Did Kim Zolciak hold back when it came to confronting Kenya Moore?
That was a huge question as we headed into The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 9 Episode 20, when the former star made an appearance at Sheree Whitfield’s housewarming party.
When the episode got underway, Sheree was planning the housewarming party, but she realized she was not going to have appliances for the event. Yes, that meant she was going to have all the food ordered in.
It’s a win for the guests. Right?
We switched gears to Kandi, who was urging Riley to meet up with her father to have a father-daughter relationship. It took some time, but Riley decided to meet her father… if Kandi went along with her.
Things went from bad to worse as he asked Riley to play the song Kandi had written for her. As you probably know if you watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online, that song is about having a deadbeat dad.
Unsurprisingly, it turned into a heated exchange between Kandi and Block, with Block feeling like Riley had been brainwashed by her mother.
Block seemed to think Kandi should have forced Riley to reach out to him. Clearly, he did not understand that he should have been the one to do so.
Kandi barked at Riley to put her phone away.
“He’s the adult. I’m the child. It’s not brainwashed because no one had to tell me,” she said, before adding to her father, “You’re brainwashed.”
Riley then revealed that she would be willing to try to forge a relationship, but did not seem all that certain.
Elsewhere, Johnny Winston met up with Phaedra because her company confirmed they would be moving ahead with his lawsuit against Kandi.
ICYMI: Johnny’s the dude from earlier in the season, who said Kandi paid him unfairly and treated him like trash. It was evident Phaedra was glad about her frenemy being sued.
Todd Tucker was not impressed when Kandi got the call that she was going to be sued.
“Get the f–k out of here,” Kandi’s husband, Todd, said. “He ought to be ashamed of himself,” Kandi added.
Kandi dropped the bomb that she was sure Phaedra was behind it and vowed to find out the truth.
While the drama was going into overdrive, Porsha went to her father’s grave with her sister Lauren. Porsha commented that she had such a good relationship with her father.
She even admitted that she and Todd could proceed with their relationship, but was unsure whether he was “the one” for her.
Still, this is a complete change of pace from her getting ready to call time on their relationship.
When the party got underway, Kenya made it her mission to pick out all the flaws with the house. She found construction materials and somehow came to the conclusion that Sheree’s house was far from ready to live in.
Yes, she’s always been a little deluded, but give Sheree a break. Just as the drama started to get crazy, Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann showed up to stir up the drama.
Sheree was annoyed with Kenya going down to the basement to check the state of the house.
“You don’t come in somebody’s house and go in the basement!” she barked at a confused Kenya.
Kenya, however, opted to go the sarcastic route and claimed she had no idea Kim was even there. Then, Kenya and Sheree bickered about whose house was better.
“At least I don’t look like I’ve had five kids!” Kenya shouted at Kim, bringing her back into the fight.
“At least I have six kids!” Kim shouted back. Burn! We’ve missed Kim.
Kenya continued her tirade of terror and trashed Kroy for not having a job.
“Your husband doesn’t have a job right now,” Kenya screamed at her enemy.
“Bitch, you want to be me. You want to have a baby — you can’t! You want to have a man — you don’t!” Kim screamed.
“Bye!” Kenya fired back, “I know I’m not a duck, like your lips.”
Kim replied, “Your tits are so nasty and huge!”
With the big fight out of the way, Kandi revealed to Phaedra that Apollo Nida’s girlfriend had shown up at the restaurant to represent him. Kandi was quick to point out that she did not know it was happening.
Phaedra and Kandi put their feud aside, but Phaedra told the camera they would never be friends. Naturally, Kandi tried to find out the truth about the lawsuit.
As expected, Phaedra could not confirm it, but Kandi knew the answer.
