Christina Aguilera on Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani: I Approve!

Grammy award-winning singer Christina Aguilera recently opened up about her feelings on Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton’s new romance.

The singer, who is slated to return to The Voice next season, told Us Weekly that she approves of the reality competition show’s “first love connection.”

“I’ve known Gwen for a really long time,” she told the magazine while at Verizon’s HopeLine campaign in Los Angeles. “We went to each others’ kids birthday parties, we share the same management, and Blake I know now from the show.”

Gwen confirmed the relationship earlier this month after both she and Blake finalized their respective divorces.

In August, Gwen and Gavin Rossdale split after 13 years of marriage.  And Blake Shelton and Miranda Lamber split in July after just a short four year marriage.

“The two of them are both great people,” 34-year-old Aguilera said. 

“Gwen’s such a great mother and a hard-working mother too! It’s not easy to juggle The Voice and music and children — it takes a strong woman,” she admired. 

“And obviously I’m always in support of that. And I do know what it’s like to go through a divorce myself, and it’s tough!”

Christina doesn’t have respect for them.  She is in total support of their rebound relationship: “I keep telling them both to stay strong and have fun!” 

The mom of two knows what it is like to go through a divorce.  In 2010 Aguilera and husband Jordan Bratman split.

“Divorce and life is hard enough! If you find someone who makes you happy, you gotta go for it. So they deserve it and they deserve to be happy!”

Before Christina supports them too much, she should remember that Gwen and Blake’s relationship will be featured on The Voice.  

This could change the tone of the reality competition show, making her return less about coaching on The Voice and more about the personal lives of the coaches.

While commenting on Blake and Gwen, Aguilera made a point to support the HopeLine campaign, an organization dedicated to supporting domestic violence prevention and awareness:

“It’s a subject that really hits home with me because I’ve always been pretty vocal and open about my own experiences in witnessing domestic violence in the home and neighboring homes around me.”

She added, “So it was something that was pretty constant in my younger upbringing.”

“That’s why for me, it’s so important for me to speak my truth and helping others to find theirs and to find their own hope in a hopeless situation.”

One Direction Covers "Torn," Internet Goes Insane

Look out, Justin Bieber!

One Direction means business.

Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Niall Horan are releasing their new album today… the same day on which Bieber is also coming out with a new album.

And these four British hunks have found a quiet and emotional way to promote the record, performing a number of hits on BBC Radio 1’s "Live Lounge."

But the one that has the Internet truly abuzz is Natalie Imbruglia’s "Torn," for multiple reasons:

1. It"s a great track.


2. It"s a song One Direction performed together way back on The X Factor, when they were initially discovered.

This has extra meaning to fans because One Direction will be taking a hiatus in 2016, following this release of "Made in the A.M."

So fans around the World Wide Web are having all the feels when it comes to this acoustic, stripped down version of Imbruglia’s"s smash hit.

But "Torn" is all any longtime follower is talking about at the moment, for reasons true One Direction fans understand.

Keeping Up With the Kardashians: How Did They Film Lamar Odom in the Hospital?

After Lamar Odom’s nearly fatal overdose in a Nevada brothel, the Kardashians considered featuring Odom on their reality show Keeping Up With the Kardashians.  

Most of us thought it wasn’t true.  What type of a**hole family would exploit someone like that?  It seemed so off the wall that we didn’t even believe they did it.

But it turns out (as we should have known) that the Kardashians really are the a**hole family that is willing to exploit Odom for their own benefit.

According to Radar Online, the Kardashians violated hospital policy and snuck cameras into Lamar’s hospital room.

Never mind that the 36-year-old basketball star is still undergoing treatment. They want the ratings for their show!

An insider stated, “The family filmed with their crew this morning in Cedars Sinai,” an insider told Radar.

“They used hand held cameras and wires and just went for it,” the source added.

A second source reported that although Odom agreed to be filmed with his estranged wife Khloe Kardashian, his family was disappointed in his decision.

“It’s so sad he is doing this,” the insider commented.

Filming also took place on on October 13 in the Las Vegas hospital where Odom was initially treated for a drug overdose.

“It’s [a] s**t show,” a source said, referring to the filming taking place at Sunrise Hospital. “The Kardashians are trying to run everything. They walked into the hospital with cameras rolling. It was shocking, but hardly a surprise.”

As KUWTK continues to expose Odom’s private life and treatment, others say that the Kardashians don’t have Odom’s consent. “He isn’t signed up for the show or anything, but that doesn’t matter to them,” stated a second source.

As long as Odom is enmeshed with the Kardashians, they will use him for every rating they can get.  In fact, Kris Jenner attempted to cash in on Odom’s overdose by trying to arrange a KUWTK special featuring Odom.

Lindsay Lohan Dresses Like Famous Charles Manson Murder Victim

As she recently proved, Lindsay Lohan actually looks half-decent without makeup caked all over her face.

As also recently proved, for reasons that remain baffling and rather offensive, Lindsay Lohan looks really weird when dressed up as Sharon Tate.

Tate is the actress made famous through her death: she was killed in 1969 by serial killer Charles Manson and members of his family/cult.

In her photo, which Lohan posted to Instagram on Manson’s birthday this week, Lindsay is wearing high boots, short shorts and a flowery top that displays her bare belly.

Among the captions written along with the controversial image, Lohan typed the following:

“#cancer meets #AQUARIUS,” “I LOVE SHARON TATE, “#themeLOOK” and “#hippieWINTERCHIC.”

Yes, WINTER CHIC.

Lindsay Lohan is joking about a new fashion trend by dressing up like a murder victim. 

That’s one way for a former A-Lister to put herself back in the news, we suppose. One really creepy way.

Assuming Lohan really did purposely share this picture on Manson’s 81st birthday (and it would be quite the coincidence otherwise), she’s basically paying homage to a serial killer by dressing as his most famous victim.

We can’t really sum up our reaction to that decision any better than this Instagram follower, who posted in response to the strange photo:

“Sharon Tate died a tragic death. Is there ANYTHING you won’t do for attention?”

Considering Lohan has also threatened a Presidential run in 2020, we sadly think we know the answer to that question.
