The Flash Season 2 Episode 9 Recap: Speed Stealer

There was action aplenty on The Flash Season 2 Episode 9.

But the winter finale of this CW smash hit was also filled with a number of important personal moments, befitting of an installment centered around the holidays.

For example, Iris came out and told Joe about Wally, blowing her dad away with the news that Francine had a son.

This prompted some serious guilt on Joe’s behalf, as he lamented turning his back on Francine many years ago and leaving Wally without any kind of father figure.

Fortunately, Joe did end up up reconnecting with Francine (off-screen), realized that he needed to finally forgive her and concluded the hour by welcoming Wally into his house for the family’s Christmas celebration.

Elsewhere, The Trickster and Captain Cold both made appearances, though the former only showed up briefly, mostly to tease his upcoming role on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.

Mark Hamill’s unhinged villain, meanwhile, actually served to move Patty’s storyline by offering her the opportunity to “legally” exact revenge for her dad’s murder during a bank heist.

The Flash, though, is able to convince Patty NOT to take Mardon out, nearly revealing his identity in the process. 

Afterward, Patty shares with the masked hero something that she was unable to confide in boyfriend Barry: she actually blames herself for her father’s death because she skipped out on her job at shoe store – and that’s what landed him at the bank that fateful day.

Later, at the West residence, Patty hints to Barry that she’s prepared to open up to him about her troubled past.

Finally, we learn of a deal that Zoom has made with Wells.

Yes, the former is “fattening him up like a Christmas goose” because he plans to rob The Flash of his powers. And if Wells can help him accomplish this devious task, he’ll allow Harrison’s daughter to live.

After being given quick taste of what a reunion with his daughter would be like, Wells agrees.

“I’ll do it,” he says. “I’ll help you steal The Flash’s speed.”

The series does not return with new episodes until January 19, so go ahead and watch The Flash online if you need to catch up on all the awesome twists and turns prior to that.

Khloe Kardashian Shares "Shameless" Selfie, Quotes the Bible

Khloe Kardashian has shared a new photo on Instagram, one that shows off her impressive rear end.

She’s also referenced God to shoot down an influx of haters.

The reality star, who recently gushed over nephew Saint West, first shared the above selfie belfie on Instagram, writing as a caption to the revealing image:

“Shameless bathroom gym selfie.”

Hey, at least she admits it!

Khloe then went on a rant against haters, presumably those who shamed her body in the photo posted here.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star called out haters for their hypocrisy, even quoting the bible at one point and referencing God in numerous messages.

Here’s a look at what she had to say to critics:

• The greatest part about miserable peps is that they post all of this BS on your page. They attack with words behind their private pages.


• Try to shame you or verbally bully your spirit. So I click on their pages and their bios say “believer in God” “Put God first” etc.


• But how is judging and spreading hate being a child of God? Being a child of the Lord means spreading love and uplifting one another.


• Why don’t you drink your own kool-aid and uplift yourself.  Stop spending ur energy hating on others. It’s only destroying ur own soul.


• “Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone” John 8:7

Pretty well said, no?

We’d love to see the figures of the idiots behind their keyboard who lash out at stars such as Khloe online.

Coming off the self-proclaimed worst year of her life, let’s hope Khloe has a bright 2016 ahead of her.

She’s easily our favorite Kardashian sister.

Kate Plus 8 Recap: The Gosselins Are Back! STILL!

After a long ass hiatus you didn’t know was a hiatus since you were never thinking about it or the fact that it might return, Kate Plus 8 has done so!

You almost have to give Kate Gosselin credit for soldiering on with #KatePlus8 and keeping her personal gravy train running well beyond its prime.

Almost.

Kate Plus 8 Season 4 Episode 1 featured the matriarch in all her glory, taking the kids to Florida on vacation and grating on everyone’s nerves.

In that sense, the much-loved/reviled series hasn’t changed much: The producers just think up new locations and scenarios for Kate meltdowns.

Beyond that, you won’t believe what the Gosselin kids look like now, with Mady and Cara somehow 15, and the sextuplets having turned 11.

Despite the kids packing their own stuff, they eventually made it to Florida, where Kate struggled to drive a golf cart across the street and said:

“My kids said I was making a big deal out of nothing.”

Somewhere, Jon Gosselin is nodding in approval.

On the beach, Mady and Cara met three boys, and mama Kate, seeing them chatting from a distance, was aghast as she recoiled in abject horror.

That was basically how she put it, not us.

“I was horrified!” she said of the idea of her girls growing up to the point where they were talking with boys. “No. This is not okay … it worries me.”

To be fair, that’s the kind of reality check every parent faces and has a hard time dealing with in part. Kate, though, is a Defcon 5 Control Freak.

One wonders how she reacted once the cameras stopped rolling and whether she hired Steve Neild to run background checks on those boys.

In any case, Kate Plus 8 is back, and if you loved it before, nothing about the new iteration should quell that desire. If you didn’t, you still won’t.

Pretty much sums up a lot of reality TV, right?

Selena Gomez Gets Sexy for Victoria"s Secret Fashion Show

Selena Gomez is not in need of clothing these days.

The young singer stripped way down to black lingerie for a recent music video teaser, and she also performed last night on stage at the 2015 Victoria"s Secret Fashion Show.

The routine was taped a few weeks ago in New York City, but aired Tuesday evening on CBS.

Gomez first took the stage for a rendition of “Hands To Myself,” following it up with “Me & My Girls," an appropriate track for the scantily clad occasion, wouldn"t you say?

Both singles are off Selena"s album "Revival," which was released in October and debuted at number-one on the Billboard 200 albums chart.

The performance was not without a bit of controversy, however, as some viewers apparently thought Gomez was lip syncing on stage.

This is as cutting a comment as you can make about an artist, which is why Gomez actually went into the Comments section of the Victoria"s Secret Instagram account last night and responding to criticism by writing:

“Yes I f–king sing live.”

You tell "em, girl!

Gomez, of course, has also been in the news of late due to what"s going on in her personal life.

Is she getting back together with Justin Bieber? Are she and Niall Horan really a romantic item, considering all the time they"ve spent together recently?

We don"t know.
