Lindsay Lohan: I Threw My Fiance"s Phone in the Ocean as a JOKE, You Guys!

In interviews from the time when people actually cared to interview her, Lindsay Lohan said she planned to win an Oscar and be married by the time she turned 30.

Well, Lohan celebrated her 30th birthday last week, and you may be shocked to hear this, but she has yet to take home an Academy Award.

She is, however, soon to be married.

Or, we should say, she’s planning on getting married, but the wedding will likely never come to pass unless she can learn to suppress her urge to, well … act like Lindsay Lohan.

Lindsay is engaged to a Russian real estate agent Egor Tarabasov, who – though not a billionaire, as he’s allegedly claimed – is quite rich.

Therefore, she gets to live the life of a successful movie star despite not having been one in over a decade.

Lindsay spent her birthday partying with Egor in Mykonos, and at what point she allegedlt grabbed his phone and tossed it in the Aegean Sea.

It’s not the kind of behavior one expects when one is financing a high-end vacation in the Greek Islands, but that’s LiLo for you.

Her M.O. has remained unchanged for years:

She does some outrageous sh-t and then lies her ass off when asked about it.

Like we said, the press isn’t exactly clamoring for LiLo interviews these days, but the occasional tabloid takes a passing interest in her shenanigans, so Page Six asked her about the incident.

To the surprise of no one, Lindsay brushed it off as total BS designed to compromise her enviable career:

“It had to do with my friend throwing his phone case in the water as a joke because [guests] were making fun of it,” Lohan said.

“People said I personally threw [the] phone, but it’s all not true. It’s a total fabricated lie!”

Well, at least all this lying is giving her some valuable acting experience.

That Oscar’s not gonna win itself!

Animal Shelter Dreams Up Pokemon Go Idea, Restores Faith In Humanity

Perhaps this game isn’t a complete waste of time, after all.

After reading that Pokemon go characters were located at places like Auschwitz and Arlington National Cemetery, it’s refreshing to learn that some people are putting the game to good use.

The Muncie Animal Shelter in Muncie, Indiana came up with the idea to enlist players to help walk dogs while they chase after gas-burping purple creatures and the like.

And so, every Tuesday Morning volunteers can take part in “Pokemon Dogs.”

The shelter’s director, Phil Peckinpaugh, told ABC News that he came up with the idea after watching his 6-year-old daughter, Ruthie and his 7-year-old nephew play the popular game.

“I started playing with Ruthie, and it was actually pretty fun,” Peckinpaugh said.

“Then the other day, while on my way to work, I noticed droves of young people walking around playing this game. I thought, ‘Wouldn’t it be great if all those people were walking with our dogs?"”

Peckinpaugh designed a flyer incorporating characters from the game and posted it to the shelter’s Facebook page.

So far, the ad has received over 27,000 shares and over 1,000 comments.

“There’s been an incredible response, and it’s just kind of taken off,” Peckinpaugh said. “We even had to go and buy more leashes this morning.”

Those who left comments on the Facebook post encouraged their local shelters to do the same.

“Wow! Very impressed with this idea!” One person wrote.  “What a great way to combine good fun with good citizenship!”

“IM DOING THIS ON FRIDAY” another wrote enthusiastically.

The hope, obviously, is that some of these volunteers will want to recruit the dogs as their Pokemon Go teammate/forever fur child.

“Maybe you even fall in love and come back and adopt that dog one day,” Peckinpaugh said.

Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel Identified as Bastille Day Attacker

Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel has been identified as the man who killed nearly 100 people in Nice, France on Thursday night.

As previously reported, tragedy stuck this city during a celebration of Bastille Day last night, with this 31-year-old French-Tunisian allegedly plowing through a crowd of people with his truck.

He drove it nearly two kilometers, taking out a multitude of revelers in the process.

At the latest count, 84 people had been killed in the attack and over 100 injured.

However, French President Francois Hollande said this morning that the death toll is expected to rise throughout the coming days.

According to The Associated Press, he said that around 50 people are hovering between life and death as a result of Bouhlel’s unspeakable actions.

Hollande explained that the truck attack was done “to satisfy the cruelty of an individual, and maybe a group,” adding that France is “facing a struggle, which will be long.”

France attack

In light of this terrorist action, President Obama released the following statement yesterday evening:

“We stand in solidarity and partnership with France, our oldest ally, as they respond to and recover from this attack.”

Multiple eyewitnesses have also spoken to various outlets over the last 12 hours or so, documents what they saw on the street.

“There was carnage on the road,” Wassim Bouhlel, a Nice native, told The AP, saying “bodies [were] everywhere.”

Regarding Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel:

CNN says the suspected attacker was known to police for nothing more than petty crimes.

No group has yet claimed responsibility for the mass murder, althought officers are searching Bouhlel’s home in the Abattoirs neighborhood of the French Riviera city for clues or evidence.

truck crash

Aside from just driving the truck through a sea of humanity, Bouhlel has loaded up the vehicle with arms and grenades, according to the AP.

He opened his door upon eventually stopping and then opened fire, prior to being killed in a shoout with police.

We send our thoughts and prayers to the victims of this attack.
