The Voice Recap: Nine Will Enter, Only Four Will Survive

After three consecutive weeks of The Voice results that saw this fall’s Top 12 whittled down to nine, things are about to get real on NBC.

Of the nine singers who gave it their all Monday night, only FOUR will move on Tuesday when the results are announced. High stakes.

Barrett Baber (Team Blake) sang “Ghost” by Ella Henderson, giving it a country-soul flavor and possibly punching his ticket to the next round.

Shelby Brown (Team Adam) sang “Even God Must Get the Blues” by Jo Dee Messina. She sounded awesome, but will it stand out with voters?

Jeffery Austin (Team Gwen) chose “Believe” by Cher. Talk about going for broke with one of more more iconic artists out there. Will it pay off?

Braiden Sunshine (Team Gwen) picked “Amazing Grace.” He was terrific, though it remains to be seen if this will help him leapfrog five others.

Zach Seabaugh (Team Blake) pulled out “The Climb” by Miley Cyrus, again bringing energy and stage presence along with surprising versatility.

Madi Davis (Team Pharrell) took on “Big Girls Don’t Cry” by The Four Seasons. An understated but strong performance, it should keep her in this thing.

Emily Ann Roberts (Team Blake) was next with “9 to 5” by Dolly Parton. She was out of her comfort zone but she had fun, and it was a good thing.

Amy Vachal (Team Adam) belted out “Make You Feel My Love” by Adele. And she made it her own, even in a similarly stripped-down arrangement.

Jordan Smith (Team Adam) went with “Somebody to Love” by Queen, and his big, bold effort combined with his range brought the house down.

What did you think of the semifinal round? Who is destined to make it to the final four, and which five singers will be out of here? Discuss.

Jana Duggar: Fans Encourage "Cinderella" to Go to College, Start Career

If you’re familiar with the lesser-known members of the 19 Kids and Counting clan, then you probably know that Jana Duggar is a fan favorite who always seems to get a raw deal from her own family.

At 25, Jana lives at home with her parents at the so-called “Duggar compound” in Arkansas, where she helps to care for her younger siblings, as well as her nieces and nephews.

As her younger sisters Jill and Jessa got married, moved out, and started families of their own, rumors began to circulate that Jana is the family “Cinderella,” forced to spend the rest of her life catering to the needs of her many, many brothers and sisters.

It may be that Jana has chosen to stay at home and live a chaste life of servitude, but ever since the cancelation of 19 Kids and Counting, many fans have been more vocally concerned about bright, quiet young woman.

The show served as a connection to the outside world and a sort of de facto career for Jana, who is now rarely seen by the public, and presumably spends the bulk of her days completing household chores.

As she’s not involved in a courtship with a Duggar-approved young man, Jana is not even allowed to create a social media page of her own.

Perhaps that’s why when the Duggars posted the above photo of Jana on their Facebook page last week, their social media followers leapt at the chance to encourage the girl to break out on her own.

“College would look great on her,” wrote one commenter.

“Jana is so beautiful and so ready to move out on her own and get married,” wrote another.

There are several such comments on the thread, many of which have now received hundreds of likes.

Yes, it seems the Duggar faithful are certainly eager to see Jana move out and start a life of her own.

And we’re sure TLC wouldn’t mind, as based on the level of fan interest, we’re sure a Jana: Counting on Herself spinoff would be a ratings bonanza.

Of course, rumors of Jana breaking away from her famous family seem to circulate every few weeks.

Tabloids have had Jana courting Tim Tebow and moving to New York City to start a business.

Obviously, all of the reports of Jana setting out on her own have proven false, and it’s important to bear in mind that Jana has never actually expressed a desire to distance herself from her family.

But especially in the wake of everything we found out about her upbringing over the past year, it sure would be satisfying to see Jana buck the tradition and live life on her terms.

Teen Mom Season 5 Trailer: The OGs Are BACK!

Teen Mom returns January 4, with Farrah Abraham, Catelynn Lowell, Maci Bookout, and Amber Portwood all back for more shenanigans.

Like the previous season, the camera crews will also be returning.

Teen Mom: OG, as the show was randomly rebranded (for Original Girls, not Gangstas), broke down the fourth wall like never before on MTV.

Basically, the gals are filmed being filmed and being pissed about it.

Case in point: Farrah Abraham screams, “I don’t need to be a part of a trashy-ass show anymore. ‘Cause I make millions of dollars doing other s–t.”

Ohhhh snap, she went there. But it"s true, this woman is banking mad coin flaunting her new boobs in fur-kinis, among other business ventures.

Such as sex toys and porn. Lots and lots of pornography.

Anyway, some of her castmates are shown battling actual problems, like pre-wedding nerves in the case of Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra.

“I’m nervous,” Cate admits to Tyler. “You know, some people get married and everything changes.” Babies will do a number on you, too.

The trailer shows Catelynn lying in bed with the covers over her head, as Tyler’s mom asks if Lowell is struggling with postpartum depression.

Serious stuff. Good thing they"re still the cutest family ever.

Meanwhile, Maci Bookout is growing sick and tired of waiting for her live-in boyfriend, Taylor McKinney, to pop the question. Like, really tired.

We"re talking "hurry up and make me your wife" sick of waiting.

Amber Portwood? Her life is a bit of a mystery these days, but she hasn"t been back to jail in a few years, so we can chalk that up as a success.

What else can fans expect come 2016 from the fab four?

Teen mom season 5 trailer the ogs are back

Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra: Cutest Family EVER

These two are the only good things to come out of Teen Mom.

Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra have been together for a long time (ten years, to be exact), and made it official this August in a ceremony attended by family, friends and Teen Mom co-stars.

Over the weekend, the Michigan-based couple took their daughter, Novalee to meet Santa Claus

“Went and saw Santa tonight it was so much fun!” Lowell wrote on Instagram.

“Novalees 1st Christmas this year and I’m so blessed to have special moments like this with my little family..”

In the photo, a slightly skeptical Novalee looked up at the big guy, but held it together for a photo opportunity.

The trailer for the new season of Teen Mom OG has just premiered, and Lowell and Baltierra’s nuptials look like the only bright spot in the coming season.

Maci Bookout might be suffering from post-partum depression, Farrah Abraham is a hot mess, and Amber Portwood is battling it out with Gary Shirley over custody of their daughter, Leah.

Perhaps the most heartbreaking clip from the trailer involves Lowell and Baltierra preparing for marriage.

I’m nervous,” a teary Lowell admitted to Baltierra. “You know, some people get married and everything changes.”

The next season of Teen Mom OG premieres Monday, January 4th on MTV.
