The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 2 Episode 2 Recap: All Tea, All Shade

Was Gizelle’s new man someone who the other ladies liked?

That was finally revealed on The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 2 Episode 2, but some of the other wives had too much drama to care about Gizelle’s reveal.

When the episode got underway, Ashley was trying to come to terms with the terrible opening for her restaurant. Anybody in that situation would be worrying.

It was a soft opening, that’s for sure. Would she be able to turn it around before it became the laughing stock of Potomac? In any case, Charisse and Robyn wanted to help out.

The two women went in for a spot of lunch and opened up about Katie, who was not returning for Season 2 of the Bravo series.

The ladies later came together for Katie’s Casino Royale event, but it was not all that. It was by no means lavish and did not look like something worthy of a spot on the show.

All was not lost, however. New cast member, Monique Samuels appeared before the night was over with the hopes of making a lasting impression on her new cast mates.

Gizelle then went out with her new man and noted that his persistent buying of gifts is not actually why she likes him. Yes, we believe you, Gizelle!

Ashley was shocked to learn just how much of an impact the failure of her restaurant was having on her finances.

She and her husband even came to the conclusion that they could not start having children until they turned the establishment around.

It must be difficult to hear a business venture has been a bust, but this one seems like a colossal flop. This does seem like a way to cause some drama for the cameras.

Hell, we’re buying it, so keep the drama coming.

Meanwhile, Monique invited the ladies to work out with her. She felt that this would help bring them all closer together, or something.

To be fair, the ladies did not really get to work out. Instead, they made it their mission to drink as much champagne as possible.

In other words, it was a successful “work out” session.

Gizelle solidified herself as the villain of the season by questioning whether Monique had enough money and followers to be in with the cool kids.

If Gizelle was planning on feuding with the whole cast, she’s going the right way about it.

Monique, however, was not ready to roll over and accept defeat. She confirmed her finances were in great shape and that she had four horses.

Gizelle retreated, but it seemed like the claws were coming back out when Monique told the ladies she wanted to be a rapper growing up.

While Gizelle ignited a feud with Monique, she was ready to fix things between her and Charisse. The two women decided there was no point in continuing their feud.

When that was all over, Karen decided to throw Robyn under the bus for trashing Gizelle.

Sigh, there is constant arguing on this show, and we’re actually starting to dig it for that reason.

What did you think of all the drama?
