Tom Hiddleston Has HAD IT With Taylor Swift

Tom Hiddleston has to prepare for the Emmys later this month, but instead he has to deal with his seemingly high-maintenance girlfriend, Taylor Swift.

The Night Manager star is an A-Lister in his own right, but his romance with Swift has put him into a different category of fame, and one he’s not exactly pleased with.

“Tom can’t deal with being a laughing stock and has told Taylor he’s done unless there’s a 360-degree change on her part,” a source told Radar Online.

“It’s become a total charade and Tom is sick of being treated like a glorified escort.”

To be fair, Hiddleston looked to be enjoying himself over Fourth of July weekend, splashing around in the surf wearing an “I Heart T.S.” tank top.  So, Swift could be forgiven for thinking she’s got the upper hand in this relationship.

Hiddleston is filming Thor: Ragnarok in Australia, but he’s reportedly been flying all over the world at the 26-year-old’s request.

“Tom is just done with it,” the source added.

“It bothers him so much that they’ve become known as this fauxmance laughing stock.”

Hiddleston attempted to the do the grown-up thing and confirm his relationship with Swift back in July.  After learning he was nominated for Lead Actor in a Limited Series or Movie, the British actor agreed to do press.

The Hollywood Reporter skirted around the question until finally asking if he and Swift were the real deal, and what he had to say to those who though their romance was just for show.

“Well, um. How best to put this?” Hiddleston started politely, as most Brits do.

“That notion is — look, the truth is that Taylor Swift and I are together, and we’re very happy. Thanks for asking. That’s the truth. It’s not a publicity stunt.”

Hiddleston had to expect this kind of attention when he and Swift started dating after the MET Ball back in May.

Swift did not attend the MTV Video Music Awards on August 28th, but it’s believed that she will accompany to the Emmys on September 18th.

A source told THG recently that the reason Hiddleston and Swift got together was because the Brit “needed to improve his pulling power, and [her] PR team decided to take advantage of that in a way that would also benefit Taylor.

“Tom is the ‘it’ man right now, so they thought that it would work,” the source added.

“Taylor is an attractive girl with a big bank account and a lot of fame.”

How did Hiddleston see dating Swift as a great image boost, while the rest of of us saw it as career suicide?

Beyonce Turns 35: A Birthday Tribute

The world’s most popular celebrity turns 35 years old today.

Yes, we’re talking about Beyonce.

Do you really want to object to this statement?

Who else would you like to nominate for this distinction?

Justin Bieber? Yeah, right. We didn’t say the world’s most shirtless douchebag.

Tom Hanks? Sure, everyone loves Tom Hanks. But they don’t worship Tom Hanks. They don’t bow down in front of Tom Hanks. They just think he’s a great actor and really nice guy.

Chris Brown? Just kidding.

So that leaves us with Beyonce.

She has her detractors, yes. Just ask form New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani how he feels about her proactive stance when it comes to the Black Lives Matter movement.

But we still challenge anyone to find a celebrity who is more universally beloved and respected than Beyonce Knowles.

Just consider:

She makes her voice heard on important topics.

She remembers friends, many years after they pass away, and she makes sure everyone else does as well:

She handles rumors of infidelity by taking charge of the narrative.

Heck, she handles rumors of infidelity by selling millions of records, nearly breaking the Internet and dominating the music conversation for months:

She takes over a Super Bowl halftime show even when she is not the featured performer:

She keeps her child out of the spotlight, except for the occasional event when she dresses similarly to Blue Ivy and simply stuns on the red carpet.

We direct you to last month’s MTV Video Music Awards:

She simply owns every single awards show at which she performs.

If we were any other singer, we’d refuse to take the stage after a Beyonce performance. There’s just no way of looking good afterward.

Beyonce is so loved that Saturday Night Live created a skit based around The Beygency, which is an organization that goes after anyone that dares to speak ill of the artist.

She’s reached heights all other celebrities can only dream of.

And she turns 35 years old today!

So please join us in saluting this global superstar, who seems as comfortable at home in her pajamas as she does singing for the President of the United States.

Is she Jesus Christ, as Adele once stated on stage?

We may not go that far.

But we’d consider it.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BEYONCE!

Lena Dunham Issues Formal Apology to Odell Beckham Jr.

Lena Dunham would like to put this month’s most unexpected feud to rest.

She’d like to apologize to New York Giants star Odell Beckham Jr.

The Girls actress and creator stirred up a bit of controversy this week after making comments to Amy Schumer in an interview for the Lenny Letter website.

Dunham thought back to this spring’s MET Gala in New York City and her awkward experience there, talking to Schumer about what it was like to sit next to Beckham Jr.

“It was so amazing because it was like he looked at me and he determined I was not the shape of a woman by his standards,” Dunham explained.

She went on to make some big assumptions about what the wide receiver was thinking.

Although the main crux of her point was how she did not fit in such at this sort of fashionable event.

“He was like, ‘That’s a marshmallow. That’s a child. That’s a dog.’ It wasn’t mean – he just seemed confused,” Lena continued.

“The vibe was very much like, ‘Do I want to f-ck it? Is it wearing a … yep, it’s wearing a tuxedo. I’m going to go back to my cell phone."”

Critics came out in force after Dunham made these comments because they were based solely on conjecture and they didn’t pain Beckham Jr. in a great light.

Dunham concluded at the time:

“It was like we were forced to be together, and he literally was scrolling Instagram rather than have to look at a woman in a bow tie.

“I was like, ‘This should be called the Metropolitan Museum of Getting Rejected by Athletes."”

After reading the backlash, Dunham Tweeted that Beckham was “super awesome” and she was simply being self-deprecating.

Her comments were all about her and not about him at all.

But now she’s issued a more formal apology.

“I owe Odell Beckham Jr an apology,” Dunham wrote on Instagram yesterday.

She added:

“Despite my moments of bravado, I struggle at industry events (and in life) with the sense that I don’t rep a certain standard of beauty and so when I show up to the Met Ball surrounded by models and swan-like actresses it’s hard not to feel like a sack of flaming garbage.”

She continued:

“This felt especially intense with a handsome athlete as my dinner companion and a bunch of women I was sure he’d rather be seated with.

“But I went ahead and projected these insecurities and made totally narcissistic assumptions about what he was thinking, then presented those assumptions as facts.

“I feel terrible about it.”

For the record, Beckham Jr. is one of the most exciting players in the NFL and may have dated Khloe Kardashian this summer.

He has not commented on the flap.

With accusations of white privilege and reverse sexism floating around the Internet, Dunham concluded as follows:

“Because after listening to lots of valid criticism, I see how unfair it is to ascribe misogynistic thoughts to someone I don’t know AT ALL. Like, we have never met, I have no idea the kind of day he’s having or what his truth is.

“But most importantly, I would never intentionally contribute to a long and often violent history of the over-sexualization of black male bodies- as well as false accusations by white women towards black men.

“I’m so sorry, particularly to OBJ, who has every right to be on his cell phone.

“The fact is I don’t know about his state of mind (I don’t know a lot of things) and I shouldn’t have acted like I did.”

Seems like a pretty in-depth apology to us.

Case closed? Case closed.
