Michelle Duggar: Jim Bob is the Best Dad EVER!!!

Between Bill Cosby and Jim Bob Duggar, it hasn’t been a great year for wholesome TV dads.

Maybe JB didn’t do anything as horrendous as Cosby has been accused of, but he allegedly helped cover up Josh Duggar’s sex crimes, which is about 47 million kinds of not okay.

Even so, Michelle Duggar is a firm believer that Jim Bob is a candidate for Dad of the Year.

Actually, make that Dad of the Century.

Come to think of it, is it too late to get his name on the ballot for Best Dad of All Freakin’ Time?!

Like daughter Jessa, Michelle took to the family blog this week to list the reasons that she thinks Jim Bob is the dad to beat all dads.

Her fond memories are warm – if somewhat random:

“I have sweet memories of you helping with our newborn babies, during those late night feedings,” Michelle wrote. “You would get up and change the baby’s diaper and then bring the baby to me to feed.”

Whoa! Jim Bob changed the occasional diaper? What a guy!

“I remember early on when we started our used car business you would let the little ones ‘help’ you wash cars.”

Hey, there’s no point in having 19 kids if you’re not gonna put ’em to work, but it’s still kind of a weird memory to share as a Father’s Day tribute.

“And you are a great cook over the grill! You can make some awesome hamburgers and hot dogs!”

C’mon, Michelle! There is literally not a dad on the planet who doesn’t love to fire up the Weber for some burgers and dogs. Grill skills are only worth mentioning if your man is busting out some blackened ahi tuna, or some sh-t.

And, of course, as she does with every blog entry Michelle takes the time to remind us that she and Jim Bob had, like, a whole ton of kids:

“You took our whole family on fun bike rides. Often, I was pregnant so I would follow along behind driving our 15 passenger van with water and snacks.”

Sigh. Details like “15 passenger van” are clearly intended for the public and not for Jim Bob.

We know you guys had some serious brand rebuilding to do this year, but next year, maybe just a heartfelt card, mmm-kay?

Kailyn Lowry Regrets Divorce From Javi Marroquin: Read The Tweet

Few public relationships are harder to make sense of than Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin’s.

The former Teen Mom 2 couple are going through a divorce after four years of marriage, and it all unfolded on national television.

Lowry and Marroquin, who was deployed overseas for a time with the Air Force, have really only communicated indirectly with one another via cryptic tweets about broken hearts, starting over, going through changes, etc.

Over the weekend, Lowry wrote a tweet that may indicate her regret over deciding to proceed with the divorce.

“If your child’s father wants to be there, let him be there. Took me a while but I learned that too,” she wrote.

During the Teen Mom 2 reunion on June 20th, Marroquin admitted that she “blamed” Lowry for a miscarriage, which did severe damage to their relationship.

Lowry told Dr. Drew that her estranged husband was “not helpful, not sympathetic.” 

Marroquin tried to defend himself.

“In my mind, I knew it wasn’t her fault. I was just hurt, and I took it out on her — that was my mistake. That’s where our marriage kinda started going downhill,” he explained.

Though nothing is written in stone, Marroquin said he wants to save what he and Lowry have.

“[Isaac is] my best friend. I want to be in this marriage,” he said.

“I want all of us to be together. But her mind is set, and when her mind is set, there’s no changing it.”

Lowry has entered a new phase of her life that has allowed her to see things with an open mind.

And perhaps, unlike several Teen Moms, she’s ready to give living alone a try.

“I think it’s hard to think of the fact that maybe I could be happier without him,” she said.

“It’s a really hard pill to swallow.”

Derick Dillard FINALLY Addresses Jill Duggar Pregnancy Rumors!

For the past several weeks, rumors that Jill Duggar is pregnant with her second child have been spreading like wildfire across social media.

Multiple photos that appeared to show Jill hiding a baby bump appeared on her and Derick Dillard’s Instagram pages, and last week the rumor mill really started churning thanks to a cryptic tweet posted by Derick:

Asked point blank if he and his wife are expecting, Derick seemed to confirm Jill’s pregnancy when he tweeted that he was “not sure” when the couple would announce the big news.

Now it’s beginning to look like that was Derick’s idea of a good gag (not unlike that time he joked about the Zika virus).

After several days of social media silence, Derick once again answered some more fan questions on Twitter last night.

Most notably, of course, he addressed the big mystery on everyone’s mind:

“No, not yet,” Dillard tweeted when a fan asked if Jill is currently pregnant.

So why the abrupt turnaround?

Well, like we said earlier, Derick has a strange sense of humor that doesn’t always go over well on social media.

Our best guess is that when he hinted the couple would be making an official announcement in the near future, it was his idea of a joke.

As the Dillards have been living in a Zika hot zone, and the disease is known to cause severe birth defects in the children of infected mothers, many fans seemed to not see the humor in his remark.

Perhaps Jill pressured her husband to clear the air.

Or maybe Derick just recognized that his joke was in poor taste.

Either way, it seems we can safely say that, for now at least, Jill Duggar is not pregnant.

Robby Hayes: Will He Actually Win The Bachelorette?

One of many athletic, handsome, shady men seeking JoJo Fletcher’s heart, Robby Hayes has emerged as a frontrunner on The Bachelorette.

NOTE: The Bachelorette spoilers tell you all you need to know about the outcome this season, and are usually more accurate than not.

Let’s shelve that for the moment, though.

Based on his recent, amorous interactions with the woman of the hour, one gets the sense that he’s not going anywhere anytime soon.

Very possibly to her detriment.

Before we get into the seedy aspects of Robby’s personal life – at least what the rumors are saying – let’s go over his positive attributes.

His Instagram often features his brothers and mom, and he listed his grandma as the one person he would most like to have lunch with.

So he’s totally a family man – and, like more than a few other suitors on the current season of the ABC guilty pleasure – an athletic one.

A member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity at Florida State, Hayes set records in swimming en route to the U.S. Olympic Trials in 2012.

He was also a sales manager for Myrtha Pools USA, a model for Molinari Models and Talent, and is working on his Masters in Finance.

Robby Hayes is getting that degree at the University of Miami, when he’s not on reality shows at least. So he’s got a lot going for him.

Including a great deal of drama.

Before going on The Bachelorette, he lost a friend in a car accident, quit his job, and dumped his girlfriend of three years, Hope Higginbotham.

Later this season, Fletcher will ask if he dumped Hope to come on the program, much like JoJo grilled Jordan Rodgers this past Monday.

Should be interesting. Imagine if she knew that Chad Johnson is dating Hope Higginbotham now that he’s back from Bachelor in Paradise.

Seriously. Just insane trolling.

Whether or not Robby ends up with Fletcher’s final rose remains to be seen, but based on the situation with Hope and his dead friend?

Red flags. Just saying.
