You may have heard about the theory of the Kardashian Kurse.
Those who believe in it maintain that athletes who date members of the Kardashian-Jenner clan experience swift downturns in their careers and even in their personal lives.
The most obvious example is Lamar Odom’s post-career breakdown, but it’s worth noting that by the time of Odom overdosed and lapsed into a coma, he and Khloe had already broken up.
But the fact remains that the Khloe and her sister Kim have dated many athletes, and several of them either hit major slumps or ended their relationships with the sisters citing distractions or other negative effects on their performance.
But one legend who knows a thing or two about coming through in the clutch believes that the Kardashians might actually be an asset to his team as the post-season approaches.
These days, Khloe is dating Tristan Thompson of the Cleveland Cavaliers, and it seems his teammate LeBron James is encouraging Khloe and her sisters to attend as many of the team’s playoff games as possible:
“LeBron’s having second thoughts about Khloe and the bad or not so bad mojo she brings to Cleveland,” a source close to the situation tells Hollywood Life.
Yes, King James was initially opposed to a Kard clan presence at Quicken Loans Arena, but it seems he’s had a change of heart:
“If it wasn’t for [Khloe], no one would even be talking about the Cavs,” the insider says.
“Russell Westbrook is making history. Steph Curry is doing his thing in Oakland and his Warriors jersey is still the best-selling jersey in the NBA for the sixth straight year.”
Um … is this source Kris Jenner?
Regardless of what’s happening elsewhere in the league, LeBron and the team that he’s on are a topic of conversation every season.
Kris the source goes on to say that the famously humble LeBron feels that he’s just not getting enough love this season, and … he thinks Khloe is the answer?!

“LeBron’s been kind of an afterthought in the league and all of the talk on the sports shows is how bad Cleveland’s been playing, if they’re talking about the team at all,” says the totes sports-savvy tipster.
“Bron’s not trying to make enemies and if Khloe’s going to be coming around to the games, she needs to bring all her sexy sisters and friends and their friends to sit courtside and distract the opposing team. Bron needs all the help to win.”

LeBron came back from a 3-1 deficit in last year’s Finals, and the only celebrity distraction in the stands was Kevin Love’s uncle.
