Big Brother Recap: The Surprise Eviction Divides the House

It was the end of the line for one houseguest on Wednesday’s special eviction episode of Big Brother.

The host once again introduced herself as “Julie Chen Moonves,” meaning she’s brushing off all of the controversy she stirred up on Thursday night.

When the episode kicked off, the houseguests looked genuinely blindsided when they were told eviction night was coming one night early.

“One should always expect the unexpected,” said Julie, who was clearly surprised the houseguests were not shocked.

We then got to learn about what happened over the past few days, and Sam was pissed to be put on the block for the fourth time.

“These people don’t want to hurt me,” she says. “They just want the money.”

While that made sense, Sam was adamant she wanted to win the “motherf—— veto.” Sam felt safe … for now.

In her mind, Tyler was going to keep her safe until final two, so she felt like JC would be the one heading out the door during the surprise episode.

Kaycee, Angela, and Tyler watched JC from the HOH room, and they could see that he was visibly defeated.

He was alone following Brett’s eviction and feels like he has no fight left in him.

JC used this to his advantage when he chatted with Tyler about being on the block.

“I need to remind you I’m your friend, not your pawn,” JC said, adding:

“If you win the veto and you pull me off, [Angela] has to put Kaycee.”

But this only further turned Tyler against him because he felt like JC was putting him in an impossible spot.

At the veto competition, Kaycee continued her winning streak, and Tyler continued to worry even after she decided against using the power.

“Dammit, I hate this game sometimes, man,” Tyler said to viewers. “I gotta do what I gotta do to win, but that means I have to backstab some of the best people.”

At the eviction, Sam was sent packing with a vote of 2-0, and she was surprised.

Upon exiting, she stayed classy and asked someone to deal with her belongings. In her chat with Julie, she never threw anyone under the bus, but she looked mad as hell.

Kaycee, Tyler, and JC competed in the “What The Bleep?” competition and it played out as follows:

  • Round 1: JC & Tyler get a point

  • Round 2: JC gets a point

  • Round 3: No one gets a point

  • Round 4: Everyone gets a point

  • Round 5: Everyone gets a point

  • Round 6: JC & Tyler get a point

  • Round 7: JC & Tyler get a point

Oh yes, JC actually won a competition! Given that Tyler has been the one not keeping his word, it would make sense for him to be the target.

However, there’s still a veto to play. Will Kaycee win ANOTHER veto?

Who will go home?

We don’t have long to wait to find out because another episode airs tonight at 9/8c on CBS.

Big Brother Spoilers: Eviction & HOH Results Leaked!

With all of the drama going on with Julie Chen stepping away from The Talk, many have wondered whether she’s about to be evicted from Big Brother.

While we still don’t know whether the show will even exist at this point next year, there is still a game to be played, and Wednesday’s special episode will feature a Power of Veto, an eviction, an HOH competition, and a nominations ceremony.

Thanks to reliable Big Brother Spoilers guru, REALvegas4sure, we know what will go down in the episode, and we’re about to discuss it all.

If you want to be surprised when you watch the episode, you should probably exit this page.

When Sunday’s episode concluded, Sam and JC were on the block, and Sam was the target. We already told you that Kaycee went on to win the Power of Veto competition, her fourth time winning that competition.

As expected, she opted to keep the nominations the same, meaning Sam and JC were left on the block for eviction.

Angela was vocal about wanting Sam out of the house on Sunday’s episode, and she got her wish:

Sam has been evicted!

But who went on to win the next HOH competition?

That’s where things get super exciting. JC has been good at the manipulation side of things, but as far as competitions go, he’s struggled to compete.

That all changed with one of the most crucial competitions of the summer. Tyler, Kaycee, and JC played, and JC secured the win!

It’s a shocker, for sure because it means that the others will be split up ahead of the final three. JC knew he had to make a big move, so he went with putting Tyler and Angela on the block.

This likely means that he’s trying to pull Kaycee over to his side by saying that Tyler and Angela are in a showmance and will only look out for each other.

The power to evict this round will go to the winner of the POV. Will Kaycee win for the fifth time and have to choose which of her allies to take out, or will one of the allies win?

We have no idea, but all of that will play out on Thursday’s episode.

What are your thoughts on these spoilers?

Big Brother Recap: Is Scottie Already a Target for Eviction?

When a former player returns to the Big Brother house, the general rule of thumb is that panic sets in for the houseguests who voted that player out.

That’s what happened at the top of Sunday’s episode of the CBS reality series. Everyone was seemingly happy about Scottie’s return, but he admitted to the diary room that these players voted him out.

JC was the most frustrated about the significant return because he worked tirelessly to manipulate Fessy to get him out of the game just a few weeks before.

Tyler felt like Scottie’s return was a good one because the others would have undoubtedly been trying to take him down.

As ridiculous as that sounds, he must have discounted Rockstar because she failed to win a competition throughout her time in the house.

As for Haleigh, this was good for her. She lost her only remaining ally in Fessy, and Scottie was one of her others, so it’s a win-win situation for her.

It would have been fun to see how Fessy reacted to Scottie and Haleigh being in the house together without him.

We quickly learned that Fessy threw JC under the bus during the battle back competition, and rightfully so. JC has been flying under the radar and manipulating his way through the game.

As such, Scottie was vocal in the DR about using this opportunity to get JC out of the game. The troubling thing is that if he told Tyler this, Level Six would likely leave him in the game to take him out.

JC was livid by Scottie’s surprise return and told Level Six that they need to win HOH or they would be picked off by the duo at the bottom.

Haleigh and Scottie seemingly put the past behind them, and Haleigh said that they absolutely needed to win the looming competition or they would both be on the block.

The competition found the houseguests holding on to a rope and swinging around, and get hit with pies. It came down to Tyler and Haleigh, but the former secured the win.

JC then overheard Haleigh dragging Sam through the mud for her blatant favoritism of Tyler and hoped to use it to his advantage.

Angela feels like it’s time to take shots at her allies, and tells Tyler as much by throwing JC under the bus for being a “little snake.”

But for Tyler, the best course of action is to throw the pair he’s not aligned with on the block. Those two are obviously Scottie and Haleigh.

While the scheming continued, JC and Kaycee shared their experiences of coming out. Kaycee admitted her father was accepting, but her mother struggled.

“It would be awesome if my mom could just fully accept me for who I am,” she the diary room, adding: “I know she loves me and I know she’s proud of me, I know she is.”

At the nominations ceremony, Scottie and Haleigh got to sit in seats. We’re looking at a predictable week, you guys!

Big Brother Recap: Who Did the New HOH Nominate for Eviction?

The “Sweet Shot” Head of Household competition was underway when Sunday’s episode of Big Brother kicked off.

Tyler and Angela previously said they did not want to win because they were in good standing with everyone in the house.

They had just made a faux alliance with Haleigh and Faysal aka the final two members of The Hive alliance.

By them not wanting to win, it meant that one of their allies could be sent home, but they never really cared about that.

Haleigh knew this HOH was the only way she would remain safe following Scottie Salton’s eviction.

Then there was Brett and Kaycee, who have been used as pawns multiple times over the last few weeks. They were ready to win and keep their alliance members safe.

As the competition neared its conclusion, Angela scored a 39. It was not quite the perfect shot, but it put her in the lead.

Angela slid into power, and Fessy thought that because he was in an alliance with Angela and Tyler, he too, was technically in power.

God, will this kid ever learn the rules of Big Brother?

Angela worried because she did not want to annoy any of the other houseguests, so she questioned whether to put Haleigh and Faysal up from the get-go or get to work on another plan.

As for Haleigh, she was the one who realized there was an alliance between Brett, Kaycee, Tyler, and Angela.

The four were doing a victory dance in the bedroom, and she walked in and caught them in the act.

Despite her taking the news to Fessy, he still believed that they were good with Angela and that Haleigh was overthinking things.

Faysal thought that Sam was going to be heading home this coming week, but Haleigh knew better and that she was about to be targeted for eviction.

Angela then met up with her allies to discuss nominations. She thought it was worthwhile to get Sam out while they could because it would make for an easier week.

However, her allies were not on board with that and wanted Haleigh and Fessy up on the block to ensure that one of them went home.

Angela reluctantly agreed but lied to Haleigh that the house was ready to evict Sam. Haleigh offered to go on the block to help that plan come to fruition.

“Maybe she’s just as dumb as her boyfriend,” Angela sneers in the Diary Room.

Fessy was unimpressed about the potential of Haleigh going on the block, and after getting nowhere with Angela, he turned to Tyler.

Haleigh walked in on the discussion, and each half of the showmance quickly started arguing with each other. Haleigh wanted Faysal to realize that he needed to change the way he was talking to her.

However, he whined that she had an attitude and was making it more difficult for them.

“I don’t need anyone talking down to me, and I don’t need anyone trying to speak over me,” Hayleigh complained in the Diary Room.

After more back and forth, Angela finally decided to put both Haleigh and Faysal on the block. Angela noted that the duo came to her very late in the game with the alliance offer, and felt like it was out of desperation.

Yes, Haleigh and Faysal are this week’s nominees!

Big Brother Recap: Who Did Scottie Nominate for Eviction?

Going into week three of Big Brother Season 20, we have distinct divisions in the house.

The first two evictions have been split, and with Scottie as the HOH, it was always going to be interesting to see which side of the house he picked.

When Sunday’s episode kicked off, nobody was mad about Swaggy C’s demise. In fact, everyone was mad about a stray vote that meant Faysal, Haleigh, Bayleigh, Rockstar, and Kaitlin were all worrying about what was happening.

Scottie decided to switch things up on Thursday by casting a vote to evict Swaggy, and he denied it, meaning that everyone in that side of the house wondered where the vote came from.

Haleigh has not been featured much in the episodes because she’s not exactly been playing the game. She’s trying to coast through the first few weeks before winning anything.

While we don’t know if she has the capacity of winning anything, we do know that America is not impressed with her lack of gameplay. She was gifted with an app, but not of the power variety.

It meant she had to read a novel to her fellow houseguests on-demand. Oh yes, Big Brother is not messing around this season.

As for the Power App, Bayleigh was the lucky victor and won an app that allowed her to steal the HOH’s identity in the first half of the game to nominate two people.

This was music to her ears, and she quickly checked in with Scottie to make sure she was not a target. Thus, she decided to keep her power close to her chest.

Scottie admitted off the bat that he wanted to take down Winston and Brett because he felt they were both lying to him about who they voted out in week one.

Winson’s game imploded when Sam told Scottie she knew for a fact that Winston voted to keep her and not Steve. Brett tried to turn the tide back in their direction by offering him everything under the sun.

But it was all for nothing as Scottie put Brett and Winston on the block for eviction. The only thing that could save one of them is the veto or if Sam uses her power to keep Level 6 intact for another week.

Sam finally told Kaycee and Tyler all about the power, saying that she had no idea whether she wanted to save the boys or keep it until next week when it will automatically be used on whoever is sent out of the house.

Things are getting interesting after a slow start to the season. The Level 6 alliance is dominating the game, and everyone else knows it. With Bayliegh having a power, she can help shake up the game.

Big Brother Recap: Did Swaggy C Survive Eviction Night?

Kaitlyn Herman decided to blow up her alliance in favor of making one of the biggest moves in Big Brother history, but did it all come together?

We picked up at the top of the hour with Swaggy blindsided to be put on the block by someone he thought was close to him in the game.

It turns out, every single comment you make in the game can be manipulated to benefit someone else, and that’s what happened here.

Swaggy has been open with some houseguests about his plans, and he did claim that Kaitlyn was the lowest person on the totem pole in the alliance.

It presented the perfect opportunity for Tyler to turn Kaitlyn against her allies, and it worked. Bayliegh went up to the HOH room to comfort a teary-eyed Kaitlyn.

Bayliegh admitted to the audience that she knew she would need to take a new approach to deal with the news about Swaggy.

She opened up to Kaitlyn and said that Swaggy was not immediately targeting her and that there were other targets who could be taken out instead.

Meanwhile, Swaggy, Rockstar, Faysal, and Scottie chatted in the Have Not room, and Swaggy was adamant there was still time to change the tide.

He said that the key to surviving the week would be to get through to both Tyler and Kaitlyn. Yes, Swaggy’s side of the house recognized that Tyler was the one in Kaitlyn’s ear.

Swaggy even had a chat with Sam and opened up about his troubled childhood and how he created the Swaggy persona. It was almost believable … until he hit up the Diary Room to say that he was acting.

Heck, it even made Sam question whether she should use her power on him. By the time the eviction rolled around, the house was well and truly divided.

  • Bayleigh votes to evict: Winston

  • Brett votes to evict: Swaggy

  • Kaycee votes to evict: Swaggy

  • Tyler votes to evict: Swaggy

  • Angie votes to evict: Winston

  • Haleigh votes to evict: Winston

  • Faysal votes to evict: Winston

  • Scottie votes to evict: Swaggy

  • JC votes to evict: Swaggy

  • Angela votes to evict: Swaggy

  • Rachel votes to evict: Swaggy

  • Sam votes to evict: Swaggy

Swaggy has been evicted!

Swaggy left the house but refused to hug Haleigh on the way out the door. He later found out that Haleigh was not the one to vote him out.

Awkward.

In any case, it was all down to the HOH competition to see who would have the power for another week.

It played out as follows:

  • Round 1: Kaycee eliminated

  • Round 2: Tyler, Angela, Bayleigh, Winston, JC, Brett, Haleigh eliminated

  • Round 3: Sam eliminated Round 4: All safe.

  • Round 5: Angie eliminated

  • Round 6: Faysal eliminated

  • Round 7: Both safe – Scottie & Rachel remain Tie-breaker: Scottie wins!

The final round was tense because Rachel kept getting a little too excited at the prospect of winning the competition. But when she turned her board around to Julie, it was muddled with different numbers.

With Scottie being loyal to Tyler for taking him off the block, it remains to be seen whether FOUTE will continue to lose ground.

Big Brother Recap: Who Did Kaitlyn Nominate for Eviction?

Kaitlyn Herman kicked off her reign as Head of Household on Sunday’s episode of Big Brother, and she did so in the most uncertain fashion.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you will know that Kaitlyn became Head of Household mere moments after going back on her word to her alliance, opting to vote with the Level Six alliance instead of her own.

We learned why she changed focus, and it was good old Tyler who brought on the big change in her mindset. Hours before the eviction, he pulled her aside and essentially told her she was the lowest person on the totem pole of the Foute alliance.

Tyler went as far as saying that she would be the next person eliminated because of her ties to the alliance. This made Kaitlyn change her mind and vote to keep Sam over Steve.

But the big flaw in her strategy was that it confirmed to the Foute alliance that there was a traitor amongst them, and it did not take long for everyone to realize that Kaitlyn was the one who voted against them.

There was nothing they could really do because if they rubbed her the wrong way, they could find themselves sitting pretty on the block at the next eviction.

Kaitlyn was straight up with Rockstar, Faysal, and Haleigh, telling them that she would keep them safe, but she drew the line at that.

Obviously, this was mildly concerning for the trio to hear because they thought they were in an alliance with the others, and are hearing the person who created the alliance confirm it was over.

Then again, this is Big Brother and we told to “expect the unexpected” on an episodic basis. You know one thing that we ALWAYS expect from Big Brother?

Showmances.

Bayliegh and Swaggy continued to get closer on Sunday’s episode, and it was given an unnecessary amount of screen time.

We already know that Swaggy is regretting his time with Bayliegh because now he’s seen as part of a pair in the house, and that creates a huge target.

Sam met up with Kaitlyn to dish the goodies about her power, and Kaitlyn agreed to leave her off the block. Instead, she said her plan was to nominate Winston and Scottie, and backdoor Swaggy.

To the people she didn’t trust as much, she said her target was Winston, but with Kaitlyn, there’s no telling where her loyalty really lies. She’s been a bit all over the place of late.

Before we got to the nominations, we learned that Rachel was the least trending houseguest and that meant she had a reviewer yelling insults about her gameplay for 24 hours.

Tyler was the most trending houseguest and won a power that allowed him to avoid going on the block once in the next eight weeks.

In the end, Kaitlyn nominated Scottie and Winston, putting the first part of her plan in motion.

Big Brother Spoilers: Veto Results Revealed as HOH Sets Target for Eviction

As we enter week two of Big Brother Season 20, it’s becoming clearer than ever that the house is divided.

On one side of the house, we have Winston, Angela, Rachel, Tyler Kaycee, and Brett. On the other, we have Kaitlin, Haleigh, Bayliegh, Swaggy, Faysal, and Rockstar.

There are players in the middle who are not doing much to benefit their games, but the most prominent are Sam and Steve aka the two nominees for the week.

After Tyler nominated Sam and Steve for eviction, Faysal and Swaggy got to work on Tyler to try and get one of the bigger players out of the house so that the week was not a wasted HOH.

Tyler was clear about his intention to keep the nominations the same, and that complicated things somewhat when it came to the veto competition, which was played on Saturday.

Sam, Tyler, Faysal, Scottie Swaggy C, and Steve competed in the first veto of the summer, while JC got to present. The feeds went down for over three hours, and we learned that Faysal scored a victory.

Things continued to get heated between him and Tyler because Tyler claimed that there was no way he would allow one of his nominees to be removed from the block.

Faysal wanted to save Steve so that his side of the house would have another vote, but Tyler shut it down when he said that Bayliegh would go up in his place and out the door.

That’s why when it came to the veto ceremony, both Sam and Steve remained on the block, meaning one of them will exit the Big Brother house on Thursday.

The Level Six alliance are voting to keep Sam, but they still need a vote from the other side. There’s a lot of time for scheming between now and Thursday, but plans do change in the house in a heartbeat.

The good thing for Sam is that she has a bonus life and will walk back in those doors the moment she’s evicted and will live to fight another week. Tyler is in the know about the power but wants Sam to keep it for further down the line.

The reason? She can use it on any of the first three evicted houseguests. It’s a game-changing twist for sure, and one that could get her in good graces with some of the others in the house.

There’s a genuine possibility that Sam gets to keep her power this week and save herself another week if the Level Sixers continue the scheming.

What are your thoughts on these latest spoilers? Would it be a wise move for Sam not to use her power this week?

Big Brother Recap: Who Got Nominated for the First Eviction?

The first Head of Household competition of the season aired on Thursday night’s episode, and it sent the drama in the household into overdrive.

Steve, JC, Winston, Sam, Bayleigh, Tyler, Kaitlyn, and Angela were the eight unlucky competitors fighting for the power after Swaggy opted to leave them all vulnerable.

The competition was found the players balancing across a wandering beam to pick up a ball and to target another player’s tube to fill.

Whenever a player’s tube was filled with ten balls, they were struck out of the competition. The players opted to target Steve and Sam, and it was rather predictable.

Steve was always going to be a polarizing character in the house because of his NYPD roots. Despite him lying about his career, everyone seems to think there’s something off about him.

Let’s just say his strategy to float on by for a few weeks is not going to work, and he’s going to have to battle for safety if he wants to remain in the competitive loop.

In the end, Tyler secured the win, giving him the power to nominate seven of the houseguests. Tyler was worried that Angela was blowing up his game by saying they are from the same part of the U.S.

Could he want to get some revenge by throwing her on the block? Doubtful.

Swaggy admitted straight off the bat that he did not want to save Angela because it would have ruffled too many feathers. The error of Swaggy’s ways is that he’s already burned bridges with both Bayliegh and Angela.

Angela admitted that she would not forget his disloyalty, and just like that, we have our first big feud of the season!

Tyler was on a power trip because he won the first HOH and wanted to hear everyone offer him things to get to stay off the block.

Winston seemed to offer the best of both worlds. He pitched an alliance that included them both, Brett, Angela, Rachel, and Kaycee.

Tyler, as predicted was “into that” but stressed that it did not leave him with a lot of options for the nominations. He floated the idea of putting Sam and Steve up.

But Sam was not ready to allow herself to be thrown up on the block. Instead, she pitched Tyler that she would be a solo person in the game and that it would allow her to gather intel for him.

It was a desperate move but proved she was willing to go to great lengths to get what she wanted.

Before we got to the nominations ceremony, Swaggy appeared in the HOH room and tried to push Tyler towards nominating Angela and Winston as a power move.

A chat with Bayliegh also confirmed that Swaggy was gathering up his side of the house, and Tyler ultimately decided to lay low with nominating Sam and Steve.

The game is officially on, and it’s only a matter of time before the cracks in the alliances start to crumble!

Big Brother Spoilers: Eviction and HOH Results Leaked!

Big Brother is gearing up for a special pre-recorded eviction episode later tonight that will reveal who has made it to final four while confirming the next houseguest to become Head of Household.

That means the Big Brother live feeds have been down since noon on Tuesday to conceal what happens before the telecast airs tonight on CBS.

But shutting down the prying eyes of people who obsess over the live feeds is not enough to keep the leaks from coming, apparently.

A Redditor named vegasforsure, who has been spot on with Big Brother spoilers has confirmed which unlucky houseguest was given the boot.

On top of that, they also revealed which houseguest went on to win one of the biggest Head of Household competitions of the season.

In case it wasn’t perfectly clear, the remainder of this article is full of spoilers:

Alex and Kevin were nominated on the most recent episode of the hit reality series. This was not surprising when you consider the fact that Paul, Christmas, and Josh have a final three deal.

Poor Alex thought she had Paul fighting her corner, so she had a glimmer of hope for safety when Paul emerged with the veto. He knew the jig was up and came clean to Alex that he could not use it on her.

In a bizarre turn of events, Alex admitted that she understood why and that she would make a good case for the jury to vote him as the winner of Big Brother 19.

We’re sure Alex will probably find and attack him when she gets home and watches the season back because Paul his been playing her the entire summer and she’s been falling for it.

On Tuesday, Julie confirmed to the house that an eviction was imminent and the houseguests gathered in the living room to say goodbye.

With only Christmas and Paul voting, it was a split one and Josh was forced to break the tie and send Alex out of the game.

That’s right, Alex was evicted!

Soon after, Kevin, Paul, and Christmas competed in the “What The Bleep?” competition, and Paul emerged with the win. If all goes to plan, Kevin will be the one walking out the door on Thursday night.

That will leave Paul, Christmas, and Josh as Big Brother 19’s final three contestants.

Could Kevin finally win a competition and secure his place in the final three instead of Josh or Christmas? That would make for an exciting final week of the show.

What do you think Paul will do? Are you glad Alex is out of the game?

Sound off below
