Kim and Khloe Kardashian Play the "Kylie Pregnancy Game"
Kim Kardashian apparently does not read The Hollywood Gossip.
It provides us with some solace, however, to at least realize that she doesn"t read the Internet at all.
That"s our main takeaway from this sneak peek at this Sunday"s Keeping Up with the Kardashians episode, as Kim confides with Khloe early on about the major secret everyone in the family has been tasked with… well… keeping.
This secret is that Kylie Jenner is pregnant with Travis Scott"s baby.
“The funnest game ever is the Kylie pregnancy game, just to see what people think,” says Kim to her sister. “Like, there were pictures of her out on TMZ and she looked so skinny.”
“I know, ’cause it’s the angle,” replied Khloe. “They got her from face-on. But if they got a side shot, it would have been over for her.”
Yes, game over.
The implication here is that no one outside of Kylie"s very close circle is aware that she"s expecting…
… even though pretty much EVERYone was aware that Kylie was expecting.
We helped break this news back in September, and we"re pretty sure these Season 15 episodes were filmed in November or December.
(Remember the fight Kim and Khloe got into with Kourtney about her not showing up for the Christmas card shoot?)
Still, the family evidently believes that anyone outside of, like, Calabasas is clueless simply because Kylie herself had not confirmed her pregnancy at the time of filming.
Later in this clip, Kim tells Jenner that her expecting state “has been the best-kept secret of our generation," which is just an amazing quote.
“I’m not trying to keep it secret,” Jenner says. “I’m really doing this for myself.”
(Editor"s Note: You were, by definition, keeping it a secret. The basis for said secret-keeping wasn"t really the question here.)
“Your friends deserve awards. Like, seriously,” Kim responds. “Now you know you have some real ones. That wouldn’t have happened in my day.”
Jenner never actually addresses her situation until AFTER she gave birth, finally saying once Stormi Webster entered the world:
I’m sorry for keeping you in the dark through all the assumptions.
I understand you’re used to me bringing you along on all my journeys. My pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world.
I knew for myself I needed to prepare for this role of a lifetime in the most positive, stress free, and healthy way I knew how.
There was no gotcha moment, no big paid reveal I had planned.
I knew my baby would feel every stress and every emotion so I chose to do it this way for my little life and our happiness.

Game of Thrones Season 8 Footage is Finally Here!
First the bad news: Game of Thrones Season 8 is still a long way off.
The good news, however, is that HBO took pity on us last night and offered up about 15 seconds of footage from the series" long-awaited return.
Prior to Sunday night"s season/series finale (one never really knows in this day of limited series becoming actual series) of Sharp Objects, HBO offered up a montage of what viewers can expect from the pricey premium channel in 2019.
And there was much to get excited about:
The return of True Detective, with Mahershela Ali assuming the starring role; a second season of Bill Hader"s beloved Barry; a new Jennifer Garner comedy from Girls co-creator Jennie Konner; even a revival of the cult classic Flight of the Conchords.
But it"s the promise of a final trip to Westeros that really got Twitter talking last night.
Needless to say, there"s not a whole lot that can be gleaned from such brief clips, but the sight of Dany, her dragons, and everyone"s favorite dwarf was enough to overshadow everything else that HBO is offering up next year.
Which, of course, points to a future concern for the network.
No series in HBO history has been even half as popular as GoT.
Execs are doing what they can to maintain that level of excitement with Game of Thrones spinoff series and new big-budget offerings, such as a series adaptation of Alan Moore"s Watchmen.
But a smash hit like GoT might prove to be a once-in-a-generation sort of thing.
So like a bunch of peasants preparing for a decade of frigid temps, HBO can do it"s best to prepare for the hard times ahead.
But there"s no denying that winter is coming.
Anyway, that"s their problem.
All we have to do is count the days until the GoT Season Eight, which sadly, does not yet have a release date.
Jacksonville Video Game Shooting Kills 3, Injuries at Least 11
Multiple people were killed, and nearly a dozen others were injured on Sunday afternoon, after a male gunman opened fire in Jacksonville, Florida during a video game tournament.
The fatal incident took place at a shopping complex knowm as Jacksonville Landing during a competition between numerous players of the John Madden football game.
According to CNN and other news sources, the suspect has been identified as 24-year old David Katz.
He is a white male from Baltimore, Maryland and his took his own life inside the establishment after using at least one handgun to murder two unnamed individuals.
Police have confirmed that Katz was a participant in the aforementioned tournament, but his motive has not yet been established.
(Previous reports that he lost control after being eliminated from the content have not been verified.)
The Landing is an open-air marketplace with stores, bars and restaurants in downtown Jacksonville, along the St. Johns River.
Because those playing at the time Katz opened fure were part of a qualifying event for a national tournament, there was a livestream of some of the games.
In one piece of footage posted to the website Twitch, several loud gunshots can be heard and the game abruptly stops.
We’re not going to play that awful footage here, but you can hear chaos in the background, as well as a multitude of curse words and one person shouting out:
“Oh f-ck! What’d he shoot me with?”
A series of 12 total gunshots can be heard in this video.
In addition to those killed, 11 people were transported to hospitals with injuries, including nine with gunshot wounds.
Memorial Hospital spokesman Pete Moberg told CNN that at least three patients transported there were in stable condition, while tournament participant Ryan Alemon told the outlet hat he observed “at least six bodies” of shooting victims “on the floor.”
Until the suspect was announced dead and no others believed to have played a role in the shooting, authories kept locals apprised of the situation via social media.
They told everyone to stay far away from the area; and they told those already there to take cover and to remain hidden until they received word it was safe.
“We ask you to stay calm, stay where you are hiding,” the Sheriff’s Office wrote at one point. “SWAT is doing a methodical search inside The Landing. We will get to you. Please don’t come running out.
A search is pending of the gunman’s vehicle, Jacksonville Sheriff Mike Williams said at a press conference.
Officers with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the FBI are assisting in Baltimore, he added.
Wrote one tournament participant, 19-year-old Drini Gjoka, on Twitter:
“The tourney just got shot up. [I’m leaving] and never coming back…
“I am literally so lucky. The bullet hit my thumb. Worst day of my life.”
“The nation once again looks to Florida with grief and heavy hearts,” former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, who was seriously wounded in a mass shooting, said in a statement, adding:
“The massacre in Jacksonville is a tragic reminder of the threats we face from gun violence, no matter who we are or where our day takes us.
“And it’s yet another devastating indictment of this country’s inability to keep our kids safe.”
This shooting comes about one month after a shooting at the Capital Gazette newspaper in Maryland killed five people.
A month prior to that, 10 people were killed at Santa Fe High School in Texas.
Three months before that, 17 people were fatally shot at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida.
Expect many politicians to offer their thoughts and prayers and to do absolutely nothing in the wake of these tragedies.
