Amanda Stanton Slams Nick Viall: What a Phony!

Nick Viall’s feelings towards Amanda Stanton were not real… at least according to Amanda!

Amanda Stanton has opened up about her time on Bachelor in Paradise and how her date with Nick Viall really went.

If you recall, Nick Viall and Amanda Stanton looked totally cute on their date, but Josh Murray appeared shortly after and Stanton’s romance with Nick was over.

Since then, Viall and Murray have been slamming one another in interviews and social media. It’s sort of the way these reality feuds go, but it’s drumming up a whole lot of publicity for their show.

Murray and Stanton obviously had a strong connection. They’re now very much engaged.

Amanda has now taken to her blog to lift the lid on what really went on between her and Nick during filming and it sure paints Nick in a bad way.

“Mine & Nick’s date didn’t go as well as it was portrayed on the show. It was a fine first date. We had good conversation. We kissed. But there weren’t those ‘sparks’ like I was hoping for.”

“Like I said, I had a crush on him before the show and had high hopes for this date. I almost felt like he was holding back because he knew he was waiting for Jen to arrive and didn’t want to lead me on,” she explained.

Amanda makes a really great point. Why should she have stuck it out with Nick if he was only waiting for someone better to come along?

Did he expect Amanda to wait around until he had exhausted every other path to love?

That’s not how it works, so thumbs up to Amanda for calling him out.

“One thing that stood out to me was that he would hold my hand or kiss me…but as soon as the cameras were off he would stop or let go of my hand.”

“Now, if someone is really into you, they’re going to show affection to you whether there are cameras on them or not. I TRULY felt like he wasn’t that into me,” she continued.

That must have hurt real bad. It sure sounds like the dude was really just using her. Pairing up early on would no doubt have secured him some more longevity in the game.

If it wasn’t bad enough that he was holding out for Jen, he then revealed that he was also holding out for Leah.

“He wanted to get to know Leah and I BOTH better and reminded me ONCE AGAIN that he was also ‘very excited for Jen to arrive.’ He told me he wanted to be on the same page as far as dating other people and made it CLEAR AS DAY that we were going to both explore our options.”

No wonder Stanton was ecstatic to accept a date with Josh!

“When Josh arrived the next morning, I didn’t hesitate to say yes to the date! I would NEVER intentionally hurt Nick or go on a date without talking to him first if we hadn’t had that talk the night before! Like I said before, Nick did nothing wrong! He really is an amazing guy and was nothing but honest with me! Can we just squash this?!”‘

Maybe Nick will think twice about trying to be a player in future.

Rogue One Trailer: Star Wars Goes Back in Time to Vader"s Heyday!

The trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story was released last night during the Rio Olympics, and it looks nothing short of epic.

We were treated to a healthy dose of Felicity Jones looking like an absolute badass, as well as Diego Luna"s rugged, handsome self.

There was even a cameo by Darth Vader himself.

While Vader’s voice isn"t heard (yet) we do hear his distinctive breathing, albeit for just a fleeting moment as the trailer concludes.

What a time to be alive for a Star Wars fan.

Not only do we have the story of Luke, Leia and The Force with The Force Awakens and Star Wars: Episode VIII, we have new spinoffs.

With Rogue One, we jump back in time to when Vader and his Empire took over the galaxy and the rebellion valiantly stood in its way.

Soon there will also be Han Solo origin stories, as Disney and Lucasfilm ensure we come as close to #PeakStarWars as humanly possible.

Rogue One, which hits theaters December 16, stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Riz Ahmed, Jonathan Aris, Ben Mendelsohn, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Jiang Wen, Forest Whitaker and Donnie Yen.

As was the case with The Force Awakens, plot details are few and far between in the trailer below – but who cares, honestly?

It"s Star Wars, so you know you"re going to see it multiple times anyway … the producers might as well keep you guessing until then.

Enjoy and tell us what you think of this first look!

Big Brother Recap: Double Eviction Time!

Double eviction editions of Big Brother always have a lot of drama. This one was no different.

With Zakiyah and Michelle still on the block, it seemed obvious that Michelle would be the one to go home.

She poses the biggest threat to Paulie and isn’t scared to speak her mind about events in the house.

If you read our Big Brother Spoilers, you’ll know there was a huge argument on Wednesday night when Michelle tried to flip the house on Paulie.

Most of it was cut out of the episode, with Julie Chen conveniently blaming it on “time constraints.”

This further backs up the fact that the game is rigged for Paulie, but will he make it much further into the game?

His ally, Paul was quick to agree to Bridgette, Natalie, Michelle and James’ plan to get rid of Zakiyah in order to shake the game up.

Victor was skeptical about the whole thing, but agreed with the decision to target Zakiyah in the end.

Who would have ever thought that Bridgette would be the one to save Michelle?

At the first eviction, Zakiyah gave a very nice speech, but Michelle threw Paulie under the bus for the things he said to Natalie.

James canceled Paul and Corey’s votes and it resulted in Zakiyah being evicted from the game

Sadly, she didn’t have a round trip ticket, so she headed for the jury house.

The subsequent HOH competition concluded very quickly, with Corey winning.

It may have taken him like 7 weeks, but Corey finally won a competition.

He tries to get pointers from his alliance about who to put up, but they were very against being in his ear.

Corey nominated Bridgette and Michelle for eviction.

Corey then made it a double and won the veto. He decided not to use it.

Bridgette’s speech was cute, but Michelle decided to go nuclear again.

She genuinely thought she was going home so she threw both Paulie and Nicole under the bus.

At the eviction ceremony, Bridgette was evicted.

She did not have a round trip ticket, so she becomes the third member of the jury.

As the episode was concluding, Julie revealed that there would be a special edition of the show airing next Friday.

Might it have something to do with the round trip tickets?

We’ll need to tune in to find out!
