Neil Hanvey, World"s Biggest Star Wars Fan, Dies of Cancer

Neil Hanvey, considered by many to be the biggest Star Wars fan on the planet, has finally lost his battle with cancer.

He was 36 years old.

Hanvey, who was diagnosed with the disease three and a half years ago, passed away on Monday, just two days after having his latest wish fulfilled:

He was fortunate enough to attend a special screening of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, months prior to its December release.

The movie buff’s family had initiated a worldwide social media campaign in order to make this dream come true for Hanvey.

“On behalf of Neil Hanvey, his wife Andrea and all his family, we want to thank everyone who supported the #RogueOneWish campaign,” St Michael’s Hospice in England wrote in a Facebook post on Monday.

“The director of Rogue One, Gareth Edwards did all he could to make Saturday a very special day for Neil.

“Neil, his family and everyone at St Michael’s Hospice would like to say thank you to Disney, Lucasfilm and especially Gareth Edwards.”

The #RogueOneWish campaign, which kicked off in April, generated a tremendous amount of support online, including retweets from Star Wars actor Mark Hamill.

On Tuesday, Hanvey’s wife released a statement of gratitude, thanking those who had helped turn her husband’s wish into a reality.

She has set up a crowdfunding campaign to raise funds for St. Michael’s as well.

“On behalf of all our family we would like to thank everyone who has passed on their condolences following Neil’s death last night,” she said in a statement to St Michael’s.

“We would also like to thank the tens of thousands of people who supported the #RogueOneWish campaign. All the messages of love during the past week have given us a great deal of comfort during a very difficult time.

“We would also like to thank everyone at St Michael’s Hospice, especially Amy Duncan, without who #RogueOneWish would not have happened.

“All donations at Neil’s funeral will go to the Hospice’s Family Support team and will be used to fund work with children and young people.”

Last year, a terminally ill fan named Daniel Fleetwood was granted his wish to see Star Wars: The Force Awakens prior to its global release.

In 2013, director J.J. Abrams made a similar dream come true for a very sick fan of Star Trek in regard to Into the Darkness.

Rogue One – the first of many planned Star Wars spinoffs – hits theaters on December 16.

It stars Diego Luna, Felicity Jones, Forest Whitaker, Mads Mikkelsen and Ben Mendelsohn.

We send our condolences to the family of Neil Hanvey and his loved ones.

Rogue One Trailer: Star Wars Goes Back in Time to Vader"s Heyday!

The trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story was released last night during the Rio Olympics, and it looks nothing short of epic.

We were treated to a healthy dose of Felicity Jones looking like an absolute badass, as well as Diego Luna"s rugged, handsome self.

There was even a cameo by Darth Vader himself.

While Vader’s voice isn"t heard (yet) we do hear his distinctive breathing, albeit for just a fleeting moment as the trailer concludes.

What a time to be alive for a Star Wars fan.

Not only do we have the story of Luke, Leia and The Force with The Force Awakens and Star Wars: Episode VIII, we have new spinoffs.

With Rogue One, we jump back in time to when Vader and his Empire took over the galaxy and the rebellion valiantly stood in its way.

Soon there will also be Han Solo origin stories, as Disney and Lucasfilm ensure we come as close to #PeakStarWars as humanly possible.

Rogue One, which hits theaters December 16, stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Riz Ahmed, Jonathan Aris, Ben Mendelsohn, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Jiang Wen, Forest Whitaker and Donnie Yen.

As was the case with The Force Awakens, plot details are few and far between in the trailer below – but who cares, honestly?

It"s Star Wars, so you know you"re going to see it multiple times anyway … the producers might as well keep you guessing until then.

Enjoy and tell us what you think of this first look!

Zayn Malik: See His Glow-In-The-Dark Star Wars Tattoo

This might be one of the coolest things anyone has ever done.

Zayn Malik approached his latest tattoo with the intent of finding his way through a dark room.

Celebrity tattoo artist Jon Boy created a glow-in-the-dark light saber with UV ink, which he then tattooed on to Malik’s middle finger.

“May the force be with you @zayn #uvink #starwars #jonboytattoo,” Jon Boy Instagram’d after.

Malik recently revealed why he quit One Direction to make a go of it as a solo artist.

An alien spoke to me in a dream….” he told Glamour.

Are you yanking our chain, sir?

PS, he also told the glossy that his first tattoo is his grandpa’s name, Walter, in Arabic.

Regarding matters of the heart, Malik is most definitely back with girlfriend Gigi Hadid, despite rumors that they had split in June.

“Zayn and Gigi did break up, but they can likely get back together tomorrow,” a source told E! News at the time.

“It’s all very unclear what’s going on between them now. They’ve been having some issues lately that involved communication and getting along.”

Hadid was there for the singer when he canceled his June 11th performance at London’s Capital Summertime Ball.

Malik apologized to fans for canceling the event:

“Anxiety that has haunted me throughout the last few months around live performances has gotten the better of me” he tweeted.

“With the magnitude of the event, I have suffered the worst anxiety of my career.”

Hadid responded to her man’s tweet beautifully.

“Z – I’ve seen the battles you go through and the way you fight to get to a place that allows you to get up there for your fans,” she wrote.

“Your bravery in those times makes me proud, but your honesty last night proved what you’re all about, being real. Human recognizes human.

You made the best of the situation and have given your fans an opportunity to understand you better as a performer.”

Are they the cutest?

Anton Yelchin Dead: Star Wars Family Pays Tribute to Late Actor

Hollywood is in mourning at the moment.

Early Sunday afternoon, in a stunning and sad accident involving his car and a gate at his home, Anton Yelchin was killed at the young age of 27.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed that Yelchin’s body was discovered on the actor’s property, pinned between his vehicle and a gate at his residence in Studio City, California.

The coroner must complete the autopsy before an official cause of death can be declared, but preliminary results are that he passed away from head and chest injuries.

Yelchin was found by a group of friends after they went over to his house to check on the star because he failed to show up for a schedule rehearsal.

The medical examiner’s office says the car did not appear to have been properly parked before Yelchin walked toward the back of it.

It therefore rolled down the driveway and pinned him between the car and gate.

He was pronounced dead at 1:10 a.m. on Sunday.

Yelchin had starring roles in the movies Alpha Dog and Charlie Barlett, but really broke out as Chekov in the new Star Wars franchise.

In response to the tragic news, Paramount Pictures has released the following statement:

“All of us at Paramount join the world in mourning the untimely passing of Antony Yelchin.

“As a member of the Star Trek family, he was beloved by so many and he will missed by all. We share our deepest condolences with his mother, father and family.”

J.J. Abrams, the director behind the first two Star Wars movies in this rebooted franchise, also penned a note to Yelchin and shared it online.

Yelchin note

“Anton, you were brilliant,” it reads. “You were kind. You were funny as hell, and supremely talented. And you weren’t here nearly long enough. Missing you…”

Finally, Justin Lin, who directed Star Was: Beyond, which opens next month, Tweeted the following after learning of Yelchin’s passing:

Still in shock. Rest in peace, Anton. Your passion and enthusiasm will live on with everyone that had the pleasure of knowing you.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Trailer Released! Watch Now!

The first of several standalone spinoff films in the Disney"s reboot of the Star Wars franchise, the awkwardly-titled Rogue One: A Star Wars Story won"t hit theaters until December, but fans are already going nuts over the first full trailer released moments ago.

Little is known about the plot, except that it the film will detail the Rebel Alliance"s efforts to steal the plans for the Empire"s infamous Death Star,

The trailer introduces us to Jyn Erso – a rebel even by the Rebel"s standards – played by Academy Award nominee Felicity Jones.

Erso is part of a team of badasses – rogues, if you will – who are tasked with the potentially deadly mission of stealing the blueprints for the planet-destroying monolith that was blown up by Luke Skywalker in Star Wars: A New Hope.

If the chronology seems a bit confusing, allow us to break it down:

Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which recently made all of the money in the known universe, takes place about 40 years after the events of the A New Hope (aka the first film, aka just Star Wars).

The as-yet untitled Star Wars: Episode VIII will continue that story, but Rogue One, is its own thing – a rogue one, if you will – and will serve as a prequel to the entire franchise.

Get it? If not, don"t worry about it. Lots of stuff blows up in the trailer.

Teen Mom 2 Season 7 Episode 2 Recap: Custody Wars and Kidnapping

Last night on Teen Mom 2 Season 7 Episode 2, Jenelle Evans actually tried to charge her ex-fiance with kidnapping their young son.

This would be shocking if we were talking about anyone not named Jenelle Evans. But that’s not even the craziest thing that went down …

If you watch Teen Mom 2 online, you are keenly aware of the … intense history between Jenelle and her former partner Nathan Griffith.

Well, the drama was ramped up to a new level this week when Jenelle let son Kaiser spend time with Nathan’s mother. What happened?

Nathan came over, then took the kid to Boston, sending Evans into a panic (and into a blinding rage). The Carolina Hurricane ranted:

“I feel like my son has been taken from me, like I’m never gonna get my son back. I really feel like my son has been kidnapped somewhere.”

Worse yet? Nathan’s girlfriend cut Kaiser’s hair.

“That’s his first haircut, and I wanna be there for that. I want to take pictures and stuff. Don’t touch my child’s f–king hair,” Jenelle said.

“Jessica cut his f–king hair. Look at his bangs. Cut my f–king child’s hair? Really? She’s a f–king hairstylist, Tori. I’m so heated right now.”

Making things worse, Jenelle couldn’t file a complaint against Nathan or Jessica due to not having a written custody agreement in place.

Jenelle ended up calling Nathan to proclaim that he would see her in court … ironic, since she was later arrested for assaulting Jessica.

Meanwhile, over in South Dakota, Chelsea Houska was getting ALL THE FEELS about a potential proposal from beau Cole DeBoer.

“I feel like I’m gonna know if it’s gonna happen,” the mother of Aubree said, and if Cole did ask her to marry him, “I’d probably say yes.”

So cute, but there’s the Adam Lind factor.

Chelsea’s deadbeat ex wants more time with their little girl, and says he can drive now (way to go, dude). He has a license and everything!

The Housk responded by taking the train wreck to court for more child support, saying, “I guarantee he’s gonna have a bitch fit about this.”

Does feel like a safe bet with Adam Lind.

Back on the East Coast, Kailyn Lowry’s husband Javi Marroquin announced that he might be deployed overseas for six whole months.

“With me possibly leaving, I just wanna make sure I spend my free time with the ones I care about and enjoy,” Marroquin told Lowry.

And not seeing those he doesn’t.

“I’m not really worried about dinner with Jo and Vee,” he said, referring to her previous baby daddy Jo Rivera and his GF Vee Torres.

Jo and Vee, meanwhile, welcomed their own bundle of joy this week, and the little girl triggered a major case of baby fever … for Javi.

Condoms, guys. Condoms.

Finally, in the closing moments, Leah Messer lost custody to Corey Simms after a drawn-out battle for control over the former couple’s twins.

“This is what’s gonna build [the twins] to be a mature adult that’s gonna succeed in life, that’s gonna go places,” Corey said, celebrating.

“I want them to talk about college … I’m tickled pink that it happened,” Simms gushed after he was named the girls’ primary caretaker.

We didn’t get to see her reaction to the moment of truth, but earlier, she admitted, “I just have a lot of fear of the future and what it holds.”

The court seems to agree, and although she has turned things around lately, there are still some real concerns about Leah’s parenting.

Tony Dyson Dies; Star Wars Special Effects Guru Was 68

Tony Dyson – the designer and technician best known for building the original R2-D2 robot used in the first Star Wars film – has passed away at the age of 68.

Tony Dyson

According to TMZ, Dyson recently attended a convention in Holland, then promptly flew back to his home in Malta, where he seems to have died in his sleep.

His girlfriend contacted police after several failed attempts to reach Dyson.

In addition to his work on Star Wars, Dyson designed robotics and effects for several other films, including Superman II, Moonraker and Dragonslayer.

Dyson was the owner of the White Horse Toy Company and he built robots for several of the world’s largest toy and theme park companies, including Disney, Sony, and Toshiba.

He won an Emmy for his work and spent the last years of his life working as a professor, teaching the art and science of robotics to a new generation.

But of course, it’s the beloved R2-D2 for which Dyson remains best known.

Working from a design from Ralph McQuarrie, Dyson built four remote control units – two to serve as high-tech costumes for actor Kenny Baker, and two throw-away versions to be used in the famous scene in which the droid is spit out of a swamp.

Baker described his work on the film as “one of the most exciting periods of my life.”

No cause of death has been determined, and though police have ruled out foul play, an autopsy will be conducted this week.

Jason Wingreen Dies; Voice of Boba Fett in Star Wars Was 95

Jason Wingreen – the Brooklyn-born actor best known as the voice of Boba Fett in The Empire Strikes Back – has passed away at the age of 95.

Jason Wingreen

Though he appeared in over 40 films and television series during his nearly five decades in the industry, Wingreen’s greatest legacy will always be his unforgettable role as one of the most iconic bad guys in the Star Wars universe.

In addition to voicing the most badass bounty hunter in a galaxy far, far away, Wingreen played the recurring character Harry the Bartender on the classic sitcom All in the Family.

He also appeared in such television classics as The Twilight Zone, Matlock, Star Trek and Seinfeld.

Interestingly, Wingreen was chosen by producers to voice Boba Fett after he unsuccessfully auditioned for the role of Yoda.

It was not publicly known that Wingreen voiced Boba until 2000.

Wingreen says he enjoyed a  “quiet, peaceful, unencumbered life” in the decades before he was outed as one of the franchise’s most beloved figures.

After the news of his role became public knowledge, the veteran actor lived his final years as a sought-after cult figure. Wingreen says the response from fans was immediate and “the letters just never stopped.”

Sources close to Wingreen say he passed away quietly at his home in Los Angeles on Christmas Day.

Toddler Reacts in Crazy Delight to Star Wars Trailer

Look, we"re not about to go there.

We"re not about to say that the girl featured in the following video is the biggest Star Wars fan in the world because we know this is a touchy subject.

We really do not wish to incur the wrath of long-time followers of this beloved franchise.

However, we will say this. And we"ll say it with the utmost confidence:

The girl featured in this video is the cutest Star Wars fan in the world.

Footage has gone viral of her watching the first Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer… and if you think you were excited to get your initial look at this wildly anticipated blockbuster… well…

… just watch the video below.

Courtesy of our friends at My Fanatic, it features a wide-eyed toddler who isn"t just psyched because she"s seeing some cool characters, vehicles and explosions on screen.

This girl knows her stuff. She"s clearly very well-versed on the universe at hand.

Consider the way she screams "MILLENNIUM FALCON" as soon as this ship makes an appearance on screen… and then watch it again and again and again one more time.

Lord knows we did.

The precious Force is very strong with this one and we give her parents mad props for raising her so well. Job well done, Mom and Dad. We"re not joking.

Kim Kardashian: Star Wars Brought Me & Kanye West Together!

As you may have have heard, Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits theaters this week, and it’s expected to do bring in a buck or two for Disney, J.J. Abrams and company.

Never one to let a trend go un-exploited Kim Kardashian thought it would be a good time to remind the world of how the Force brought her and her husband together:

Long before Kim and Kanye West got married and brought two oddly-names little tykes into the world they were a couple of up-and-comers who ran in the same social circle.

In 2008, when Kanye still had a sense of humor, he and rapper Rhymefest pitched a sketch comedy show called Alligator Boots to MTV.

The series was never picked up, but the pilot gave us the glory of Kim in a Princess Leia costume and Kanye dressed as a stormtrooper.

“In honor of ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ being released today, I wanted to share these old pics of Kanye and me from years ago!” Kim wrote on her website today.

“We worked together on a pilot for a show called ‘Alligator Boots’ back in 2008 and I played Princess Leia.

“We had met before this project (back in 2003), but I would say this is when we first really connected. These pics are SO funny!”

We don’t know about SO funny, but they’re pretty amusing. Khloe as Chewbacca and Kris as Darth Vader definitely would’ve taken things to the next level.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens: 9 Crazy Fan Theories!

Unless you just emerged from the Sarlacc Pit, you probably know that we"re less than a week away from the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

You might also be aware that the franchise has been known to inspire just a smidge of obsessive devotion from fans, which means the Internet has been a breeding ground for wild speculation about the new film ever since the first trailer debuted last year.

Some of the theories are totally plausible. (It"s entirely possible, for example that Luke Skywalker has been left out of the film"s marketing campaign because J.J. Abrams and company don"t want to reveal that he"s gone to the Dark Side.)

Others are wackier than the Mos Eisley Cantina at last call on singles" night.

We"ve assembled a decent mix here, but we"ve mostly focused on the weird ones, because, c"mon…you"re so close to the big day, you don"t really want to be hit with any spoilers now, do you?

Imagine if someone told you that Vader was Luke"s father right before you saw The Empire Strikes Back!

Sorry, if we ruined that for you, but we have a strict policy here at THG: No advance spoiler warnings on movies that are old enough to run for president.

1. Finn is the Son of Lando Calrissian…and Princess Leia

John boyega in star wars

No one’s quite sure how the theory that John Boyega’s character is the son of Lando Calrissian and Princess, excuse us…GENERAL Leia, but you can blame J.J. Abrams for fanning the flames on this one. Asked about Finn’s lineage in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the director responded, “I will only say about that that it is completely intentional that their last names aren’t public record.” Hmm…could be something to this one.

2. Luke Skywalker is Kylo Ren

Luke skywalker is kylo ren

The latest trailers show Kylo Ren pledging to his allegiance to Darth Vader’s battered helmet. Luke isn’t seen in any of the trailers and he Is Vader’s son, so…eh, we’re not buying it.

3. Boba Fett is Back!

Boba fett photo

Die hard fans have noticed that the first trailer features a banner with a Mandalorian insignia. The franchise’s most badass bounty hunter just happens to hail from Mandalore. Of course, even if he shows up, he probably end up not doing jack squat again.

4. You Can Watch The First Two Minutes Online!

Star wars the force awakens opening scene

Some fans believe that a completed cut of the first two minutes of the film has leaked online. The fact that there’s a typo in the iconic text crawl leads us to believe they’re mistaken.

5. Han Solo Dies!

Harrison ford as han solo photo

This one’s not actually all that ridiculous. We could easily imagine Han going out in some noble fashion. After all, we can’t imagine Harrison Ford signing on for endless sequels. It would be tragic, but less horrific than if…

6. Chewbacca Dies!

Chewbacca dies

The first trailer showed a grieving Rey in the same frame as a tuft of hair. Is it Chewie?! Could be! Of course, it also be come random Wookie.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens New Trailer: Spoiler Alert?

As you may have heard from your friends, family, neighbors and approximately 47,000 product tie-in commercials (Seriously, we"re waiting for the reveal that Fan Duel is controlled by the Sith.), the theatrical release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens is just around the corner.

We"ve seen about a half-dozen different Force Awakens trailers at this point, and with just one week left until the premiere you might think that J.J. Abrams and company won"t be giving away any more info about the most-hyped movie since…well, since the last Star Wars trilogy.

Indeed, it looks as though the plan was to withhold any further information until December 18, and your nerdiest Facebook friend will post a 14,000-word plot summary on Facebook.

Unfortunately, Disney, Lucasfilm, et al were overruled by…a Chinese boy band?

Yes, China is on track to surpass the US as the world"s largest movie market by 2017. As such, there are many, many people in the Far East who have a lot invested in the success of the Star Wars film.

Marketing works a bit differently over there, which explains this new Chinese trailer released today.

For starters, it"s introduced by a singer from a Chinese boy band that recently released a Star Wars-themed single entitled "Lightsaber."

Additionally, it appears that Chinese audiences aren"t as concerned about spoilers as Americans are, because this clip contains lots of  footage and dialogue that had previously been kept under wraps.

So if you"re not big on surprises, enjoy!

However, if you want to wait another week to find out what the deal is with Kylo Ren, just watch the hilarious Force Awakens Honest Trailer again. It never gets old.

Daniel Fleetwood Dies; Terminally Ill Star Wars Fan Was 32

Daniel Fleetwood  – the terminally ill Star Wars fan who inspired the #ForceForDaniel campaign – has passed away at the age of 32.

As we reported earlier, Fleetwood suffered from spindle cell sarcoma and was aware that he didn’t have long to live. His dying wish was to see the completed version of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which isn’t slated for release until next month.

His wife, Ashley, enlisted fellow Star Wars fans to help convince filmmakers to allow Daniel to see the movie a few weeks early, as doctors believed that he might not make it to the December 18 release date.

Franchise stars like Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher expressed their support for the campaign, and last week Daniel got his wish.

Director J.J. Abrams contacted the Fleetwood family to arrange a screening, and Ashley offered elated updates on the experience via Twitter:

“To all our wonderful supporters, friends, family and awesome strangers: Daniels final dream was just granted!!! Today the wonderful Disney, Bad Robot and Lucasfilm teams made his final dream come true, Daniel just finished watching an unfinished version of Star Wars: The Force Awakens!!!

“We would like to thank the awesomely talented JJ Abrams for calling us yesterday to tell us Daniel was getting his wish granted! Lastly I want to thank ALL the amazing people who helped make this happen!!! May the force be with you all smile ‪#‎forcefordaniel‬.”

While Daniel’s passing is beyond tragic, the fact that his final days were defined by the devotion of his family and friends, and his passionate love for his favorite films offers a tiny silver lining.

May the force be with you, Daniel.

Star Wars The Force Awakens: NEW FOOTAGE!

We don"t want to get overly excited.

We want to remain calm and keep perspective and not prove that this Honest Trailer has us pegged perfectly, but… well.. we can"t help it:

NEW FOOTAGE FROM STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS IS HERE!!!!!!!

That feels worthy of all capital letters, don"t you think?

This Japanese preview begins in the same way as a previous Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer, with Daisy Ridley’s Rey on the plant of Jakku.

Unlike earlier sneak peeks at the film, however, the focus in this case is on Rey’s companionship with the droid BB-8, who we see and here doing plenty of endearing R2D2-esque beeping and chirping.

My, how we"ve missed those sounds.

Via narration, we then hear the pirate Maz Kanata (played by the amazing Lupita Nyong’o, who we’re yet to see in any trailer) asking Rey questions about her identity, one of which prompts a fascinating response:

“I know all about waiting. For my family.”

Hmmm… sounds a bit like Rey – long speculated by fans to be the daughter of Luke Skywalker or Princess Leia – was abandoned on Jakku for some reason.

But what"s the reason? Who is she, exactly? Oh, and is it December 18 yet?!?

Check out the new preview to also see John Boyega’s controversial Stormtrooper Finn watching the horizon as TIE fighters come in, seemingly intent on destroying Rey"s home planet.

But enough from us, right? Watch the trailer now and begin to formulate your own theories.

Terminally Ill STAR WARS Fan: Dying Wish Granted

Prepare for the feels.

Daniel Fleetwood, 32, was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer in July, and given only a few months to live.  His dying wish was to see STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS, the franchise’s latest installment.

So, Fleetwood’s wife, Ashley asked Twitter for a little help.

“#forcefordaniel help my man get his last wish, to see a screening of Star Wars before cancer takes him. @bad_robot,” she tweeted.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Fleetwood, who has been a STAR WARS fan since he was a kid, was afraid he “wouldn’t make it” until the December 18th release.

Through the power of social media, director J.J. Abrams saw the tweet, and put things into motion for Fleetwood.

“It was an amazing experience!” Ashley told ET of Daniel’s big day.  She went into more detail via Facebook:

Star Wars Honest Trailer: May the Hilarity Be With You!

This may be a first:

Screen Junkies, the good amazing folks behind endlessly entertaining Honest Trailers, have created a new version for a film that has not even been released yet.

But it"s one you"ve likely heard of: Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Does that ring a bell?

Because the film hasn"t actually opened yet (DECEMBER 18, people!!!!), this edited preview doesn"t make fun of the plot or the story itself.

Instead, it sets its sights on the out-of-control anticipation surrounding the seventh episode in this iconic chapter.

"We could show you two hours of a monkey washing a cat and you"d still go see this movie…twice," the Honest Trailer says at one point.

"Who are you?" the narrator also asks Daisy Ridley"s character as the trailer opens, to which she replies:

"It depends who you ask, there"s a lot of fan theories floating around. But you can back-order a tiny version of my droid for $ 150."

The footage also makes fun of some of the less-appreciated (that"s a generous description, huh?) prequels that Star Wars fans wish they could forget, pointed out that The Force Awakens will (hopefully!) usher in a new era.

"The prequels…they"re gnawing at you…just let them go," intons the narrator, before the logo appears with the following statement:

"It"s on you, Abrams."

But no pressure, man. No pressure at all.

Check out the Honest Trailer below and then view the actual Force Awakens trailer by following our link.

May the humor be with you.

Star Wars The Force Awakens: Watch the Final Trailer!

Non-football fans around the nation were tuned in to ESPN on Monday night.

To see whether the Giants could defeat the Eagles and settle in to first place in the NFC East? Not quite.

But to view the final, official, full-length trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which aired at halftime… and which did not disappoint.

The footage opens with a question (“Who are you?”) and an answer from Daisy Ridley’s Rey: “I’m no one.”

We hear from John Boyega’s runaway stormtrooper Finn, along with Adam Driver’s villainous Kylo Ren, who speaks to a scorched Darth Vader mask and intones:

“Nothing will stand in our way. I will finish what I started.”

There’s Han Solo, confirming all the stories about the dark side and the Jedi. And there’s Princess Leia giving him a hug.

But where"s Luke?!?
