Mike Pence to Run with Donald Trump, Join GOP Ticket as Vice Presidential Nominee

Indiana Gov. Mike Pence will be announced as presidential candidate Donald Trump’s running mate on the Republican ticket in the 2016 election.

The Indianapolis Star has confirmed that Trump plans to announce Pence as his pick for vice president, ending a weeks-long process.

Pence will drop his bid for re-election in Indiana to run with Trump, whose spokeswoman, Hope Hicks, says “a decision has not been made.”

A formal announcement is scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday in Manhattan, and while Trump could pull a fast one, all signs point to Pence.

With the addition of the governor, a social conservative with state house and Congressional experience, Trump hopes to shore up his base.

Pence also provides an experienced, at times more credible and almost certainly more disciplined counter to Trump’s unusual style.

The Republican National Convention, which starts July 18 in Cleveland, will formally nominate Trump and Pence for President and V.P.

Pence, a vocal Trump supporter since he clinched the Republican nomination, will help him take on Democrat Hillary Clinton in November.

Trump appeared to have winnowed the field of vice presidential picks from about 10 people as recently as last week to a select few.

Some likened the audition process to reality show casting, but in the end, the star of the show picked a substantive, non-flashy “apprentice.”

Aside from Pence, the other favorites were thought to be former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.

A couple of prospective running mates, U.S. Sens. Bob Corker of Tennessee and Joni Ernst of Iowa, withdrew their names from consideration.

Ernst said she was focused on serving in the Senate but suggested Pence, a longtime favorite among conservatives, should get the nod.

Looks like The Donald listened. Will it matter?

Polls suggest Clinton leads nationally over the mercurial real estate mogul, but that her margin has narrowed in the previous week or so.

State polls also show her with a tangible, albeit diminishing, advantage in what will ultimately determine the electoral college majority.

Clinton has yet to name her V.P. running mate.

The extent to which Vice Presidential nominees, on either site, will influence voters is hard to define at best, and negligible at worst.

With Pence, however, Trump signals that he is shoring up his lack of political experience and his unpredictable style with a steady hand.

Combine those two factors with Pence’s popularity among a Republican base that is still resistant to Trump, and it seems like a logical pick.

Jamie Otis Opens Up About Miscarriage, Tries to Put Pain Into Words

Jamie Otis has experienced something she wishes no woman would ever have to experience:

Just days after announcing she was pregnant, the reality star lost the baby to a miscarriage.

Otis, who exchanged vows with Doug Hehner immediately after meeting him on the series Married at First Sight, took to her official blog a day after this tragic news went public and poured her heart into a new message.

She attempted to put what she and Doug are going through into words.

“My heart is so heavy,” wrote Otis, whose little boy was due in December.

“There are no words to express the pain and sorrow associated with losing our baby Hehner.”

Otis went on to write that she had just recently chose to visit a high risk pregnancy doctor’s office due to concerns that she was bleeding more than a pregnant woman should.

The reality star added that child was still moving around and had a strong heartbeat at the time; physicians found nothing wrong with the placenta, either.

Visiting the first of four specialists, Otis and Hehner discovered that things were not okay with their bundle of joy:

She did not have enough amniotic fluid.

“How could the prognosis be so ‘poor’ when I had just seen our baby’s feet kicking and his little body bouncing around in my belly less than a week before,” Otis writes.

“Needless to say, we didn’t want to believe in that prognosis even though everyone raved about how amazing this doctor is. (And there’s no doubt in my mind he is an amazing doctor, but we were just in such denial!)

“We decided I would go on bed rest, drink lots of coconut water and even more regular spring water and fight for our baby.”

Otis also shared the above collage on Instagram and wrote the following as a caption:

Baby Hehner, daddy made this picture collage for you. It’s only been one day since we lost you, but our love for you has grown more than you’ll know.

You’re our little Angel up in Heaven.

We cannot wait to meet you and hold you again one day. We love you and miss you.

Tess Holliday Shares Intimate Photo, Wants to #Normalizebreastfeeding

Tess Holliday is the latest celebrity to join an important movement.

Like Gisele Bundchen, Alyssa Milano and other famous mothers before her, Holliday has struck a pose that she hopes will resonate with others around the world.

She has shared a photo of her breastfeeding.

As you can see below, the image was taken while Holliday was getting ready for a modeling session.

But that doesn’t mean she didn’t still have time to provide her daughter with sustenance.

“@nickhollidayco captured this photo of me getting ready yesterday to shoot the next instalment of my #mblmxtess @penningtons collection,” Holliday captioned the photo. 

“And it reminded me of @gisele’s iconic photo breastfeeding on set.”

The photo to which Tess is referring is featured below.

It was snapped in 2013 and it included the following message from Gisele:

“What would I do without this beauty squad after the 15 hours flying and only 3 hours sleep #multitasking #gettinrready.”

Bundchen isn’t just one of the most beloved models in history.

She’s also one of the most dedicated celebrity moms.

“Working moms come in all shapes, sizes, colors & creeds! #normalizebreastfeeding #workingmom #whorunstheworld,” Holliday added.

The plus-size model is just the latest well-known parent to push the #normalizebreastfeeding movement.

Not very long ago, Kim Kardashian took to her app to share her thoughts on the topic, writing:

“I’ve seen this before and remember tweeting how shocked I was. Now that I’m a mom, I’m not that shocked, especially if you have a few kids…

“I think it’s such a natural experience and I’m not shy about that.

“I know so many people get backlash for posting breastfeeding pics, but I don’t mind them!”

Holliday gave birth last month to her second child.

Stevie J Granted Restraining Order Against Joseline Hernandez

Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star Stevie J says Joseline Hernandez is a vindictive crazy person out to defame and destroy him out of revenge.

Well, yeah. What else is new, right? But the situation has gotten so out of hand that he requested, and was granted, a restraining order.

According to Stevie J, his longtime partner Joseline is out to ruin his character, and has gone way, way beyond a typical online feud.

If you missed it, the allegedly pregnant Joseline called Stevie J a child molester who abuses his six-year-old daughter with Mimi Faust.

Mimi has called B.S. on that, for what it’s worth.

Sources close to the VH1 star say Stevie feels Hernandez’s claims are nothing but a sick attempt at revenge from a bitter individual.

Stevie, somehow, has taken the high road and remained quiet about the claim until yesterday, when he filed for a restraining order.

Calling Joseline volatile, jealous and filled with an evil sense of revenge after the couple’s nasty split, he asked the court for protection.

The order means Joseline, who also says Stevie watches gay porn, must stay at least 200 yards away from the producer at all times.

However, she can still swing by and pick up her Rolex and diamond ring from his house – so long as the police accompany her. Phew.

As for whether she’s really carrying his baby?

Does that look like a baby bump to you? At all?

Earlier this month, Hernandez shared a shot of her alleged baby bump, and claiming that Stevie J disavowed the baby, and good riddance!

She then shared the above pics, followed by a sonogram photo … which she deleted amid rumors that Joseline’s pregnancy is fake.

Why should Hernandez pull such a maneuver?

Beyond the fact that she’s a pathological liar?

We’re not sure, but she claims to be a few months along, and based on the photos above, at least … she doesn’t exactly look like it.

Stevie J, for his part, reportedly doubts she is.

The two have always played fast and loose with the truth (including about their own relationship status and pregnancies), so who knows.

What we can tell you is that it’ll be getting worse.

All of this comes on the heels of a nasty breakup and even nastier Twitter feud (mostly one-sided), with tensions escalating by the day.

Doesn’t look like any end is in sight, either.
