Jenny Slate: Comedian Dumps Her Husband For Chris Evans?!

Actress and comedian Jenny Slate is one of those entertainers whom you’ve almost certainly seen before, but you’ve probably given little to no thought to her personal life.

Frankly, she probably preferred it that way.

But like it or not, Ms. Slate’s name is making the rounds in the world of celebrity gossip today thanks to a rumored love triangle involving none other than Captain America himself.

Sources say Slate and Chris Evans are a full-blown couple these days, which is odd, as Slate has been married to Dean Fleischer-Camp since 2012.

Apparently, Slate and Camp separated last week – not long after Slate and Evans wrapped filming on the upcoming drama Gifted.

In retrospect all the signs were there.

The actors recently gushed about one another during an episode of Anna Faris’ podcast:

“I didn’t know what to expect when I met Chris. I was a little scared because I kind of felt like, Well, I don’t know him. He’s a giant man with huge muscles and he’s Captain America. How could we ever connect?” Slate said.

“[But the] first night that we hung out, I was like, Wow, I could hang out with Chris for, like, 90 hours.”

Evans echoed the sentiment, saying, “Oddly enough, I’ve only known Jenny for a few months, which is insane to say because we’re like the same animal.”

In the past, Evans has been linked to Jennifer Lawrence, Elizabeth Olsen, Minka Kelly, and Sandra Bullock.

It may sound like he gets around, but friends say Evans is actually a serial monogamist who’s just looking for the right girl.

In any case, they may have started under sketchy circumstances, but we like Evans and Slate as a couple.

If for no other reason than Slate deserves more starring roles, and someone with Chris’ clout might be able to make it happen, we hope these two work out.

Garry Shandling Dies; Beloved Comedian Was 66

Garry Shandling – the comedian best known as the star and creator on the sitcoms It’s Garry Shandling’s Show and The Larry Sanders Show – has passed away at the age of 66.

The cause of death is unknown at this time, and sources close to Shandling say he was not being treated for any illnesses.

Shandling’s contribution to the world of TV comedy cannot be overstated.

With Larry Sanders he pioneered the single-camera, laugh track-free format that would later be mimicked by such series as The Office, Modern Family, and 30 Rock.

Shandling and his writers also helped to establish the ribald-yet-highbrow style of humor that continues to define HBO sitcoms to this day.

Shandling racked up dozens of film and television roles in his genre- and generation-spanning career.

Younger fans have taken to Twitter to mourn the loss of the man they know as Senator Stern from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Comedians, on the other hand, are singing Shandling’s praises as master of the art of standup, as well as one of the world’s most widely-imitated television writers.

Shandling made the leap from advertising to comedy in 1973 when he sold a script for the classic sitcom Sanford and Son.

Little he did know then that he would forever change the face of TV comedy.

Stevie Ryan: Comedian Mocks Farrah Abraham, Daughter Sophia

You may remember Stevie Ryan from the time she exposed Nathan Griffith when he was attempting to cheat on Jenelle Evans.

So we already know that Stevie thinks Nathan is an idiot, and now the comedian is sharing other not-so-controversial opinions about Teen Mom"s biggest trainwrecks.

Hey, just because they"re easy targets doesn"t mean you shouldn"t take the shot.

Some will say that Stevie"s latest Instagram video (below) goes too far, as it pokes some fun at Farrah Abraham"s 6-year-old daughter, Sophia.

Of course, what Stevie is really making fun is Farrah herself, as well as her willingness to involve her offspring in random celebrity feuds.

In case you"re a Teen Mom fan who somehow wasn"t aware, Farrah is beefing with Nicki Minaj at the moment.

Naturally, the semi-literate Farrah is getting owned by Nicki, who basically talks smack for a living, so in a recent moment of desperation, the always-classy Ms. Abraham recorded her daughter calling Nicki a "loser."

So when she busts out her Sophia impression in this clip, Stevie is really mocking Farrah and her willingness to settle her disputes by having her first grader bust out Donald Trump"s favorite insult on social media.

Did Stevie cross a line? Maybe. But Farrah definitely had this coming.

Bill Cosby May Be Facing Another Deposition, This Time Over Janice Dickinson"s Defamation Lawsuit Against The Comedian

The heat is turning up on Bill Cosby — again.

The comedian is already being sued by Janice Dickinson for defamation — in addition to all of his legal and social troubles surrounding repeated sexual assault allegations from dozens of women — and now Dickinson has filed paperwork to have Cosby deposed!

The deposition would be an interesting development, since Cosby would be grilled hard regarding his alleged past of drugging women and having sex without their consent.

Dickinson’s lawyer, Kaprina Vallecillo, stated:

“I am informed and believe that when forced to answer questions under oath about his predatory behavior, Mr. Cosby has admitted to drugging women for the purpose of having sex with them. Yet he has often branded his victims as liars, through his attorneys.”

The disclosure on the complaint continues:

“Defendant Cosby knows that he drugged and raped Ms. Dickinson. He knew that calling her rape disclosure a lie was a false statement.”

If it happens, this wouldn’t be the first deposition that Cosby has undergone this year; earlier this summer, a scandalous deposition was released that dealt with a lawsuit brought against Cosby by a woman named Andrea Constand.

Surely, a Dickinson-related deposition would likely reveal more about Cosby’s alleged sexual history.
