Joseline Hernandez: Stevie J Is Nothing But TRASH!!
Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star Stevie J married Faith Evans in a quiet, private ceremony last July. To say that it was sudden was an understatement.
His ex, Joseline Hernandez, was quick to throw shade at him at the time — quietly accusing him of having proposed to her just a month earlier.
Joseline isn’t done. Now, she is dragging his name through the muck.
Stevie J and Faith Evans are married, but that doesn’t mean that Stevie’s ex is going to let the two enjoy their wedded bliss unchallenged.
“You know they say one man’s garbage is another man’s treasure,” Joseline Hernanzes wrote in an Instagram comment.
As if that weren’t shady enough, she really drove home her point in a way that no one could possibly miss.
Joseline continued: “But we know it’s still garbage.”
Ooooooh. Dang, Joseline. Tell us how you really feel!
This is not the first time that she’s used social media to strike a blow at Stevie’s happiness.
After the story broke that Stevie J and Faith Evans had married in a quiet, private ceremony, Joseline decided to share some screenshots of a text conversation she’d had just one month earlier.
In the conversation, a person identified in her phone only as “a–hole” but believed to be Stevie J sent her a message reading: “Will you marry me?”
Joseline’s reply is shown as: “I’m actually trying to marry someone else I really like. I’m sorry. I tried it with you. I’m liking some one else a lot.”
That is one hell of a way of saying “no.”
That was on June 17th.
Stevie J and Faith Evans were then married on July 17th.
The two of them even got that date immortalized in a pair of matching arm tattoos.
If you believe the implications of the screenshots that Joseline posted, that would mean that Stevie was possibly just desperate to be married.
You would have to be, if you’re going to ask one woman to marry you, and then marry another just one month later.
That said, some believe that Joseline may have faked the screenshots (it is extremely easy to do so), which don’t even feature Stevie J’s actual name.
Others believe that, even if the proposal is authentic, that fans should still be happy for Stevie and Faith.
Though this wedding was sudden, Faith and Stevie’s romance began in 2017.
Besides, these two have known each other since the 1990s.
Some say that they belong together — and that, at worst, maybe Stevie was getting cold feet a few weeks before the wedding.
Regardless, if Joseline wants to argue that Stevie is garbage, she won’t have a difficult time.
Stevie J lost his $ 1.3 million child support appeal, though he did manage to avoid a prison sentence over it.
Nobody likes a deadbeat dad.
Additionally, Stevie J allegedly attacked Erica Mena, who accused him liking to beat up women.
We don’t know the full story of that situation, but it sounds like their altercation was serious — and began with Stevie insulting her young son.
To Faith Evans, though, he’s apparently still a treasure.

Cardi B Diss Track by Joseline Hernandez ROASTED on Twitter!
Joseline Hernandez might not be happy that Cardi B is on top of the world right now, but the Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star knows an opportunity when it comes a-knocking.
She has a diss track on Cardi, and she teased the music video on Twitter. And she"s getting roasted mercilessly over it.
You can see and hear this panned diss track music video teaser below … if you dare.
Joseline Hernandez, the self-described "Puerto Rican Princess," is best known for her role on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, where she brings boundless drama.
A huge source of that drama is that Joseline generally believing that she"s better than everyone there. As it turns out, that feeling of superiority doesn"t just extend over her costars in Atlanta, but over the entire franchise.
Cardi B is best known for, you know, her meteoric rise to fame with one of 2017"s hottest singles. But before that, she appeared on Love & Hip Hop: New York.
Cardi B and Joseline both worked as strippers before joining the Love & Hip Hop franchise.
Now, however, their careers are on very different paths.
These days, Cardi B is famous.
"Bodak Yellow" is a smash hit. If it weren"t for "Despacito," it might have been the song of 2017.
Cardi B landed her contract with Atlantic Records and left her reality career in the dust — for the moment, anyway. Her wedding to Offset may get televised if the money is right.
That doesn"t mean that things are perfect, what with a woman claiming to be Offset"s baby mama so soon into Cardi B"s engagement to him.
(It doesn"t help that Offset is reluctant to take a paternity test, which really raises people"s suspicions)
Still, Cardi B"s star is high and shining bright. "Bodak Yellow" is certified triple-platinum.
There"s a line in Cardi B"s "Bodak Yellow" that goes:
"These expensive, these is red bottoms / These is bloody shoes"
In Joseline"s diss track, "Hate Me Now," there"s a reference to that bloody shoes line:
"…drag a Bronx b–ch yea I said it… Fabricated, illustrated, cartoon a– b–ch, bloody, my a–! Who the f–k cosigned this hoe?"
Joseline"s diss track is getting roasted, however, with Twitter users saying things like:
"Joseline just had to be a nice hoe and thinks would have been okay. Evil hoes never prosper."
"This is sad."
"Rapping is NOT for you Auntie."
Joseline Hernandez isn"t the first to try to cling to Cardi B"s coattails by trying ot bash her publicly.
Azealia Banks tried to feud with Cardi B. Remember that?
It didn"t turn out so well. When you bash someone"s musical talent but then you"re recorded dancing to her irresistibly good song, it really takes the wind out of your argument.
But the point behind bashing someone who is a soaring success isn"t to drag them down, but to get yourself noticed.
Unfortunately for Joseline Hernandez, the attention that she"s drawn to herself has been decidedly negative.
See for yourself if the epic dragging that Joseline"s received on social media has been well-deserved.
I can"t claim to be a rap expert, and few of us can neutrally listen to a Cardi B diss track without having an opinion — one way or the other.
And Joseline already has a less-than-ideal reputation among those who know her for her role on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.
Maybe people just hate her. Or maybe, just maybe, her diss track is really that awful.

Aaron Hernandez: Late NFL Star Suffered "Severe CTE," Autopsy Reveals
It’s quite possible that there’s no more tragic story in the history of professional football than that of Aaron Hernandez.
Back in 2015, Hernandez was convicted of first-degree murder in connection with the death of Odin Lloyd.
In April, the world was shocked by the news that Hernandez had taken his own life inside his cell at the Souza-Barankowski Correctional Facility in Lancaster, Massachusetts.
Today, Hernandez’s autopsy results have been made public, and they confirm what many who followed his case closely have long suspected.
Doctors have revealed to The New York Times that the 27-year-old was suffering from CTE, a brain injury that’s shockingly common to football players.
According to the Times a team of neurologists stated that their examination revealed “the most severe case they had ever seen in someone of Aaron’s age.”
Sadly, the news does not come as much of a surprise.
CTE has had devastating effects on innumerable football players, both professional and otherwise.
The condition has been linked to the suicides of Junior Seau and Tyler Sash, the decline of late New York Giants legend Frank Gifford, and countless other NFL stars.
It seems impossible that we’ll ever understand the full impact of the disease on America’s best-loved sport.
But today, we know a little bit more about the devastating impact it’s had on Aaron Hernandez, Odin Lloyd, and their loved ones.
Now, Hernandez’s fiancee, Shayanna Jenkins, is suing the NFL and the New England Patriots as a result of the diagnosis.
Lawyers for Jenkins claim “Aaron had stage 3 CTE usually seen in players with a median age of death of 67 years.”
The suit filed this afternoon claims that the Patriots “were fully aware of the damage that could be inflicted from repetitive impact injuries and failed to disclose, treat or protect him from the dangers of such damage.”
Attorneys say that Jenkins, who has a 4-year-old daughter with Hernandez, is seeking “redress for the loss of parental consortium she has experienced based on the negligent conduct of Defendants that deprived her of the companionship and society of her father, Aaron Hernandez.”
The suit concludes by stating bluntly:
“On April 19, 2017, Aaron succumbed to the symptoms of CTE and committed suicide.”
We’ll have further updates on this developing story as more information becomes available.

Joseline Hernandez & Mimi Faust: Feud Explodes After VILE Comment!
Joseline Hernandez isn’t technically a wicked stepmother, but only because of the stepmother part. She’s just awful.
But what she tweeted about fellow Love & Hop Hop: Atlanta star Savannah, Stevie J’s daughter, was so vile and disgusting that we were shocked. Like, fair warning, this gets pretty graphic.
Mimi Faust was not surprised, however, and took to Instagram to remind the world exactly what she thinks of Joseline.
We’ve never understood how Stevie J and Joseline stay together.
But despite all of the drama that goes on, these two seem to stick up for each other.
And, you know, the heart wants what it wants or whatever, but Stevie J already has a child, Savannah.
And Savannah doesn’t care for Joseline one bit — and it’s clearly mutual.
Savannah, who’s 18, had a recent scene in which she talks to Mimi Faust.
And we already know that Mimi does not want Joseline anywhere near her daughter, Eva, whom she shares with Stevie J.
She’s even threatened legal action over it in the past.
So, Savannah tells Mimi that she thinks that Joseline is “toxic” and that she doesn’t think that Joseline should be with her dad, Stevie J.
(It would be weirder if she didn’t feel that way, to be honest)
Well, and we know that this will come as an absolute shock, but Joseline didn’t take that well.
When she saw the scene, she tweeted about it.
And this is where she gets all kinds of gross, okay.
“That hoe mad cause I run her daddy. Now run along and find your own c–k to s–k. You nappy head!”
Sorry for that censorship, but suffice it to say that Joseline isn’t suggesting that Savannah seek any cooks, but something a lot more vulgar.
But the implications of that statement are what make it so inexcusably vile.
Joseline can sink Stevie J’s cork as much as they both like, but she doesn’t need to talk about it with Stevie J’s teenage daughter.
And the icky suggestion that Savannah is jealous of that relationship is …well, words fail to describe the sort of revulsion that it evokes.
Now this is where Mimi comes back into the story.
Mimi shared a screencap of Joseline’s “endearing” tweet.
And Mimi made her thoughts known in the captions.
(Not that they were a secret to begin with)
“In case anyone Had any questions, On why I was So Adamant about NOT having that woman around my child…. Case in Point.!”
Yeah.
Honestly, given that Joseline feels so comfortable saying nasty things about anyone and everyone, who could blame Mimi for threatening to get an order of protection to keep her own daughter away from Joseline?
If she ever needs to seek one, she could just submit that tweet about Savannah as evidence.
Joseline took a conversation from a reality series and retaliated, so far out of proportion that rather than refuting Savannah’s claim, she really proved her point.
Fans of the show really put her on blast for it.
If you think that she’s sorry after that backlash … you don’t know Joseline Hernandez.
“That young lady is 18. She’s grown enough to [dish] it out she will [be] grown [enough] to take it!! I’m done with this conversation. Back to reality.”
Savannah literally just referred to Joseline as toxic.
Joseline’s response to to spew toxicity all over social media.
Weird that Joseline’s the alleged grown-up in this situation. Honestly, we wish that Joseline Hernandez really would quit the show.
Stevie J hasn’t directly weighted in — but he did tweet something generic about loving his daughters.
Just vague enough that he hopes to still avoid Joseline’s wrath, we’re guessing.
Nice priorities there, buddy.

Joseline Hernandez: Did She Just Quit Love & Hip Hop?!?
Joseline Hernandez is not letting the door hit her on the way out.
But make no mistake: Joseline Hernandez is on the way out.
By her own volition, it seems.
To the shock and dismay of her fans, this veteran reality star appears to have announced her resignation from Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, sharing a photo and a pointed message on Instagram this week.
I QUIT, Joseline wrote in a thought bubble over a photo of herself, adding FUCK #MONA along with the following caption:
“Make your next move your best move!! #puertoricanprincess #PUERTORICANGODDESS #F*CKUPAYME.”
Hernandez is clearly calling out her rival, Mona Scott-Young, in this post, along with the show’s producers.
The controversial star wants executives to show her the money.
After filming the latest Love & Hip Hop reunion special, Joseline alerted her followers that some serious drama was about to go down.
She was only too glad to stir it up herself.
“I need ya’ll to have y’all phones ready to record what I’m about to tell you about this b-tch Mona and how she muthfu-king treated her cast members and all the sh-t that she’s done to us throughout the muthafu*king years,” Hernandez said.
She added at the time:
“I’m a let everybody know. I want you to hashtag Oprah and I want to go sit down with Oprah.”
It may take more than a hashtag for Oprah to offer Joseline an invite, but, hey, we’re happy to do our part! Here we go:
#HeyOprahConductAnInterviewWithJoselinePlease!
Those who watch Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta online on a frequent basis are likely not shocked that Hernandez and Mona got into it during their reunion.
(Nor will they be shocked when Hernandez does actually appear next season, assuming this Instagram message is simply a ratings ploy.)
But these same fans may be surprised to learn that Joseline and Stevie J are actually on terrific terms these days.
The former lovers have exchanged epic insults back and forth over the years – and there may still be an intense custody battle brewing between the stars.
Check out the photo below, though!
All appears to be calm at the moment between Joseline and Stevie, who welcomed a daughter into the world late last year:
How long can this peace last?
Not long, knowing the history between the parties involved, who did a great job producing an adorable baby, but always do an awful job at remaining on solid terms.
Moreover, Stevie shared a photo of himself and Mona on social media yesterday, writing as a caption to it:
“Great things on the horizon with my business partner.”
It’s like he’s just asking for Joseline to clap back, isn’t it?
Heck, it’s almost like these feuds are orchestrated on purpose to keep our attention focused on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.
That’s a crazy concept, we know. But it just may be true.

Aaron Hernandez: Sad Details of Final Days Revealed
When Aaron Hernandez’s body was found hanigng by the neck from a bed sheet in his cell in at Souza-Baranowski Correctional Institute outside of Boston last month, the news was met with mixed reactions.
Some had little sympathy for the convicted murderer, who seemed to live a life punctuated by brutal acts of violence.
Others understood that while Hernandez’s might not have met anyone’s definition of a stand-up guy, his death brought a piteous end to a truly tragic story.
Whatever one’s personal feelings about the disgraced former New England Patriots tight end, it looks as though Hernandez’s life and death will remain subjects of public fascination for years to come.
Reports that Hernandez had a gay lover behind bars have prompted widespread speculation about the contents of the three suicide notes he left behind.
The note addressed to Hernandez’s fiancee – the only that’s been released to the public thus far – reveals that the 27-year-old may have taken his own life in order to exploit a legal loophole that would force the Patriots to pay out withheld bonus cash to the beneficiaries of his will.
(Legal experts say it’s a longshot.)
And, of course, there’s been a high level interest in the macabre details of Hernandez’s suicide, spurred on by reports of messages written in blood, and red ink used to create the appearance of stigmata.
It might be quite some time before a clear picture of Hernandez’s final hours begins to emerge, but new reports from his time behind bars reveals that his years in prison were rife with violence and insubordination:
In Bristol County Jail, where Hernandez served about 22 months before being transferred, he was charged with 21 disciplinary offenses stemming from 12 separate incidents, according to records.
At the Souza-Baranowski prison, where he spent the final two years of his life, there were 78 more disciplinary offenses and 12 major incidents, according to records.
At one point he was caught with a six-inch shiv, which he apparently planned to use to stab another inmate.
Hernandez was involved in at least four physical fights, and correction officer accounts indicate that he was often challenged by other inmates:
“Hernandez struck [name redacted] with a closed fist to the face and both men engage[d] in a physical altercation,” one Souza-Baranowski incident report detailed.
“The combatants ignored several direct orders to cease their actions and chemical agent was utilized to separate the inmates.”
Throughout his time in prison, Hernandez seemed to vacillate between cocksure and despondent.
A member of the Bloods Street Gang who once bragged to a guard, “I’ll run this place and keep running [expletive]. Prison ain’t [expletive] to me,” Hernandez also had a moodier, more withdrawn side.
Inmates reported that he bristled under the constraints of severe authority and often kept to himself.
Hernandez was often on the receiving end of harsh punishments from prison staff, losing privileges that other inmates say makes life behind bars somewhat tolerable.
In one incident that serves to illuminate the grim contest of wills that was Hernandez’s time in prison, the former NFL star received a food package in error, having had his commissary privileges revoked following an altercation.
Hernandez reportedly stayed up all night trying to consume all of the 24 honey buns contained in the package before they were confiscated.
“I’m a smart dude,” Hernandez told corrections officers the following day.
“I knew you’d be coming for this stuff … that’s why I ate as much food as I could.”
He then asked if he could eat the remaining four honey buns, but his request was denied.
“I am so hungry,” Hernandez replied.
“Many stories about my brother’s life have been shared with the public – except the story Aaron was brave enough to share with our mother and me,” Aaron’s brother Jonathan Hernandez said in a recent statement.
“It’s the one story he wanted us to share with the world. It is Aaron’s truth.”
Jonathan has yet to reveal those details, leading many to believe he’s struck some sort of exclusive media deal.
Whatever the case, mysteries about the sad life and death of Aaron Hernandez will likely loom for years to come.

Aaron Hernandez: Alleged Gay Lover Speaks Out, Demands to See Suicide Note
It’s been one month since Aaron Hernandez was found dead inside his cell at Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center in Massachusetts.
The matter remains under investigation, and while Hernandez left three suicide notes explaining his motives, the letters have raised as many questions as they’ve answered.
For starters, there’s the matter of to whom the notes were addressed.
We know that Hernandez wrote to his fiancee, Shayanna Jenkins.
In it, he promised Jenkins that she would soon be wealthy, a comment that’s led to speculation that Hernandez timed his suicide so as to exploit a legal loophole.
The former NFL tight end seemed to be aware that if he died while his murder conviction was in the appeals stage, he would be posthumously deemed not guilty, meaning that Patriots organization might be forced to dole out massive payments to the beneficiaries of his will.
The intended recipients of the other two letters remains in question.
Several media outlets have reported that one of the notes was addressed to Hernandez’s 4-year-old daughter, while the other was intended for either his lawyer or Kyle Kennedy, a prison friend and alleged lover of Hernandez’s.
The letters are being held by prison authorities as part of their investigation, so the matter remains unsettled.
Now, Kennedy is demanding that he be allowed to view the contents of the note that he believes is addressed to him.
“I want to be clear that at no time have I seen a note addressed to me from my close friend Aaron Hernandez but I have reason to believe it was in fact intended for me,” reads a statement issued by Kennedy and published today by Radar Online.
“It was the press that first reported that this letter was sent to me and as a result, my attorney, Larry Army Jr., has repeatedly requested a copy for us to review.”
Kennedy acknowledged that it’s still unclear who the intended recipient of the letter is, and he believes the only way that question can be decisively answered is if authorities release Hernandez’s final communications:
“The story about who this letter was sent to has changed several times, but based upon the close relationship that I had with Aaron, it is highly likely that it was in fact intended for me,” Kennedy writes.
“I again renew my request to have the letter released to my attorney so we can put this issue to rest.”
As for the question of whether or not there was a romantic element to Hernandez and Kennedy’s relationship, the inmate says he’ll address the matter publicly following his release from prison:
“In addition, my attorney has spoken at length about the watch that Aaron told me he was leaving to me as a gift. I have no further comment on that issue at this time,” Kennedy’s statement reads.
“There has been a lot said about me and my personal life in recent weeks, some of it accurate and some of it not. I remain incarcerated at Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center in Shirley but at the appropriate time, I will address these issues and set the record straight.”

Aaron Hernandez Fiancee Reacts to Star Suicide: "I Thought It Was a Hoax"
The fiancee of Aaron Hernandez has spoken out for the first time since the former football star’s suicide.
In a sit-down with Dr. Phil McGraw that will air next week, Shayanna Jenkins-Hernandez details what she thought upon first learning Hernandez had killed himself.
And that can be summed up in one word: Shock.
“I thought it was a hoax, that this was some cruel person playing a trick on me,” Hernandez tells of her reaction when she received the phone call that Hernandez was dead.
The ex-New England Patriots tight end was serving a lifetime prison sentence for the 2012 murder of Odin Lloyd when he hanged himself last month.
Shayanna was not the only close confidant of the convicted killer’s who didn’t believe Hernandez would ever do such a thing, as his lawyer initially called for an investigation to determine whether or not Hernandez was killed.
In the past couple weeks, however, grisly new details have emerged.
For example:
- Hernandez used his own blood to draw circular, Jesus-like circles on each of his feet.
- He wrote “John 3:16” in red ink on the walls.
- He used cardboard to make it difficult for guards to enter his cell.
- He poured shampoo on the floor to also make it difficult for these same guards to run to his rescue in case they caught him in the act.
Most damning of all, though, is that Hernandez wrote three suicide notes prior to taking his own life.
One was to his attorney; one was to an alleged gay lover in prison; and one was to Jenkins.
“Shay, You have always been my soul-mate and I want you to love life and know I’m always with you. I told you what was coming indirectly,” reads this note.
It continues:
“I love you so much and know you are an angel – literally.
“We split into two to come change the world! Your characteristics is that of a true angel and the definition of God’s love!
“Tell my story fully but never think anything besides how much I love you.
“This was the Supreme’s, the Almighty’s plan, not mine! I love you! Let (redacted) know how much I love her! Look after (redacted) and (redacted) for me.
“They are my boys (you’re rich). I knew I loved you = Savage Garden.”
Since this note went public, a Massachusetts judge has actually cleared Hernandez of murder (it’s complicated and strange; read all about the ruling HERE), which means Jenkins may now be free to collect $ 6.5 million due to Hernandez by the Patriots.
But this isn’t Shayanna’s focus at the moment.
She has a four-year old daughter to raise, and many questions that still need to be answered.
“I felt like we were looking so bright. We were going up a ladder to a positive direction,” Jenkins-Hernandez tells Dr. Phil, adding that she never discussed suicide with her fiance.
She had no idea this was on Hernandez’s mind.
This two-part interview will air on Monday, May 16 and Tuesday, May 16.
According to McGraw’s official website, Jenkins-Hernandez will set “the record straight about her fiancé’s mysterious jail cell death” during the episode, while also touching on “rumors about his purported secret romantic life, and if she thinks he killed himself so that she could collect millions of dollars.”
We’ll update this story if/when more news breaks as a result of the Dr. Phil special.
Until then, we continue to send prayers to his young child.

Aaron Hernandez: Cleared of Murder Thanks to Being Dead!
The late NFL star and convicted killer Aaron Hernandez was granted an abatement on his conviction for the 2013 murder of Odin Lloyd.
What does that mean?
It means the former New England Patriots star, who took his own life last month in prison, is now considered not guilty in the eyes of the law.
Bristol County (Mass.) Judge Susan Garsh, who presided over the original trial, ruled in favor of the star’s estate, citing a bizarre law.
Massachusetts law states that if a defendant dies while a conviction is still in the process of appeal, then the previous verdict is vacated.
Hernandez committed suicide late last month while serving a sentence of life without parole for the murder of Lloyd. He was just 27.
“Abatement is the law in this Commonwealth and this court is required to follow that precedent,” Garsh said. “The Court has no other choice.”
The state is expected to appeal the controversial decision, which will most likely wind up in the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court.
In other words, the legal battle is just beginning.
Hernandez’s attorney, John Thompson, argued that neither his client’s cause of death nor any assumed motives should apply to the law.
He also noted there was no precedent in any other ruling on the issue that called for abatement not to be granted in a similar situation.
“[The original Lloyd ruling] is not a final conviction,” Thompson said, even though a jury convicted Hernandez of murder. “And that’s what matters.”
Prosecutor Patrick Bomberg argued otherwise.
Bomberg argued that Hernandez chose to die, thus making a conscious decision to forfeit his appeal as a means of being cleared.
This is supported by the suicide note to Shayanna Jenkins that basically says as much, and was never, he says, the intent of the law.
According to a state police report, Hernandez even mentioned to an unnamed fellow inmate that he was aware of the abatement law.
In one of his suicide notes, he allegedly wrote “YOURE RICH” to Jenkins (above), his fiancee and the father of his four-year-old daughter.
“The defendant should not be able to accomplish in death what he could not accomplish in life,” Bomberg said of Hernandez’s efforts.
At stake is not just Hernandez’s criminal record, which is a moot point now, but his potential monetary payouts from the NFL franchise.
The Patriots may no longer be able to withhold money owed on his contract due to a conviction for murder, as they have been doing.
“We are arguing there is a motive to [commit suicide],” Bomberg said, noting the financial benefits; Garsh summarily dismissed that point.
“This court cannot know why Hernandez took his life,” Garsh said, citing other possible motives, including the athlete’s increased spirituality.
She also noted that other inmates heard via a Boston radio show that Hernandez might be gay or bisexual and trying to hide that.
Also complicating matters is that if the Hernandez estate does get paid, the family of Odin Lloyd still has a wrongful death civil suit pending.
They, in turn, may be able to access any or all money the Hernandez estate gets, if it comes to that (the Patriots are expected to fight this).
The families of Daniel de Abreu and Safiro Furtado, whom Hernandez was acquitted of murdering in 2012, may also be suing his estate.
A civil suit requires a lower standard of proof than a conviction in criminal court (see O.J. Simpson’s $ 33 million judgment, for example).
Hernandez estate is currently valued at $ 0.00.
Lloyd’s mother and sister led a large group at the hearing of supporters for Lloyd, a former semi-pro football player and Boston landscaper.
That group included Shaneah Jenkins, Lloyd’s former girlfriend and the sister of Shayanna Jenkins-Hernandez, who was not present.
The Lloyd supporters wept at the ruling.
After a lengthy trial, a Bristol County jury ruled in 2015 that Hernandez shot Lloyd six times in an industrial park less than a mile from his home.
The Bristol, Conn., native won a national title at the University of Florida and played three seasons with the Patriots, appearing in one Super Bowl.
