Charlie Sheen and National Enquirer Settle Lawsuit Over Corey Haim

Charlie Sheen will not go to trial in his legal battle with the National Enquirer — it appears both sides have reached a settlement in the defamation case. Charlie sued the Enquirer late last year over a story it published, claiming he raped a then…

Michael Jackson Accused of "Assaulting" Corey Haim

Corey Haim was a beloved child actor who died too soon. For a lot of his life, he was better known for his drug use — and for being a survivor of childhood sexual abuse.

Recently, an accusation came forward that Charlie Sheen had been one of Haim’s abusers.

Now someone else has stepped forward, claiming that Corey Haim had told him of Charlie Sheen … and had also described an alleged assault by Michael Jackson.

As more and more stars come forward with their #MeToo stories, some consider it only a matter of time before every sexual predator in the entertainment business is exposed.

Others aren’t so optimistic.

Some predators are organized and know how to keep their victims silent. Harassment campaigns and threats of lawsuits can keep people from coming forward even when so many are shedding the culture of silence.

Corey Haim’s friend, Corey Feldman, survived Haim’s death and has spoken and written about what they both endured at the hands of sexual predators.

But Corey Feldman has named only one name, citing that the others are too powerful for him to risk trying to expose.

Remember — anyone with enough money can sue someone who lacks the financial means to fight a long, expensive court battle.

But sometimes, accusations slip through the cracks.

It’s now been claimed that Charlie Sheen raped Corey Haim when Haim was just 13 years old.

Charlie Sheen would have been 19 at the time.

It was Haim’s close friend, Dominick Brascia, who made the claim. Charlie Sheen responded with a denial.

But now another famous celebrity has been named as one of Corey Haim’s abusers.

And this one … well, he’s not exactly around to defend himself.

RadarOnline reports that film producer Ed Meyer has come forward with allegations that he says Corey Haim made in 2008, before his tragic death.

“Corey said, ‘I have a problem with Michael Jackson and with Charlie Sheen."”

Well, that could mean a lot.

“‘I was assaulted by these guys, and a few others."”

Note that Meyer says that Haim didn’t call it “sexual assault.” That can be hard to say, especially for survivors and especially for male survivors.

Meyer explains why he didn’t press for details or more names:

“I didn’t feel it was appropriate to say, ‘Who are the other people?"”

That sounds best.

“He didn’t use the word sexual in either case. [It was just], ‘I was assaulted by these guys and a few others.’ It was also clear Sheen turned him on to drugs. That was 100 percent clear …”

We don’t know what Haim said to make that so clear to Meyer.

“He sounded like he was calling Charlie a pimp.”

That’s not what it sounded like to us, but maybe you had to be there?

Critics have been quick to point out that coming forward with a dead man’s alleged accusation against another dead man isn’t exactly a bold move.

And skeptics have found it suspect that Meyer just happens to name a man who’s already been accused … and a controversial man who isn’t alive to respond.

Both of those are fair points. These are secondhand accusations

Michael Jackson is also a complicated person to accuse because, well, he’s dead. Accusing an active predator who’s living the good life is one thing.

Some argue that accusing someone who’s dead … doesn’t really help anyone.

Oh, if somebody wants to take down a statue or rename a street, bringing up someone’s troubled history is totally valid.

But in Michael Jackson’s case, he has living relatives — including his children (despite conspiracy theories about Paris Jackson’s paternity). They stand to be hurt by accusations that can’t help anyone.

Honestly, though — isn’t the truth always worth it?

If this is the truth, that is. Again, we’re talking about secondhand allegations from a decade ago. Corey Haim isn’t around to speak for himself.

Charlie Sheen Breaks Silence on Corey Haim Rape Charge

Charlie Sheen has issued a response to a very troubling allegation.

Earlier this week, The National Enquirer spoke to Dominick Brascia, who was a close friend of Corey Haim’s before Haim passed away in 2010.

Charlie Sheen movie set

And Brascia right came out and accused Sheen of raping Haim when the latter was only 13 years old.

“Haim told me he had sex with Sheen when they filmed Lucas,” Brascia told the tabloid about Haim, who died at the age of 38.

Added Brascia:

“He told me they smoked pot and had sex. He said they had anal sex. Haim said after it happened Sheen became very cold and rejected him.

“When Corey wanted to fool around again, Charlie was not interested.”

Haim and Sheen starred opposite each other in the 1986 film Lucas.

According to Brascia, they had another very personal interaction years after the movie was finished:

“Haim told me he had sex with Sheen again. He claimed he didn’t like it and was finally over Sheen. He said Charlie was a loser.”

Now, in response to this disturbing charge, a spokesperson for Sheen has stated the following:

[Sheen] absolutely denies the claim.

Sheen was diagnosed with HIV in 2015 and has a well-known history of using drugs and sleeping around.

This, of course, does not mean that the allegations related to Haim are automatically true or anything.

This story, however, emerges four years after Corey Feldman made allegations in his 2013 memoir that he and Haim had been sexually abused by some in the entertainment industry.

“There are people that did this to me and Corey that are still working, they’re still out there, and they’re some of the most rich and powerful people in this business,” Feldman said on The View while promoting the book, adding at the time:

“And they do not want what I’m saying right now. They want me dead.”

In this same Enquirer article, a friend of Sheen’s says the actor has admitted to sex with Haim, but told the friend that the intercourse was consensual.

If such an interaction did take place, however, Haim would have been too young in 1986 to give legal consent.

Meanwhile, this is what Feldman wrote in his aforementioned book about Lucas:

“At some point during the filming, [Haim] explained an adult male convinced him it was perfectly normal for older men and younger boys in the business to have sexual relations, that it was ‘what all guys do."”

Feldman does not mention Sheen by name in the memoir.

Two years before its publication, though, he said in an interview that he’s “not a big fan” of Sheen’s due to the way he’s “affected other people that I know.”

Charlie Sheen Accused of Raping 13-Year-Old Corey Haim (Report)

Shocking news out of Hollywood today, as a new report from The National Enquirer claims that Charlie Sheen raped late actor Corey Haim when the latter was just 13 years old.

The alleged abuse took place on the set of the 1986 film Lucas, in which Haim co-starred with Sheen.

“Haim told me he had sex with Sheen when they filmed Lucas,” actor Dominick Brascia tells the Enquirer in an interview published moments ago.

“He told me they smoked pot and had sex. He said they had anal sex. Haim said after it happened Sheen became very cold and rejected him. When Corey wanted to fool around again, Charlie was not interested,” Brascia adds.

Brascia tells the tabloid that shortly before Haim’s untimely death at the age of 38, the actor began speaking openly about the abuse he suffered at Sheen’s hands.

“Haim told me he had sex with Sheen again,” Brascia says.

“He claimed he didn’t like it and was finally over. He said Charlie was a loser.”

Reports of Haim suffering sexual abuse as a minor have been circulating for years, and at one point, Brascia was falsely identified as his rapist.

The Enquirer claims to have conducted an “exhaustive probe” into Sheen’s alleged abuse, gathering testimony from more than 100 individuals who say they have knowledge of the actor’s sexual misconduct.

“Corey was so confused by the sexual encounter he believed, like so many victims, he was ‘in love’ with his abuser,” says one Haim confidant who prefers to remain anonymous.

A former friend of Sheen’s tells The Enquirer that the actor admitted to intercourse with Haim, but claims the sex was consensual.

Of course, if Brascia’s timeline is accurate, then the sexual encounter occurred when Haim was not at an age where he was able to give consent.

The allegations are consistent with a situation that Haim’s lifelong friend, Corey Feldman, described in a 2013 memoir.

“At some point during the filming [of ‘Lucas,’ Haim] explained an adult male convinced him it was perfectly normal for older men and younger boys in the business to have sexual relations, that it was ‘what all guys do,"” Feldman wrote.

Feldman never mentioned Sheen by name, but he did reveal his feelings toward the controversial Two And a Half Men star in a 2011 interview:

“I’m not a huge fan of Charlie Sheen…especially the way he’s affected other people that I know,” Feldman said at the time.

Feldman has long maintained that sexual abuse is “the number one problem” in Hollywood, and the events of recent weeks have sadly proven the actor right.

Currently, Sheen has yet to comment on the allegations against him.

We will have further updates on this developing story as more information becomes available.
