Bristol Palin & Dakota Meyer: MARRIED!

Well, this is a one heckuva gosh darn surprise, you betcha!

Last month we learned that Bristol Palin and Dakota Meyer are back together after separating last year.

Yesterday, it was announced that Bristol and Dakota are engaged (for the second time).

And just moments ago, the happy couple revealed to the world that they’re married, via a joint statement issued to Entertainment Tonight:

“Life is full of ups and downs but in the end, you’ll end up where you’re supposed to be,” the Meyers wrote.

“We are so happy to share with loved ones the wonderful news that we got married!”

Well, we guess the heart wants what it wants.

And sometimes it thinks it wants something, then it changes its mind, makes the other heart take a paternity test, and then decides that it does in fact want it wanted in the first place.

Yes, to say Bristol and Dakota have endured a rocky road to the altar would be putting it very, very mildly.

Bristol called off her wedding to Dakota just days before the couple was scheduled to exchange vows in May of last year.

Interestingly, the couple’s families still gathered for what must have been one hell of an awkward barbecue in Kentucky on the day that the nuptials were supposed to take place.

Sarah Palin was reportedly spotted screaming at Dakota at the shindig, leading many to believe the Marine Corps veteran had cheated on her daughter.

Bristol and Dakota battled over custody of daughter Sailor Grace, and at one point, things got so ugly that Bristol forced Dakota to take a paternity test.

According to reports that we find incredibly hard to believe, the couple grew close again during Meyer’s visits to Alaska to see his daughter.

And today they dropped a wedding bombshell on us all.

So … congrats? We’re gonna hold out and see how this thing goes before we get too excited, dontcha know.

Game of Thrones Season 6 Finale Details Revealed: Which Character Will Die in Battle?

Well, it’s hard to believe, but another season of Game of Thrones is almost at an end.

Thus far, the show’s epic sixth outing has left us with little to complain about.

(Maybe it got too deep in the weeds with Faceless Men, Three-Eyed Ravens and other mystical mumbo-jumbo at times, but that’s a gripe for another time.)

Things started out at such a breakneck pace that we were actually glad when showrunners D.B. Weiss and David Benioff eased up on the reins a bit.

The first half of this season gave us the predicted resurrection of one character, the shocking death of another, and some fan favorites returning to badass form.

(The sight of Daenerys’ nude triumph over her Dothkraki captors will surely remain etched in the memories of fans … for a number of reasons.) 

The most recent episodes have had their share of jaw-dropping moments (We’re really staring to hate that damn Waif that’s got it out for Arya.), but they often felt like place-setting installments that were less about advancing the plot and more about arranging the pieces for an unforgettable endgame.

Today, HBO released the titles of the final two episodes of Game of Thrones Season 6 (We already knew that next week’s installment is titled “No One,” a favorite phrase among Jaqen H’ghar and the rest of the Faceless), and naturally, the Internet is going ape with speculation.

For as long as it’s been in post-book territory, the show has delighted in throwing us curveballs, but for the penultimate episode (historically the season’s most eventful), Weiss and Benioff seem to be laying all their cards on the table.

Entitled “The Battle of the Bastards” – and directed by Miguel Sapochnik, who helmed last season’s Night’s King coming-out party “Hardhome” – the episode is all but guaranteed to revolve around the war over Winterfell.

The titular “bastards” are undoubtedly Jon Snow and Ramsay Bolton, the latter of whom [POSSIBLE SPOILERS AHEAD!] you can be certain will be killed in some spectacularly satisfying way, possibly by Sansa.

We’d feel terrible if we got your hopes up for nothing, but a bastard’s gonna die, and you can be damn sure it won’t be Jon again.

As for the finale, little is known about the plot, but it’s also directed by Sapochnik, it’s the show’s longest episode to date at 69 minutes, and with a title like “The Winds of Winter” (also the name of the forthcoming sixth installment of George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series), you can be fairly certain that it won’t disappoint.

We’ve known that winter is coming since the the series debuted back in 2011 – and it sounds like with the finale of Season 6, it’ll finally arrive.

Bethenny Frankel: Victim of Skinny-Shaming on Instagram!

When you’re a woman with a body, you just can’t win.

Trolls are everywhere on social media telling women they’re too fat, too thin, too this or too whatever.

Their latest victim is Bethenny Frankel, who recently shared the pic above to Instagram.

She was attending a gala celebrating the top women in brand marketing, but all fans cared about was her slender physique.

“Needs a hamburger. Too thin,” wrote one commenter.

“Your collar bones should not look like they are popping out of your skin…” opined another.

Some fans even accused her of having an eating disorder.

“You look sick and anorexic. You think your shit doesn’t stink but it does,” shared a detractor.

However, some fans came to her defense and told the others to pipe down.

“How about lifting women up rather than finding negative things to say?? You should try it sometime!” quipped a fan.

Last month, Bethenny shared a bikini pic to Instagram, and most folks thought she looked amazing.

Of course, that didn’t stop one troll from writing “You’re still fat.”

Sigh.

Earlier this year, the Skinny Girl entrepreneur revealed that she was “facing a women’s health issue that many women can relate to.”

She did not elaborate on the specifics of her condition, but simply said, “I’m dealing with it head on and viewers will understand how I personally deal with matters such as this,” adding, “I hope women can relate, learn and support each other in life moments like this.”

We hope Bethenny is okay, and that all the body shamers would just STFU.

Kanye West Birthday! Kim Kardashian & Family Share Sweet Messages to Yeezy

It’s Kanye West’s birthday, and Kim Kardashian and the fam are using the Interwebs to toast the self-professed “greatest artist of all time.”

His wife Kim shared a sweet photo of the two of them kissing to Instagram, along with a sweet message.

“Happy birthday to my best friend!” she wrote. “I usually would be scared for us getting older but as each year passes I’m just happy we have more time on this earth together!” 

“I love you so much and hope this year brings you so much happiness,” she added.

Kim’s mom Kris Jenner also gave a shout out to her son-in-law on Instagram, sharing a photo of Kanye and writing a touching tribute.

“Happy birthday to my son, North and Saint’s daddy and Kim’s soul mate, #KanyeWest,” wrote Kris. “To say you are special is an understatement… you are one of a kind!!!!”

“You inspire, you lead, you’re the most incredible father and a wonderful friend,” she continued. “We are so blessed to have you in our lives!!! I’m so proud of you and I love you so much. Happy birthday!!!!”

Kim’s sisters Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian and Kendall and Kylie Jenner also sent Kanye birthday wishes on each of their respective apps.

“Happy birthday to one of the most creative and intelligent people I know!!!” shared Khloe. “Kanye, I couldn’t have picked a better husband for my big sister and I am so happy that you’re in our lives!”

Kendall echoed Khloe’s statements.

“You and Kim are ultimate couple goals!” she wrote. “You’re the best husband my sister could have. We love you!”

It’s funny to see this kind of outpouring of birthday love for Kanye from the Kardashian-Jenner clan, while not a one of them ever wished brother Rob Kardashian any sort of congratulations on his engagement to Blac Chyna – or on the news that the couple were having a baby.

Maybe they’re saving that for Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

Kim and Kanye recently celebrated their second wedding anniversary and appear to be going strong, despite constant divorce rumors that claim the contrary.

Then again, everyone’s always happy on social media.
