Khloe Kardashian: Shaded by Tristan Thompson"s OTHER Baby Mama!
Khloe Kardashian had her baby shower, and it was an opulent and very pink celebration.
Everyone is happy for Khloe and Tristan … except, perhaps, for Tristan’s ex and other baby mama, Jordan Craig.
She took to social media to throw shade at the otherwise joyous occasion.
Kim Kardashian is very pregnant with Tristan Thompson’s baby.
That’s so wonderful for both of them.
But … does anybody remember how the two of them first met?
Tristan and Khloe met at Kevin Hart’s wedding to Eniko Parrish. You know, the latest wife on whom Hart has cheated.
At the time, Tristan was with Jordan Craig … who also gave birth to his son, Prince Oliver.
And yet … look at what Jordan was posting on social media.
That caption reads:
“Less Bitter, More Glitter.”
After that catchy little rhyme, there’s:
“Positivity always wins. Remember that.”
The message is nice, but it’s the timing of the photo itself — posted the day after Khloe Kardashian’s baby shower — that drives home the meaning.
See, this isn’t the first time that Jordan’s thrown shade at Khloe and Tristan’s relationship through vague social media posts.
The day after news of Khloe’s pregnancy broke, Jordan posted the first-ever photo of Prince Oliver to the internet.
It is almost impossible to dismiss the timing of that as a coincidence.
It is widely believed that Jordan was reminding everyone that Tristan already has a child and that she is and will always be his baby mama.
Some wonder if Khloe’s palpable disappointment when she learned that she’s expecting a girl was in part because she knew that Tristan already had a son with Jordan.
Regardless, it looks like Jordan’s photo was designed to imply that she’s better off and also a better person for holding back what she’d like to say to Khloe and Tristan.
As for Khloe’s baby shower, RadarOnline has a description of the event, which took place at the Bel Air hotel.
“They went all out for the shower with no expense spared and it’s turned out to be stunning and gorgeous.”
Kris, Kendall, Kylie, Kim, and Kourtney were all in attendance.
“The shower is very pink with thousands of pink flowers everywhere including hundreds of stems hanging from the ceiling that create an amazing first impression as guests walk in.”
That sounds very opulent and very, very Kardashian.
(Also just … incredibly pink. Did you know that pink was associated with boys until about 100 years ago? The color-gender association is never not weird)
Normally, we might get a nice chuckle out of a jilted ex throwing shade at a Kardashian.
But in this case, it’s just … sad.
Not just sad for Jordan, because she’s bitter at Tristan and perhaps even at Khloe for their shared happiness.
No, sad for Prince Oliver. And sad for Khloe’s unborn daughter. Those are half-siblings who may have a strained relationship that won’t be of their own making.
Why? Because apparently Jordan Craig, despite her words, is still bitter enough that she wants her followers to know how very “not bitter” and “over it” she is.
Is it too much to hope that they might all bury the hatchet for the sake of the children?
… Probably.
