Dan Haggerty Dies; Grizzly Adams Star Was 74

Dan Haggerty – star of the beloved film and television series The Life and Times of Grizzly Adams – has passed away at the age of 74.

Haggerty had reportedly been battling cancer for several months at the time of his death.

After getting his start in the industry as an animal handler and stunt expert, Haggerty made the transiition to acting in the late ’60s, appearing in such classic films as Easy Rider.

Haggerty’s famous beard and thousand-watt smile helped him land his most iconic role when he was hand-chosen to appear in the Grizzly Adams film, which became a surprise box office smash in 1974.

The movie spawned a television series and two made-for-TV movies, all of which starred Haggerty in the role of the iconic mountain man.

For a period of time in the late ’70s and early ’80s, Haggerty was one of the most recognized faces in American television.

In addition to his role in Adams, he made guest appearances on such hit shows as CHiPs and Charlie’s Angels.

Sources say doctors discovered a tumor while Haggerty was undergoing surgery for back pain less than a year ago.

The actor passed away at his home in the San Fernando Valley, surrounded by family and friends.

Donald Trump: Listen To My Patriotic Jam, It"s Got Freedom Girls

There are certain things you can"t unsee.

At a January 13th Pensacola rally, three girls in patriotic costumes performed "The Official Donald Trump Jam" as part of the candidate"s campaign.

The aforementioned jam was a remix of the wartime song, "Over There" and – if I"m not mistaken – Blondie"s "Heart of Glass?"

Here are the lyrics I picked up:

 "Cowardice, are you serious?"

"Apologies for freedom, I can"t handle this!"

"When freedom rings, answer the call!"

"On Your Feet! Stand up tall!

"Freedom"s on our shoulders, USA!"

"Enemies of freedom face the music.  Come on boys, take "em down!"

Kristen Stewart: Too Fat For Modeling?!

In addition to holding the world record for touching her own hair the most times in a single on-screen performance, Kristen Stewart has been known to dabble in modeling.

It makes sense, as runway shows are the only place where she’s actually the least sulky person in the room. 

Unfortunately, K-Stew’s career may be in danger, as influential designer and Vampire King, Karl Lagerfeld, has reportedly deemed her too fat to wear his ridiculous clothing in public.

Yes, a source tells Star magazine that a “certain high-end designer” (read: Lagerfeld) has warned Kristen that she needs to “get into shape” or risk losing her contract.

“Kristen feels like she shouldn’t have to work out, since she’d rather smoke cigarettes than eat anyway,” one insider hilariously explains.

“But she’s not 19 anymore and if she wants to be the face of a luxury brand, she needs to keep up with the Hollywood standard, which is toned, healthy body.”

This all comes as a shock to us, as we were under the impression that Kristen’s diet consists entirely of her own lower lip.

Plus, we’ve seen Kristen Stewart naked, and the girl is nothing if not toned.

Even more surprising than this reminder that the fashion world is full of douche-heads is the revelation that Kristen still smokes cigarettes.

We knew she smokes weed, but that’s less harmful than tobacco. Of course, you have to contend with the munchies, but…

A-ha! It’s all coming together. We’re throught the looking glass here, people.

Nene Leakes Returns To RHOA: "Yes, B--ches, I am Back!"

"Pick your faces up off the floor, she"s back."

Those are the words of a woman glad to be back on her home turf.

This Sunday, Nene Leakes returns to The Real Housewives of Atlanta after leaving after season seven to pursue other endeavors.

During her time out from RHOA, Leakes has been involved with E!"s Fashion Police, played Mama Morton on Broadway"s Chicago, and duked it out with the ladies from The View.

"I felt like season seven was really hard.  I felt like there were times when I felt really ganged up on.  

"Imagine all of you girls coming at one person at a table," Leakes explained to the co-hosts back in November.

"I can handle myself, Whoopi," she said to Goldberg.  "You know me.  But, it"s not cool.  It"s not fair for everybody to come at you at once, and to make you appear to be something that you"re not."

Leakes has never closed the door on the franchise, which turned her into a huge star – she reportedly made over $ 1 million per season.

"Housewives have been very good to me.  It"s opened up many doors and opportunities for me," Leakes said on the show.
