Marc Anthony & Shannon De Lima Are Really Over
If you thought celebrity couples were finished breaking up for the year, you were sadly mistaken.
The latest casualty on the celebrity couple front is Marc Anthony and Shannon De Lima.
There were rumblings earlier in the year that the couple were calling it quits, but they have now released a joint statement confirming their decision to separate.
“After much consideration, we have mutually and amicably decided to end our two year marriage,” the two said in a statement to E! News.
“We ask for privacy during this difficult process, and no further comments will be made from either one of us about this personal matter.”
The pair probably decided it was best to address the rumors rather than let them pile up.
It is a classy move to say they won’t be making further comments on the matter, but we’ll see how long that actually lasts.
Amicable splits in the celebrity world are pretty much non existent, but time will tell.
As for the reason for the split, we have no idea, but Anthony’s father, Felipe Muñiz referenced it recently when he spoke to Telemundo Puerto Rico’s Dando Candela earlier this month.
“He’s going through tough times right now, but he knows how to accept what comes out of this,” Anthony’s father said. “He has a lot of experience (in separations).”
The part about the experience was a pretty random comment to make, but he kind of has a point.
Anthony was first married in 2000 to Miss Universe Dayanara Torres. Their relationship was pretty rocky with them splitting up in 2002, before reconciling. However Dayanara filed for divorce in 2004.
That same year, Anthony married Jennifer Lopez, with the pair splitting up in 2011.
They finalized their divorce in 2014, paving the way for Marc to move on with De Lima.

Julian Edelman and Adriana Lima: Dating!
We now know that Tom Brady will definitely miss the first four weeks of the 2016 NFL season due to his Deflategate suspension.
And while most folks in the New England Patriots organization are still grieving over the fact that they’ll be missing one of their team’s two key ingredients (Bill Belichick’s sleeveless hoodies have not been banned by the league … yet.), wide receiver Julian Edelman seems to be loving life these days.
Of course, that could have little to do with his hopes for the Patriots’ season and everything to do with the fact that he’s banging a Victoria’s Secret model.
Yes, according to TMZ Edelman and Adriana Lima are dating.
It’s great news for him, because, well … Adriana Lima looks like this:
But it’s not great news for Pats fans, as no one can be bothered to worry about catching footballs when they’re regularly having sex with Adriana Lima. It’s not possible.
Sure, Brady’s been married to a supermodel for years, but he was grown in a lab using shards of Joe Theismann’s fibula.
The guy’s thought about nothing but football his entire life.
With Edelman, we’re dealing with an actual human being.
If he can get over the fact Lima may have banged Justin Bieber, this could turn into a serious relationship, while may mean the end of his career.
Of course, on the bright side, this could also mean an end to Edelman’s random Tinder hookups and embarrassing post-coital selfies posted by over-zealous fangirls.
We feel like Rob Gronkowski already has the task of sexing the entire population of Massachusetts well in hand, ya know?

Adriana Lima on Justin Bieber Sex Rumor: EWWW! NO!
Andy Cohen got right down to business during a chat with Adriana Lima on Bravo"s Watch What Happens Live this week.
Seated alongside the gorgeous model, Cohen asked point blank whether Lima ever got down to NAKED business with Justin Bieber… if you know what we mean!
We mean this: did Lima ever hook up with Bieber, as rumors on the World Wide Web claimed in the spring of 2014?
“Where did you read that?!” Lima responded, before saying NO several times.
Sorry, Justin. But she doesn"t just deny the chatter in this video. She seems rather turned off by it.
Fellow guest Padma Lakshmi at first supported Lima, saying Bieber has to be too short for her to even consider, but then she added:
"Although he would be right at your boobs. It would be perfect for him.”
Lima, however, went on to reveal something personal about her taste in men, telling Cohen, Lakshmi and all viewers:
“Let me tell you this… Anybody below 6-foot-7, you know how I call them? Friends.”
Wow. That sure narrows Lima"s dating pool by a large margin, huh?
Bieber, meanwhile, was also romantically linked to another supermodel last year. And we"re yet to hear Miranda Kerr deny the talk that she got it on with the short singer.
