Matt Roloff is Here to Clap Back Against Talk of Family Tension

Matt Roloff is a man on a mission.

Yes, the Little People, Big World patriarch wants you to tune in to his family’s long-running reality show.

But he doesn’t want you to do so because you are anxious to see a great deal of in-fighting among Roloffs, young and old.

Indeed, while most reality show try to sell drama in order to lure in viewers, Matt does not want to be like most reality stars.

In anticipation of new episodes returning this week to TLC, Roloff actually hurled some shade in the direction of Little People, Big World crew members, accusing them of editing footage to make it seem like his relatives don’t get along.

“We’ve been pushing the new producers to stop making our show negative and keep the family love and togetherness in the forefront,” Roloff wrote on Facebook, adding:

“For some reason, these new producers/editors that come in to work…don’t know the show and want to amplify the negative…

“I’m not sure we can take that kinda of editing much longer. Errrrr.”

Wow, did Matt really threaten to quit his own series?

We can’t imagine this really comes to that, but Roloff took to Facebook again on Wednesday in order to drive his whole family harmony point home.

“I love this little hang out time with Ember Jean,” Roloff wrote as a caption to the video from which we took the two screen captures above.

Fair (and obvious) enough, right?

But it’s what he wrote next that we took as a message he very much wanted to pass on to all friends and followers:

“The back story is … Jeremy Roloff and Audrey Roloff were in the other part of the barn doing their interviews for lpbw and they asked me and caryn if we would watch Ember for an hour while there we in the next room.”

This may seem like a small point, but it was said with a purpose.

Among the reasons some Little People, Big World fans think there’s tension among various family members is because Matt is involved with Caryn Chandler.

Heck, he may even be engaged to Caryn Chandler!

Chandler formerly worked as a manager at the Roloff Farm, meaning she knew Amy Roloff pretty well back when she and Matt started dating.

You can imagine how that would be a little awkward, can’t you?

Nevertheless, Amy has handled everything with maturity and class, showing no signs of anger or jealousy.

(It helps, of course, that she’s seriously involved herself with Chris Marek.)

As you can see above, Amy and Matt really do get along just fine these days.

But so many critics out there refuse to believe it; they think Chandler is the source of major discord among the Roloffs.

This is why Matt added the note in his caption that Jeremy and Audrey gladly handed their daughter off to both Matt AND Caryn to babysit.

The couple must think pretty highly of Chandler is they’re willing to let her watch their only child, right?

We’re buying in. We’re on board.

The Roloffs may have the occasional disagreement, but they are clearly a tight clan that has overcome quite a few obstacles over the years.

And that’s why we tune in!

There’s plenty of melodrama out there.

Give us legitimate, heartfelt connections between loved ones any day over all the other scripted nonsense on reality television/

Don’t you feel the same way?

Caryn Chandler Snubs Amy Roloff, Stirs Tension at Family Birthday Party

Little People, Big World…

… major tension?

On the surface, Matt and Amy Roloff get along just about as well as any formerly married couple possibly can.

They split in 2015, yet still star on a reality TV show together and still pose for photos such as this together:

However, a couple recent reports have hinted strongly that there’s some trouble in this TLC-based paradise.

First, as previously detailed, nearly every member of this famous family was on hand last weekend because it’s pumpkin picking season at the Roloff farm in Oregon.

This included Caryn Chandler, Matt’s girlfriend since March and the farm manager, an awkward arrangement considering how well she knew Amy before she started to date her ex-husband.

Sources have said Chandler basically acted like the matriarch of the clan, as she “ran the show” with Matt while Amy was shoved to the background.

You can read all about this controversy below:

The Daily Mail, meanwhile, has a follow-up account from the weekend, focusing on how Caryn organized a birthday party for Matt.

It was meant to be a surprise and loved ones such as Jeremy, Matt, Tori and Jackson all attended… but Amy wasn’t even invited!

Even though the gathering took place on her co-owned property!

“Caryn made sure some of the farm hands were there as well, and gave out party hats to some of the crowd who had gathered behind the main gift shop,” an insider tells the British publication, adding:

“The odd thing was that Amy Roloff was on the other side of the barn doing meet and greets with the general public and wasn’t asked by Caryn to participate.

“It definitely felt like she was being usurped at her own farm by Matt’s new girlfriend.”

This appears to be an ongoing problem.

Those who watch Little People, Big World online and/or have followed these stars closely are aware that Amy has been dating Chris Malek for over 10 months now.

It’s not as though she’s alone and jealous.

But it is as though Caryn may be trying to replace her role within the family in some ways.

“I never once saw Amy speak to Caryn, there’s a real tension there,” The Daily Mail insider adds, expounding as follows:

“The kids seem caught in the middle. This was baby Jackson’s first day at the farm during pumpkin season, it was kind of a big deal and Amy was shut out.”

Amy and Matt finalized their divorce last year.

But they remain business partners, parents to four kids and now grandparents to a pair of babies.

Jackson was born to Zach and Tori in May, while Ember Jean was born to Audrey and Jeremy last month.

“It was obvious that Matt and Caryn run the show during pumpkin season, while Amy has been relegated to “greeter” on the farm she spent decades helping to create,” this report concludes.

That sounds awkward.

Let’s hope this alleged tension doesn’t impact Matt and Amy’s relationship too much.

We’d hate to see such a close-knit family torn apart.

Celebrity Apprentice Recap: Tension in the Boardroom

Arnold Schwarzenegger is not about to let the project managers off the hook for their underperforming team members.

We kicked the latest episode of Celebrity Apprentice off with the news that the teams would be developing ad campaigns for Welch’s.

Team Prima continued to show that they don’t work well with each other. Project manager, Laila Ali was straight to the point with the women about what she wanted.

This did not sit well with the others, who were looking to have some fun along the way.

Laila did not seem interested in taking any feedback on board from the other team members.

This caused a lot of frustration among the ladies when Rocco DiSpirito told the ladies that their overall presentation was lacking fun. In other words: It was boring as hell.

Team Arete were more professional about things and continued to work to the tight demands set out for them.

Just as they thought they had another competition in the bag, the Welch’s team made it known that they were not impressed with the campaign.

They felt it was all over the place and was not worth investing in. This gave Team Prima their first win of the season.

Chael Sonnen did not want to take the blame for what went wrong and was quick to point the finger at his other team members.

After much deliberation, Eric Dickerson and Ricky Williams were took back into the boardroom with Sonnen, with Eric becoming the third person to lose their place in the competition.

Team Prima were ecstatic at the fact they finally won a competition and seemed to think things were finally looking up for them.

For the next task, everyone was making videos that were meant to go viral for King’s Hawaiian.

Team Arete scrambled to try and win this competition because they did not want to lose any more people from their side.

However, tensions got the best of them. Jon Lovitz and Vince Neil came to blows about which line they should cut from the script, prompting Boy George to complain that everyone was wasting his time.

On Team Prima, Lisa Leslie seemed to think her teammates were out to get her and made her feelings known on the matter.

Turns out, they were out to get her and were perfectly willing to throw her under the bus if they were the losing team.

Snooki was the project manager, so you can probably understand why it did not go to plan. In fact, whoever thought it would be a good idea to leave Snooki in charge should probably leave the competition.

Snooki mentioned that all of the footage they created was terrible and not worth their time.

Team Arete secured the win and Snooki was forced to take two people back into the boardroom with her.

Snooki called Porsha Williams and Lisa Leslie back in, but the tables were quickly turned on Snooki, who accepted that she was wrong and exited the game.

Losing Snooki was always going to be a big blow to the series, but she’s not quite as fun as she was back in her Jersey Shore days.

The Walking Dead Season 7 Episode 5 Recap: Tension at Hilltop

Have you been missing Maggie?

If so, then you were in for a treat on The Walking Dead Season 7 Episode 5 as we got to see just how fractured leadership was at the Hilltop Colony.

If you watch The Walking Dead online, you’ll know that Maggie and Sasha made a break for the colony after Negan murdered both Abraham and Glen on The Walking Dead Season 7 Episode 1

It’s definitely not scenes you could easily forget, but catching up with the characters was pretty intriguing.

Maggie got some much-needed confirmation that her pregnancy was going as planned.

However, she was told to rest up for a few days to get over the emotional trauma she was put threw watching her baby daddy being brutally murdered.

When she and Sasha went to pay their respects to their fallen friends, Gregory showed up and made it clear he wanted Maggie out of the colony because he didn’t want to have any more dealings with the Alexandria crowd.

This was a bit rich when you consider the fact that the Alexandria group only went to war with the saviors to save Gregory’s people.

Sasha and Maggie were quick to point this out, but he didn’t give a damn.

He revealed that Maggie could stay the night, but she would be leaving first thing in the morning.

So much for the hospitality he gave her when she was wheeling and dealing with him last year.

Gregory was no doubt terrified at the prospect of the Saviors showing up and attacking his people.

There’s no telling what Negan would do if he got wind of Gregory’s involvement.

That night, Maggie and Sasha were shocked to the core when the gates to the colony were knocked down and a car was in the courtyard with loud music.

This was drawing all of the walkers into the colony and making things very difficult.

Sasha pleaded with Maggie to stay in the trailer while she went off on her own to save them.

Pretty much as soon as Sasha made her escape from the trailer, Maggie was out in the open and barking orders at people.

Even though she was ill, she knew what she had to do in order to save everyone. She got in a tractor and ran over the car until the music stopped playing. It really was the best course of action and it proved she’s a natural leader.

The next morning, Jesus, Maggie and Sasha pled their case to Gregory to allow them to stay, but they were stopped in their tracks by the arrival of the Saviors.

Maggie and Sasha were put in hiding to avoid being murdered.

Simon and the group of the saviors went into the house and immediately started laying down the law.

Gregory was trying every trick in the book in order to get them away.

He offered them everything he could, but he lost all of his alcohol and art.

It was a thrilling turn of events, but it was needed to show that absolutely no group is safe from the wrath of the Saviors.

After the meeting, Maggie went to Gregory to tell him she would not be leaving and that he was to quit calling her names.

He obviously felt defeated after losing most of his inventory and looking pretty stupid.

Maggie was then shocked to the core when Enid showed up. Enid hitched a ride with Carl and the two of them seemed to get a lot closer.

It would be such a shame if they never got the chance to meet up again.

Couples just don’t seem to have a long shelf life on this show.

Right now, Carl is on his way to Negan’s base with Jesus, but what is their master plan?

The episode was pretty solid overall, but there were some minor issues.

Simon was a little too nice to Gregory compared to the way Negan would have acted.

The show seems to be taking some of the characters in interesting directions, but who will die next?

There’s always death on this show and we have went a few weeks without it.

Could we be in for another massacre?

What did you think of the episode?

Tamar Braxton: Was She Fired Because of Tension With Co-Hosts on The Real??

While the specifics on why Tamar Braxton was fired from The Real may never be known, recent comments she made regarding her co-hosts are raising some eyebrows.

During an interview on The Steve Harvey Show, Braxton admits she was blindsided by the news of her firing.

“You know when you love your job, it’s no issues,” she told the host.

“You’re not complaining about much, you’re not fighting with anybody, me and the girls got along, so I thought.”

Many fans took that last comment as a hint that there may have been tension between Braxton and her co-hosts, Tamera Mowry-Housley, Jeannie Mai, Adrienne Bailon and Loni Love.

Did one or more of them complain about Braxton?

Representatives for The Real deny any conflict between the Dancing With the Stars alum and her co-stars in the following statement:

“Tamar Braxton’s contract was not renewed for reasons that will remain privileged and private, and that are between her and the Studio.”

“However, we would like to make it crystal clear that Ms. Braxton’s departure from the show had nothing to do with her former co-hosts; any suggestion to the contrary unfairly tarnishes them.

“As always, we wish Tamar and Vince [Herbert] all the best.”

Shortly after her dismissal from the show, Braxton took to Instagram to announce that she had been “stabbed in the back” by someone she “stupidly trusted.”

In addition, she unfollowed former co-hosts Bailon, Mai and Love on Twitter, leaving many to suspect something had gone down between the stars.

But despite any hard feelings surrounding her departure, a silver lining emerged when Braxton signed on to star in a new talk show produced by Steve Harvey.

“It’s such a beginning,” Harvey said of Braxton. “She has such a bright future. She is such a star. She has so much to offer.”

Ben Higgins & Lauren Bushnell: "Extreme Tension" Plaguing Relationship??

Oh noes! Is it trouble in Bachelor paradise for Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell already?

It’s been a mere two weeks since the much-anticipated finale of The Bachelor aired, revealing that L. Bush had prevailed as the winner of Ben’s final rose – oh, but just barely.

You see, poor Ben had also fallen in love with another lady, JoJo Fletcher, and we all watched him agonize over saying goodbye to her simply because Bachelor rules decreed that he was only allowed to pick one person to spend the rest of his life with.

Unshockingly, watching her fiance cry over JoJo isn’t sitting well with Lauren, and it’s causing “extreme tension” in her relationship with Ben, according to Life & Style.

“Lauren tries not to think about it,” a source told the magazine. “But she’s traumatized that Ben told another girl he loved her.”

“Everyone around them can feel the awkwardness,” the source added. “It’s unclear if they will last. Things between them are getting worse.”

Looks like Ben didn’t really think that whole telling-two-women-he-loves-them-on-national-TV thing through.

OR, the producers at ABC totally thought it through, and boy-oh-boy, what a whopper of a storyline it made!

A gander at Ben and Lauren’s Instagram accounts suggests that the two are still totes in love. They recently spent Easter with Ben’s family in Denver and have plenty of kissy photos to prove it.

Of course, it could all just be for show.

The entire Bachelor Nation knows that the couples must stay together for at least two years in order to keep the big-ticket Neil Lane engagement ring.

Perhaps it’s worth feigning a little happiness for a while just to cash in on that prize a couple years down the road.

Lord knows people have faked relationships for a whole lot less.
