Florida Father Accidentally Shoots, Kills Son

Tragedy has struck a family in Sarasota, Florida.

According to The Tampa Bay Times, a 64-year old man named William Brumby was with his daughter and two sons at the High Noon Gun Range on Sunday when a horrible accident took the life of one of his children.

Both eye witness accounts and surveillance footage say that Brumby was firing rounds in a shooting lane next to a wall.

A short while later, one of the shell casings hit the wall, ricocheted off of it and dropped down the back of the man"s shirt.

Brumby, a father of seven, proceeded to use his right hand (which was holding the weapon) to attempt and remove the shell casing.

As he reached for it, however, he pointed his gun behind him and accidentally fired, hitting his 14-year-old son, Stephen, who was standing behind him.

After being transported to Sarasota Memorial Hospital, Stephen passed away from his injuries.

We cannot begin to imagine how anyone in this family is feeling at the moment.

David Brumby, Stephen"s 24-year-old brother who was also at the gun range with his 12-year-old sister told a local ABC affiliate that Stephen was a sweet child.

"He was the most outgoing, gregarious, friendly, loving person you"d ever know," David said of his late sibling.

David, who was backed up by the medical examiner, also made it clear that his father did NOT point his gun at Stephen.

The bullet that struck his brother had gone up toward the ceiling and ricocheted down. It was a freak accident.

"No matter how calm you try to stay, there"s no way to wipe the images away from your mind of your little brother bleeding out in your arms," he said. 

A GoFundMe page has been gone live to assist the family with expenses related to Stephen"s death.

It is unlikely that any charges will be filed against the father.

Sean Lowe, Catherine Giudici Welcome First Child!

The Bachelor Nation baby boom continues as Sean Lowe and his wife, Catherine Giudici, welcomed their first child over the weekend!

“God is good! We had a healthy baby boy named Samuel Thomas,” the proud new dad wrote, confirming the new arrival on Saturday.

“Thank you everyone for your prayers and support.”

Giudici, Lowe’s final rose winner, added in a subsequent tweet: “I’m in love with another boy, my son Samuel Thomas Lowe.”

On Friday, Giudici teased the imminent birth of their little one. “It is time,” she wrote, crediting Rafiki from The Lion King for the quite.

The new parents met on The Bachelor in 2012 and married in a TV wedding in 2014. They announced they were expecting in December.

“The good news: baby is perfectly healthy – praise God!” Lowe wrote a few months later after sharing an Instagram sonogram photo.

“The bad news for both baby and mom: baby apparently has a big head like daddy. But how freakin’ cute is my wife?”

Very cute. Always has been.

The lovebirds, who live in Dallas, later enjoyed a “babymoon” in Palm Springs, Calif., a place near and dear to their hearts – and past.

Sean and Catherine spent some time there in secret after The Bachelor finished filming but before the finale aired, as is the custom.

“To this day, we still talk about how much fun we had just hanging out at that house, swimming, grilling and watching movies,” Lowe wrote. 

“So we’re going to try and recapture those memories,” he added, “and make some new ones too.”

As for whether Sean is ready to be a dad?

“He is the most loving and wonderful daddy to our doggies, and I know it will be exponentially better when it’s our own child,” Giudici said.

Added Lowe: “I’m most looking forward to the challenge of being as good of a father as my dad was, and still is, to me.”

“Over the years, my dad has proven time and time again that he will support me and be there for me no matter what.”

“That’s what I want to give my child as well. I want them to know that their dad will always be their biggest supporter.”

Taylor Swift Squad Gathers for July 4, Judges Tom Hiddleston

The United States of America celebrated its 240th birthday on Monday.

But, really, The United States of America celebrated another opportunity for Taylor Swift to gather all her famous friends in one place.

The singer has made it a tradition for her Squad to hang out for a massive throwdown on July Fourth every year, with the latest rendition taking place at Swift’s Rhode Island mansion.

According to People Magazine, the party featured a game of lawn football… lots of music… and an inflatable, red-white-and-blue slide with the words “Taymerica” on the side.

Because of course, right?

As depicted in the Instagram photo Swift shared from the shindig (above), those in attendance included Gigi Hadid, Blake Lively, Cara Delevingne, Ruby Rose and Uzo Aduba.

“Happy 4th from us” the 26-year-old artist captioned the snapshot, which was actually the only photo she shared on social media of the star-studded weekend-long celebration.

Meanwhile… Tom Hiddleston was also in attendance.

The English actor and suddenly serious boyfriend of Swift’s was decked out in red, white and blue jumpsuit; he was seen doing flips on the inflatable slide alongside Swift’s brother, Austin.

With insiders claiming Swift is already in love with Hiddleston, the question remains:

How do her friends feel about him?

“They all really like Tom and like how he treats Taylor,” a source tells E! News, adding:

“Things are moving fast between them but none of her friends are worried because they never have seen her this happy.”

We feel like we’ve heard that about Swift and a boyfriend before. But, hey, whatever. Who are we to judge?

This same insider adds that Swift and Hiddleston “both feel that their connection is rare.”

Just a few months ago, Swift was all about Calvin Harris. The singer and the DJ were allegedly discussing marriage.

But Taylor then dumped Harris (over the phone, some say) and immediately moved on with Hiddleston.

Did Swift actually cheat on Harris with Hiddleston? We may never know.

We do know, however, that the 35-year-old Thor star wore an “I [heart] T. Swift” tanktop as he swam in the ocean during the party yesterday.

He also had a temporary heart tattoo with his girlfriend’s initials etched onto his bicep.

We’d have to therefore imagine a proposal is on the way.

Kim Kardashian to Photoshop Critics: Eff That!

Kim Kardashian has called out her critics.

Sorry, let us try that again: 

Kim Kardashian has kalled out her kritics.

The reality star shared a behind-the-scenes video of her experience on the set of Fergie’s new music video for the song “M.I.L.F. $ ” on Sunday night, but the video came with a message.

It was short. It was simple. And it addressed those who think Kim’s waist was digitally altered for her appearance in the music video.

“F–kYoPhotoShop #Corsetlife,” Kim wrote.

We don’t know whether or not Kardashian was Photoshopped for the music video.

But we do know for certain that her figure has nothing to do with any sort of ridiculous waist training.

Fergie’s latest effort features such famous mothers as Kim, Chrissy Teigen and Ciara.

As you can see in the Kim Kardashian photos we’ve posted here, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star sports a blond wig and shows off a small waist throughout her cameo.

She does so while wearing a tight, white “Got MILF?” T-shirt and high-waist acid-washed denim booty shorts.

After the clip was unveiled last week, many folks on social speculated that the mother of two was digitally altered to look slimmer.

We can see how this would be insulting to someone who has worked hard to shed her baby weight.

This is not the first time, of course, when people have wondered whether a few retouching tools were used on Kim’s pictures.

In 2014, the irritating star famously tried to “break the Internet” by posing naked for Paper magazine, whose pictorial of her also prompted similar accusations.

Heck, some still think Kardashian wears butt pads.

“So many people have asked us, ‘Oh, is that butt…it can’t be real, it’s padded, you added to it, in retouching…’ That is all 100 percent Kim Kardashian,” Paper Editorial Director Mickey Boardman said in late 2014 of the controversy.

He added:

“We did not create a body. We did not shave pounds of her waist. That is who she is. That’s what she looks like. That’s why she’s a superstar.”

At one point in Fergie’s video, Kardashian douses herself in milk.

The result is a photo that no one believes in edited… but few hardly believe actually exists.

It features more cleavage than anyone has ever displayed in the history of mankind.
