Tom Cruise: Hoping a Facelift Will Save His Career?

The press and the movie-going public have not been kind to Tom Cruise in recent years.

Of course, it’s not like the 53-year-old actor-turned-Scientologist-mouthpiece has mounted a particularly strong case in his own defense.

First there were the reports that Cruise hadn’t seen his daughter Suri in 1,000 days.

Not only was that bizarrely specific length of time eventually extended to three years, Cruise reportedly used a series of bizarre justifications to justify abandoning Suri.

Insiders say that in addition to the usual sci-fi mumbo-jumbo, Church of Scientology leader David Miscavige filled Tom’s head with some tailor-made BS about Suri being “infiltrated by a bad Thetan.”

That may not mean much to most folks who haven’t been driven mad by decades of fame and X Files storylines being presented as religious doctrine, but to Cruise it means that he now needs to run from his daughter just like he runs in every single one of his movies.

In fact, insiders say Cruise will essentially be bidding farewell to his family and his career in the near future so that he can essentially live as a nomad and serve an international ambassador for Scientology.

But first, it seems have to fix a problem that’s too big for Xenu to handle on his own.

According to In Touch, Tom is not happy with the way he’s aging, and he’s planning to go under the knife to restructure his famous face.

“He is getting older and it’s starting to show,” says one insider.

“He’s noticed that his jawline and brows are starting to droop. It’s been making him unhappy for a long time.”

No one seems to agree on whether he’s more concerned about preaching the word of L. Ron are getting better movie roles, but the consensus seems to be that Cruise will be getting nipped and tucked:

“Tom wants a facelift,” says the source. “Botox and fillers won’t cut it. A facelift is the only way to fix what he doesn’t like. This is very important to Tom.”

Yes, it seems plastic surgery is officially a bigger priority to Cruise than his 10-year-old daughter.

Hey, he may be a religious fanatic, but he’s still Hollywood to the bone!

Javi Marroquin SLAMS Kailyn Lowry on Twitter Amid Cheating Rumors

Javi Marroquin has returned to Twitter after deleting his account for a stint, and he’s making it clear whether he thinks Kailyn Lowry cheated on him.

“What’s done in the night will show in the light,” he tweeted, seemingly referring to his estranged wife’s alleged infidelity.

While Javi surely knew how his tweet would be interpreted, he pretended to take the high road just hours prior.

“I’m gonna keep my mouth shut about all these stupid false stories cause I’m not gonna bash my sons mother so we’ll leave it at that,” he wrote.

Last month, Kailyn announced her divorce from Javi, confirming what fans had suspected for months.

Amid the rumors, a number of cheating allegations also surfaced from both sides.

Javi was accused of cheating with a mystery woman on Instagram and then another to whom he admitted sending a racy photo.

Kailyn was thought to have stepped out with a number of men, including her exes Jo Rivera and Jordan Wenner, a mystery man and Tyler Hill.

But the latest goss centers around Kailyn’s relationship with a lady named Becky Hayter

While it’s unclear whether this is Jay Z’s “Becky with the good hair,” we do know that Kailyn posted a video to Instagram of her and her friend kissing, which she deleted shortly thereafter.

After she shared the vid, her comments section blew up with fans assuming she’d switched teams.

While Kail hasn’t confirmed or denied a romantic link to Becky, her next tweet added fuel to the sexual fluidity fire.

“Do I have to be gay or straight? Can’t I just love people?” she wrote.

Maybe Kailyn needs a woman in her life. With two kids and two baby daddies at age 24, it seems like men just aren’t working out for her.

Dylan Dreyer Pregnant! Today Meteorologist Surprises Co-Hosts With Baby News

This is friggin" adorable.

During a Fishbowl Q&A segment of Today (how else do you fill 5 hours of morning programming?), meteorologist Dylan Dreyer selected a random (we think) question from the giant fishbowl.

After reading the question to herself, Dreyer looked off-camera and said "Really?  You guys need some new jokes."

When the other talent, which included Savannah Guthrie (who announced her second pregnancy earlier this week), Al Roker, Carson Daly and Tamron Hall asked if Dreyer really selected such a spot-on question, she showed them the proof, and then made her big reveal.

"Look it really says, "Are you pregnant?" and yes I am!"

The entire set erupted in cheers, and Guthrie was especially excited to have a preggo co-worker.

"Shut the front door!" Daly said as he threw his script up in the air.

Dreyer and her husband, Brian Fichera already found out the sex of the baby – Dreyer filled balloons with blue confetti to surprise Fichera – so she filled a black balloon for her co-hosts, and had Hall do the honors of popping the balloon.

Said balloon was popped, and blue confetti went everywhere.

The little baby boy will make his arrival this December.

"Brian and I have been married for almost four years," Dreyer, 34, wrote on Today"s site.

"Four wonderful years that included a move to New York City and a new dream-come-true job at the TODAY Show. We weren"t in a rush to have kids and, to be honest, there was a time when we declared we never wanted kids!

"Then one day we both looked at each other and said, "I want a baby!" As usual, we were on the same page and it all just seemed right.

"Now, here I am, writing my first ever blog about a BABY! It was a tiny little secret we kept among a small circle in our family, and I can now scream it from the rooftops: "I"M PREGNANT!!!" And now I can scream, "OH CRAP!!!!"

"I"ve asked people to try to explain to me why having a baby changes your life in a way you could never imagine. No one can put it into words, but when I saw this little guy and watched him dance around and touch his hand to his face, I fell in love instantly. A love I, too, can"t put into words.

"P.S. We didn"t plan the timing of a December baby to get out of winter storm coverage…I swear."

Dreyer joined the Today show in 2012 from NBC affiliate WHDH in Boston, MA.

Johnny Depp: Will Amber Heard Abuse Allegations End His Career?!

It’s not a great time to be Johnny Depp.

Even before his estranged wife, Amber Heard, shocked Hollywood by accusing Depp of abuse, the 52-year-old actor was at the lowest point of his three-decade career.

Following a string of box office flops, the once-beloved former heartthrob found himself the butt of merciless jokes about his appearance and declining popularity at the box office.

Obviously, Depp has received plenty of validation over the years, but even for one of the most recognized men in the world, being called “fat and greasy” by a major publication can’t feel good.

But for much of the movie-going public, any sympathy they may have once had for an aging A-lister on the decline went out the window once he found himself the subject of some truly appalling allegations (complete with photographic evidence), and yet continued to receive the support of numerous famous friends and countless fans.

Comedian Doug Stanhope publicly accused Heard of blackmailing Depp

Benicio Del Toro described Heard as “really twisted.”

Obviously, we can’t say for certain that Heard’s not mounting an elaborate frame-up, but celebrities rushing to the defense of an accused woman beater is unheard-of in the modern era.

It’s a testament to how beloved Depp is within certain Hollywood circles, but it’s likely not helping his case.

The court of public opinion appears to still be divided, but Heard has filed assault charges against Depp, and she’s stills seeking spousal support and a permanent restraining order, which means this matter will eventually end up in some kind of actual court.

Even if Depp is cleared of all charges, however, it seems unlikely that his career will ever recover.

For starters, he wasn’t exactly on the top of the Hollywood heap when all this started.

In fact, there were murmurs that the formerly bankable (and still premium-priced) star had prematurely entered the “latter-day DeNiro” stage of his career well before he became embroiled in one of the ugliest Hollywood scandals in recent memory.

Add to that the fact that Depp’s bread and butter in recent years has been has been family-friendly Disney fare, and it becomes clear that at the very least, he can’t continue along the path he’s been on since he first donned Captain Jack Sparrow’s red bandana in 2003.

And then there’s the way Depp and his team have handled the charges against him.

In addition to the impassioned pleas from his exes and celebrity pals, Depp’s attorney, Laura Wasser, has launched a full-blown assault against, claiming the actress has falsified evidence and is now dodging requests for a deposition.

Obviously, the man has the right to defend himself, but a bunch of high-priced attorneys and wealthy middle-aged men going on the offensive against an allegedly battered 30-year-old woman is just not a good luck.

All of this is to say that while Depp will probably remain most legally unscathed by Heard’s claims, the damage to his career may be irreparable.

It’s unlikely that you’ll ever see him behind bars, but you may soon see him in the DVD bargain bin alongside Nicolas Cage.
