Jill Duggar Teaches Kids "God"s Plan For Sex" Education, Makes Derick Proud

Jill Duggar is under fire yet again, this time for teaching her young kids sex education, and for the material she’s chosen to do so.

Despite being fired from Counting On, Jill and husband Derick Dillard have stayed in the spotlight thanks to their social media presence.

Even Jim Bob wishes they wouldn’t.

The latest controversy involving the Family Dillard echoes, albeit less drastically, some of the views that led to TLC firing them.

As you can see below, Jill shared a picture on Instagram of the cover of a book that she’s reading to her two young children.

Her sons are 3 and 1, respectively.

Reading to little kids before they can fully comprehend the material is something we all do, but the book here is “The Story of Me.”

This publication appears to be a sex-education book designed with young children in mind … and a very Duggar one at that.

“Want to teach your kids about the [birds] and the [bees] before someone else does, but you don’t know where to start?” Jill asks.

“Someone [told us] about these books (4 book set) and we love them! Learn more on our *resources page* on our website!”

Naturally, Jill is shilling for the book as some kind of promotional endeavor, but for once, that’s not where some fans have a problem.

The cover, which boasts the fact that it’s a Christian Book Award winner, proclaims that it will teach us “God’s Design for Sex.”

The book’s description: “It’s never too early to begin giving your child a practical understanding of his or her unique, beautiful body.”

Nothing too polarizing there. But …

It also explains “why God designed it (your body) to be exactly the way it is.” A thinly-veiled dig at the transgender community?

Maybe not so veiled at all.

It discusses “the specialness of being made a boy or a girl” and “why God wants each baby to have a mommy and a daddy.”

Naturally, fans used to Derick’s social media rants against gay marriage and various transgender stars weren’t too surprised.

Derick has notably gone off on TLC’s Jazz Jennings, Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent, and the cast of Lost in Transition.

With this context, it’s no surprise that the couple’s surprising sex ed endeavors reopened old wounds with fresh criticism.

Hopefully, impressionable Israel and Sam get a lot out of the “proper names” and “realistic illustrations” of their anatomy.

It’s God’s design, after all.

The wisdom of teaching kids about intimacy at such a young age is debatable in and of itself, but these are the Dillards.

When it comes to indoctrinating the next transphobic and homophobic generation, you might as well start ‘em young?

Audrey Roloff: Quitting Little People, Big World Because It"s God"s Plan?

In a heartbreaking move, Jeremy and Audrey Roloff have announced their departure from Little People, Big World.

Jer was the first to break the soul-crushing news.

Now, Audrey is thanking fans for their support — and shedding a little more insight on why they’re stepping back from the camera.

Audrey took to Instagram to repeat the news. Not everyone who follows her also follows Jer.

“In case you didn’t see our annoucement over on @jeremyroloff’s IGTV,” Audrey’s post begins.

Auj announces: “This past season was our last season of filming for Little People Big World.”

We already knew from Jeremy’s post, but … repetition doesn’t make this news any easier to swallow.

“I know it’s been a shorter run for me,” Audrey acknowledges. “For Jeremy it’s been 14 years!,”

He did, in part, grow up on reality television.

Audrey continues: “but I’ve shared some pretty big life moments on #LPBW”

For example, she lists how Little People, Big World viewers got to see her go through the process of “getting engaged,”

Audrey also recalls how viewers were treated to “our wedding day.”

She mentions that she was on the show for “the launch of @beating50,” which is definitely more exciting for her than for your average viewer.

Auj recounts how fans followed her and Jeremy for “3 moves” and “a remodel.”

And of course, fans got to see her “finding out we were having a baby girl, and becoming a new mom!”

Where would any of us be without precious Ember Jean?

Audrey continues, thanking her fans: “I am so thankful for the encouragement, kindness, and support that each of you have shown to our family.”

“We are forever grateful for the run we’ve had,” she says, almost wistfully.

“But,” she says, she and Jeremy are “Excited to focus on what we feel the Lord is calling us to!”

“You guys are the most loyal fans,” Auj gushes. “Thank you for respecting our decision. And thanks to TLC for putting up with us”

She follows that with a winky-face emoticon.

Audrey wasn’t done, however. She had another major shout-out.

“Mostly, I am so proud of my husband,” she writes.

“Who has grown up in the public eye and yet remained grounded, wise, and steadfast in his faith.”

Growing up in the public eye can be a challenge, but we’re not sure how it would challenge his faith or wisdom.

Unless … was this some sort of jab at the agnostic Jacob Roloff?

“This decision is one that I respect him for immensely,” Audrey says. “‘Here’s hail to the rest of the road!’ I love you Farmer.”

Audrey, an outspoken Christian, then cites:

“Psalm 20:7 #journeyofjerandauj #beating50percent”

Psalm 20:7 refers to how some may trust in mundane things of the world to see them on their journeys, but Christians trust in their God.

Appropriate, given the subject matter.

Though, with Audrey’s phrasing, some fans may be asking themselves — did Audrey and Jeremy quit the show because they believe that God wanted them to?

Justin Bieber: Selena Gomez Will Come Back to Me! It"s God"s Plan!

While some believe that The Weeknd used Selena Gomez to boost his fame, the relationship between Selena and Justin Bieber has a lot more critics — and a lot more fans.

Justin has apparently bared his soul and, it is reported, believes that the two of them are literally destined to be together.

But what does Selena want?

HollywoodLife reports that Justin Bieber is giving Selena space and letting her decide if and when they might get back together.

“Justin is leaving everything up to Selena when it comes to their next move — if there is one.”

That’s usually how breaks work. It takes one to break up, but it takes two to reconcile.

“He’s laid his cards out on the table and made it clear what he wants, and what he thinks.”

Since Justin’s already poured out his heart, the ball’s in her court.

“So now it’s up to Selena to decide.”

The source goes on to extoll the virtues and maturity of Justin in this time of uncertainty.

“Justin is actually being super cool about the situation.”

When a source close to a celebrity says something that optimistic and complimentary, many take it with a grain of salt.

Continuing, the source says that Justin is stepping back to give her the breathing room required to make a decision without pressure.

“And he’s giving Selena all the time and space she needs”

That’s good. Never be pushy over something this delicate, folks.

Even while giving her space, the Biebs has reportedly made his own intentions transparent.

“He’s made it clear that he’s not going anywhere, and that he will always be here for her.”

So apparently Justin’s reported dalliance with Baskin Champion is just, what? A way to pass the time?

We hope that she knows that.

But Justin believes that getting back with Selena (again) is inevitable.

“In his heart of hearts, Justin knows that Selena will come back to him, it’s just a case of when.”

“But, they’re destined to be together, that’s one thing Justin really is certain of in life.”

Ah yes. Famously, life’s only real certainties are death, taxes, and Jelena.

But what does Selena Gomez want?

We’re talking about an accomplished actress, a social media master, and one of the most talented singers on the planet.

Also, she’s a person. You don’t have to be the singer of “Naturally” or “Kill ‘Em With Kindness” to deserve autonomy and self-determination.

Recently, she’s been spending time with friends and with people from her church — Hillsong Church, the same global megachurch to which the Biebs belongs.

Will absense make the heart grow fonder?

Or was this most recent Jelena reunion a reminder of why they’d broken up in the first place?

Justin may believe that God blesses his relationship with Selena, but it’s not clear that she feels that way any longer.

It’s possible to be devoutly religious without believing that your romantic life is divinely ordained.

But we have to wonder how Justin will respond if, in a few months or a few years, Selena still hasn’t come crawling back for his once-hot bod.

Maybe he’ll accept it and move on. He’s shown signs of maturity in recent months.

Or maybe Justin will be the one thing that Selena just can’t quit. We’ll all find out.

Jamie Lynn Spears Shares Sweet Photo of Daughter, Reflects on "God’s Grace"

Jamie Lynn Spears is once again giving thanks to The Big Guy Upstairs.

For a very understandable reason.

The former actress, not to mention the sister of Britney Spears, lived every parents’ worst nightmare a month ago.

On Sunday, February 5, Jamie Lynn’s eight-year old daughter, Maddie, flipped over her children’s off-road vehicle after swerving on her family’s property in order to avoid a drain.

The child ended up face-down in a pond, with neither Jamie Lynn nor husband Jamie Watson able to unfasten the little girl’s seatbelt.

Thankfully, paramedics quickly arrived on the scene… freed Maddie from her restraints… and transported her to a local hospital.

Relatives soon asked the public for prayers, as Maddie was placed in critical condition and fought for her life.

Just a few days after the frightening incident, Maddie went home and Jamie Lynn was finally able to exhale.

“Thanks to the amazing first responders, and medical teams at University and Children’s Hospital in New Orleans, LA, we are headed home with our baby girl as she continues to recover,” wrote Watson at the time, adding:

“Above all else we are so thankful for each and every prayer, because we know that is what truly made the difference. Thank you again to everyone.”

Yesterday, meanwhile, marked one month since Maddie’s scary accident …

… and Jamie Lynn celebrated the occasion by sharing two new photos of her daughter (above and below), along with a very sweet message.

“A month ago, at this time, I was living a mothers/anyones worst nightmare happening right infront of my eyes, helplessly.,” wrote Spears as a caption to the picture above.

It features Maddie holding her little cousin aloft.

“Fastforward- Today, we were able to celebrate the baptism of our sweet Kylie Blair,” continued Spears, adding:

“I’m not one to preach, but we were shown God’s grace, and we still feel undeserving of His mercy. I’ll never stop thanking each of you for your prayers, because we recognize the miracle it created.

“We are beyond blessed, and we will NEVER forget y’all, and God’s unbelievable mercy.”

Jamie Lynn had previously shared a video of her daughter at basketball practice, using the hashtag “Godisgood” in her description of the following footage:

She used that same hashtag for the second picture above, which was snapped on Ash Wednesday and which features herself, Maddie and her mother.

Last week, Spears revealed on social media that her daughter had “fully recovered” and “returned to her normal activities,” writing in full:

So blessed to say that my daughter has fully recovered, and returned to all her normal activities Which means I had to as well, today is my first day back to work. I want to thank everyone again for all their prayers…

God truly blessed us with a miracle.. love y’all.

We’re so very glad to hear it.

We truly can’t imagine what Jamie Lynn and her family went through during this ordeal.

So here’s to Jamie Lynn, Jamie, Maddie, Britney and everyone else!

May you continue to be blessed and may Maddie continue to shine!
