Josh Murray has been trying to find love on reality TV for a few years now.
After appearing on The Bachelorette, Famously Single and Bachelor in Paradise, you would think the 32-year-old would be in a loving relationship by now.
Unfortunately, finding that special someone is not the easiest thing to do, especially when you have an attitude as bad as Murray’s.
God, we’re having flashbacks of all the crap he pulled during The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise. That could all be attributed to his rivalry with fellow contestant, Nick Viall, but still, the dude was not the nicest.
It appears that Josh is now over trying to find love on reality TV and will instead keep his heart for when the cameras are not rolling.
“I feel like it’s time I [do some] dating outside of that TV world,” he confirmed to People.
“It’s very tough around cameras because you don’t get to learn everything that person…You get to learn a lot after you leave the show.”
“I don’t see myself doing [reality TV] at all, but who knows what’s going to happen,” he added.
He does make a point. Both of his reality TV relationships have flourished in front of the cameras but faltered in the months that followed.
If you watch The Bachelorette online, you will likely remember Josh was the one who won Andi Dorfman’s heart in 2014. The relationship was not long for this world, and they went their separate ways in 2015.
Josh then moved on to Famously Single, which was a reality TV show about Z-listers who were struggling to find love. Despite some major breakthroughs, Josh emerged from it without love.
He then appeared on ABC’s Bachelor in Paradise and pulled a robbery on Nick Viall, stealing Amanda Stanton from him. All seemed to be going well for them, with the pair getting engaged on the season finale.
However, the cracks began to appear months later, and the couple parted ways. It later emerged that they were giving their relationship another go, but then came reports that Josh had the car he bought for Amanda taken away.
With the news that Amanda is returning to Bachelor in Paradise for another shot at love, Josh was very supportive of her decision, while confirming he would not be getting back together with the blonde beauty.
Could you imagine if this was all a ruse to have him appear on this summer’s Bachelor in Paradise? Amanda Stanton would likely ditch the show because, well, it’s not like they parted on the best of terms.
ABC unveiled the first batch of contestants for the fourth season of the frothy reality series, and the only one we really care about is Corinne Olympios.
That girl can effortlessly bring the drama, so we’ll be hooked once again.
What do you think of Josh’s declaration? Do you believe him?
