Maci Bookout Gives Update on Ryan Edwards: How"s He Doing After Rehab?!
Ryan Edwards … he’s had an eventful month, huh?
First, the whole world learned about his worsening drug addiction, thanks to a tearful confession from Maci Bookout on Teen Mom OG.
We not only learned that he was doing drugs, but that things had recently taken a turn for the worse.
Things were so bad that Maci was scared she’d wake up one morning to the news that he’d died.
Then, a few days after that episode aired, we learned that Ryan had gone off to rehab to work on his addiction.
But just before he left, he married Mackenzie Standifer.
Oh, and Mackenzie may or may not be losing custody of her three-year-old son thanks to the revelation of Ryan’s drug use.
It’s a lot, right?
Over the weekend, after roughly a month in rehab, Ryan resurfaced in some Instagram photos — he attended a music festival in Chattanooga with Mackenzie and a friend.
So it would seem like he’s completed rehab.
It would also seem like he’s still a jackass, since one of the first social media posts he made after his release was a meme slamming Maci.
You remember, the super classy, not at all offensive Martin Luther King photo, along with text that read “I have a dream that one day my psycho baby’s mama will shut the f-ck up.”
But despite that unnecessary, uncalled for move, Maci says in a new interview that Ryan is doing well these days.
“We’re all just taking it one day at a time, one step at a time,” she tells Life & Style.
“Ryan is doing good. He’s doing what he needs to do and that’s all any of us can ask right now. We’re just trying to make sure he stays focused on himself.”
She adds that he doesn’t have to worry about staying clean on his own, because “he’s got me.”
He’s also got his brand new wife and his parents, but sure, it’s also good that he has his “psycho baby’s mama” on his side, too.
Maci tells the magazine that these past few months have “definitely been a roller coaster,” but she’s determined to help Ryan for Bentley’s sake.
“In times like these,” she explains, “if you feel like you are running out of strength, you just have to keep digging deeper.”
She also had some words for her admittedly amazing husband, Taylor McKinney, who she’s said has been her rock during this tough time.
“He’s my best friend and knows everything about me,” she gushes.
“It’s definitely nice to have him there with me and to listen to me or to give me advice or to just be present. He is a great, great guy.”
It really sounds like it.
It also sounds like Ryan has a good support system, so hopefully rehab will take for him this time.

Cheryl Burke to Abby Lee Miller: How"s My Shade Taste?!?
Cheryl Burke is adding insult to Abby Lee Miller’s legal injury.
One week after Miller was sentenced to one year (and one day!) in prison, the woman who will be serving as her replacement on Dance Moms spoke to reporters and didn’t exactly sound sympathetic to Miller’s plight.
Quite the opposite, one could even say.
Asked about her experience taping new Dance Moms episodes so far, Burke opened up while backstage for her performance on Dancing with the Stars last night.
“The girls are so precious, and I feel like they are traumatized from what has happened with Abby, and it’s important for me to still be strict and do what I do,” said Burke.
The former Dancing with the Stars professional signed on as host of Dance Moms Season 8 a few weeks ago, not long after Miller resigned from the position.
“I expect nothing but the best from the girls, but it’s also important for me to make them feel confident about themselves because they are all beautiful and talented,” she added.
Miller quit as the face of Dance Moms in an anger-filled social media post back in late March.
She didn’t mention her impending sentencing for having defrauded the government in a bankruptcy scheme at the time, choosing instead to put producers on blast.
Wrote the short-tempered reality star, in all capital letters on Instagram at the time:
“I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH BEING MANIPULATED, DISRESPECTED, AND USED – DAY IN AND DAY OUT BY MEN WHO NEVER TOOK A DANCE LESSON IN THEIR LIVES AND TREAT WOMEN LIKE DIRT!”
Burke hasn’t said much since accepting the hosting gig earlier this spring.
But she definitely hurled a bit of shade in Miller’s direction with her comments on Monday.
“We wrapped a couple weeks ago, but I think the girls are trying to focus on them[selves],” she said when asked if Miller’s sentencing had any impact on her former students.
She then added:
“I know the moms are not sad about it!”
We would not think so, no, not based on what we saw when we’d watch Dance Moms online and Miller would get into it with the parents each week.
For her part, Burke said there will still be drama with the moms, but she feuds with them “in a different way” than Miller did.
“My mom was a crazy dance mom herself, and the hardest part is to separate from yourself,” she said, explaining:
“If the moms want to be there on the couch talking and gossiping, then that’s fine, but they can’t just barge into my room. They have to ask for permission.”
After admitting the moms get on her “nerves” at times, Burke replied to Miller’s comments that she’ll be “treated differently” by the Dance Moms production team.
“That’s BS! There is no way,” Burke said.
“This was a quick turnaround for them to have me be a part of Dance Moms, and I think everyone has been treated equally on that show.
“It really is about getting the job done, and it’s bigger than numbers and budget and if they can give you a car service. You want to do it for the girls. It depends where your heart is.”
Miller, meanwhile, has made it clear we haven’t seen the last of her.
In a pre-sentencing interview, the annoying ex-host teased the strong possibility of a new reality series once she’s a free woman.
How is she feeling about all that impending time behind bars?
“I feel relieved. I feel peaceful,” she told reporters a few days ago, concluding:
“There’s a few physical limitations, dietary limitations [in prison], of course, but it’ll be OK.
“It’s a realm of the world I know nothing about. I just know what I know and I do the best I can…
“I know that I didn’t make the right decisions all the time. I think [the punishment’s] just begun.”

Catelynn Lowell Sends First Message From Rehab: How"s She Doing??
It’s been about three weeks since Catelynn Lowell checked into a treatment center to get help for mental health issues, and fans have been concerned ever since.
We’ve not heard a peep from the Teen Mom OG star since she left for the Arizona facility, but Cate finally tweeted an update yesterday.
“Just wanted to know I’m doing great!” she wrote. “Best decision I have ever made for myself.. I’ll b home soon #thankyouforyoursupport”
Catelynn opened up about her battle with postpartum depression earlier this year, revealing that she’s suffered from the condition ever since giving birth to daughter Novalee in January of 2015.
“I didn’t really know and I still don’t know what’s going on with my postpartum,” she told Life & Style. “For a while I felt fine, but I’ve always suffered from depression, anxiety and panic attacks.”
Cate’s husband Tyler Baltierra has shown tremendous support and has stuck by her side throughout her struggle.
“Tyler is my backbone and helps me a lot,” said Catelynn.
It appears Tyler has been visiting his wife in Arizona this week. Yesterday, he shared several photos of himself with a friend on a hike through the state’s majestic Grand Canyon.
He also retweeted Catelynn’s post from the treatment center.
We’re happy to hear Cate is on the mend and hope she gets back to her old self soon.

Saint West at Home: How"s It Going?
Just under a week since Kim Kardashian gave birth to her second child, hilariously naming him Saint, let’s take a look at how the famous family is adjusting, shall we?
In a word, according to E! News?
Quite well, thank you very much!
“The whole family is in great spirits,” an insider says, going on to detail what life is like at home for Kim, husband Kanye West and daughter North.
The newest member of the family allegedly looks a lot like his mother and sister, with the source sticking up for Kanye as a father.
“Kanye has been by her side through this whole pregnancy. He is really the best dad and husband,” E! writes.
It doesn’t sound as if the couple has a nanny at the moment because the source also says Kim and Kanye “take turns waking up and tending to the baby’s needs.
“It’s a lot of work, but they just feel very blessed for having a healthy baby boy.”
Kim was very open throughout her pregnancy regarding the challenges she faced and the fact that she nearly had to have a c-section.
Kardashian and West supposedly named their child Saint specifically because they seem him as a miracle.
As for North?
It’s never easy for a toddler to adjust to a sibling, but Kim and Kanye are well aware of the attention both kids require.
“They know it can take a little bit for a child to adjust,” the insider says.
“[North] is by Kim’s side every day and daddy’s little girl, so she seems to be adjusting great.”
That’s good to hear.
All that’s missing now is a photo of little Saint West.
Come on, Kimye. What are you waiting for?!?

Kylie Jenner Plays a Zombie in Tyga"s "Dope"d Up" Video: How"s Her Acting?
For months, we"ve been hearing rumors about Kylie Jenner pursuing a music career.
Obviously, the 18-year-old selfie queen doesn"t need to pursue any sort of career, as she"s already stacked enough cash to support herself and her D-list rapper boyfriend for a dozen lifetimes.
Still, it"s only natural that a young woman in Kylie"s position would want to prove that she"s worth the money, the fame and the 40 million Instagram followers by sharing her talents with the world.
So we can only hope that Kylie is better at singing than she is at acting, because she just made her dramatic debut in the video for Tyga"s new single "Dope"d Up," and, well…how do we put this nicely?
Sadly, it looks as though Kylie possesses roughly the same acting talent as a first-time porn star who coped with her jitters by popping a quadruple dose of Xanax.
The video is a bizarre "Thriller" knock-off with Michael Jackson"s unforgettable vocals replaced by Tyga"s "rapping" (read: drawling the same slant-rhymed phrases over and over), and the classic dance sequence replaced with half-assed allusions to recent horror films.
The video"s not great, is what we"re saying, and Kylie"s acting might be the worst part.
You"d think a girl who can"t even refrain from making Snapchat videos while she"s driving would be a bit more comfortable in front of the camera.
