Abby Lee Miller: Guilty Plea to Come?

As those who watch Dance Moms online know so very well, Abby Lee Miller is guilty of being an out of control bully on nearly every episode of this Lifetime hit.

But is she also guilty of committing financial fraud?

Back in October, Miller was charged with bankruptcy fraud, with authorities alleging that the reality star failed to report various forms of income to the government after filing for Chapter 11 in 2010.

Soon afterward, Miller posted $ 10,000 bond at her arraignment in Pennsylvania.

She also pleaded NOT guilty to 20 counts of bankruptcy fraud – including concealment of bankruptcy assets, false bankruptcy declarations and bankruptcy fraud – each of which carries with it a maximum imprisonment of five years.

But sources now tell Radar Online that Miller is considering a change of legal opinion.

An insider says Miller is expected to plead guilty next week to bankruptcy fraud, along with failing to report over $ 10,000 of Australian currency she brought into the United States.

Prosecutors added the currency reporting charge on Monday, as the reality star has been asked to pay at least $ 120,000 for the August 2014 crime.

“Events over the past several months have been extremely challenging for me, my family, my friends and most important, my students,” Miller said in a statement.

“Because of this I made the very difficult decision to close the door on this chapter of my life by accepting responsibility for mistakes I have made along the way.”

She added:

“I appreciate all the wonderful messages of support I’ve received from around the world and look forward to the future and getting back to my life’s work; helping young dancers fulfill their potential.”

Miller could face up to five years in prison and $ 5 million in fines if she pleads guilty to all charges.

Don’t expect that to happen.

As much as she sucks, Miller remains a celebrity. We can’t fathom she ends up behind bars.

But hopefully this at least tarnishes her reputation a bit.

Kim Kardashian and Blac Chyna: Joining Forces To Do WHAT?!

This reads like the first (crappy) draft of a Lifetime movie.

So, Kim Kardashian and Blac Chyna are back to being buds (best bust is arguable, but they’re buds, I guess).

With Chyna expecting her second child, and Kardashian already well-versed in peace-keeping (see: Amber Rose), the two women have come together to knock some sense into Kardashian’s half sister, Kylie Jenner.

“Blac and Kim are getting together and staging what they’re calling a ‘man intervention’ for Kylie now that they’re hearing she’s back with Tyga,” a source told Hollywood Life.

“It’s Chyna’s idea and she’s convinced Kim to help her.

“Blac’s family now and she cares about Kylie, and the last thing she wants is for Kylie to be hypnotized by him and fall back into his trap.

“Blac’s in no way trying to run Kylie’s life but she wants to help her sis out because she knows first hand that Tyga’s a liar and a cheater.

“Ultimately, Kylie’s going to make her own decision. But Blac simply wants to help prevent her from getting her heart broken all over again.”

Like any other 18-year-old, Jenner has no idea what she’s doing and keeps getting back together with Tyga, 26.

However, now that Chyna has been welcomed into the family, their loyalty is to her and Rob Kardashian.  Not Tyga.

Even Kris Jenner, who has always said she loves all of her kids’ significant others, has chosen a side.

“Kris is one of the sharpest people one could ever meet. She’s nobody’s fool. And she knew there was not room for both Tyga and Chyna in the Kardashian fold,” a source told celebrity author Ian Halperin.

“The family hated the fact that Tyga had financial problems. There were constant rumors of bankruptcy and Tyga was evicted from several homes for not paying the rent.

‘It was the perfect time for them to get rid of him and to focus on Chyna and Rob. The icing on the cake was when Chyna announced she was pregnant.

“Days later Tyga was out like a bad dog.”

And now he’s back in, I guess?

Adam Lind: Caught Lying About Quitting Teen Mom 2?!

If you watched the second half of the Teen Mom 2 reunion show on Monday night, you know that Adam Lind was basically the douchey, tattooed piñata of the party.

“Call Adam out on his BS” was the theme of the night, and everyone from Dr. Drew Pinsky to Chelsea Houska’s father seemed to enjoy playing along.

It all started when Lind talked about quitting Teen Mom 2.

He’s expressed his desire to leave the show many, many times in the past, but for some reason, he never turns in his resignation.

It’s almost as though his career as a South Dakota bodybuilder hasn’t brought him international fame and buckets of money. Go figure.

Anyway, Dr. Drew addressed the topic during his sitdown with Adam that aired on Monday night, and the Worst Baby Daddy in Teen Mom History was evasive at best and flat-out full of it at worst:

“I’m here because I’m under contract and I have to be here,” Lind said at one point.

“I’m done with the show. I don’t want to participate in the show anymore. I texted MTV that I didn’t want to come to f**king LA and they said you better get a lawyer to get out of your contract.”

Unfortunately, for Lind it’s a bad idea to lie about what goes on behind the scenes of a show where you’re taping a freakin’ episode of that show:

Drew brought about TM2 producer Larry Musnick (the one who was assaulted by Farrah Abraham), who called Lind out on the spot:

“I looked back at the text messages backstage and I didn’t say it would be a breach of contract,” Musnik explained.

“I said, ‘Honor your commitments because you made a commitment to the show.’”

Drew seemed so pleased to see this D-bag finally called out on TV that we’re surprised he didn’t break into a happy dance like a dude on Maury who just found out he’s not the father.

Lind stormed off set, but the hits just keep coming on social media, where Chelsea’s dad, Randy Houska, tweeted:

“Shall we call out the lies as they occur?”

You go, Papa Randy.

Amazon Jaguar Shot, Killed After Olympic Ceremony: Why?!

A jaguar featured at an Olympic torch ceremony was shot and killed by a soldier right almost immediately after the event, reports indicate.

The event took place in the Brazilian Amazon city of Manaus, at a zoo attached to a military training center where the ceremony was held.

After the animal escaped from its handlers, an army statement said, the jaguar was killed by a single pistol shot fired by one of the soldiers.

Despite being tranquilized, the jaguar approached the soldier, the army said, and the outcome was as predictable as it was tragic.

"This image goes against our beliefs and our values," the local organizing committee Rio 2016 said in a statement decrying the incident.

"We made a mistake in permitting the Olympic torch, a symbol of peace and unity, to be exhibited alongside a chained wild animal."

"We guarantee that there will be no more such incidents at Rio 2016."

The jaguar is species that is already extinct in Uruguay and El Salvador, according to the International Union for Conservation of Nature.

Its future coexisting with humanity continues to look perilous.

The Amazon jaguar shooting caused uproar among animal rights groups, already reeling from the killing of a gorilla at a Cincinnati zoo

Moreover, the case of a toddler killed by an alligator at Walt Disney World in Orlando has further raised questions along these lines.

Evidence of flawed policy towards wild animals is abundant, but where should the line be drawn? Who is to blame and what should be done?

In this case, plenty, according to critics of the Olympic event.

Questioning why the animal was even involved, PETA"s Brittany Peet issued a statement condemning the events: "When will we learn?"

"Wild animals held captive and forced to do things that are frightening, sometimes painful, and always unnatural are ticking time bombs."

"Our actions put them and humans at risk."

In Brazil, the Rio de Janeiro-based animal rights group Animal Freedom Union asked the same question in a blistering Facebook post:

"When will people (and institutions) stop with this sick need to show power and control by confining, taming and showcasing wild animals?"

The involvement of Juma, as the jaguar was known, was also illegal, says Ipaam, the Amazonas state government environmental authority.

"No request was made to authorize the participation of the jaguar Juma in the event of the Olympic torch," Ipaam said in a statement.

Ipaam said it is investigating the incident.

A cartoon, smiling jaguar known as Ginga is the mascot of the Brazilian Olympic team, which hosts the global sports event this summer.
