sent in 2014.

It’s unclear how they made their way online, although one could likely assume they were leaked by Heard’s camp in light of recently questions surrounding her claims of abuse.

Early last week, Heard filed for divorce from Depp.

She then asked the court for a restraining order against the actor because she says Depp recently threw an iPhone at her face.

Heard says this was the latest in a string of physical altercations.

Some critics have accused Heard of making up these allegations, even using them to blackmail Depp for spousal support, which has prompted Heard to provide further evidence of what transpired between her and her estranged husband.

The actress covers the latest issue of People Magazine, for example, providing the publication with photos that purport to prove Depp’s abuse.

Now, there are the following text message exchanges.

“When I told him he kicked you, he cried,” Depp’s assistant, Stephen Deuters, appears to have texted Heard in May 2014. “It was disgusting. And he knows it.”

Heard responded that it wasn’t the first time Depp had behaved in ugly fashion.

“He’s done this many times before,” she writes, detailing past incidents as follows:

“Tokyo, the island, London (remember that?!), and I always stay. Always believe he’s going to get better . . . And then every 3 or so month [sic], I’m in the exact same position.”

The screen shots of these text messages were sent to Entertainment Tonight, with an insider confirming they took place between Heard and Deuters.

They all focused on Heard mentioning incidents of assault and Deuters claiming Depp felt very badly about his actions.

“I don’t know how to be around him after what he did to me yesterday. I don’t know if I can stay with him,” Amber texts at one point.

Heard also says Depp “has no idea what he did” in one of her messages, adding:

“If someone was truly honest with him about how bad it really was, he’d be appalled.”

Might Heard be referencing heavy drinking or drug use by Depp here?

Implying that her then-husband was on some sort of substance when he got physical with his wife and legitimately wasn’t aware of what he did?

That’s no excuse, of course.

Expect plenty more to come out regarding this contentious relationship over the coming days and weeks.

It isn’t looking good for Depp at the moment.
