Dance Moms Season 7 Episode 25 Recap: Welcome, Cheryl Burke!
Abby Lee Miller was a distant memory on Dance Moms Season 7 Episode 25, and that’s because of Dancing with the Stars pro, Cheryl Burke showed up to take her place.
When the episode got underway, the mothers found out via social media that Abby Lee Miller had announced her intention to quit the show and it did not go down well with everyone.
This was especially concerning because nationals were just two weeks away and nobody knew what was going to become of the teams. Jill noted that she was shocked, but she probably knew.
The coach was facing a stint behind bars because of her tax fraud, so they should have gotten a backup plan in motion before her exit.
Ashlee continued to play bitter and trashed the dance routine from The Irreplaceables’ performance, and Holly was quick to point out that it was a good one.
Cheryl Burke appeared and brought along Ryan Ramirez to help sort things out with the girls. The moms knew a lot was riding on them making it through this next competition.
Cheryl quickly noted that the girls were lacking confidence and chalked it up to what was going on with Abby on social media. Their phones were blowing up because fans were reacting to the news.
Cheryl wanted the mothers to get on board with the team and stop talking about Abby. The mothers got mad when they heard the other girls were going to the same competition.
During rehearsals, the other girls were just not feeling it, and it seemed like they just wanted to roll over and give up. Cheryl decided it may be time to demote Kendall because she was not getting the routine.
The mothers then tried to blame themselves for the way their daughters were acting. Yes, it was terrible and proved just how toxic the environment is on this show.
Things with the other girls were not good, either. Abby had shunned them and told them they could not use the studio. They managed to reel in Miranda to choreograph for the girls. Stacy then said they should pay tribute to Abby with the performance.
That would be a good idea if Abby did not ditch them like a hot potato. They called the group routine “We Surrender.” Yes, they want Abby back.
Ashlee was struggling to come to terms with the fact that Christi and her followers were bashing her on social media. Jamie put it all down to the other moms being scared they win the competition.
At the competition, Chloe and Nia came in third place for their duet, but Camryn and Kendall secured a first-place finish. Abby’s girls managed a second place finish in the group routine, but The Irreplaceables crated in fifth place.
Abby then texted Miranda and fired her, but Ashlee and Brynn decided the show was not for them any longer and they departed. What does this mean for the other girls?
Time will tell.
What did you think of the action?
Sound off below!

Cheryl Burke Keeps Trashing Abby Lee Miller (And We Love It!)
A few weeks ago, Cheryl Burke came right out and asked Abby Lee Miller:
How does my shade taste?
The former Dancing with the Stars professional – who will be hosting Dance Moms Season 8 in the wake Miller"s resignation in March – spoke to reporters after making an appearance on her former ABC show and said her new students were left "traumatized" by their time with Miller.
This was partly due to Miller"s personality, and then subsequently due to her prison sentence for bankruptcy fraud.
Now, with Miller set to spend one year behind bars, Burke has returned to ask once again:
Well, Abby?!? How does it taste?!?
Cheryl was a guest this week on The Steve Harvey Show and she reiterated her belief that Dance Moms kids have been traumatized by their experience with Miller.
What will she do differently than the previous host?
"I don’t scream or yell. I don’t believe in that," Burke tells Harvey in the following clip, earning herself applause from the crowd after drawing a clear distinction between herself and Miller.
"I am still strict and stern. I expect the best out of my students, but I do it in a way that’s loving and caring," Burke added of her teaching philosophy.
Miller responded last month to Burke"s claim of trauma by labeling it "ridiculous."
She didn"t take very kindly to the way Burke called her out, telling Us Weekly:
"I think that"s a really rough statement and I would never say that about Cheryl. I think she needs to watch her mouth."
But Burke clearly isn"t too concerned, possibly because there"s only so much Miller will be able to do to her from jail.
"I want their last memories of Dance Moms to be positive," Burke told Harvey. "I want to change their memories a bit."
In other words: I am about to make this show mine all mine and Abby Miller can totally suck it! These kids won"t even remember her name by the time I"m done with them!
What about all the terrible things Miller said about producers when she quit?
Whatever, Burke basically says, describing these executives as "amazing" and saying they"ve been "nothing but a pleasure to work with."
Watch her talk in depth about Miller and continue to hurl ALL the shade in her direction below:

Abby Lee Miller to Cheryl Burke: Watch. Your. Mouth!!!
Abby Lee Miller has been sentenced to over a year in prison.
But the irritating reality star refuses to slink away quietly.
Shocking, right?
Two weeks after a judge told Miller she would need to spend 366 days behind bars, due to her admitted role in a bankruptcy fraud scheme, the ex-Dance Moms host has come out firing against the new Dance Moms host.
Back in March, Miller laid into producers of this long-running Lifetime hit, slamming them as cheap and chauvinistic and quitting her job as star of the popular show.
Just days later, Cheryl Burke was hired to take over on Season 8, which is filming new episodes as we type.
After initially expressing basic excitement over the gig in her first set of public comments since being hired, Burke turned her attention toward Miller herself several days ago.
Speaking to reporters backstage at Dancing with the Stars, Burke said the following about the effect Miller’s sentencing has had on her former students:
“The girls are so precious, and I feel like they are traumatized from what has happened with Abby, and it’s important for me to still be strict and do what I do.”
Added Burke:
“I expect nothing but the best from the girls, but it’s also important for me to make them feel confident about themselves because they are all beautiful and talented.”
Naturally, these words got back to Miller, who did not miss out on an opportunity to stir up a new feud.
“I think it’s a joke,” the 50-year-old choreographer tells Us Weekly, expounding:
“In my studio, every single day, I had numerous producers, [choreographer] Gianna [Martello] and some type of child advocate service person who’s the tutor/social worker who is there, who watches … everything that’s said, everything that goes on.
“So, how could any traumatizing be going on? That’s ridiculous.”
That’s a weird response, isn’t it?
Burke is simply saying that the girls are having some trouble dealing with the fact that their former instructor is going to prison.
As they should be, right? As Miller likely would even want them to be, no?
But Abby isn’t even focused with her ex-pupils in this case.
She’s focused on the woman who is taking her place on Dance Moms and she’s taking Burke’s remarks very personally.
“I think that’s a really rough statement and I would never say that about Cheryl,” Miller tells the aforementioned tabloid. “I think she needs to watch her mouth.”
Or… what?
Miller is going to an actual prison. She will soon be spending actual time behind bars. She isn’t really one to be making threats at the moment.
In closing, the Pittsburgh native also claims that Burke doesn’t have enough experience for her new job.
“Doing a show for three weeks is nothing like doing a show for seven seasons,” Miller says, perhaps forgettign that Burke has competed on 19 seasons of Dancing with the Stars.
In closing on our end, we’d like to say the following:
Miller sucks. A lot.
With her gone, perhaps we actually will watch Dance Moms online on or TV each week to see what Burke brings to the table.

Cheryl Burke to Abby Lee Miller: How"s My Shade Taste?!?
Cheryl Burke is adding insult to Abby Lee Miller’s legal injury.
One week after Miller was sentenced to one year (and one day!) in prison, the woman who will be serving as her replacement on Dance Moms spoke to reporters and didn’t exactly sound sympathetic to Miller’s plight.
Quite the opposite, one could even say.
Asked about her experience taping new Dance Moms episodes so far, Burke opened up while backstage for her performance on Dancing with the Stars last night.
“The girls are so precious, and I feel like they are traumatized from what has happened with Abby, and it’s important for me to still be strict and do what I do,” said Burke.
The former Dancing with the Stars professional signed on as host of Dance Moms Season 8 a few weeks ago, not long after Miller resigned from the position.
“I expect nothing but the best from the girls, but it’s also important for me to make them feel confident about themselves because they are all beautiful and talented,” she added.
Miller quit as the face of Dance Moms in an anger-filled social media post back in late March.
She didn’t mention her impending sentencing for having defrauded the government in a bankruptcy scheme at the time, choosing instead to put producers on blast.
Wrote the short-tempered reality star, in all capital letters on Instagram at the time:
“I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH BEING MANIPULATED, DISRESPECTED, AND USED – DAY IN AND DAY OUT BY MEN WHO NEVER TOOK A DANCE LESSON IN THEIR LIVES AND TREAT WOMEN LIKE DIRT!”
Burke hasn’t said much since accepting the hosting gig earlier this spring.
But she definitely hurled a bit of shade in Miller’s direction with her comments on Monday.
“We wrapped a couple weeks ago, but I think the girls are trying to focus on them[selves],” she said when asked if Miller’s sentencing had any impact on her former students.
She then added:
“I know the moms are not sad about it!”
We would not think so, no, not based on what we saw when we’d watch Dance Moms online and Miller would get into it with the parents each week.
For her part, Burke said there will still be drama with the moms, but she feuds with them “in a different way” than Miller did.
“My mom was a crazy dance mom herself, and the hardest part is to separate from yourself,” she said, explaining:
“If the moms want to be there on the couch talking and gossiping, then that’s fine, but they can’t just barge into my room. They have to ask for permission.”
After admitting the moms get on her “nerves” at times, Burke replied to Miller’s comments that she’ll be “treated differently” by the Dance Moms production team.
“That’s BS! There is no way,” Burke said.
“This was a quick turnaround for them to have me be a part of Dance Moms, and I think everyone has been treated equally on that show.
“It really is about getting the job done, and it’s bigger than numbers and budget and if they can give you a car service. You want to do it for the girls. It depends where your heart is.”
Miller, meanwhile, has made it clear we haven’t seen the last of her.
In a pre-sentencing interview, the annoying ex-host teased the strong possibility of a new reality series once she’s a free woman.
How is she feeling about all that impending time behind bars?
“I feel relieved. I feel peaceful,” she told reporters a few days ago, concluding:
“There’s a few physical limitations, dietary limitations [in prison], of course, but it’ll be OK.
“It’s a realm of the world I know nothing about. I just know what I know and I do the best I can…
“I know that I didn’t make the right decisions all the time. I think [the punishment’s] just begun.”

Cheryl Burke on Dance Moms: I Broke The Curse!
Now that everyone has had some time to let it sink in that Abby Lee Miller is parting ways with Dance Moms, her replacement, Cheryl Burk took to Instagram in a revealing post.
Her most recent post could have had a dozen meanings, but we kind of think it could be a dig at the outgoing dance teacher.
The above picture has Chloe Lukasiak, Camryn Bridges, Nia Sioux and Reagan Martin looking dressed up for one of the latest competitions on the veteran reality series.
“Broke the Curse #dancemoms,” Cheryl boldly captioned the snap. Without more context, it’s difficult to know exactly what the heck Burke is going on about.
It could all be innocent, but when you consider how strained Abby’s relationship with the girls has been in the past, maybe Burke wants to let the world know she is on much better terms with them.
In another picture, Burke and Lukasiak look cute with dogs snouts. Yes, they should be dancing, but at least they are not bickering.
“Puppy love,” the Dancing with the Stars pro captioned.
It was confirmed last month that Abby Lee Miller was quitting the Lifetime reality series in a scathing rant at the producers of the series.
It reads as follows:
The majority of children that follow me may be fast asleep, however now is the critical time to make the following statement:
I WILL NO LONGER TAKE PART IN DANCE MOMS.
FOR THE PAST SIX YEARS/ SEVEN SEASONS I HAVE ASKED, BEGGED, AND EVEN DEMANDED CREATIVE CREDIT FOR ALL THE IDEAS, AWARD WINNING ROUTINES, THEMES, AND COSTUMING – TO NO AVAIL!
TODAY, I WAS SO PROUD THAT I WENT AGAINST THE PRODUCER’S IDEA (ONCE AGAIN) TO ENTER A COMMAND PERFORMANCE OF ONE OF MY FAVORITE NUMBERS… “WHERE HAVE ALL THE CHILDREN GONE?”
ALONG WITH THREE BEAUTIFUL SOLOS!
I don’t have a problem working with any kid, I love children and have dedicated my life to making other people’s children successful!
I JUST HAVE A PROBLEM WITH BEING MANIPULATED, DISRESPECTED, AND USED – DAY IN AND DAY OUT BY MEN WHO NEVER TOOK A DANCE LESSON IN THEIR LIVES AND TREAT WOMEN LIKE DIRT!
Abby continued to trash the show on social media and interviews, branding the show as fake and claiming the budget was horrible.
If you watch Dance Moms online, you will already know that Abby is not exactly portrayed as the nicest of women. Whether that will be the same edit given to Cheryl is another story.
What do you think about all of this?

Abby Lee Miller Blasts Dance Moms Producers, Says THIS About Cheryl Burke
Abby Lee Miller will not be ignored.
When it comes to the long-time Dance Moms host, there’s one thing on which we can all likely agree:
She sucks so very much.
No, wait, that’s not it.
She’s outspoken. That’s what we meant to write the first time.
In the wake of her abrupt and angry departure from Dance Moms, Miller has accepted invitations from basically every media outlet, clearly anxious to talk more at length about her decision to leave the Lifetime series.
“You just get to a point where you can’t take it anymore and I have been at that point for at least a year,” Miller told Kit Hoover of Access Hollywood on Wednesday night, adding in their interview that she grew “fed up” with how she was treated by producers.
“It’s not about the money,” Miller continued.
“It’s about the respect. It’s about the trust… I don’t want flowers or candy or anything like that, I just want somebody to say, ‘Wow, you’ve done a great job."”
In her epic Instagram rant on Monday, Miller cited fights she would often get into with executives over the show’s budget.
She has since mentioned how difficult it was for her to get simple costume ideas approved.
“Wait until Cheryl Burke deals with [no costume budget],” she told Entertainment Tonight of her confirmed replacement, adding of Burke and her history:
“At Dancing With the Stars, they have two floors — an entire building of seamstresses sewing, rhinestoning, fringe — she’s going to have to run downtown to Santee Alley and buy something off the street in her own car, at 4:30 in rush hour traffic after we wrap, when everything is closing, because that’s what I did for six years.”
We’ll write more about Miller in a moment, after we break out some violins and play a few pitiful notes in her honor…
We understand frustration in any job.
Miller is certainly allowed to complain about various aspects of hosting Dance Moms and, heck, she’s very welcome to walk away.
But she was also made very rich and very famous by the show and now she’s facing possibly jail time as a result of a bankruptcy fraud scheme to which she pleaded guilty last year.
It doesn’t seem like the ideal time for her to be putting producers on blast.
“This was a long time coming for me,” she told People Magazine in yet another interview, however. “Nobody knew. I was just so irate.”
The reality star explained to this publication that the “last straw” came at a competition when one of the program’s producers supposedly staged drama in front of unpaid families who were attending.
This is what she said about that incident, from her point of view:
I had about 50 kids and their families at the competition that are not on a TV show and don’t get paid. They were paying to be there!
They’re all there and the producer … has this psycho crazy woman – who I’ve never seen, never talked to, never met her – stalking me through the audience stating things like, ‘All your team left you. They want nothing to do with you.’ In front of 50 families from my studio.
He can’t understand why that would anger me! It’s absolutely nuts. That was the last straw for me.
In her chat with Entertainment Tonight, Miller was quick to compliment Burke as “great,” saying the show will have a different “vibe” with Burke in charge.
Her beef is clearly with those behind the scenes, not with the woman coming on to Season 8 and taking her place.
“They know how to push my buttons but it’s gone beyond that, to the point where it is so offensive as a woman,” Miller said of the producers.
“I think it’s detrimental to my health, to my mental health, to everything. It’s awful. There’s no privacy, there’s no respect.”
But would she ever return?
Some critics believe this is all a negotiating ploy by Miller.
She’s due to be sentenced for her financial crimes this spring and may be angling for a return if she can avoid prison time.
“Never say never,” Miller told People about the possibility of going back. “It just sickens me when people get creative credit with our ideas.
“A lot of things would have to change. Just the way they pull things out of their butts the last minute and it makes the costuming exhausting. They want me to come to meetings, pre-production, but on my own dime…
“There are certain aspects of the creativity, working in the studio creating and developing a dancer – I’m going to miss that.”
Good riddance to Abby Lee Miller, we say.
But if you want to relive her best and worst moments on Lifetime, you can always click on this link and go watch Dance Moms online. You may enjoy it.

"Dance Moms" Cast Welcomes New Host Cheryl Burke, Throws Major Shade at Abby Lee Miller (VIDEO)
The moms of “Dance Moms” are absolutely thrilled with their new host, Cheryl Burke, and equally excited to throw dirt on Abby Lee Miller’s metaphorical grave. The longtime “Dancing with the Stars” pro showed up at 8 Count Dance Academy in L.A.…
Cheryl Burke: Taking Over for Abby Lee Miller on Dance Moms!
Lifetime has found a pretty big name to replace Abby Lee Miller as host of Dance Moms.
As previously announced, by Miller herself, the long-time reality show will look very different on Season 8.
Following an especially tumultuous run of episodes, along with serious turmoil in her personal life, Miller cursed off producers and resigned as host of the series on Monday morning.
But the series had already been picked up for an eighth season and the network has been adamant that it will simply move on without Miller.
According to a follow-up report by Entertainment Tonight, celebrity choreographer Laurieann Gibson was brought in as an emergency replacement at the outset of Season 8 after Miller abruptly left right before filming began.
Gibson will not be the permanent host, however.
This same news outlet has confirmed that Cheryl Burke will take over to close out the final four Season 8 episodes.
Burke, of course is best known for having been a professional Dancing with the Stars contestant for 19 seasons.
She is not competing on the ABC program this spring, however.
Without delving into specifics on Instagram, Miller WENT OFF on Dance Moms and those behind the camera this week.
It was an epic social media rant, one filled with many capital letters to represent her angry mood at the time.
“The majority of children that follow me may be fast asleep, however now is the critical time to make the following statement: I WILL NO LONGER TAKE PART IN DANCE MOMS,” Miller wrote.
She went on to sort of explain:
FOR THE PAST SIX YEARS/ SEVEN SEASONS I HAVE ASKED, BEGGED, AND EVEN DEMANDED CREATIVE CREDIT FOR ALL THE IDEAS, AWARD WINNING ROUTINES, THEMES, AND COSTUMING – TO NO AVAIL!
Well…alright then!
It had been previously reported that Miller often clashed with producers over such issues as costumes and budget on the show.
She also has been clashing with the U.S. legal system for years, entering a plea of guilty last year to multiple counts of bankruptcy fraud.
After filing for Chapter 11, Miller admits that she hid assets from the government, most notably a six-figure salary she earned as host of two Lifetime show.
She hasn’t exactly expressed much remorse over these illegal actions, though, even joking to ET that she could use a little “vacation” after all she’s suffered through.
The reality star doesn’t seem like a very nice person.
An ET source tells the site that Miller has been “spiraling” of late and “making decisions that most people would think are not smart.”
Quitting a show that paid her a lot of money, just as she’s maybe about to go to jail and lose all her income, is likely a good example.
Miller was originally scheduled to be sentenced for her financial crimes on February 24.
However, that hearing has been pushed back, probably until May, according to multiple insiders.
Are you sad to see Miller leave Dance Moms? Do you think Burke is a quality replacement?
Will you be tuning in to Season 8?
Or, in your mind, is Dance Moms simply an Abby Lee Miller vehicle and there’s no point in watching if she isn’t involved?

Burke Ramsey: Brother of JonBenet Ramsey Sues CBS for $750 Million
There’s been a revival of interest in the shocking death of child beauty pageant contestant JonBenet Ramsey in recent months, thanks in no small to television’s current true crime mania.
JonBenet was murdered in 1996 at the age of 6, and the continued fascination with the still-unsolved case has prompted a slew of new investigative television specials.
The past year has seen 5 network TV specials centered around the Ramsey case, including CBS’ two-part The Case of: JonBenet Ramsey.
The special was one of the most in-depth televised investigations into the bizarre case, and much of it centered around the theory that JonBenet was murdered by her eccentric brother, Burke Ramsey.
Experts theorized that Burke, just 9 years old at the time of the murder, bludgeoned his sister to death because he was upset that she’d stolen a bite of his pineapple.
Not surprisingly, Burke was not pleased with the way he was portrayed in the series, and he’s now filed a $ 750 million lawsuit against CBS.
According to documents obtained by Us Weekly, Burke is suing in order to “redress the permanent damage to his reputation resulting from defendants’ false accusation that he killed his sister, JonBenet Ramsey.”
The suit likely didn’t come as a surprise to the powerhouse network, as Burke already sued Werner Spitz, one of the pathologists who pointed the finger at him during the CBS special.
In documents filed in October, Burke accused Spitz of “having a disturbing history of making false statements related to the brutal murder of young girls.”
Investigators initially believed that Burke committed the crime, and his parents aided him in covering it up.
Burke was exonerated by DNA evidence in 1999, but Spitz and others believe he was saved by human error and the limited technology of the time.
Burke broke his silence on his sister’s murder back in August, opening up to Dr. Phil about the allegations against him in a one-hour special.
At the time, Burke made it clear that he would take legal action against any individuals or media outlets who claimed that he had played any role in his sister’s death.
Now it seems apparent that he has every intention of following through on that promise.

JonBenet Ramsey: Brother Burke Sues Pathologist Who Claims He Killed His Sister
The 1996 murder of JonBenet Ramsey remains unsolved, but Burke Ramsey is certain of one thing.
He did not kill his sister.
Burke is so sure that he’s suing forensic pathologist Werner Spitz Burke for claiming he killed the little girl on the CBS special, The Case of: JonBenét Ramsey.
The $ 150 million defamation suit alleges that Spitz “explicitly and falsely stat[ing] that Burke Ramsey killed his sister, JonBenét Ramsey.”
The lawsuit accuses Spitz of “having a disturbing history of making false statements related to the brutal murder of young girls.”
Burke’s lawyer, John Lesko stated in the October 6th filing that
“Defendant Spitz has once again interjected himself into a high profile case to make unsupported, false and sensational statements and accusations — this time accusing Burke Ramsey of JonBenét’s brutal murder.
“In the Interview, Defendant Spitz claims Burke, age 9 at the time of his sister’s death, bludgeoned her to death.
“Defendant Spitz made this accusation without ever examining JonBenét’s body, without viewing the crime scene, and without consulting with the pathologist who performed the autopsy on JonBenét.”
Burke agreed to do a series of interviews with Dr. Phil to “honor” his sister’s memory.
The 29-year-old Purdue University graduate is aware that people think he killed his sister, but he insists that he did not do it.
Therefore, his filing requests that Spitz “remove and retract all defamatory statements.”
Burke spoke to Dr. Phil about his sister’s death, and the chaos that ensued inside the family’s Colorado home.
“Iremember my mom searching my room that night saying, ‘Where’s my baby? Where’s my baby?’” Burke said.
The funeral, Burke added, is not yet a distant memory.
“I remember the viewing. The casket was small. Her eyes were closed.”
The lawsuit is a particularly sensitive issue for Burke, as he’s aware that the public still blames him and his parents – Patsy, who died of ovarian cancer in 2006, and John – for the death.
“I know people think I did it, that my parents did it,” he said. “I know that we were suspects.”

Burke Ramsey Speaks on JonBenet Ramsey Murder
The JonBenet Ramsey murder case may be 20 years old.
But it refuses to go away.
In fact, it will be front and center in a couple of different ways over the next few months.
As previously announced, CBS will air a miniseries that explores the mysterious disappearance of this child beauty queen.
You can watch a trailer for it here:
But truly significant buzz surrounding the JonBenet Ramsey case centers on the victim"s brother, Burke Ramsey.
He"s the only member of his immediate family who has never spoken to the press, but he will touch on the sad topic of his sister"s death in an interview with Dr. Phil on September 12.
For those unaware of these details, Ramsey was killed in December of 1996.
But the killer was never found and Ramsey"s parents were long believed to have been the culprits.
Many people out there still suspects JonBenet"s parents of committing this heinous crime, while also pointing a finger at Burke.
He"s now 29 years old and he tells Dr. Phil that he"s aware those allegations persist.
"I remember my mom searching my room that night saying, "Where"s my baby? Where"s my baby?"" Burke tells the talk show host in the three-part season premiere.
We"ve posted the first trailer for it below.
"Has it ever occurred to you that your parents actually thought you did this and didn"t ask you because they didn"t want to know?" Dr. Phil asks Burke in the sit-down.
"I know people think I did it; that my parents did it. I know that we were suspects," he responds, adding:
"I want to honor her memory by doing this interview. I don"t want anyone to forget."
Since the young beauty queen’s death, JonBenet"s mother passed away from ovarian cancer and her father has remarried.
Despite moving forward with their lives as best they can, the family members haven"t forgotten the past.
"I remember the viewing," Burke says. "The casket was small. Her eyes were closed."
JonBenet was discovered beaten and strangled in her Colorado home"s basement on December 26, 1996.
There have been more than 140 suspects and more than 1,400 pieces of evidence reviewed. No one was ever arrested for the crime.
Back in 1996, John and Patsy Ramsey made the initial call to police, saying they found a note demanding ransom for their daughter of $ 118,000.
John later came across his daughter"s body hours after police completed a search of the residence.
In 2008, they were officially cleared of any wrongdoing.
The three-part Dr. Phil season premiere begins Monday, September 12 and continues Tuesday, September 13 and Monday, September 19 on CBS.

Christine Burke: Dry-Humped by Scott Disick in Cannes!
Remember back when Scott Disick was caught in bed with Kendall Jenner?
Only it was a staged photo? An April Fool’s Day prank?
Not everyone is laughing now.
That’s because Disick appears to be in a semi-serious relationship with Christine Burke, a young model who bears an eerie resemblance to Kendall.
Rumors of the two hooking up first circulated in March, with talk of Disick and Burke actually living together grew strong just a few days later.
We can’t confirm or deny that Disick is now residing with Burke.
But we can definitely confirm that his tongue was residing inside Burke’s mouth during an outing this week in Cannes!
Disick is in the South of France to attend parties in honor of the Cannes Film Festival.
On May 15, paparazzi members snapped pictures of the 32-year old and his 20-year old companion seemingly very hot and heavy aboard a fancy boat.
You can visit Us Weekly to see Disick lying on top of Burke, thrusting away while clothed; and also to see Burke grabbing Disick’s hand a another point in the evening.
Disick, of course, split from Kourtney Kardashian last July amidst chatter that he cheated on her.
He tried very hard for a number of months afterward to win Kourtney back, but we’ve heard very little about any sort of romantic reconciliation possibilities in 2016.
And Disick hasn’t been just sitting around, waiting for Kardashian to make up her mind, either.
He’s got something going on with Burke and he’s also been spotted getting to first base with someone named Megan Blake Irwin.
What is the appeal of Scott Disick to these women? We may never know.
Send in your theories and try not to lose your lunch over Disick below.

Cheryl Burke: Ian Ziering Was the WORST PARTNER EVER on DWTS!
Yowza. Cheryl Burke just called Ian Ziering a gigantic D*CK!
Alright, that"s not an exact quote, but it"s the basic takeaway.
The Dancing With the Stars pro didn"t bother mincing words about the hatred she harbors for her former dance partner while speaking with Matt Weiss and Theo Von on the "Allegedly" podcast.
When asked who her worst DWTS partner was, she didn"t skip a beat before saying, "My least favorite would be Ian Ziering."
Burke was partnered with Ziering during season four of the show, and despite their differences, the pair made it to the semi-finals.
So why did she loathe Mr. Beverly Hills 90210 so much? Well, first of all, there"s that pukey name.
"The fact that his name"s not EE-an and it"s AYE-an makes me want to throw up," she started. But she was far from done skewering the man.
When the host chimed in that Ziering had pissed him off on The Apprentice, Burke told him that was simply his everyday persona.
"That"s the true colors that they didn"t show on Dancing With the Stars," she said.
"Think of spending time with that for like eight to 10 hours a day, seven days a week for three months," Burke added.
The dancer confessed that week after week, she hoped to get voted out of the competition, and even aired her grievances to the show"s producers.
"It made me want to slit my wrists," she said.
"I was, like, crying to executives. I was, like, is there any way to please to just eliminate us? They"re like, we can"t. We can"t do that and I swear, every time I asked, we just kept going. We would last till the end."
Hot motherloving damn. Why can"t all interviews be like this??
As for this year, rumor has it Mischa Barton is the worst star to work with. Guess there"s one every season.

Scott Disick & Christine Burke: Already Living Together?!
It’s been two months since we first learned that Scott Disick is dating Christine Burke, and it seems the couple is moving much, much faster than anyone expected.
In fact, OK! magazine is reporting today that Scott and Christine are already living together.
Sources say the 20-year-old hasn’t officially moved in with Scott, but she’s more or less taken up residence in what we assume is a liquor bottle-festooned bro palace.
“Christine has basically moved into Scott’s house,” says one insider.
“She only ever goes to her home to pick up clothes. She spends a lot of time sleeping in and wearing Scott’s pajamas and sweatpants…She hasn’t slept at home once.”
Naturally, there’s been some serious partying going on, as despite six stints in rehab, Scott is still boozing.
Unfortunately, his new lady and her friends are not of legal drinking age. In fact, some of them can’t even vote yet:
“She has her friends over to party and hang out in the Jacuzzi and some of them are only 17,” the source says. “Having Christine at his house has in no way slowed Scott’s partying.”
Yes, just when you thought Scott Disick couldn’t sink any lower, he started drinking with high school kids.
There’s no rock bottom the Lord can’t hit!

Scott Disick: Dating Kendall Jenner Lookalike Christine Burke!
Scott Disick has done a lot of sleazy things over the years (You don’t earn the nickname “Douche Lord” by being a standup guy), but nothing tops Scott’s years of mistreatment of Kourtney Kardashian.
Now that they’re officially broken up (Scott’s attempts to win Kourtney back have been derailed by booze and the fact that he’s awful.), you might think that Disick would tone down the sleaze a bit, if only for the sake of his kids. You would be wrong.
The gallery above features photos of a 20-year-old model named Christine Burke, who’s currently dating Scott, presumably because she’s 20, and her brain hasn’t fully developed yet.
Anyway, Christine isn’t even old enough to drink and she’s dating a weathered, alcoholic dad, but the relationship is drawing a lot of attention for a different creepy reason.
As you may have noticed, Christine looks an awful lot like another 20-year-old up-and-coming model – Kendall Jenner.
Considering Scott dated Kendall’s half-sister Kourtney for nine years and has stated on several occasions that Kendall is like a little sister to him, there’s a serious ick factor to the fact his new girl is basically Kendall’s dead ringer.
Hey, on the bright side, we guess this means those rumors about Disick dating the actual Kendall aren’t true.
