Ronnie Ortiz-Magro: Urged to Stay the Eff Away from Jen Harley, Fight for Full Custody of Daughter

Congratulations are in order for Jen Harley.

The occasionally violent and sporadic girlfriend of Ronnie Ortiz-Magro has managed to accomplish the near-impossible:

She has turned this Jersey Shore cast member into a sympathetic figure.

For years, Ronnie had been known for his quick temper and his wandering penis, as he shamelessly flirted with women while in serious relationships and admittedly cheated on both Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola and Harley.

Now, however, most Jersey Shore viewers are on Team Ronnie, following a couple of frightening and over-the-top actions perpetrated by Harley against the reality star.

She and Ronnie started dating last summer and welcomed a daughter named Ariana into the world in early April.

But it was only a few weeks after this blessed event that Ronnie and Jen engaged in a vicious social media fight, lobbing one insult after another at each other, as summarized below.

Pretty crazy, right?

Since then, both sides have sort of apologized and the D-Listers have even tried to make their relationship work.

Only it is clearly doomed.

First, in the second week of June, Harley went off on Ronnie while the MTV personality was filming in Las Vegas, instigating a brawl that had to be broken up by the authorities.

Then, just a few days ago, Harley got arrested for hitting Ronnie in the face while driving and then speeding away while he tried to get out of the car, dragging him across the road in the process.

Pretty nuts, right?

This is her mug shot:

Following this latest incident, Ronnie is apparently receiving lots of advice from those close to him.

TMZ reports that Ortiz-Magro attended a barbecue with Harley prior to her alleged assault of him because he’s afraid she will take little Ariana away from him.

He has been trying to maintain a healthy relationship out of fear of losing his three-month old.

But friends are now pushing Ortiz-Magro to forget this line of thinking and simply rely on the court system — because they are worried Harley may do something even more dangerous than dragging him by a car.

There’s simply no way to reconcile at this point and Ronnie ought to let lawyers hash out a custody arrangement, this friends say.

Along similar lines, Hollywood Life spoke to an insider who says Ronnie is now facing pressure to take Ariana way from Jen.

It’s simply a matter of what is best for the infant.

“Ronnie’s family fears for the baby’s safety after Jen’s recent spat of violence and arrest,” this source explains, adding:

“Ronnie is hearing it from those closest to the situation that Jen is out of control. Ronnie’s family is encouraging him to do the right thing:

“Take care of his new baby and go to court for full custody before something tragic happens to his new baby.”

Whoever would have thought that it would be reasonable to believe Ronnie Ortiz-Magro is the safest parental option for a child?

But that point is difficult to argue after what we’ve heard and read about these past few weeks.

And Ronnie does seem pretty into his kid, referring to her as “My Life” on Instagram while sharing numerous photos of the adorable nugget.

Overall, we can’t say exactly what is best for Ariana.

We just know that her parents need to grow up, keep their distance from each other and work on an amicable relationship of some kind if they want her to grow up in a healthy environment.

And that’s really all that matters, don’t you agree?

Royals Urged to "Prepare" For Death of Queen Elizabeth II, Sources Claim

In April, Queen Elizabeth II turned 91 years old.

With 65 years on the throne, she’s one of the longest-reigning monarchs in recorded history, and she remains beloved across the globe thanks to her tireless humanitarian efforts and refreshingly no-nonsense attitude.

Sadly, if a new report is to be believed, the Queen’s health is failing, and her loved ones have been cautioned that she may be nearing the end.

Several media outlets are reporting today that the Queen’s private secretary, Sir Christopher Geidt, has advised her family to pack black clothing for any upcoming travel, as they may need to dress in appropriate mourning attire in the weeks to come.

There’s been no official word from Buckingham Palace, but it’s believed that the Queen is in failing health and being treated at home.

Thus far, there’s been no change in the Queen’s appearance schedule, but she’s been booking far fewer official engagements in recent years due to her advanced age.

Earlier this year, the Queen’s husband, Prince Philip, retired from public life at the age of 96.

Obviously, the Queen will be mourned throughout the world when she passes, but in some circles, talk has already turned to the matter of succession.

As Elizabeth’s eldest son, Prince Charles is next in line for the throne.

At the age of 68, he’s the oldest heir apparent for the British crown in over 200 years.

Since no royal engagements have been canceled, it seems the Queen isn’t yet on her deathbed, but the news that her her children and grandchildren have been warned to prepare for the worst is certainly discouraging.

Of course, until that report is confirmed by palace officials, it will remain mere speculation.

Reports of the Queen’s failing health have surfaced on several occasions in the past, and while there may have been genuine cause for concern, she’s persevered each time.

Thus far, representatives for the Royals have declined to comment.

Our thoughts go out to the Queen and her loved ones during what appears to be a tremendously difficult time.

We’ll have further updates on this developing story as more information becomes available.

Tim Allen: Shamed for Nazi Comments, Urged to Apologize

Tim Allen was already an unfunny comedian prior to sitting down for an interview with Jimmy Kimmel last week.

But then the actor went ahead and compared modern society to the Holocaust, actually claiming that Republicans in Hollywood these days have something in common with Jews in Nazi-occupied Germany…

… and now he’s gone from merely being unfunny to becoming a national embarrassment.

Appearing Thursday on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Allen discussed attending Donald Trump’s inauguration and offered his thoughts on the polarizing political climate.

As one of the few Conservatives in show business, he told the host and his audience:

“You gotta be real careful around here. You get beat up if you don’t believe what everybody believes. This is like ’30s Germany.”

Yes, like ’30s Germany. When it was run by Adolf Hitler. And when millions of Jewish people were rounded up, thrown into concentration camps and killed by the Nazi regime.

You can see Allen make these actual, real-life comments in the video below:

In response to these remarks, hopefully any level-headed human being was aghast and appalled.

But the Anne Frank Center for Mutual Respect has specifically called out Allen for what it has deemed to be his “deeply offensive characterization” of the situation, adding in further detail, via a statement from the organization’s executive director:

“Tim, have you lost your mind?

“No one in Hollywood today is subjecting you or anyone else to what the Nazis imposed on Jews in the 1930s – the world’s most evil program of dehumanization, imprisonment and mass brutality, implemented by an entire national government, as the prelude for the genocide of nearly an entire people.”

The statement concluded:

“Sorry, Tim, that’s just not the same as getting turned down for a movie role.

“It’s time for you to leave your bubble to apologize to the Jewish people and, to be sure, the other peoples also targeted by the Nazis.”

That pretty much says it all, but it’s still worth emphasizing:

1. Over six millions people were killed in the Holocaust. As far we we know, not a single Republican has been killed in Hollywood for expressing his or her viewpoint.

2. Allen is (somehow) STILL working on the ABC sitcom Last Man Standing. It’s filmed over 100 episodes!

3. He’s been the voice of Buzz Lightyear in all three Toy Story films. He starred in one of the most beloved shows of its era, Home Improvement, during the mid-1990s.

In other words: The guy is not hurting for work.

This would be a ridiculous, inappropriate, hurtful statement to make by anyone.

But it’s especially off-base and tone deaf when coming from an actor who has been regular employed (and VERY well compensated) for well over 20 years.

The Anne Frank Center is named after the young Jewish girl who kept a now-published diary while hiding from the Nazis and says its mission is to call out “prejudice” in the world.

The group also “counters discrimination and advocates for the kinder and fairer world of which Anne Frank dreamed.”

Allen is yet to speak out on his controversial quip.

But he’d be well-served to issue a mea culpa and move on.

What a stupid thing to say.

Can the world just agree to cease all comparisons to the Holocaust on a grand scale?

Until a dictator comes into power and starts rounding up individuals from a certain ethnicity for mass imprisonment and slaughter, NOTHING is like 1930s Germany, okay?
