21 Celebrities Who Died from an Overdose

It"s both tragic and true:

Far too many celebrities have lost their lives to a drug overdose.

1. Whitney Houston

Whitney Houston passed away from a cocaine overdose and drowning on February 11, 2012. The legendary singer was 49 years old.

2. Philip Seymour Hoffman

Philip Seymour Hoffman was found dead by a friend on Super Bowl Sunday in 2014. The Oscar-winning star was 46 at the time and a medical examiner declared that Hoffman died from a mixture of heroin, cocaine and amphetamines.

3. Peaches Geldof

Peaches Geldof, 25, died in April 7 at her home in Wrotham, England. A few months later, a British coroner officially ruled that Geldof had died of a heroin overdose.

4. Lisa Robin Kelly

Lisa Robin Kelly died in her sleep from multiple drug intoxification on August 14, 2013. She was 43 years old at the time.

5. Cory Monteith

Rest in peace, Cory Monteith. The Glee star died from a mixture of heroin and champagne on July 13, 2013. The incident followed a night out with friends in Vancouver. He was 31.

6. Amy Winehouse

We still remember where we were when Amy Winehouse died from alcohol intoxication on July 23, 2011, at her home in England. She was just 27 at the time.

9 Men Whose Lives Were Ruined By the Kardashians

Man. The Kardashians sure do a number on dudes.

Just ask this group, whose lives – for one reason or another – were never the same after the Kardashian and Jenner women finished with them.

Kanye can probably handle it. The rest of them?

1. Lamar Odom

Was Lamar Odom’s downward spiral triggered in part by his uneasiness with fame? And how his life continued to play out in the tabloids and on the E! show Keeping Up with the Kardashians, even after he and Khloe split up? We may never know for sure, but as he battles for his life and his prognosis looks ever more grim, the Kardashians’ role in this sad saga is sure to be hotly debated and heavily scrutinized.

2. Scott Disick

Now in rehab for at least the sixth time, Scott Disick has been a party animal for years and can’t avoid his share of the blame for his own choices in life. Who cheats on the mother of their children and chooses alcohol over one’s kids? Still, his issues with the spotlight undoubtedly led to many of the demons he’s struggled with, and eventually caused him to snap.

3. Kris Humphries

Remember Kim Kardashian’s second husband Kris Humphries? The one she was married to for 72 whole days? Yeah, his NBA career flamed out almost as quickly as their marriage. Having been involved in the conversation for most improved player in pro basketball, he soon became involved in one of the most ridiculous celebrity breakups of all time … then faded into obscurity where he belongs.

4. Brody Jenner

Brody Jenner’s life is pretty damn amazing, and he’ll tell you as much, but at the same time, he’s been anti-Kardashian long before it was cool. Brody maintains a close relationship with father Caitlyn, as well as his biological half sisters Kendall and Kylie. But he’s publicly feuded with Kim, openly dislikes former stepmom Kris, and for the love of Pete, he’s had to LIVE with all of these people!

5. Ray J

The man, the myth, the amateur porn who Hit It First has made a lot of money off of his X-rated rail-a-thon, and yet it probably hampered whatever chance he had of becoming a legitimate star in his own right. Ah, the duality of riding Kim Kardashian from behind while filming it. A paradox, if you will.

6. Rob Kardashian

As the only son in a house with five sisters, the deck was stacked against Rob Kardashian from the start. He tried and failed at making socks. He was funny on Keeping Up. He went on Dancing with the Stars. Things were going okay for awhile, as he became inseparable from Khloe and her husband, Lamar Odom. But after those two split up, he went off the rails, bailed on Kim’s wedding, put on a TON of weight, started shading his family on social media, and generally turning into a recluse. Sad.

Miranda Lambert: Sleeping With Married Dierks Bentley?

It’s been three months since Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton got divorced, and both halves of the former couple have been the subjects of rebound rumors.

Sources say Blake is hooking up with Gwen Stefani, while Miranda has set her sights on another country heartthrob.

According to Star magazine, Miranda and Dierks Bentlety have been spending an awful lot of time together.

In fact, they’re reportedly so smitten that they refuse to let a little problem like the fact that Dierks is already married get in their way.

The two were first spotted together at the Music City Walk of Fame ceremony in Nashville on October 6. Fans were reportedly shocked to see them arriving in the same car, and even more shocked to see them behaving like a couple.

“They talk nonstop these days,” an insider tells the tabloid.

“Since Miranda doesn’t have Blake anymore, she’s relying on Dierks for emotional support. She forgets he’s a married man and thinks it’s perfectly OK to call or text anytime she wants.”

Obviously, Cassidy Bentley, Dierks’ wife since 2005 is not so pleased about this recent development:

“This buzz that Dierks and Miranda are hooking up is very upsetting for his wife,” says the source. “Cassidy has been with him long enough to know what he’s like, but watching his behavior with Miranda lately has really caused tension in their relationship.”

This report should be taken with a grain of salt, as it comes from the BS-laden pages of Star magazine, but it’s worth noting that Shelton was married when he met Lambert and there have been dozens of rumors about Miranda cheating with married men over the years. Just sayin’.

Lamar Odom: Video of NBA Star Popping Pills Leaks Online

As you’ve probably heard by now, Lamar Odom was found unconscious in his VIP suite at the Love Ranch brothel in Nevada.

The 35-year-old former NBA star remains in a coma in a Las Vegas hospital, and sadly, it looks as though he’ll never regain consciousness.

Doctors believe Odom suffered a drug overdose brought about by binging on alcohol, cocaine, opiates and Reload – an “herbal Viagra supplement” that had recently been recalled by the FDA.

Now, Radar Online has obtained security footage from the Love Ranch that purportedly shows Odom partying with hookers and popping pills that are most likely Reload. 

Insiders say the slumped figure in the background is Odom. The footage was reportedly taken at about 5:30 pm the day before he lapsed into a coma.

In the video, a woman in the foreground prepares shots and chasers and brings them to Odom, leading many to believe that he used liquor to swallow his pills.

Radar Online and other outlets who have analyzed the footage claim that Odom can be seen reaching into a small plastic bag full of pills and removing several capsules, though due to the quality of the video, it’s difficult to tell exactly what he’s doing.

Yesterday, Odom was declared brain dead, and medical experts believe it is only a matter of time before he passes away.
