Duggar Family Denies Jana Spinoff, Josh Settlement in Statement
Despite reports that Jana Duggar is getting her own TLC spinoff show, the 19 Kids & Counting family has put out a statement denying this.
Moreover, the family blog takes issue with recent rumors that the Duggars and/or TLC settled with Josh Duggar’s sexual assault accuser.
A production source close to TLC and the family confirmed – or so we thought – that a Jana Duggar spinoff was in the works in Arkansas.
Other reports didn’t go quite that far, but suggested there was indeed a new show centered around the famous family, including Jana.
Starring role or not, Jana – a 26-year-old, beautiful, single young woman untainted by scandal – seemed like the perfect choice to focus on.
She’s everyone’s favorite Duggar, after all. Well, at least here at THG.
Viewers are still very interested in their lives, especially “Cinderella” Jana, who is said to be eager to start her own family and have kids.
Since Jana’s “younger sisters are already married and have families of their own,” the reality star has started to “compare herself to them.”
As such, she is ready for her own life and house, and the alleged new show made us wonder if TLC planned 19 Kids’ return all along.
Is this all too good to be true, and ultimately premature, however?
According to the Duggar Family Blog, NOTHING is confirmed right now, and the Duggars have been staying deliberately mum on the topic.
A statement on the site acknowledges, accurately, that “fans are eager to see this super-sized clan reclaim its place in the TLC lineup.”
However, “[a]s of right now, there has been no official, public word from either TLC or the Duggar family regarding [a possible new show].”
The statement did admit that “a few individuals claim to have seen them filming around Northwest Arkansas” with a TLC crew. However:
“If and when an announcement is made,” the conservative brood promises, the official site “will share all the details” with Duggar Nation.
So … perhaps they’re just delaying the official announcement?
The Duggars’ blog also addressed the rumor that TLC paid off Danica Dillon to make her sexual assault lawsuit against Josh disappear.
Dillon “will bear her own costs and fees in this matter and that no one has or will pay her any money to resolve this matter,” the Duggars said.
That denial was just that – a denial. As far as the Duggar family’s future on TLC is concerned, we still think there’s something in the works.

Jenelle Evans" Ex, Nathan Griffith Faces Eviction From Apartment
First he gets arrested for stealing her car.
Now, Jenelle Evans’ ex-fiance, Nathan Griffith is being evicted from his apartment falling behind on rent.
Radar Online got ahold of paperwork (two sets, in fact) filed by Griffith’s landlord in Horry County, South Carolina.
On December 7th, 2015, Griffith owed $ 1,534.74 with a note from the landlord stating that “The tenant fails or refuses to pay the rent when due.”
A source came to Griffith’s defense, claiming that “he was late on his rent but he paid it and is still in the apartment.
“The leasing company sold the property so that is why it was listed twice.”
On February 3rd, Griffith was arrested for misdemeanor larceny charges after he stole $ 1000 worth of items from Evans’ car while she was on vacation in Miami with boyfriend David Eason.
Before that Evans and Griffith got into it over the car.
“Nathan asked what Jenelle and David are doing about the car since he pays for it,” a source tld Radar.
“It’s Jenelle and Nathan’s car that they have always had. Jenelle lets David drive the car and Nathan knows Jenelle is handing the car in after she gets it fixed. Jenelle discussed all of this with him.”
Griffith is fighting for more visition rights, since Evans retains sole custody of their son, Kaiser.
Khloe Kardashian: A Demanding Diva on the Set of Her New Talk Show?
Last week, we reported that Khloe Kardashian’s FYI talk show Kocktails With Khloe was renewed for another season.
Unfortunately, it seems a 15-episode order from a basic cable network no one’s ever heard of was enough to send Khloe on an ego trip, and sources say she’s been butting heads with producers over which direction the show should go in.
“Now that Khloe’s talk show got picked up for all these new episodes, she wants more stake in the company than ever before,” a source close to the situation tells Radar Online.
“She now knows how powerful her voice truly is.”
Of course, with great power comes great insufferability, and insiders say Khloe has been openly arguing with the same production team that helped maker her show a success.
It seems the main point on which they disagree is how big of a role Khloe’s family should play in the show going forward.
Apparently, Khloe is hoping to send the message that she’s more than just a member of a famous family, and she’d like to feature more non-Kardashian guests like Tori Spelling and Snooki.
“Khloe really does not want to have her family on every single week anymore because she wants to stand out from that, which is why she had Tori on this week,” says the source.
Her producers, however, seem to feel that Kocktails works best as a companion series to Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
“The producers at the network really believe that people are tuning in to the show to see the off-script Kardashian drama carry over into Kocktails,” says one insider.
“They are looking at this the same way that audiences respond to such shows as Watch What Happens Live. So right now, they are having a bit of discrepancy with Khloe as far as the future format of Kocktails goes.”
Something tells us Khloe will end up getting her way.
After all, it sounds like the producers would be the first to admit that they’re reliant on Kardashian star power.
