Nick Viall and January Jones: Dating!

We guess that Nick Viall won’t be giving Corinne Olympios that second chance after all.

As bizarre of a match as this is, Nick Viall is dating … January Jones. It’s Bachelor villain meets X-Men villain.

And it looks like things got started not too long after Nick and Vanessa Grimaldi parted ways. Whoops.

Getting a date with your celebrity crush isn’t easy. Usually, anyway.

It helps if you’re also a celebrity. Specifically, if you’re a famously gorgeous celebrity actress who happens to gush about her own celeb crush while on television.

Speaking to James Corden, January Jones revealed that she is a Bachelor superfan, saying:

“You don’t know if you like him or if he’s a scumbag, but that’s why I’m attracted to him, maybe”

Most people might not be turned on by being called a scumbag, even if they’re called attractive in the same breath.

Nick Viall is clearly not most people.

(It probably doesn’t hurt that January Jones is almost absurdly gorgeous on top of being a talented actress with roles on Mad Men and in X-Men First Class)

According to Page Six, that’s how Nick Viall and January Jones met. Well, it’s how they ended up going out for drinks.

Their source claims:

“They’ve been dating for about two months.”

And it started with her confession to James Corden.

“She went on ‘The Late Show’ in ­mid-November and said Nick had reached out to her and tried to get her to lip-sync battle with him.”

That would have been interesting to see. Emphasis on would have.

“She declined, but then he asked her out to a drink and she accepted. They’ve been seeing each other since.”

Of course, if Nick Viall was already trying to do a lipsync battle with her, perhaps there was already some mutual attraction.

But let’s take a look at this timeline.

Back in August, Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi broke up.

If you’re still shocked when Bachelor couples break up … we don’t know what to tell you. Most of them do.

It’s almost like reality television’s cameras don’t prompt people to be their most authentic, honest selves! (Who knew?!)

Also, their split after 5 months was, by our count, Nick Viall’s fourth failure to find love through the Bachelor franchise. Yikes.

We can, at least, guess with reasonable confidence that pining after January Jones isn’t what ended things for Nick and Vanessa Grimaldi. It sounds like this new relationship started a couple of months later.

Maybe this romance with January Jones is exactly what he needs to actually have a successful romance?

Or maybe the Bachelor cameras weren’t the only problem, and Nick Viall was the common factor that ended things again and again.

We hope not.

Not for the notorious Bachelor villain’s sake, but for the sake of January Jones.

She maybe wasn’t my first choice to play Emma Frost, but she’s great and she doesn’t deserve heartbreak.

And let’s not forget that January Jones has a young son, folks. Dating gets more complicated when someone involved has kids.

January Jones Bathes With & Moisturizes 4-Year-Old Son: Weird or Whatever?

It’s been a while since January Jones’ name has been mentioned in celebrity gossip circles.

She’s carved out a decent career for herself post-Mad Men with a steady role on the criminally underrated Fox sitcom The Last Man on Earth, and based on her social media presence she enjoys a pretty quiet personal life.

January briefly dated Will Forte, her LMOE co-star (and boss), but they remained friends (and she kept her job) after the relationship fizzled.

Shortly thereafter, there were rumors of Jones dating Jon Hamm, and she got caught up in all that Bobby Flay cheating drama (You might say she was a side dish. #ChefBurn!), but as far as we can tell, she’s still single and focusing on being a mom these days.

But don’t think she’s not bringing plenty of WASP-y Betty Draper weirdness into 4-year-old Xander’s life.

Check out some of JanJo’s comments from a recent interview and ask yourself if the toddler in your life is moisturized enough:

“I like having my baths, and he takes them with me,” Jones recently told People magazine. 

“I’m really strict about getting him moisturized…I may be over-grooming him. I don’t know!”

Is it kind of a weird thing to say? Absolutely.

Are we surprised? Not in the slightest.

We’ve always suspected there are some serious eccentricities aching to break free from that pretty blonde facade.

Strict About Moisturizing should be the title of Jones’ memoirs, which should be scrawled entirely in lipstick on tear-stained pages.

Is it weird that she treats her 4-year-old like he should be out grabbing orange mocha Frappuccinos with Derek Zoolander? Yeah, kinda.

But something tells us that doesn’t even crack the top ten list of strange things January does on a daily basis.

Jon Hamm & January Jones: Officially Dating?!

At the 2016 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, Jon Hamm took home one of the night’s top prizes for his work in the final season of Mad Men.

Now it seems the 44-year-old star may have celebrated by reminiscing about his time as Don Draper with the help of a former castmate.

Yes, Hamm and January Jones on-screen marriage may have been swallowed by a tidal wave of booze and infidelity, but in real life, Hamm is newly sober – and newly single – and several insiders say the co-workers are making a go at a real-life relationship.

Hamm broke up with Jennifer Westfeldt – his girlfriend of 18 years – last summer, and he reportedly reached out to his longtime friend January – who was also fresh from a long-term relationship – for support.

Sources say the platonic dinners eventually led to Hamm and Jones hooking up, and now they’re officially dating – and doing their best to keep it low-key.

“They’ve always had an extremely close relationship and crazy chemistry,” says one insider. “They always flirted with each other on set, but never went there because Jon was with Jennifer.”

The source adds that after the Globes, Jon and January headed back to her house – which has become a home-away-from-home for Hamm in recent weeks.

“They’ve been spending time together at January’s home in LA,” the insider continued. “It’s a gated community so they don’t have to worry about paparazzi getting shots of them together.”

Over the weekend, Jon Hamm won his first Emmy after being nominated an astonishing 16 times.

Of course, throughout his seven seasons of portraying Don Draper on the critically adored AMC series Mad Men, the narrative about Hamm was that he was nothing like his boozy, philandering onscreen alter ego.

Whereas Draper was a drunk, a primadonna, and a serial adulterer, Hamm was said to be a schlubby, self-deprecating everyman, hopelessly devoted to his longtime girlfriend, Jennifer Westfedlt.

Part of that might still be true, but it looks like years of stepping into Dick Whitman’s skin left a mark on the once-humble Hamm.

When Hamm entered rehab for alcohol addiction, many speculated about the emotional impact of playing a depressed, self-destructive drunk for the better part of a decade. (Hamm dismissed their concerns.)

When he broke up with Jennifer Westfeldt after years together, jokes about Don-esque infidelity were everywhere on social media.

Now, it looks like Hamm may have completed the Draper trifecta by banging all of his co-workers.

First, there were rumors about Hamm and Elisabeth Moss (who played Peggy Olson on Mad Men) and now, sources are claiming that Hamm and former onscreen wife January Jones were spotted getting awfully close at an Emmys after-party.

The timing is significant as it was first reported that Jones and Will Forte broke up just days before the ceremony.

Yes, Don and Betty Draper found themselves both newly single and celebrating both his Emmy success and the final season of Mad Men at a series of lavish Hollywood parties.

The beloved on-screen duo Jon Hamm and January Jones celebrated Hamm’s Emmys win for Best Actor in a Drama Series at the AMC After-party at BOA Steakhouse in El Lay.

What better way to end the series!!

The recently single 44-year-old hung close to fellow cast members Jones, John Slattery, and several show runners at the party, taking it all in!

The now Emmy-winning actor told reporters after his long-awaited win:

“It’s been so nice, honestly, all of it. It’s been many, many years and this is the culmination of it.”

All Mad Men fans can rest easy knowing Don and Betty live on!
